If u value security and service, avoid this hotel!

The check in desk only found my reservation for one of the 2 rooms I booked. When that finally got straightened out and I got to my room, the room was missing amenities. No ice bucket, no conditioner in the shower, for starters. Then when I went to my truck in the morning, my window had been broken out and my belongings either taken or rifled thru. Not a good experience.

Why a deposit?

It was everything I wanted except for the deposit I had to give them for, i don't know what?

Top notch facility and staff. Very clean and in great condition. Convenient location. Room very clean and comfy. No complaints!

Bathroom tub and floor need a good scrub. Grout included. Staff was friendly.

For my first time, Fairfield fumbled the ball. I reported to the front desk clerk on the morning of Nov 1 that one of my nightstand lights was missing a light bulb. The clerk, who was a black fellow maybe in his 50s told me they were out of them and "could not get more" at this time. WRONG ANSWER. I trust you would agree. btw, there is a WalMart directly across the highway from this Fairfield. They sell light bulbs. After my third night, still no light bulb. THIS IS THE USA, not a third world country......what's wrong with you folks????

Great room

The room was very comfortable, temperature was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, pillows too. Staff was top notch and very helpful.

Close to area I was visiting. Easy access to freeways!

The staff was incredible! Art and his entire staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Every single time. Will stay there again and highly recommend. Pool and hot tub were being worked on along with washer/ dryer though that was no fault of the staff. I still went swimming without the heater and it was just fine

TV did not work, shower had no hot water, room smelled of mildew, worst hotel I’ve stayed at for a Marriott property and worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the last 15 years. Very disappointing.

Quiet area with limited outside noise. Shower head spewed water at connection.

Room was ok. Problem was that the bathroom floor needs a mopping. Floor was very sticky. I took a towel and wiped the floor down.

Jessie was wonderful he helps us check in even though we got here very late. Great place for an overnight trip. The bathroom needs updating but room was very comfortable

Beds and pillows weren’t the best. Carpets need a good shampooing in the room. Staff was great, breakfast was solid, area around the property felt safe other than trying to get out of the property where cars are just flying by. Would probably stay again.

It was all good. Housekeeping only emptied trash and left towels. Did not make the bed.

Shower tub enclosure has pink mildew in corners. Took me 1 minute to wipe away with a washcloth before my family member noticed it. Carpet damaged in hallway outside our room (226) but did not appear to be a tripping hazard. Hotel was a 9. Would definitely stay again.

The room smelled like urine and there was mold in the shower.

OK, but not great.

It was ok, just ok. Check-in staff was nice. Room was acceptable. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is in need of updates. Biggest complaint, heard this from other guests also, is that the shower curtain was not large enough and water covered the bathroom floor. This was a major safety hazard and extremely annoying. I will not chose this hotel in the future.

It was great

I chose this hotel for the indoor pool, but it was disappointing since it was freezing cold water. My daughters got in for a minute and couldn’t stand the cold temps. I asked the front desk and the gentleman I charge said the thermostat was broken. Also, my room was sooo cold.

The staff member, Elyssia was absolutely amazing. She provided exceptional customer service over the phone and in person. The area outside of the hotel is not safe as a vehicle was broken into during our stay and we were informed by the staff that not only do vehicles are broken into, but they have been stolen in the past. If this is a common problem, you would think that the general manager would do something to resolve this to ensure the safety of their guests and their belongings.

10 minutes from the Airport and dinning within walking distance.

enjoyable stay

The staff was amazing the Reception/Check-In and Cooks were incredibly welcoming, courteous and informative. The rooms were slightly lacking in cleanliness but nothing overly horrible and Housekeeping took a while to clean-up. Other than a couple of small hiccups our stay was very enjoyable and i would definitely return.

I noticed that in my room there was wallpaper peeling away from the wall in the bathroom and stray paint marks under the sink area. Also the carpet in the lhalls on my floor had many white spots and the elevator had a ragged patch of carpet at the doorway. Outside there was only sparse planting for landscaping. It just didn’t meet my expectations for a Marriot property.

I like the rooms , bed comfortable . Did not care for having to pay and extra fee in addition to what I already pay for my room. She said is refundable ? I don’t think is right when I’m already paying $150 a night.

The place was not cleaned nor was my room cleaned when I removed the dnd tag. Stayed 4 nights.

I enjoyed the location of this property. The staff was warm and friendly.

Would not recommend

There was urine on the toilet when we got there. Sounded like the window was open but it wasn’t. Very loud freeway noise. Not sealed around the Ac/heating unit so cold air came in. Slept with the heater on 78. Worst hotel I have stayed in. Had to book for a funeral.

It was just ok.

It was a bummer that the pool was closed and we weren't told until after checking in. The elevator floor was in need of a serious vacuum our entire stay. Housekeeping kept knocking on our door after 11:00 for checkout. The Marriott website shows checkout at 12:00 but that wasn't the case. We were missing a shower curtain at checkin but someone brought one. I would think they wouldn't turn the room ready without one but that was just a minor inconvenience. Also, no phone cord in our room at all so we had to lookup the number and call the front desk from our cell to figure out the real checkout time. The staff was all friendly and the breakfast was hot and good. Just ok.

If you wanna get any sleep go elsewhere. The bed was super firm and the highway is right next to hotel and its a very busy highway and extremely loud

Phone in room didn’t work. Tv was unplugged. Lamp by bed was unplugged. Floor needed vacuumed. Front desk staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Very noisy from highway at half the building.

Nice and clean room but rugs in hallways and elevator dirty, they can do much better on that. Front desk staff were discussing between them .

convenient parking close to my room at the end. I had 2 rooms and requested them to be connecting. They were not but that was fine it was across the hall. My room had no towels but I just had to ask for them. my overall opinion is It was clean and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice.

I like that the hotel is close to many restaurants.

The hot-tub was broken. The pool was open, however the ceiling was falling in. For breakfast, the milk I poured into my son's cereal was spoiled. The room could have been vacuumed better, found gum wrappers and trash on floor by dresser/bed.

Check in was easy, property is well maintained. One of our 3 rooms had some dust on the counter in the bathroom. No big deal, wiped it off and went on with our day.

On October 8, using Expedia I made a reservation and paid in full for one night. The front desk person was not able to find our bookings, she admitted she gave our room to someone else. We got room 315, when I opened the sofa bed, I saw a syringe. I'm very disappointed at Fairfiled by Marriot - San Antonio North Stone.

Overall great stay. No hassle and super clean.

Always stay here

The whole staff were very friendly since the time we checked in and checked out. The breakfast staff very friendly and the eating area was very clean. They were always cleaning tables after each family left the area. Enjoyed our stay.

The only issue was an old beer can in one of the drawers

When we arrive we were given a key card to room the room had not been cleaned toothpaste spit all over the sink beds or made bed linen all rolled up on both beds. We will never stay again.

The smoke alarm went off when I got in the shower I guess from the steam and then the whole buildings smoke alarm went off because of a toaster downstairs

I always complain about how hard beds are in hotels but this bed was absolutely perfect.

Will not stay again

I had 5 rooms for 2 days and i paid for 2 queen rooms, which are more expensive and recieved King rooms, we had our grandkids so we needed the beds, 1 elavator for 4 story hotel, it took forever to go up or down, i will not stay here again

It is obviously an older property but it was met our needs

Good stay

I was expecting the room a little bigger since it had 2 queen beds... And anlist 2 more chairs in the room. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good even though they need more tables and chairs and another toaster.even though the elevator wasn't working at the time of our stay it's was a good stay. Good location. I recommended.

Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower with good pressure and heat. I like that the room had a thermostat for A/C controls. It is much easier to control the temperature in the room by choosing a temperature rather than turning a knob and guessing. Continental breakfast was terrific with great options and fresh food.

Great Hotel

Our stay was great, the only problem that we had is that when we booked the room it said we were getting a King size bed and a couch. We got the King size bed but there was no couch other than that our stay was great. They have great coffee.

Everything was excellent

Loved the location of this hotel. Checked in late but quickly and smooth. We were given the room next to the guest laundry, which had the dryers on at midnight, but luckily could hardly hear them once we were inside the room. Knocked off one happy face because only decaf was provided in our room, and the hair dryer had been removed. It was nice though to have the pool inside, even if it’s tiny, sadly I didn’t have time to use it.

Overnight trip

It was an overnight trip so sleeping in was pleasant. Everything was clean. Snack area had minimal snacks and didn't get to do breakfast due to miscommunication with the front desk clerk as to when it ended. Overall stay, 4 out of 5 stars.

Right next to the highway and had sheer curtains that didn’t block out any light and didn’t allow for any privacy. Anyone could see me from the outside.

It was an old motel that they are trying to fix up! Their breakfast was coffee and and granola bar! It work for the price!

The young lady at the front was very nice and helpful. Had a great attitude and smile every time we bothered her.

They turned us away due to overbooking. Frustrating.

Staff was rude. They only do every other day cleaning which is on the policy due to COVID.

Great stay!

Our family really enjoyed their time at this hotel. Even though it was a weekend, there were few guests which made for a peaceful nights rest. The hotel is located in an ideal area with shops and restaurants just within minutes. My family and I really enjoyed the indoor pool that was heated to perfection.

Hotel Room was clean and they had the best beds!

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The common areas and room were very clean and neat. However, by it being so close the the access road, the road noise was super loud. As if the window was open but it wasn’t. Overall, I recommend

Stay was good, peaceful

We had a king size bed, which was as hard as a brick. The room smelled musty and was so small we barely had room for 2 suitcases. We won’t be staying there again and the price wasn’t that good.

Fake Marriott.

Expecting more from the Marroitt brand, we checked in and checked out after we went to the room and smelled smoke. No thanks. Front desk manager needs to be trained in professionalism.

Directly across the road from the freeway, the windows in this property are paper thin. I travel frequently, including many stays at airport hotels where large jets fly overhead every 60 seconds, and I’ve never experienced a louder hotel room. Imagine bunking down on the median of a 6 lane highway and you get the idea. Highly don’t recommend this place if sleep is what you think of when you book a hotel.
