We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport. Since the moment we arrived the front desk clerk was very helpful. He was very informative. The hotel room was extremely clean and spacious. The morning clerk got the shuttle for us to take us to the airport. It was one of the many perks that was offered to their hotel guests . Over all it was a great stay.

Conveniently located

There were complaints of bed bugs from other guest. I had something bite on my face on the last night I stayed. I’m not sure if it was a bed bug. I tried not to think about it. Check your sheets thoroughly.

It was an ok stay but the people above us were very loud. And they took an extra 40 off my card and the management said sometimes the computer does that. But the 100 they put a hold on at check in cleared off as soon as i checked out but the 40 hasn't

We had to check out a day earlier because of the snow storm on Tuesday 1.21.25 due to airport closures. We were told that the earlier checkout was taken care of however we were charged for the 21st anyway, in fact that supposedly we didn’t checkout until 1:48pm! We were already back in California on Monday night so in fact we were billed for a night that we did not stay! Terrible front desk service from two employees! We will not stay at a Fairfield inn again and never book with orbitz.com! Orbitz not only screwed up the hotel stay but also the rental car contract and we lost two day of useage on the rental car with no refund or credit issued. Zero stars for Orbitz.com

Water went out in hotel. Instead of trying to accommodate me I received an attitude from the woman at the front desk. There’s also a weird mildew odor thru the property. Spilled on my bedding, asked for new bedding and took my own bedding downstairs. Lady at front desk gave me sheets that didn’t fit twice then made excuse that since it was the evening and housekeeping wasn’t there she could not get appropriate size. The free breakfast was the only thing that was a plus. It was decent food options and you could easily get full from it. Wasn’t crowded so pleasant to sit and eat downstairs

Don’t mind the outrageous reviews under me, they’re most likely from boujee people whose use to staying at a 5 star Hilton Hotel. Spoiler, this is not a 5 star Hilton hotel but it is suitable well beyond your needs. My stay was for 1 night in a spacious suite. The guy at the front desk was beyond helpful & courteous. Everything was great. To address the bad reviews on the hotel, the neighboring homes around the hotel are located on the left side of the hotel. The hotel is completely gated from that area. The hotel is also surrounded by hotels, restaurants & a freeway. There were no stragglers around the hotel while I sat in my car having a 2 hour phone conversation before checking in. I didn’t have problems with the AC unit, like other reviewers & there were no major noise issues despite being right next to the highway/freeway. Being a 4 star hotel in a convenient location, I would definitely recommend staying here & will continue to do so. Please don’t skip over this review, the others are fraudulent. Enjoy your stay.

I had a great stay at Fairfield. The location was perfect for the activities I had planned. The staff was amazing. The room was spacious and clean with a microwave and refrigerator. Loved that it had an indoor pool, fitness room, ice maker, and washer and dryer. The breakfast was very good. I really enjoyed my stay there. I will definitely stay again.

Staff were very helpful. Walls were so thin you can hear people conversing.

Overall really nice peaceful place to stay

The only issue is the metal legs of the bed stick out and if you are not careful, you will stub your toes. Happened several times for me - need to wrap the metal with something softer.

Rooms very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Easy access to laundry facilities. Accessibility to building is difficult from freeway off ramp. Other than that Price is great for top notch accomodations. Will stay again. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Safe comfortable clean hotel. A little noisy next to the freeway but nice and close to the Airport so worked well for a canceled flight.

Stayed at this property for almost 20 days. Had a leaking toilet that was never fixed, even after being reported. Changing TV channels was painful because of the system in use. Microwave did not work. Breakfast was acceptable. Better than average. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Booked a 1 night stay here in Houston. Flight was early, so they let us check in early. Gentleman at front desk was very helpful... Bed very comfy. My only issue was the TV kept freezing up where you couldnt change the channels.

Hotel was clean. However, I was highly upset with breakfast. Fairfield Inn only serve pork sausage. Not everyone eat pork sausage and it is against some people religion. I made a complaint about it to the front desk manager because it's not fair I'm paying my money to stay there with breakfast included and I'm not even able to eat a piece of meat for their hot breakfast because all they had was pork sausage. There should be at least two selections of meat. Turkey sausage pork sausage or turkey bacon and pork bacon. Not just one selection of meat. The hotel makes too much money to only have one unhealthy selection of meat (Pork Sausage) for breakfast. Furthermore, I was highly upset I had to wait 4 hours for them to unclog our toilet.

large cockroach found in restroom the first night, we managed to kill it. Coffee was not refill after first day, other than that, it's OK.

We were there 4 total days. On day three we had to ask for room to be cleaned. Had to ask for additional supplies other than the day it was cleaned.

Upon arrival, I had my elderly Aunt with me and four large pieces of luggage. Roxy the night clerk. Would (NOT) assist me in finding a luggage cart. Stating she's not responsiable for the carts and other guest must have them in their rooms. Leaving me with an elderly aunt and luggage to struggle with to my room. Maybe there can be more than one desk clerk to handle issues like this. The day clerk was awesome, sorry I can't spell his name. Respectfully and attentive. Nice job day clerk.

AC not cold… asked for service or different room. I was told it was working but it wasn't… was never offered a different room. Most of the TV channels were not working.

Hotel was clean but dated. Right on I45, so a constant noise. Bed and pillows were great. Small bathroom with short toilet.

Everything was top of the line service. I arrived at 4am and they made sure check-in was quick and precise.

The hotel was great and the free breakfast was delicious but the floor I stayed on had multiple rooms being renovated. The smell was horrible and lasted until the next morning. The bathtub was broken and felt lumpy. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. The room was beautiful and clean

Our room was very nice, but our room faced the freeway and it was roaring all day and night! It was very loud! I recommend a room facing the back of the building.

I like the short commute to downtown Houston to see the Astros! Plus there was a great Tex-mex restaurant near by called Maria Rita's that was AWESOME! Hotel has very nice full breakfast and that really helps save money. I will stay her again. Very Nice staff here!

However, when we brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, the manager promptly relocated us to a much more pleasant room without any delay. We were truly impressed by the swift and proactive response taken by the manager. Overall, our experience at this hotel was positive, thanks to the accommodating staff and their commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. We look forward to returning in the future.

I didn't like the smell in the room

Property is hard to find and right on a very busy highway. Room was clean and breakfast was good. Over all good value for money.

The property charged me for an extra night .I was disappointed that the property did not have a backup generator . My stay was during hurricane Beryl. My refund is not issued as of yet. The checkout date was 7/09/24 , not 7/10/24.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites was a fantastic stay. It's conveniently located right off the highway and is kept super clean! The staff were all very nice and helpful. There's also a laundry room on the second floor for guests (takes quarters) and breakfast was great in the morning!

Rooms a litle outdated, more lighting is needed in the rooms, bathroom exhaust fan is ineffective, and a deep clean is needed. The staff was wonderful though!!

ROXY was AMAZING!!! We had to switch hotels due to mold and mildew and we booked Double room. When we arrived she let us know that there were no more available. She put us in the king suite without upcharginh is from what we had already paid. Management was amazing during the hurricane and tropical storm. They talked with us and kept us up to date on everything. They worked hard to keep the lobby cool whole everyone was burning up from the heat. If I ever come back I will stay here again.

The front office staff was just truly so mean and unwelcoming. The breakfast was shut down literally at 9am, it’s from 6am-9am, and people were still serving themselves while the lady was literally in between everyone putting EVERYTHING away.
