Even though this property was undergoing a renovation it was exactly what we needed. Clean and reasonably priced, complementary breakfast was an added bonus. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

The only issues on cleanliness or anything were due to the renovations going on. Can't be mad at that.

We arrived to check-in around 10:30pm, but i needed to pee and the lady in front desk with a very rude expression said, there is not public restroom here! If you want to pee go somewhere else

Breakfast does not keep up the supply....lots of customers in the morning and breakfast ran outyet no one resupply anything...the hotel condition does not live up the brand

We arrived around 10:20PM, property doors were closed. Staff was on the phone, she let us in, gestured us she was on phone, which is fine. Lobby was small, connected with breakfast area, where all the lights were off, and could not be turned on. She continued to be on an obvious inquiry call for another 4-5 minutes before she started check-in for us. The feeling was a bit off as I remembered all fairfield's properties were more welcoming and bright. We were let stay in a room with end table on one side, but not the other, no fridge. The only note indicating they are under renovation is a piece of paper in elevator. No heads up from front desk. Other than that, property was clean, breakfast was decent.

All of the staff I met were very friendly and I truly enjoyed visiting with them while waiting for my daughter to pick me up. They are currently remodeling their facilities so perfect cleanliness was not there but understood and they did their best to keep that at a minimum. Loved my stay there!

We checked in and the person behind the desk, Tavian, was just so friendly and knowledgeable. I He’s a treasure! The housekeeping supervisor, I wish I knew her name, was just awesome. In fact all of the staff there are super nice & they work hard, but always with a smile.

Went to Austin for a concert. I had originally booked an Airbnb, but the room was horrible. I found the Marriott Fairfield not far from the concert venue and decided to book there because the concert was a couple of hours away from starting. As soon as I walked in the lobby I was greeted by a very friendly person at the counter (Tavian,I think). My room was exactly like I like it..cold, clean and comfortable..Everything was great. I know I will book at this location again. Thank you for making an almost unpleasant experience in Austin,a pleasant one.

The carpet in the rooms are old and dirty. The toilet in our room clogged three times, the technician said the toilet is faulty yet the placed us in that room. On the last day, they offered to move us to another room. It does not worth the money paid. It is the lowest and dirtiest Marriot I have stayed in. You should not list that hotel in your site until the management renovates it.

The property was under renovations and had a flooding event the day before we arrived. However, the staff were great! Traffic around the site was chaotic and dangerous.

Just came back from the trip. This is the worst Marriott I had ever stay. I was misleading by the rating and the name of Marriott. The property is super outdated, and the room is old and small. All doors including front door was locked, it means this area is not safe. Breakfast is terrible.

Fairfield Marriott Austin

Good hotel with good service. Hotel is going through some renovations but overall good, clean comfortable hotel.

Perfect location, remodeling going in during my stay. My shower leaked out on both ends causing water on the floor. My second stay here, will continue to stay here.

Upon booking nothing was mentioned about construction taking place. We arrived to see construction material in the parking lot. The hallway where our room was located had construction material covering the floors. The door to our room didn’t latch properly. The window in our room, one of the latches to lock didn’t latch all the way. The ac unit was broken in spots. There was patch work done in several spots of the walls. A few bugs, one on the table when we arrived and one behind the toilet when we left. A couple of towels had stains on them. We found someone’s left behind makeup brush on the floor, so the floors were not checked prior to us arriving. We woke up to lots of noise and banging from the construction work taking place on both sides of our room. Would not recommend and will not be wasting my money on this property in the future.

Hotel was a comfortable stay, was a little surprised that there wasn’t daily housekeeping service but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

Clean and modern. Used disposable cutlery and plates - bad environmentally. No electric vehicle charging.

Great value for the money. Considerate staff. Charming interior and overall vibe. Even if a little rough around the edges.

Recently stayed and was not impressed for the 270.00 a night. Sticky, needs updating, very generic. Just spend the extra 60 somewhere else. Staff was super nice.

Disappointed with this Fairfield stay

Check-in was easy, desk clerk was super friendly. Upon entering the room, we noticed a musty smell and a dampness in the air. The AC could not keep up with the humidity, and the room was warm all night long. There were also hairs on the toilet. Breakfast was ok; it didn't seem like anyone made an effort to make it any better.

The staff was friendly and price was good but my sheets and towels were heavily stained/dirty. I was only staying the one night and not spending much time in the room so I didn't bother the staff with my issues. Just a heads up, you may need to have your room cleaned before settling in. Also, this hotel is in a rough part of town.

Central to the area we were visiting

The hotel was fine for a couple of nights. It was fairly close to the freeway and the airport. We liked the free breakfast but the food was just okay. We felt our room was small and the furniture was pretty dated. We think the rooms could be given a refresh.

This hotel needs to complete renovation. My room smelled musky and the bathroom smelled like urine. There even a stain of you know what on the wall. I won’t be coming back!!

My husband and I had a great stay. I stayed 3 nights. My Only complaint was the light outside in the parking lot was very bright and close to the room. I had maneuver the black out blinds to keep the light from coming in. It worked well. Hotel staff were very kind and attentive!

Great place to stay that is easy to access downtown Austin but also quick to the highway to visit the surrounding areas too. My husband worked in the room, while I was off at Round Top shopping. Breakfast was great and plenty of selections. Front desk was always so helpful and welcoming. Great hotel to stay at.

The check in went smoothly and fast. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. The only thing I wish would of been better is the breakfast.

Clean and convenient, but getting a little long in the tooth and the lighting in the room was really deficient.

The staff, especially the Manager TJ - were so friendly. Made us feel like family. The amenities were the best I've seen in a hotel of this size and value. An excellent breakfast spread, coffee all day and a hot coco bar. So many little extras. This Fairfield Inn is a shining star in the chain.

Weekend Hockey Trip

TJ was absolutely professional and friendly. She was able to make sure my two rooms for ny family was close to each other. She did just that, to the point we had connecting doors. The hotel is easy access to freeways and downtown. Will definitely stay again!

Easy on and off from I35. Very clean property. Staff very friendly.

They weren’t able to give me a physical receipt at checkout because their printer was broken. Clerk stated they’d need to run across the street in order to print anything. Also an extremely small breakfast area. Uncomfortable to reach around other guests and be squeezed in together

Overall stay was ok. Towels very old, dirty-grey color, small, door to the bathroom did not close. Bedding also at the limit if longevity.

All of the staff was welcoming and happy. Octavia was a standout!

One of the "cheaper" options close to downtown. Front desk person would not get me extra pillows. Had to ask one of the cleaning ladies later that night.

Most of the staff were really helpful & friendly. The Courtyard Marriott was behind the hotel & you could use their facilities like the Bistro bar & get 20% discount.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel building is old but looks clean. The rooms are smaller than I expected. There is no real breakfast in the true sense of it. Located few feet from the highway is helpful but the neighborhood is old and a little concerning but I would not mind using this hotel again. I was there for 3 nights with my 2 teenagers. My teenagers would have preferred bigger rooms and larger hotel. For me, it was good for the money.

I stay here when I am in Austin

Cleaning staff short-staffed and did come to make the room even after asking. There was some weird smell in the room. Breakfast items were not fresh.

I booked and paid for a king size room. I check in and the receptionist assigns me a room, I walk into the room and it is a queen size bed. I call the front desk several times and receptionist doesn’t pick up the phone. I go downstairs to ask I was put in a queen when I paid for a king. The receptionist was on her phone the entire time and told me there were no more available rooms. I asked if I would get a refund or a credit at least since I was not aware of the change. She said she’ll let the manager know and they might give me a credit of $10. I said ok and I went back into my room. Upon opening up the drawers I find a pair of men boxers in a drawer. Not only was this the WORST customer experience, but it was DIRTY.

Bedbug came out. Few choices at breakfast- no bread (except for packaged muffins), juice machine was out of order, no bacon/ham/egg stuff.

The bed linens are thin, lumpy bed, limited breakfast and was one of the most expensive Fairfields I've stayed at. Not worth the cost and not an attractive area of Austin

Only fault was handicapped room did not have enough room for a wheelchair; I didn’t have one but bed was so close to walls it would not work for someone who did. Staff were very nice’

Property area was really good and easily accessible. The room provided to us was okay. Bathroom door lock was not working and was locking person in. It was terrifying experience for our daughter.

Location was perfect! Within 10-12 minutes we could get to downtown Austin. The manager of the hotel, Elizabeth, was amazing. Very helpful with suggestions for us, always checking in to make sure our stay was going well.Positive attitude. And she must do this with all the guests because we heard them complimenting her too on her service.

It was clean and nice staff. I did not like their breakfast, it was frozen and not freshly cooked. I picked this hotel due the indoor pool but i was not able to swim at all because it was cold and the pool heater is broken. I enjoyed their mini gym though.
