Fue muy buena experiencia
Es una habitación con todas las comodidades para todo ,tiene mucho espacio y es agradable. Me encantó
Roach Motel
This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was shabby and a lot of cockroaches. I bought cockroach bait and spray and still had a lot of cockroaches around. When you check in there is a minimum of a 7 day stay, no refund and too long of a check in.
It was nice having the “kitchenette” We never could connect to the internet Overall stay was ok
Nightmare
The room was not at all like the pictures!! I requested non smoker room and the room was smoked out had carpet burns, blanket on the bed was burned, water spot on the ceiling.
Nothin
It was infested with roachs and a mouse was in my room. And they knew that still never moved me to another room nor compensated me my money back. This place needs to be reported and shut down.
Thumbs up!
For the price you can’t beat it. The service is on point. I’ve been very comfortable, and safe at this location. The ease of changing, and adding extra days is nice. They understand travel workers. Laundry on site with debit card. I’ve had zero issues. I recommend this franchise when your traveling for work.
TERRIBLE PLACE
This is a terrible spot to book for a mini vacation. First off, I book two rooms. Then there’s a $25 extra fee you have to pay for each and plus $2.50 if u want WiFi for each room. Too much money they ask for and the place is not that great looking. Secondly, the lady at the front was completely rude. We went to go check in and she had the worst attitude ever. Third, when we went to check in she told me they canceled our reservations because they don’t do day or days reservations. They only do weeks. Now you’d think they call or something and let you know but no. We traveled all the way here forms. Different state to find out they canceled our reservation and didn’t even bother to call us. So we had to scatter to find a new hotel quickly. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Bad service all together. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. If you want a good hotel with great excellent customer service, go to La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Bush Intl Airpt E in Humble. The lady at the front desk was terrific and very very sweet.
mmm ok
Not so good. Noisy area, not extremely clean for my liking.
Creepy manager enters room while I was in bathroom
The hotel experience was horrible it was infested with roaches the manager was horribly rude the night assistant was okay the manager after having altercation with me walked in my room two days later using the saying that he didn't know he rented the room out he talked very disrespectful towards my friend about her RV being parked on the lot even though I had a room for 7 days the room next to me was filled with domestic violence he didn't hear any of that but he had a problem with my dog being in the car on the parking lot even though I paid for 7 days when you came to my room he had no reason to be there or any reason to walk in all my personal belongings with their he stated that he came in my room several times and forgot that he had rented it out even with my personal belongings in my room How Could You Forget and he had a paper listed with the empty rooms and I had already been there for 5 days Hotel pictures in lobby and online says rooms were updated they were not very old very very not clean
Roaches/Spiders/Not Clean
I had a very bad experience there because it was roaches and spiders everywhere in the quarters lack of service in hours the bed sheets were too small for the damn bed overall trash Hotel don't book!
The hotel is not as advertised it a no smoking hotel rooms stunk so bad we ended up not even using the room and only used it for parking for the family event in town for
Sucks a lot the place need some cleaning and some new people
Really nice place to stay and the whole staff is very friendly
OMG 😳 I may get robbed!
I tried to check in but the attendant was unavailable until I was driving out of the driveway. Unfortunately I left because there was a gentleman seemingly casing me for strong arm robbery possibly. I thought to myself, if I go to my room he just may follow me there and rob me and no one would be available to help me at all. Just 911.
Upon my arrival, I noticed the office attendee taking an extended break along with numerous infractions and discrepancies. For starters, I wasn’t informed that fecal material, urine, and bile would be splattered on the walls of the room. You could literally see the brown and yellow streaks splattered along the walls of the room. After 10 years of working in the Juvenile Detention Field, I can honestly say that I’ve never seen this level of uncleanliness from a hotel nor a jail housing inmates until now. Secondly, after the initial shock wore off, I noticed a small rodent or a medium roach scamper past my feet. Now I’m alarmed and I began to leave the room while securing my things. Upon experiencing this,I notice that the room wasn’t even clean. The comforter, for example, smelled soiled and had numerous cigarette burns on it. Upon seeing this, I immediately secured my belongings and called the front desk for assistance. After numerous unanswered calls via phone, I walked downstairs and rang the bell for assistance. It was then that I called the attendee and she said that all of the available single beds were dirty. This alarmed me because why would you intentionally give me a room that was soiled. As I began to inquire about a potential remedy for the situation, the representative stated that if I have to pay for the night even though they refuse to accommodate me.
Fine
Nice
It was very quiet and comfortable i will be back again and would recommend to family and friends but they need to spray for bedbugs and roaches other than that i had a nice stay
It was just a place for us to sleep overnight. Nothing special. The employee was nice.
The room had a bad smell. Roaches were crawling on the wall. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable.
Roaches and fleas and dryer broke down no clean sheets towels are paper thin and jobkida amenities
Customher service. rooms were nice. loved the roomkkhhffdddddfggghhjjhv
Ok, so you get what you pay for. We've been staying here for two weeks. Have NEVER had an issue. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but you get what you pay for. The manager Joey is very helpful and polite.
Growse
Room was full b if roaches, floors, showers, tubs, toilets filthy grimy
InnTown Gives What You Pay For
Excellent staff who respond quickly to any issues that they can manage! However, the facility is neglected. I ignored the pealing paint because it's an old InnTown but the roaches & the smell didn't happen until the 3rd day. I booked online so no refunds were possible. If you can, inspect the hotel before booking because it's nearly impossible to receive a refund even if the smell can cause you nausea.
Sucky
Its sucks no one is ever in the office
Roaches
The staff was nice and friendly but the property was in need of upkeep. There were cockroaches in the room and I was unable to sleep after seeing one in my bed near the pillow. It was so late and we were too tired to ask for a room change after having already unpacked and driven for a long distance.
Traveler
Furniture outdated. Room floor was bit dirty. Good variety of things channels
Hmmm.
I thought it was a suite. Not a garbage bin. A/C nice and cold though. Could of had more options in the bathroom.
Hotel is not a good hote to stay. Rooms are roaches and u can't really sleep because u have the all in bed with u
It was ok for just hanging out and if you need a place to lay your head for a lil bit it have kitchenette so you can cook
The staff was rude and I had paid for the room online at 11:30pm and wasn't allowed in the room till 3pm. They also said my service animal was not really serviced because it was done online. But my dog has a service number and a vest
Lousy!
Cheapticket charged me 289 EXTRA dollars if I don't use this service!! I would have stopped by this office which is much cheaper than this cheapticket online! I am not very happy! This hotel is noisy. the people are standing, chatting loud, smoking on the corner where I am staying the room. The kids are playing aloud on the stairs and a lot of "shaking" on the wall. it is right on the wall where I am staying. And people step down the stairs wake me up every morning! I smell the weed from my restroom which I believe from upstairs. It took staff about 2 hours to fix the door card. I had to stuck in the room waiting to get a card before I get out.
The hotel isnt that bad & Carlos was very accommodating but ... its roach infested ... big turn off for me.
Just off HWY easy to find.
The room had bad smell from cigarette or hemp, bath tub water's leaking and water run all the time, sink too lose, bed warp.
Nice
Ok
Not a good deal
Staff was friendly when I checked in however during business hours the office was often locked. The bed was comfortable but the room itself was in horrible condition, not kept up by property at all. There was a large area of mold on the ceiling above the bathtub. A medium sized burn mark on the counter. The air was not on upon entering the room and the smell was horrible. The cost per night on this room was not comparable to the conditions. Was unable to check out because office was again locked.
Terrible!!!!
The place is disgusting, there is cockroaches all over, the worst hotel ever!!!
Left out in the Cold
We reserved this property and were told that the property was overbooked. Our crew was left to find housing elsewhere. Bad service. Bad experience.
i made my reservations well in advance for a smoking room when i arrived i was told they had none then the lady told me she had only one and instead of giving me the room she said it would an extra 23 dollars because it had two beds instead of one and i felt that was not right i will never stay there again
Is it really worth the lower cost?
Day manager is extremely rude. She is engaged in collusion with local repo agents. Weekly room inspections are only done to tally your belongings for illicit activities. Marijuana smoking is so prevalent that all of my clothing smelled of it. Those pot-smoking rooms were never entered. Evening manager is a tool of prostitution in the parking area. Upon the morning of my flight to Asia, I felt compelled to bring a tire iron with me to wait for the shuttle. I pray the rest of Houston is not similar.
Decent place, not great neighborhood
Nice place in a dumpy are with some sketchy tenants.
STAY AWAY! Worst hotel in ALL of Houston!
From the beginning the staff was rude. Got into our room and as soon as we settled, roaches came from every corner and crevice. They were EVERYWHERE. The people above us stomped, ran, and jumped (maybe wrestling practice?) ALL DAY, EVERYDAY!! The people on either side of us had parties until 3, sometimes 4 in the morning....we'd already prepaid for our stay and couldn't get a refund so we put up with it....but we high tailed it out as soon as our stay was up. Worst hotel experience of my life!
Don't waste your money!
Conditions of the hotel was horrible! My kids and I were scared to even brush our teeth. The room was extremely small very unpleasant. It was unsanitary and we also encountered bugs on several occasions. Management was rude and even threatening. The doors weren't very secure and could be entered while the lock and other security features were in use. We had to move to another hotel as a result of the conditions and treatment. I would never recommend anyone nor will I ever return to this establishment.
This is the worst Hotel ever!! It's full of thugs outside wondering around the parking lot and room balconies. My truck got broken into not once but twice and their rooms smell horrible. I booked a non smoking rooms and m I need had cigarette butts under the bed! Just a plain out nasty place to stay at. The worst thing about it is I couldn't get a refund!
Miserable and depressing.
My stay was awful. I hated the place and the service. I will be careful the next time when going online to get a hotel. I had no idea that a suite would be so bad.
Vacation - no! Transition - sure...
The bathtub is in desperate need of replacement or resurfacing, and as the manager was quick to point out, they are not a "Hotel" per se, so you do not receive towel service, but BONUS! You can keep the towels that they do provide... O.o Be sure to bring your own trash bags, and be prepared to take out the trash yourself. Apparently, this is a great place to live, as the manager informed me that some of the guests have been here for 20 years. I wouldn't recommend this place for a vacation spot, but if you need a temporary, yet extended stay for work or a transition, it's definitely better than other places in the area, specifically right off of the Beltway.
Best of "Gunspoint"
Fortunately for future guests, they are in the process of painting the property ('twas shabby prior). The manager was quick to point out that they are "NOT a hotel" so there would be no towel service, that, as a matter of fact, the towels were ours to keep, but we'd be responsible for cleaning them. There is a laundry room on property, although high-priced, it was functional. Located in the infamous "Gunspoint" Area of Houston, I actually felt pretty safe. A GREAT DEAL nicer than the other extended stays in the area (i.e. America's Best Value Inn and Intown Suites on the Beltway). Interesting side note: some of the guests have been here for 20 years...
The room had plenty of space but had a bad smell in the room. Even after spraying Fabreeze and Lysol on carpeat smell didn't go away. Had another vehicle hit my car while I was there. Along with the other person bathroom that was connected to mine kept smoking and the smoke would fill my bathroom. Often couldn't find a place to park on the side of the hotel I stayed on. The wool blanket had lumps of hair stuck to it.
Affordable and pleasant staff
Very clean nice staff
very nice
great
well done
excellent
very nice
Good extended stay place.
Good deal for the price
Staff went above and beyond to assist us with our needs. Everything was in working order. Good value for the price.
Price value you can't beat.
Room was clean, price was right. Only problem is there is no one at the front desk on sunday.
Must check-in by 7pm. No lobby. Poor decor. No light bulbs in lamps by bed, no lampshade over kitchen table light.
Nice hotel, close to all the stores..
I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends..
What an adorable hotel, love it all around!
This is a great and affordable place to stay. While I didn't have much time to enjoy the amenities it has to offer, it looks like a terrific place to take the kids and enjoy some pool time. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone.
Disappointing stay - not worth the money
The non-smoking room I requested smelled of smoke. There was a small, used toilet paper roll left in the bathroom so I had to get more toilet paper. While I was checking the mattress for bed bugs, I noticed that the mattress itself had food and debris throughout the crevices. The air conditioner made noises all night. The WiFi was spotty, at best. The television didn't work. The "business center" was just two computers, only one of which was hooked up to the printer. The downstairs bar/restaurant was closed the night I arrived. After inquiring, the representative at the desk told me it was because the attendant couldn't come to work that day. I walked next door to get dinner at the diner.
nice
it was nice no problems
You've been warned
This room was horrible, roaches and bed bugs... Do yourself a favor don't come here. It's in one of the worst neighborhoods GREENSPOINT.
Sun Suite is not an Hotel but an Extended Stay
The office is closed by the time I got there at 8.45pm so I called the cell phone on the door and the person that answer said they did not have me onthe list they have. So I ask for the manager and he said the manager just left and that there was nothing he could do. I decided to take picture of the whole surrounding as an evidence that will show that I was there, when he saw me taking picture then he asked for the confirmation # and told me that Expedia did not transmit the information to them. He gave me key to the room at 11.15pm.
Truly a roach motel
Bugs present in the room. Bathroom light did not work and toilet was dirty. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. Glad I only had to stay one night.
Clean and Comfortable Beds--that's all.
We stayed in room 133 (bottom floor, away from highway). If we could have changed hotels, we would have, but Travelocity policy doesn't allow that. Pros: clean and the beds are comfortable. Tyrone, the security guard, was excellent and loaned us mugs and a pot and pan. He made the elephants above us quiet down once, but there were still times when they stomped around, as late as 2:30am! (Couldn't call him again because phone stopped working.) Cons: Kitchenette is microwave, refrigerator and 2-burner stovetop. NOTHING is provided--no dishes, utensils, pots, pans, coffeepot or hair dryer (but you can borrow a hair dryer from the office). Office hours are ridiculous--only hotel I've known of that the office opens at 11am. Seems that most people staying here live here. People upstairs were very noisy at night. Second day, phone stopped working. If you want additional towels, you have to turn in the ones you have. Cleaning people don't speak English so you can't ask them anything.
This was an alright place it didn't seem like the greatest part of town. The room was alright, clean, everything worked, everything was somewhat modern.
Said they did not like expedia
Told me that the expedia deal was a mistake but would try to find us a room. Room smelled badly. Water marks on ceiling through both room and bathroom. Bathtub surface had bondo. No ice available. No cups in room.
Just don't try to safe too much, risking your safe
High crime. If it wasn't for the staff I would try to charge them for the stay.
Most disgusting place I've stayed. I got room service 5 days after arrival & because I asked for it. Never again, ugh!
terribly maintained
room was smelling like cigarettes, despite being marked as non-smoking. my clothes still smell from it. toilet clogged at first use, no plunger.
What a Dump!
Could not find any hotel rooms in the area. This was the only place available. For 4 nights at $100 a night it was grossly overpriced. Shabby, old furnishings, lots of dirt.
Price was inflated due to demand. We had to clean tub and camode. Carpet was marginal. Beat sleeping on a park bench.
Good experience
Despite all the bad reviews we stayed at Sun suites since there was no other option. We were pleasantly suprised. The staff was resposive and friendly. the room was clean and nice.
Never Again
I think that being cheap comes with a price. $70 bucks doesn't get you far these days. Many times, I say it was okay for the price I paid, but in this case, I feel like I could have gotten much better, cleaner, comfortable if I would have spent more time looking around. Never will this be my quick motel/hotel stop again.
Average
It was ok for us to stay only one night, but for long stays you should think twice.
Don't stay here
Not clean, terrible service, more of a low-rent housing facility than a hotel.
Freeway noise all night long
I will find another hotel next time.
Hotel from the 80's
Never knew that there is a hotel in this country that does not have 1. Internet 2. Breakfast 3. Looks like they have no clue what customer service is.
Needs updating
This hotel is extremely out of date, the room smelled like mildew. The remote control had no batteries, when you turned on the bathroom light it made so much noise that you had to turn it off to avoid hurting your ears. Never will stay here again
We never got room service. Anytime I ask for service I was told it would be later and then no response!
Do not stay here
No business center, the room was unclean and had roaches and the area of town was not the safest. I do not recommend this hotel.
Great Stay
Overall my experience was pleasant, no problems with staff or consumer. The area is a bit unpleasant, however if your there for a few days I would recommended and will stay again.
Disgusting Dump!!!!!
This was by far the worst "hotel" I have EVER stayed at. The room had a musty smell, the compressor on the ac kept kicking off, there was fully grown dead cockroach in the sink, the 1 wooden chair at the "kitchen" table was broken, the faucet in the bathroom had hair from a previous guest had shaved & it was evident that it had been there for quit awhile! The walls contained holes that were very poorly patched up from where they had previously repaired the bathtubs plumbing & the carpet was full of stains! We booked a room with 2 beds (2adults & 2 kids) & upon check-in we were told they only had rooms with 1 bed available however we passed several rooms with the shades open & ready to go with 2 beds! The cable tv also only offered about 10 channels...would NOT reccomend!!
Don't stay here
It was not a hotel I would have stayed in had I been more aware. It was circa 1965 in terms of comfort and quality. The front door barely fit in the frame, it was very noisy. The smoke alarm needed a new battery so it was making noise. The reception area was locked after 8 pm and I arrived at 11 so my only recourse was to take the smoke alarm down and put it in the freezer to escape the noise it made. There was dog poop on the stairs to the 3rd level. The bedding was scary. Only good thing was the bathroom appeared to be a fairly recent update from horrible to passable.
Satisfied
I was very satisfied with the hotel room and staff. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends...
Didn't like it, Didn't even have an Iron in room.
They didn't have even an iron. I had to buy one. Can you believe it?
Definition of Horrible
Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! Discusting, dirty, smelly (When I turned the heater on at night it smelled like urin).
Fridge didn't work, a/c didn't work, hookers everywhere and a really strange tapping noise in the middle of the night. My windows didn't get busted out if my car so it wasn't completely horrible.
Cheap shouldn't come with roaches
The price was good but I don't expect to sleep with roaches. Couldn't even stay there my second night.
Had to move rooms 4 times to get a working A/C
Poor choice
I was very dissapointed with the room's condition. I appreciate the fact that I was given the choice to choose another room. It has been by far my worst experience in hotels.
EWWW
The room was dirty. I had to go down and ask for towels as they forgot to put them in the room. While I was in the lobby two folks came down and asked for toilet paper. the front desk was very nice but the room itself was filthy. I went into the bathroom first thing in the morning and there was a 2 inch cockroach on the mirror. I picked this as it was close to the airport, I will drive further next time. I would not reccomend this hotel.
Excellent service for good price
It is a great hotel, good service for the price, it is worth
Sun Suites At Intercontinental- a bad experience
This summer I have been in eight states and in six hotles. This was by far the worst exprience. The room was literlly falling apart. The floor in the bathroom was sticky- over the entire floor. Also it appeared as if someone had spilled white paint in the room and smeared it around instead of cleaning it up. I don't smoke so the room caused my sinuses to burn. The check out service was horrible- as there was none. I had to catch a plane to Denver like at 6:15 and there was NO ONE around and no directions as to what to do with the key- I still have it. When I checked in the clerk should have given me that information byt he was busy on the phone (answering a barrage of quesions from some woman who wanted a room for a week) Finall he just handed me the sign in sheet and I signed and went to the room. Bad Experience overall.
Freeway Noise
I only stayed two nights but I expected room service each day. No one came in to clean the room during the second day of my stay.
UPS AND DOWNS
SERVICE WAS SUPER NICE. KILLED ABOUT 10 SPIDERS (NOT A JOKE). STILL NICE FOR LOW PRICE
nice hotel but...
Nice hotel with fridge, microwave. Iron is required.
good location
This hotel was noisy. some people hanging around the rooms, outside on the walk ways drinking beer and smoking. Some people live there and didn't go to bed til 2:30am. the noise started again at 6:30am on a Sunday morning. You could hear people talking thru the walls.(thin walls)
the good bad and really ugly (the hotel)
I stayed there only one night. There were things that bit in the bed or the carpet in the room. I booked a room at a differnt hotel (Marriot) for less money.[...]
They don't let you know that you have to replenish your own toilet paper and either wash those towels or guitars the rooms are dirty and they have roaches
