Staff is friendly. We stay once a month. It is an older renovated hotel but worth the stay for the price.

Everything was OK, except for the fact that the elevator was not working

First room terrible leak from the ceiling. 2nd room was never cleaned throughout 4 week stay - repeatedly requested.

Staff is Amazing, building was horrible

The staff was amazing. They were very communicative upfront with the elevator, not working, tried their to ensure that my physical needs were adhered to by not needing a higher level floor. however, when I got into the room, there was mold underneath the sink, trash and the trash cans and stains on the floor. I ended up getting an asthma attack and they gave me another room which was in similar conditions and it was just decided that we were going to not stay at this hotel.

Amazing atmosphere

The room I got at first the air conditioner didn’t work . It had a bad smell like mildew .

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. But the room had roaches. Every thing else was supper.

BIG ROOM BUT DIRTY AND NO WORKINH ELEVATOR

The room was a great size but NO WORKING ELEVATOR. So going up 3 flights of steps with luggage and sometimes heels on was tough. Room was dirty We did do early check in but if rooms are not clean tell guests to wait.

The elevator was not working and had to walk up to 3 floors and had a bad back and knees

This is a very, very rundown property. I usually can deal with that but it wasn't very clean either. The kitchen had nothing (dishes, cups) not even a plastic or paper cup. The unacceptable problem was lack of water. I understand hot water sometimes get used up, and the flow from the shower isn't always great. The kitchen and bath sink knob didn't even allow to select for hot. The shower provided nothing but ice water even through the knob turned. I attempted again early in the morning. All three knobs were loose and probably ready to fall off. No coffee available at breakfast, only got water and tea bags, cocoa mix, muffins and nutrigrain bars. I don't really care about food but need coffee. Many of the hotels in the MD Anderson area aren't the greatest but this is the worst off all of them (I've stayed in most in the past 5 years). The only good thing I can say is the gentleman that checked me in was friendly and professional.

Customer Service was terrible no Front Desk was available for over 30mins the room had broken heater, lights and toilet ran all night. The room phone didn’t work and front desk was unavailable so couldn’t report until next morning

On arrival no one at the desk, waited 35 minutes for staff to appear Bathroom light did not work, staff made no effort to fix ot and i was told there was no other room. Never found the remote for the TV, smoke detector disconnected and laying on the AC, room smells like someone had been smoking. There was no breakfast, only cold water for instant coffee or tea and granola bars

Terribly disgusting rooms. Stains all over the bed sheets and pillows. The pull out couch was disgusting. I checked out the same night I checked in. Got to the room around 7 p.m. and left at 11 p.m.

Don’t stay here

The rooms did not match any of the pictures. We found bugs in the room and the floors had obviously not been cleaned in a while. When you sat down on the bed or moved on the bed it squeaked. The shower was so gross my wife refused to shower for the three days we were there. We expected basic silverware and cups in the room… one small plastic cup was provided and nothing else. There were obvious illicit drug deals happening in the parking lot. The entire hotel smelled of burning marijuana. I would never recommend this hotel to any one and will not stay again

No hassle just smooth transition. The guy at the desk was super nice. Room was clean and the area was very convenient

After a slow start(counter person help g other staff) the experience was really nice. The person at the counter was professional and got me checked in quickly. My room was nice, clean, lots of space. Really nice stay!

There was no shuttle that was in the description of the property. There were no pots, pans, dishes or utensils in the kitchen. The kitchen therefore was useless. However , the room was clean and very roomy. And the beds were comfortable. The tv was very small for the size of the room.

Ms.Tonya and Ms. Pam were great host, I enjoyed my stay there. Anything I needed the staff was there to help and were very kind! Also Khalil was also a great help!

The room needed some work but my stay was quiet. The breakfast was essentially nothing. Coffee that was out and a packaged muffin or Nutrigrain bar.

Garbage in the hallways, free "breakfast" nothing but bad coffee, breakfast bars.

When Customers pay they would like clean blankets and no roaches everywhere

It’s a low cost hotel, so I should not complain too much. However, this hotel does not quite meet the minimum requirement that is cleanness.

we did not stay these days they hit our card unauthorized charges blame it on Expedia charges us an additional 332 after we checked out we are still fighting to get back plus 2 extra 82 charges. They are ghetto used wrong itenenarary place stinks like pot and wet carpet, no amenities like promised no dishes or silverware you pay for. Staff is ghetto and play dumb imagine that blame it on next person! Ive fought with Expedia, this dump and corporate for weeks no response. Don't use Expedia or this ghetto nasty dump!

Cheap rates but you get what you pay for

My friends and I traveled to Houston for a football game and picked this hotel because its within a 5 minute walk to the stadium. That's the only good part of the hotel. The room was somewhat clean however, the there was only a few squares of toilet paper left on the roll. The toilet paper holder was close to falling off the side of the vanity. My son and his friend wanted to go to the pool since it was locked with chain and padlocked. It also clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. They offer breakfast but it's only small packaged muffins and granola bars. Also, other than the stadium, there's nothing around the hotel worth doing. No bar-b-q places, no breweries or bars.

Hall ways were extremely dirty. The room toilet paper holder was about to fall off. Expedia advertised this hotel with breakfast included, however, hotel does not offer breakfast.

It may be a little older ws didnt have bugs or roaches. It is a little.outdated but we ws comfortable.

Horrible place. There was a strong smell of pot in hall way that also entered the room and gave me bad headache. The room also had some weird smell and spotted some roches in the bathroom. Had to check out 3 mights earlier due to headaches.

This property was under renovation, which was not in the listing, and unfortunately I paid for my room before i saw it. I arrived late and they did not have another room to offer me for my 5 night stay so I asked to have it cleaned the next day. When I returned in the evening it had not been done so I borrowed supplies and the vaccuum and did it myself. The advertised pool was also not available which was disappointing. It was very close to where I had to be each day and front desk person Kahlil was extremely hospitable.

Room seemed clean. But had carpet dryer on floor and blue used towels on dining table. Didnt even remove..

The building was too old , bathroom unstable, floor was dirty

My friends and I flew in for a concert stay. We were able to get an early check-in by 1pm which was appreciated. However, that night is when the issues began. We left for dinner that evening and while we were gone the hotel property staff was selling parking spots in the hotel for $20 to random people looking for parking for the event. When we returned there was no parking spots because all spaces were sold to NON-HOTEL GUESTS!!!! Guests of the hotel had absolutely no where to park. Also during the stay we noticed the cleanliness of the room was not up to par due to pills and bags found under the bed. I will say the hotel itself was in a convenient area and the deluxe room we stayed in was accommodating for our party of 3, especially for the price.

Mixed feelings about this one

The staff was super friendly, courteous and helpful. Loved talking to them. Unfortunately we stayed after they endured some damages from hurricane beryl. The room was not well lit and very outdated. The sofa bed’s mattress was old and uncomfortable. Also the top lock was broken on our door so we felt it necessary to put a chair up against the door. Overall it was ok for a one night stay.

The property is old and in disrepair. The night staff was friendly, but could not check us in properly. The weekend staff could not refund the proper amount and had to wait for the manager the next business day. The front lobby smelled and the flooring was removed and has not been reinstalled. The exterior of the property was not maintained, as the grass was knee-high and still had debris from the hurricane. The room itself was OK, but had a dirty dish rag at the sink and clothing under the bed that was not ours. There was a terrible fight on the second floor between between a couple of the guess and kept us up for hours.

Definitely not what expected

Arrived, received the key, went to the room to find it was dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned from last guests that stayed. Returned to front desk, informed them. They put me in another room but my original room I had booked was supposed to have a sofa bed. The new room didn’t and was told they didn’t have any with sofa beds available. The room had what looked like black mold in the corners of the ceiling above the bed which we discovered on our last night. That night I found a huge bug crawling on the floor and tried to exterminate it which took lots of effort bc it didn’t want to die. The lobby and halls of the hotel smelled terribly of marijuana the whole weekend we were there. All in all, I had a place for my family to lay our head and the beds were decently comfortable but I won’t be staying there again. I’ve stayed at Extended Stays before and had great experiences but this time, not so much.

Overall this was a nice stay.

Staff was friendly. No one was at the desk for about 5-10 minutes each time I visited the desk but it wasn't too long a wait and staff was extremely helpful. Room itself was nice. Found long hair in multiple places. On kitchen counter, wrapped around toilet bowl lid and multiple hairs inside of the shower tub close to the drain. Shower water was luke warm. Maybe because it was closer to checkout time. Shower tub stopper wouldn't work so you couldn't take a bath.

The good: the staff was very friendly. Check in and check out was quick and easy. You can tell the employees are trying to keep the hotel clean. Good location. The bad: the property is older, and the halls and carpeting in the room had a bad smell, partially age, partially poor ventilation. The bath towels had pulls and some were nearly threadbare. There was a roach in my bathtub.

Never again

Advertised a pool did not have an operating pool. “Free breakfast” was bad old coffee. The hotel room floor was very dirty. The locks barely worked. Would not stay here again.

Not a safe spot for women on their own. Visited the Texas Medical Center for a week while nephew was fighting for his life in the ICU at Memorial Herman. I called beforehand to check the rate for my dogs and was told $29 for 6 days but additional $50 for over 7 days. Room smelled bad. Hallway smelled bad. No hair conditioner or pots and pans. One entry and exit for the hotel was blocked by construction and jackhammering at 6:30am. Breakfast consists of oatmeal, protein bars, and muffins. The cherry on top was Khalil accusing me of not paying the pet deposit after seeing me with my pups going into my room on the last night. I walked up to the front desk and asked for a fork. Khalil said, "do you have something you want to tell me." I replied, "Jesus Loves You." Khalil replied, "I'm going to ask you again, do you have something you want to tell me." This happened 3 times. He then looks up my room number and confirmed that I paid the deposit, and proceeds to get the forks. I asked for an apology for accusing me of lying and he said, "I'm not apologizing." I was shocked. Do better Khalil, be more polite to guest overpaying at your hotel. After checking out, I was charged another pet fee after they got it wrong the first time.

Baby Roaches on walls big roaches on bed! Got Pics

We checked in and got settled in. We discovered there baby roaches climbing on the walls and cabinets. There was dead and alive roaches in the bathroom. We woke up to find 2 roaches alive on the end of our bed. There was 3 in our bags and 1 in the nightstand. The got warm and ac finally came in a We were leaving. Im a cancer patient and stayed for my hospital appointments. I deserve a full or partial refund. This is unhealthy and disgusting and extremely bad for anyone. We would if asked for refund but i wasn't feeling well after the long drive and it was late. I've stayed here before and it was ok but i wouldn't recommend it unless you check your room and bed before you go to bed.

Cash means nothing

I did not stay but I am sure you all will still charge me for it. At check in I was told I couldn't pay for my room with cash. No where during my reservation did they mention this and during other stays at other places I paid cash. Because of this, I was with my grandkids and no room after traveling 6+ hours. Man in front was not friendly at all. Very upset and they should have mentioned this.

You can tell that this is an ancient building. Everything looks drab and dingy and you can also see cracks in the walls, the elevator was loud and extremely worn with damaged floors and walls. A water leak from the bathtub into the kitchen area washed out a few dead roaches on the kitchen floor. I didn't stay after that.

The room smelled so bad like mold . Giant stain on ceiling like water damage . They do not have any ice at the hotel . I could have never stayed more than the night .

It was good for the time I was there.

Hotel has a bad smell, floors was sticky and had roaches crawling on floor and walls also woke up to a roach crawling on pillows. Not a place we will come back to.

Do not stay here

Dirty, beds uncomfortable, nothing in the kitchen, no plates, utensils, etc. had to ask and it took several hours to get. No breakfast at the hotel. No hair dryer. The knob in the shower wouldn’t stay where placed so had to take a scalding hot shower and freezing cold shower. One of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed in. We were here for a volleyball tournament and it was close to NRG but not worth it at all.

Roach infested.

If I couldn’t give a negative star I would. Roach infested. I called hotels.com twice and was told we can only move you to another room. I couldn’t cancel my trip or move to another location. I was moved to another room and there was roaches in that room also. Literally woke up to a roach on my face. Never again.

So our booking was for 3pm we didn’t get attended to until 3:30 totally unacceptable at this point than the 2 lady’s act like they couldn’t figure out how to access their own accounts to confirm my booking

Not so good.

The desk women were very nice and helpful. The hotel always smelled like Marijuana the bed was hard as a rock so bad i could barely walk the next morning. Also someone tried breaking into our vehicle while we were there.

No hot water through shower head. Smelled of cigs even though no smoking.

This hotel offers the necessities to cook your own meals and save money for other entertainment spending!!! We were able to go across Kirby street and buy some steaks and cook them ourselves since the room included full size refrigerator, sink, stove and cookware.

Not a very clean hotel. Pictures on the app are not accurate for room descriptions. There were roaches on the room. I had to change my own linen and had to go down to get dishes. No one would bring them up. Being a senior i asked for a 1st floor and was told it was too late because he had activated the 2nd floor room keys already.

Room was terrible..Air-conditioning barley worked, hallway was just nasty. I would never again book a room from this place.

Worst Extended Stay

Initial room had several roaches. Informed the front desk and they were able to move me to another room. Same issue with the second room. People had bags of trash sitting in the hallway. Had to get fresh towels from the front desk because there wasn’t any cleaning staff around. Toilet was leaking and visible mold in the bathroom.

Great service and great staff

No coffee available in morning, said there was coffee and breakfast but nothing was available. No ice machine at hotel, no blow dryer available; never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have this available. Bed was hard and place was run down. Kitchen but nothing in it to you use, found 2 plastic cups and that was was it.

Hotel was dirty the restroom has tiny cockroaches the floor our room was in they were remodeling the room in front of us & it was so hot & musty & noise bc of the dust that was there. We felt very congested. The only convenience was the NRG stadium was walking distance I mean you get what you paid for.

Too many roaches crawling everywhere and it’s no rooms available to move out of this room.

Great Stay

The room was clean, the front desk staff were had pleasant inviting attitudes. The only issue was no ice machine. I suggest they add ice cube trays to the dishwasher.

Not the best extended stay for the price.

Considering it was an extended stay I thought they would have easier access to plates and silverware but you have to go to the front and wait. The lady at the counter gave me two plates and one set of silverware. We had room temperature water in the shower and sink for the entire stay. Staff was mostly pleasant though.

It is right next to NRG as well as many hospitals. The rooms are spacious and have kitchens as well. So if you plan on staying or have to for medical or business purposes. I highly recommend. I would like to see some of their amenities improve and also a healthier breakfast option. Other than that. The staff and overall care is A . JB, Princess, Latanya have been amazingly wonderful!! love BJG

Not too bad…comfy.

The room itself was clean very clean and comfy. The lobby has a very bad odor that was not pleasant when greeted. The hallways smell like black and milds or incense. The premises were kept up well. Not too bad of a stay.

I suggest ANY other motel/hotel unless absolutely desperate. Check in staff wrre rude and short. Night staff was hospitable and accomodating. The room smelled of wet dog. I opened the window to air out and it was worse. I turned the air on and left it on. Also bought a can of smoke x and it helped.
