I love the property but is a little annoying that the check in is at 4:00 pm. were most hotels is at 1:00 pm latest. Is good to consider that if you are going to arrive early.

Great slope side property

Great place. Just don’t go on a weekend. Kids!!!!

The hotel has some amazing charm and looks and feels like a classic ski resort. However, the pool area and spa area is a circus. No joke, the hot tubs was totality full. The kid friendly tub has 14 kids along with the adults. The adult ones was just as full. I think we had 27 people in our. In short, you are going to touch people. The pools are just as crazy. This was between 4-6 pm. Ow, barrel saunas was a constant in and out and never got hot. The hotel is great but don’t expect that perfect IG moments.

We paid for the Gold but received one of the worst rooms in the hotel, the furthest from elevators and more to that with no view.

The restaurant service was significantly below expectations. The staff appeared disorganized, and we had to wait a long time before even being acknowledged by the servers. Additionally, when our orders were finally taken, there was a delay in receiving our food. When the meals did arrive, they were not up to the standard I would expect from a high-end hotel like the Fairmont. The quality of the food was also disappointing. Several dishes were not fresh, and the flavors were underwhelming. For the price point, I expected much better dining options and overall service. Given the reputation of the Fairmont brand and the cost associated with dining at the hotel, this experience was very frustrating. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that you can pass this feedback on to the property and help ensure future guests do not have a similar experience.

Just a wonderful stay in a beautiful place. Lia and AJ at the front desk both so pleasant and helpful. Ski valet services excellent. Especially the hot chocolate!

Cozy chalet vibes! Lovely staff including valet manager, had a issue with in room dining and they covered the cost. Busy season expect the pool area to be packed.

amazing as always, best stay in whistler

We had to change rooms mid stay and we weren't accomodated to transition seemlessly. We were checked out and had to check back in and wait behind many other new visitors with our bags. There was no attempt to help either, offered a refund if we would prefer. Really shocking to us.

Location is excellent! Some facilities in the room need to be improved… towels are too old … sink is stuck …

Fantastic Resort Hotel

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is one of our favorite world hotels. Whistler is so beautiful and the hotel is magical so convenient for ski on and off the mountains and an easy walking distance to Whistler. Can't wait to go again next year!!

Lovely staff that made our short stay memorable

It was a very nice property in a good location if you want to be close to Blackcomb, we specially loved the ski valet service. Downsides - they don’t have nightly turn down service, a lot of guests walk around the lobby in their robes, and the take out restaurant was super slow.

The staff doesn’t care about the customers. The hotel is over crowded and there is obviously not enough personnel to handle the load. Lines everywhere. The room we got was so much overpriced compared to the quality. Right in front of the service room and near the elevator. We couldn’t sleep because of all the noise generated both by guests and the staff. Definitely a very bad VFM

We absolutely love the Fairmont. It’s quite wonderful.

We always had the best stay in Fairmont Whistler😊

We were stuck in Whistler due a landslide on the Sea to Sky. At check in, AJ at the front desk made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. Amazing stay as always, we’ll be back next year!

The room 339 is too noisy. Can’t sleep well, all noise from lobby come right thorough the room. Host was asking for preference for room at check in. I just want to get in as soon as I can said no special request, end up getting this room not having good sleep at all.

I loved the facilities and every single staff member that we engaged with was absolutely wonderful. I also loved the face that they have a free shuttle to the lower village. I would go back.

Clean property and helpful staff

The hotel was great and the person who checked us in was delightful. However, the checking out process was extremely slow and the customer service was terrible. There were two people at the counter helping one customer, one of the staff might have been on training, but both staff saw us standing there for 10 minutes and they did not acknowledge us or call for other staff to come help us check out .... it was shocking actually, and not our expectation of the hotel standard. Also, the service at the hotel terrace restaurant was not friendly.

Wonderful stay, great outdoor pool

We went for a girls trip to celebrate my best friend’s 30th birthday. It was absolutely everything we thought it would be. The staff were extremely helpful and the beds were very comfortable. We went to the pools around 2pm on Friday and it was insanely busy and full of families with children (which is fair - but it was just too noisey for us), so we asked one of the staff if there is ever a time with less children and she told us to come back from 5pm - 7pm since dinner time is usually less busy. She was 100% right and we had a lovely time when we returned. The steam room was not working the day we were there but the staff were trying their hardest to fix it. The rest of the pool and sauna area was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend staying here and I will surely be returning. I was very impressed.

Awesome Pool and beautiful views.

Everyone so friendly. Nothing was a problem. Always open to whatever you need. Pool and facilities amazing. Coffee, tea, flavoured water, yoga, sound bath…..all extras that we took advantage of and loved. Nice perks. Will always stay here.

Excellent service ; kids friendly

Never disappointed with our stay at the FCW! We tried the Gold experience this time and everything from check-in/check-out and the lounge upgrades were outstanding. Customer service is exceptional. There were problems with getting items up to the room...sometimes several calls were required, but eventually things got sorted out.

We had the best stay at the Fairmont! Courtesy car and shuttle service until 11:00pm! Best customer service and dining experience.

One slight hiccup. The Gold Room was excellent, Hotel was and is excellent. checking in experience was poor, due to staff at Good Room Desk. Or should I say one person. Excellent response from the manager and the resolution was to improve staff training. Can recommend highly. A great experience.

Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Loved the attention and treats for small dog Milo. Proactive customer service, night cap prep, prompt service detailed attention to service. Good was great. Beds were confirtable, great espresso coffee, complimentary water. Didn't get a chance to enjoy pool this time but it was big and facility was top notch. Keep it up! Definitely our go to stay.

Perfect facilities

Property size not as extensive as promo photo indicates. Staff were courteous but reserved, maid service the best! With self-parking, resort fee, tax over $100 CAD per day. Not worth it IMO. Whistler is worth visiting but stay elsewhere. I did get a room upgrade due to late Oct.

Loved the weekend in this hotel. Lots to do for adults and kids who love water. My one complaint is that the bar needs to up the wine by the glass selection .

Just the best!

Stayed in a Fairmont Gold King room. The lounge was amazing, so comfortable and wonderfully helpful staff. Lounge amenities were top notch, really impeccable. I switched rooms due to my mix-up with the bookings and right after I arrived, a little dessert cloche was delivered. Thoughtful and valued service. Thank you for making my birthday getaway extra special!

Beautiful resort! Hotel outdoor pool was heated and hot tubs were available for use at the end of October! An added bonus. Very well kept and staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.

A beautiful and sumptuous hotel complex. We really enjoyed our dinner. They had an offer on at the time, which made it good value too. Helpful concierge too, and rooms were large and spacious. It is a nice spa pool area. Although only downside, is there is no cold plunge pool to accompany the sauna.

Its good with kids. Im just disappointed with the fridge that i requested, its not cold enough to put our baby’s milk and microwave dont heat up too. I paid extra amount for microwave and fridge. But aside from that we are happy with our stay

A really exceptional experience! Staff were super attentive, location is stunning. Shuttle runs into the village every 15 minutes which is very convenient and makes it easy to leave your car at home. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and had an excellent experience. The location is beautiful, and the service is outstanding. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, making our stay very comfortable. The staff was attentive and accommodating throughout our visit. However, the resort fee and high self-parking prices were a bit disappointing, especially considering we did not use the pool or spa. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay, but be aware of these extra charges.

Initially we booked "valley view" room and we got a room that faced a ariel lift and we couldnt accept it, so we had to go back to the front desk, then we paid a lot more to upgrade to a fairmont gold suite and that was excel

It was an excellent time.

Hotel was very pricey for parking and food. Great walking distance to shops and spas. Nice and relaxing. Started to get really busy friday and Saturday. I would save my money and stay at one of the near by hotels for cheaper. This was not as great as most other fairmonts I have stayed at which was a big disappointing. But very clean and staff were amazingly friendly

Stunning views from our room! The room was very spacious and I loved the couch in front of the window. The pool connecting to outdoors was a lot of fun! Great customer service in the bar and restaurants.

Enjoyed it all just wished for 2 hours every night from 9-11pm it was adults only in the jacuzzi/pool area had to close our window because of the screaming.

For some reason they couldn’t find my reservation so they upgraded my room and both of my friends’ rooms as well so we can all be together. Fantastic customer service to make up for the system error.

Absolutely stunning!! First class accommodations, comfy beds and pillows and the entire hotel smelled of roses!! We enjoyed our dining, the lounge and the patio and the hot tub after a day of walking and shopping felt wonderful!! I hope to come back to this hotel and I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a beautiful, classy as well as relaxing place to stay.
