The Laundry room had a broken machine. I wish there was a water bottle dispenser available. Otherwise, all the staff was friendly and helpful.

Good room, Jay at front desk was super helpful and friendly. Our only issues were that our room was not cleaned or checked for need of new towels. Also no fan in bathroom. It was nice property and very quiet.

Poor rooms and poor amenities

The room I got first water shower wasn’t hot then I went to reception and I was transfer to a second room and the same problem and heater wasn’t working either, one again I went to reception and finally the young woman gave a good room.

No issues with my stay. Close to Domain, but you have to drive over. Fence surrounds the property so must drive over but it’s very close.

Ok I stay from Saturday to Sunday and half way through the night the heater cut off and the room was freezing. Me and my partner were both very cold throughout the night. I checked it I. The morning and the thermostat wasn’t working at all.

The property was decent. The location was on a dead end turn around, so access to the freeway was a little inconvenient. The beds were not super comfortable. Other than that, the property was a little dated but not in bad shape, clean. Everything seemed to work in the room. Nice breakfast served.

A little tricky to find, this is actually a bit of a hidden gem. You CANNOT walk to the domain, but its just around the corner from the best place to park for it. Staff was more than helpful. Great all around.

I booked this hotel through expedia. Expedia gave me a set rate I was going to pay. When I went to check in the receptionist told me I was going to have to pay a parking fee. No where when I booked through expedia did it state parking fees applied. Watch out because the train passes through the back of hotel and its rather loud. I will not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was convenient for work, but breakfast was not early enough to eat before work. The room had no microwave and the tub did not drain properly. Obviously the hotel is not proactive to maintain the rooms.

It was comfortable and everything was clean our room had 2 televisions and I loved it one for me and one for my Mom. This is one of my favorite hotels. They always have a good traditional breakfast with real food like eggs, back, waffles, coffee.

The rooms were very comfortable. I would stay there again.

I like this hotel I always stay here but the smell of my room this time was terrible. Not sure why it smelt like that but it did. Just a nasty cat piss smell.

Enjoyed my stay

I rented the room for two nights so that my wife could have eye surgery. I canceled the reservation 3 days before our stay, because instead of having the eye surgery she was in ICU with blood clots in both lungs. I didn’t pay for the cancellation fee because I didn’t foresee the emergency. After repeated attempts by Expedia the motel wouldn’t refund our money. Cheap!

This was one of the best- last minute hotel stays in my experience. The front desk was very nice, rooms was AWESOME! I never had a room with 2 TVs... i was watching tv on the bed & my daughter watching tv on the couch. The room and bathroom smells nice. The breakfast was a little simple... but still had a few varieties. If you are looking for a nice, budget friendly hotel to relax. THIS IS IT!! I wish i would of thought of taking pictures to post.

The service was mediocre. The bathtub had a big brown stain. The room had a terrible odor and the elevator smelled like amonia!

Had a good stay only thing that was wrong was my shower head from my room was dangling. Besides that everything else was ok.

Hotel is directly next to the train tracks. I could hear freight trains all night long. Hotel room is definitely showing age. Needs a good update and thorough cleaning.

Great stay, absolutely no issues. Note - although description wasn’t very clear, the hotel parking was free. It was a normal parking lot in front of the hotel.

We stayed at this property because we needed 3 beds. We knew one was a sofa bed. But when we pulled the sofa out the mattress was stained and ripped. It was such a thin mattress due to it’s over use. So we tried to sleep on the sofa but so dirty and smelled bad. But on a good note the breakfast was great.

I like the free breakfast at this hotel. The room was fine too but had to pay a higher price since it was the weekend where tourists came to watch the full solar eclipse in Austin. What did I not like? I didn’t know that they only clean every 2 days. When we were done for the day, I was surprised our room was not cleaned. I checked with receptionist and he said they only clean every 2 days. Ok I was not aware of that and every hotel I stayed in many years clean daily and replace our towels. Guess for future stays, I’ll need to research if this is the case before reserving a room.

The train tracks next to the property were a constant annoyance every 30 minutes. No one including the other guests I talked to got any restful sleep.

I don’t like the several times the train passed by and didn’t let me sleep. Ice machines were broken and there were no vending snack machines.

Marvelous Pillows, Great WiFi but Needs an Update

Marvelous pillows and great WiFi at a decent 2-star hotel with a good price to match. The public areas are tired (old tile, grungy elevators) and need an update. The ice machine wasn't working on the 3rd floor so I had to go to 4. Decent breakfast. But the staff are marvelous.

Shower handle not working

I stayed at the Fairfield it is really close to the office. I did not get good sleep as the room kept switching between too hot and too cold. My colleagues on the other side could not sleep because of the train rumbling The service desk was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was also good but not getting good sleep will make me look for a different property next time.

Nice Hotel

Not the newest hotel but the staff was nice and accommodating (I asked to check in early and they were able to make that happen). Breakfast was very nice. I will stay here again when in the area.

This hotel is not worth the money you pay. The first room I had,the sofa mattress had blood stains and o don’t want to know what else,I took pictures of it and I went to the front office,they changed the room immediately. Breakfast is very limited,no waffles,bacon or pancakes. Employees are very nice and friendly,but honestly since is part of Marriott I thought this hotel was gonna be nicer,is run down ,dirty and needs to be updated asap. First and last time staying here.😒

Was a little noisy at night. Sounded like helicopters or planes. Went on for hours!! Otherwise stay was fine.

It's what you would expect from a Fairfield Inn. Clean, comfortable and no-frills. The only complaint is that the air conditioning is really really loud.

I was a bit disappointed with rhe facility. The last time i stayed at a Farifield it was much nicer. The carpet in the entire hotel was old and smelly. Breakfast sausages looked like they were boiled instead of pan fry. Even the scrambled eggs tasted like they were boiled.

We like staying here except for the train. Also this time there was no ice machine on the 2nd floor. When we stay next time we will confirm at checkin that there is an ice machine on the floor we get assigned and also get a room with an odd number so we are not on the side with the train tracks.
