It felt safe and quiet

It was affordable and average. Wasn't expecting anything fancy, and didn't get anything fancy in return. Was a bit sad the continental breakfast has been discontinued permanently and this was not updated on Expedia. Room did smell pretty strongly of weed so if you have a weak nose be aware.

Overall we were happy with our stay. But I did find it strange and inconvenient that we had to leave a $50 cash deposit upon checking in and had to have a room inspection before checking out to get the deposit back.

Good people on top of it

Room was dirty, I did not want to take my shoes off. The lobby was extremely hot and person at desk spoke limited English. There is no airport shuttle as advertised. The area was sketchy with working women out and about. Awkward full sized fridge in room. The Breakfast that was offered, was dry cereal and water.

Attendant asked for a fifty dollar cash deposit... not cc... he was upset when I asked for a receipt for the cash, so he hand wrote it on my receipt from expedia... the door to the room had a lock above the handle because the handle lock did not work. The room was not swept. There was gaps in the door. And the bathroom tile floor was cracked and broken walls needed to be painted quickly... breakfast was a box of cereal you had to ask for a bowl and milk and coffee was cold... honestly seemed like a pay by hour hotel.. I have never stayed in one like this ever... i would have never taken my children to a place like this.. ferrell cat herd roaming the area living under stairs.. non smoking room definitely smoked in... people fighting in parking lot. Felt nervous all night did not sleep...

Charged a new once i got here fir deposit. Tv never worked , after paying room 13 mins past check out cause traffic getting bk due to significant other had worked over and was the one handling all the worker 33 mins after payment was due and was paid work using her key pass accessing herself into our room while we were in bed from long night

It was super dirty with a bad smell in the room, the sheets were dirty. I asked for my money to be refunded and I am still waiting for a response. I really did not like it at all.

One of the worst properties I’ve ever stayed at honestly … service is bad … breakfast is bad … room was bad … the room I stayed at (103) had plugs hanging out the walls , cabinets were broken … doors were Al colored on with random paint and there was a fruit fly infestation I told the guy who was in the front desk if I could change rooms and he denied and was also so unprofessional and kept saying the rooms didn’t have bugs even though I showed him…

Not at all as described on the website. Nothing at all remotely like it. Plug sockets hanging out of walls. Holes In the wall in the bathroom, The door, looks like it has been colored in or not painted correctly. Smoke detector hanging out of the ceiling. Dirt all over the floor. Fan in bathroom falling out of wall. NO DRAIN COVER IN THE SHOWER. It’s an electrical hazard and just disgusting

Cockroaches Everywhere

Infested with cockroaches. If it wasn’t for that it would’ve been fine for a quick trip. Service offered to switch me to a different room, which was nice, but I decided to leave.

The only thing that I can say good about this place is the price online if you go in person it's going to be a little pricey and room 205 and 209 have bad plumbing problems and they're both roach infested most of their rooms have roaches or some type of damage to the rooms and you're either going to get a room with out a coffee maker and a blow dryer or one or the other and the people at the front desk they're not very friendly they have snobby attitudes and it's like they get annoyed anytime you ask them a question and if you're lucky to get clean towels and clean bed sheets and also pillow casing that would be extremely rare because most of their towels look like they have blood stains on them they just don't look like something you would be comfortable using as well as their sheets

Too much noise upstairs

The rooms were very clean and the bed was real comfortable... But they have people with children living there ..and the children made a lot of noise throughout the night... It supposed to be a business not an apartment...

I loved this room. I'm a wheelchair user and the room was super accessible: wide door to bathroom with full tub access. Also ...loved the blue lights that ran around the room!!!!

The room was very Bad, Very strong chemical smell, broken furniture. Drap over window broken and let light into room. The room was advertised with breakfast included. only had 2 types of ceral without any bowls. had to use small Styrofoam coffee cup for the small amount of cereal i could get in. No coffee the machine not working. So basically NO Breakfast. Not recommened at all.

easy checkin. breakfast was ok. juice, cereal, toast, no fresh pastries or fruit. nothing fancy but we're not hungry. lots of airport noise and noise from the room above us. i recommend staying on the second floor if you don't mind carrying your luggage. We walked to Dennys as there weren't many dining options.

Floors were dirty not swept. Under sink in 8123 there was dirty leakage on walls as the sink leaked when turned on

Do not stay here if you’re not comfortable sleeping with roaches. Check-in was okay.. I accidentally left my ID when I checked in & front desk didn’t even bother to call me to let me know they had it. I had to go check & see if they had it. They literally had 30 other IDs in the stack with mine. I should’ve done my research & read more reviews earlier. By the time I landed & seen the reviews I wanted to cancel due to the pest problem. But it was too late to get a full refund. Manager denied my request even though they knew about the roach infestation. The towels in the room were dirty & had cigarette burns on them. The inside of the microwave was dirty. Had to kill 10 roaches through the 2 days I stayed there. It says they have a shuttle for pick-up but they don't. I had a hard time falling asleep since I knew there was a roach problem. Never staying here again. Would not recommend this motel to anyone unless it’s the last resort. The only reason why I gave a 2 star rating was because I didn’t have to pay a deposit.. which makes sense since the place is infested with roaches.

This hotel was great with accommodating me and I would consider staying here again.

There were cockroaches in the room. Also as soon as I checked in my room some man knocked on my door and yelled exterminator. Obviously he was not an exterminator. The smell of Marijuana coming from the next room was overpowering as well. I did not feel safe.safe.there at all.

I complained about bugs and they told me to leave. Since i couldn't get refunded from Expedia for 3 days i had to sleep in my truck, which was still better than that room. I will never book through Expedia again.

The bed was terrible and made a loud noise. Was afraid that it might collapse while we were on it. A outlet was sticking out of the wall. The tv was terrible and finally gave up all together. The water pressure was ok coming out of faucet but lost pressure when it went to shower head. The toilet quit working just before we left. No water in tank & wouldn’t fill up. Oh, don’t get me started on the towels.

They have a great breakfast and the check in for me was really fast even after hours. I recommend this place and staying again within my travels.

Lousy hotel, but good, well meaning people managing it.

Be aware - Don’t be deceived by the star rating. The only reason I selected this place over the others in the area was the star rating. This is probably a 2 or at most 2.5 star motel. The room had so many mosquitoes and I tried to reach the front desk many times and they never bothered to pick up the phone. There were left overs in the microwave and refrigerator. Faucet was splashing water all over. The bed was making noise with every move and at night there were strange noises similar to rodents (didn’t see any to be clear). Breakfast area had a weird smell like something was burned. I had reservation for 3 nights but had to check out based on Expedia’s recommendation after the first night but the property refused to refund me for the remaining nights. I am not going to go bankrupt with the money they kept from me but I suggest them to buy at least one more used table and a few chairs for their dining area with that money. CORRECT YOUR STAT RATING so people don’t get fooled.

The service was good the hotel room was clean well stocked and comfortable beds the hotel lobby breakfast area was adequate nothing fancy.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and quiet. Most importantly they have cameras and nothing got stolen!

it is more likely a motel, not safe, lots of cars parking, drinking & talking very loud, front desk girl not nice.

Slight roach issue at night, after showers they came out. very nice hotel tho. I go there a lot but this time i was placed in the same room with the leaky fridge-the towel was in place to catch the leak this time upon arrival to the room. it should just be replaced instead of having to use your room towel to catch the water. . staff is pleasant. area clean

This property Is great if you just plan to sleep. The facilities are run down and I only had half a coffee maker to use for my stay. The breakfast was cereal, gas station pastries, coffee, and concentrated juice.

Ummmm reconsider

I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Although the staff was nice, my room had roaches. Saw them as soon as I stepped in the door. Needless to say, I was scared about the bed having bedbugs. So I didn’t even sit down in the room let alone stay the night the whole night. If you don’t mind bugs, go for it

This place really does have LED lights in the room that I stayed in, but the main reason I came was for the pool, very disappointed when I walked in and the pool said closed and the breakfast is very bare bones limited to package food one would buy in a vending machine but overall the staff was lovely and really helped make the whole experience smooth. 👍☺️

Place is clean but old, broken, and the staff doesn't want to even check you in. The shuttle was down which is one of the reasons we picked the location. Good for one night stay only for the location.

It was very convenient to the freeway and shopping area. My dislike is that breakfast ended too early.. people are just getting up around 9:00 am for it to be over.. The female Customer service was very good. She had very nice customer service attitude.

The breakfasts were not to the standards I have previously had at other Choice properties. The smell in the corridors was putrid. Our room was OK.

I was not satisfied with my stay at the econolodge. I had spoken to a worker to see about getting my money back after the second day and they advised that we were unable to issue a refund and that they receive commission for booking through third parties. The room was not clean. The floors were dirty, we had killed a couple of bugs possibly roaches, the blankets and sheets and holes in them and at one point we came back to our room late afternoon and the beds were in made sheets thrown on our luggage which was on the floor and the blinds were open. I would stay here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

This was a VERY clean motel. The area was a bit questionable, but didn't feel unsafe. We were a bit disappointed to get a 2nd floor room when the place didn't seem full at all. Went to the pool one night, but the water looked sort of brownish. It may have been rust in the water or something, but we opted to not go in. Others were there the night before. Again, a VERY clean motel. Excellent value for the $$

Nice updates but loud A/C

It seemed the room were recently renovated because my room was very clean and everything looked new and updated (fresh paint, beautiful floors, new furniture). However not all the light switches worked and the A/C unit was the loudest of any I have ever heard. You could not watch tv and have the air conditioning on at the same time, it was extremely loud.

Close to Hobby airport. Chose location for shuttle option, but the shuttle didn't run as early as I needed.

Decent place to stay - convenient location.

Brief stay as we were traveling to another city the next morning. Contential breakfast wasn't much so we had to grab food from elsewhere. We struggled with the keylock as there was something wrong with the doorknob itself - it'd always take us a few tries to open before it'd finally open for us to enter our room.

Pretty solid hotel for the price. Has a small pool and the lobby area is rather nice.

We stayed two nights (a week apart) and each time one of the doors didn’t work. The beds were uncomfortable and the pool was disgusting. However, the staff was friendly.

The room had burn holes in all the seats there was sticky stuff on the counter, toilet, and tables, the lock didnt work on the door and the cable wasnt working either just static. I wont be going there again or recomending anyone stay there. Dont even try to call cause the staff will just hang up on you while your talking to them anywah haha.

Ok for place just to sleep

Ok room for the price. Got a room that had been remodeled. Staff very pleasant. Grounds need some work and renovation. Breakfast was just cereal and bread. Area wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t nice either. If you just need a place to sleep for the night this hotel will work. Not a vacation hotel.

The property is alright, just regular motel, but it was kinda smelly in the room that I had to spray my perfume... unfortunately still smell after a quarter bottle of my perfume’s gone...
