I stayed already many times in Evergreen Laurel Hotel and I was every time fully satisfied. Especially the friendly staff and the unique athmosphere in the Hotel makes every stay to a wonderful experience.

Since you can hear the noise from the hallway, you need to consider things like not using rooms next to each other, or changing floors. It's not good that there are no power outlets at the bedside these days. Other than that, it was very good.

Such a beautiful, old style iconic Thai royalty hotel! The staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Many speak excellent English. I was there over the Loy Krathong Festival and they taught me how to make my Krathong to float in the pool. The pool is lovely, and large enough to swim laps. The breakfast in the morning - which was included in my room rate - was delicious, varied, and so abundant. Happy Hour 2 for 1 specials made the evenings fun, and there was music in the lobby bar. The hotel is close enough to walk to the Silom Complex - a mall with many stores, eateries, etc. It’s a taxi ride to IconSiam and the waterfront. I felt safe in the neighborhood traveling by myself. I would stay again if I’m fortunate enough to go back to Thailand.

15 minutes walk to metro, no restaurants close by hotel restaurant OK. Staff very friendly & helpful. Booked as a 5* hotel expecting the WOW factor which I never got! Decorated in an original design it just needed a refresh! Gym needs updating.

The new tower is poor and the superior rooms are small and cramped. Also very noisy main road right outside the hotel

One thing I didn’t like is the laundry service and I have to call front desk to request of returning my laundry. This time the front desk staff sent the housekeeper to collect laundry instead of returning my laundry. Just don’t understand what is wrong with their system?

Well designed using the available space, almost perfect, but not enough space to hang clothes, no shelves and only short rack with 3 hangers. That is the only improvement needed in my view. I would give it 5 stars if that was improved. Easy to do, even more hangers would help

Great room. Good location.

Check in was fast and Efficient. Staff explanation was good. Room was spacious. We had booked the one bed corner suite. Good location about 10 minute walk to BTS and MRT stations. Only negative was dinner took along time to come out (nothing special) and my wife had almost finished her meal before mine came out. No explanation aa to why the delay.

Fantastic location in the heart of Bangkok. Easy to navigate to most attractions and excellent transport network. The hotel is quiet to stay in but yet a 10 minute walk to nightlife Bangkok. Great shopping and dining options on the doorstep and also within the hotel. The breakfast here is amazing. Absolutely spoilt for choice. The service provided by its staff is absolutely top notch.

A very nice hotel with wonderful staff. My room was quiet but this was probably not owed to the sound insulation but to the fact that the hotel wasn't too busy in general. The room could do with a makeover. Some of the technical equipment did not work perfectly anymore.

Older hotel that needs some updating. Carpet needs to be changed in our room.

Shower hazard

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The only reason I did not give an excellent review is that the shower temperature is impossible to regulate. It is scalding one minute and the next it is cold. I have stayed at this hotel before and this is an ongoing problem. I do hope that the management take steps to remedy this problem.

Great location and friendly staff. Had to change rooms because the first air conditioning didn’t work. The second room’s air conditioning leaked all over the bathroom and entryway. Would recommend and stay again.

An elegant old-school hotel, with very tasteful decor, accommodating staff and an outstanding Chinese restaurant. Current prices are a bargain for a prime property.

Property is old. The hardware may have been 5-stars 20 years ago, is still solid but a bit tired. Location is convenient if you can walk 5 mins, but there is nothing in the immediate neighborhood. At check-out, they wanted me to stay in the lobby until they had checked my mini-bar consumption - I refused.

Wi-Fi in the room is not functioning properly.

Closed to my friend ‘s apartment

Beautiful gem of a hotel in the heart of the financial district. We enjoyed our stay very much. Great facilities - sauna and pool to enjoy after a day of shopping! The staff responded immediately when we had a plumbing problem and were able to fix things right away, early in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel for city stays in Bangkok.

Closed to my friend’s apartment which is convenient for picking up. I didn’t like is room is not well maintained such as air-conditioner is leaking water.

We loved our stay here. It really was the staff that made it an outstanding experience. They all went out of their way to make sure our needs (and wants) were met and that we felt welcome. The room was nice and the location really convenient. We never got to us the free tuk tuk service because it was out of service or the times didn't work out but that would've been a nice perk. The gym facilities had a lot of options and the pool was nice. The only quirky thing we ran into was that there wasn't a dedicated switch for the hall and entryway light. To turn those off you also switched off the night stand light AND the switch right next to the bed, so you couldn't charge a phone or have anything plugged in over night.

If you want to explore Silom area,esp the street foods,it’s the right place to stay

From the beginning of our stay staff was amazing. The room was perfect and had all that we wanted. Breakfast everyday was our most important meal as was the start of our touring and we always had the perfect amount of options to eat plus always great food. Sad for our stay to end as enjoyed this place so much. Will be coming back here again for certain.

Heated toilet seat was a new thing for me. Always nice to have a warm bum.

I have stayed at Evergreen several times while working in Bangkok. Pros: The hotel has beautiful rooms and staff are exceptionally helpful. Nice pool and gym area. The only Con was the meals are quite expensive, but food is first class.

The hotel is conveniently located with a staff that is very professional and friendly. Breakfast is excellent with many choices of Thai and western food.

No Cnn or cnbc news on tv. Fewusa channels

A great place to stay. People are polite and available at any time. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom A really good and complete breakfast every morning. A good choice when you come to Bangkok, not so far away from the subway.

I think this property provides terrific value and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Bangkok. On the edge of the entertainment district near a MTS station, super convenient. Great staff!! Delicious and reasonable room service, very comfortable bed, great view, big room, beautiful bathroom, nice pool. Room rate was tremendous value for this older 5 star. I paid twice as much at a nearby hotel and it wasn’t nearly as good as the Evergreen Laurel. Thanks for the great stay!

Only problem is tv—-English speaking channels never worked. Repairs only lasted short time Otherwise very nice people and very large rooms for the price. Nice little pool and patio.

The staff are very accommodation and extremely helpful with directions. Every time I visit the property the manager discusses my stay and talks with me upon my checkout.

Or the quality service as always, maintaining the quality of five-star hotels. There is no decline in the service level due to the reduction of accommodation guests during the pandemic. In the future, we will always choose the hotel for accommodation!

Excellent value Excellant Hotel

I TRUELY beautiful hotel with a heritage feel. Fantastic value for money in these very difficult times for hotels. I cannot find fault with the staff service and excellent food. The facilities are perfect and the hotel is walking distance to 2 shopping malls and the Bar Areas

While it says it is a 5 star hotel we were disappointed with the state of our room, and we booked one of the best in the hotel....the carpet in the living room was stained and the hotel restricted the variance for climate control to a low of 23 degrees centigrade. The water pressure in the hot tub was only a dribble even though the sinks and separate shower had plenty of pressure. Even after I asked the maintenance crew to resolve the issue, the water pressure and volume never increased dramatically. The staff were excellent and very accommodating to any and all requests, and were willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had everything we wanted. The breakfast was disappointing, asked for eggs one way, received them the opposite....I will chalk that up to a language barrier although all staff spoke English well. I know this is a small item, but these things shouldn't occur at a 5 star hotel in my opinion. The location was great, and the hotel itself is beautiful.

Great base for exploring Bangkok - short walk to the Skytrain. Incredibly helpful staff and good to see everyone being temperature checked when coming back into the hotel during the current COVID concerns.

Underwhelming

I had a spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast was good and service was welcoming.

Terrible Wifi

Lots of construction in lobby and wifi is terrible. Did not work most of the time.

Room was great as we got an upgrade to corner suite. room amenities could improve s bit. No hair conditioning. There was an Illy coffee Machine in the room, but there were no Illy capsules. Service is generally good.

Evergreen is a very good hotel in Bangkok. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Everything very clean and a really good breakfast. It was not my firs stay there and I always feel like coming home.

Great Breakfast. Good Hotel...

The Hotel is currently undergoing major renovations...so the pic you show...is now out-of-date. The area no longer exists. Despite this the property is clean and efficient. The staff speak English. They're friendly and helpful. The Breakfast offers plenty of choice, and is excellent. The hotel is well located...away from the hustle of the inner city, but within easy walking distance to major attractions.

Excellent hotel, service, and location

From check-in through arranging for taxis to breakfasts, massages, and checkout, our stay was amazing. The only (minor) complaint was the inability to lower air conditioning to a more comfortable range. It was programmed for 23-26 C, but that is definitely a "first-world" complaint. The hotel is located in what I describe as the embassy district, close to Saudi Arabia, Mynamar, and Oman embassies, which makes it a very clean, quiet, and safe place to walk from the train station to the hotel at 11:00pm.

Nice, comfy hotel

Comfortable hotel with great breakfast, good location, just a short walk to the metro, air-conditioning was an bit noisy and leaked through the ceiling at some point but generally a good stay. The lobby is being refurbished, room view is probably better from a corner room.

Attractive lobby. Room a little tired, especially the grubbby carpet. I had booked for two nights and subsequently booked five nights ten days earlier than original booking. Hotel refused refund on first booking. Would never stay at any of their hotels again.

Very good service, very clean comfortable room and good location

I had previously booked two nights accommodation at hotel. Subsequently I booked 5 nights at hotel not including my original booking. I expected a refund of first booking but because it was of a 'non refundable' price my refund was refused. I think that my having booked extra nights that the hotel was ethically bound to comply with my request. They had more than one weeks notice of the cancellation. Would not use then again. Also the carpet in my room was grubby.

Very good value for the money. Great breakfast. Stains on light colored carpet in room was not appealing. Just changing carpet in room will make a huge difference

The hotel is lovely. It is within walking distance to the sky train. From there you can go anywhere. There is a big variety of breakfast foods.

Hotel was situated in a great location. Walking distance to Sky train and near various restaurants. The staff was exceptional. We arrived very early in the morning and they had our room ready by 10:00 AM. The also have a wonderful buffet breakfast.
