Eurostars is a bright and cheerful hotel with only a 300 meter walk to Munich Central train station along with all the other convenient transportation options (trams, buses etc). We love the adventure and literature themed decor. The staff was helpful and friendly. The beds very comfortable and the shower with its rain head very refreshing and invigorating in the morning. Thanks especially to Marina at the front desk who checked us in. We will gladly return again and again.

The property itself feels new and modern which we like. When we checked in the Spanish reception staff were very nice and helpful. We were allowed to check in 2 hours early and we were pleasantly surprised when we were given a king size bed after I requested that they give us a double bed. The room was spotless and our cleaning lady was very kind too. The furnishings and the whole room was very modern but homey and we slept really well.my husband and I loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. If we are ever back in Munich we will stay in this hotel again.

Not actually a bad property - well located for the HBF, though the area itself is quite rundown (like most big European cities, close to a main station), but what annoyed was the cleaning staff being so loud early in the morning. It's basic hotel etiquette, that when guests have paid a lot of money to stay somewhere that they're allowed to rest. Guy at the front desk with the alice band was very smiley and helpful

Clean comfortable hotel and good location

This hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay in Munich. It is close to the train station but not too close. It’s an easy 25 minute walk to Marianplatz and other tourist attractions. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were very helpful and accommodating. Always love having a mini fridge that is actually cold to store my own waters and sodas! My only complaint is when people let their doors slam or rattles the whole room and bed. It would be great if they could install the soft close doors hinges because it really was a jarring way to wake up.

Good hotel in the sense of room standard, comfy bed, good housekeeping and great breakfast. 5/7 mins from Munich Hbf and 15 min stroll to Old Town. Surrounding area is not great albeit not unsafe, so options at night near the hotel as limited, but if you want to use as a base for venturing outside Munich (used train for days in Nurmburg and Salzburg) then hard to fault in the round. If i was travelling back to Munich i would have no hesitation about staying here again.

Great choice for a quick visit to Munich

We only had two days, and the hotel was perfect for us. It was close to the central station and old town.

Enjoyed our stay at Eurostars Book Hotel! Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was good also.

The room we had was really clean and did the job for three nights. The staff is great. Overall I felt alright walking to the station with my wife, but a single woman should not walk this area after dark.

Modern, clean hotel, 10-20 mins from the centre so walkable, 5 mins from the Hauptbahnhof. What stood out for us is decent hairdryer in the room, hot, powerful shower, good mirrors & lighting, sockets actually by the mirrors, very comfy bed, small bar in reception with great range of cocktails & a gym. Hotel is Spanish so most of the staff are Spanish and extremely friendly too. Breakfast very good and i had a pretzel daily! Enjoyed eateries like Mia for dinner and cocktails and Muncher Stubn nearby for a beer and snack! If you were to pick fault, the gym could do with some functioning air con and another running machine and being modern it doesnt have that cosy feel, but that said the lighting in the room was well done to make it feel more cosy. There were lots of hotels nearby in the area too we spotted. If you want more central to Marienplatz or traditional go for something else

Very nice hotel near the train station. If you like middle eastern food, that’s all you will see for blocks. I had a good doner kebab. Not too far of a walk from the old town. Construction across the street from my room was a bit noisy.

This hotel felt like a 5 star hotel, comfortable bed, clean big bathroom very modern. Have a tea, coffee maker in room, safe, mini bar. Great wifi, service excellent. Location is very diverse a lot of arab restaurants, close to major transportation.

Employees were very helpful, front desk were polite and knowledgeable. Rosalia thank you for all your time and positive energy at all times was needed.

Close to the train station & walkable to landmarks

We were well received and given a fairly large single room. Suite was modern, in good condition, with a well designed and supplied bathroom (clean towels daily). Building has a smallish gym and a nice sauna area. Restaurant/breakfast room was spacious and staff made good efforts to fulfill our requests. Breakfast buffet had many options and was well supplied. The building experienced a couple of operational incidents during our stay (hot water out, minor kitchen fire) but they were remediated promptly. Aside from the unavoidable police/ambulance sirens, the building was quiet.

Great location close to the main train station in Munich. We also got the breakfast each morning. Would highly recommend it as it was very familiar to us, as Americans, and a great way to start the day. Staff were helpful and friendly. Not sure why people think it is unsafe. I travel a lot and it is similar to a lot of large cities. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Eurostar Book. The staff were extremely helpful during check in and throughout our stay. The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the train station, less than 10 minutes to the Oktoberfest fairgrounds, 15 min walk to the Marienplatz. The Oktoberfest parade passes right by the hotel. Lots of good restaurants and bars around the hotel. Room was modern, clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend.

Excellent decoration about the books, the quality of the personnal higiene products is very good. The customer service is exceptional at the front desk. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Amazing staff

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, it seemed like they actually enjoyed helping you. I’ve been travel for weeks with my toddler, staying at all higher end hotels and the service was the best by far at this one. The location was great, SO close to main train station to get wherever you need to go. There’s plenty of things in walking distance as well. I would stay here again!

Nice property for a basic 4 stars hotel. Location is good, next to the train station though because it is next to the train station it is not as clean and nice as closer to the center. That said easy and convenient location to get every where in town. Staff was great and so was breakfast.

Good and clean hotel

Places near the train station in Munich can be complicated. This place is an oasis in the area. The air conditioning in the room was great (which is a lot to say by German standards). The breakfast was great. The room was relatively quiet (considering the hotel is in a main street) and reasonable aesthetics. And a plus, Alexis at the reception was Excellent. Great person and very helpful.

Convenient and clean with tiny gym

This is a very comfortable, clean, and convenient mid-range hotel, good for business or family travel, but it is not a four-star hotel in quality or service. Pros: Convenient location near train station. Staff is friendly and had extra amenities like adaptors on request. Clean, comfortable beds, and air conditioned. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegetarian options. Nice bathing amenities (great shower gel, toothbrush). Cons: Gym is too small and needs yoga mats, and sauna is not on early in the morning (before 9am), so if you workout early to avoid crowding you can’t use the sauna. TV is small with limited options. Doesn’t have the extra special hospitality, decor, or amenities to rank as a four-star hotel.

The hotel itself was excellent, with good service, excellent breakfast, clean and efficient rooms. It's location very near the main train station is very convenient for travelers but also brings with it some unseemly transient population that make some of the surrounding areas dirty and noisy.

Nice place and people

Room was clean and staf was nice. Lobby was small but cute. Close to coffee and train station. Asked for high room, attached/next to others in our group and to check in early and we got none of what we asked for. Hallway had painters tape up for our entire stay. Room was ok but nothing special and had damaged floor boards. Lobby had bar but took more tha 3 requests to get order. Water avaliable some times and saw apples one day but one was rotten.

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great location. Area a little noisy and full of construction all around the hotel area.

The property is nice, clean, and rooms are spacious. The area around it has a lot of construction around it which takes away from it somewhat. The walk to Old Town Square isn’t terrible, about 20 minutes.

It was not what I expected coming from an Eurostar hotel

The hotel is within walking distance of the central train station. Restaurants and Marianplatz are a little further away but still within walking distance. The breakfast is good and our room was large and comfortable.

A good hotel 8/10

This hotel was a good choice , best thing was the cool air conditioning , the non carpet floor , and the reception was really helpful . The room was little tiny , no separation between the room and the wash room , only a transparent glass . There was daily cleaning , but some of the staff were forgetting to replace the towels , then we had to ask the reception for replacement . Taxis were always available in front of the hotel . Hotels location was good , in quite area , but we had to walk for 20 minutes to reach the marin platz ,which was not convenient for my wife which had some back problems .

Close to the sites

Close to bus station and the sites around Marianplatz. The hotel was clean, the showers were awesome, and the buffet breakfast had a lot of options that were well prepared. A little caution would go a long way in the general vicinity of the hotel. It didn't seem unsafe, but there were some questionable characters around at night.

Room not available at 2pm for check in. Checked in 30+ minutes after 2pm checking time and I had already been waiting since 1pm with a 4 year old. Staff were really nice though.

Love the book them and the modern vibe

The property was conveniently located, about 15-20mins walk from Marienplatz. However there were limited dining options in the immediate area except a lot of kebab shops on the road. Lidl over the road but closed on Sundays and public holidays. Hotel is clean and smart, except some damage to skirting board in the room. It’s a shame the hotel did not provide information on the hotel or area, for example there was a sauna and fitness centre but we didn’t know how to access, the cost etc. Also there was a mini bar but no prices, and tea/coffee was not refilled each day. Nice enough hotel but not quite what I expect for 4* in my personal opinion.

Excellent, few steps to metro, tram and train, 15min walk to city center, excellent breakfast, great staff, clean, comfy beds, big room, the area is not as nice to the city center, but is safe and a lot of supermarkets, and conveniently located. Tip: you can use the metro, tram or bus for short trips ticket takes you mostly for all the attractions for half the cost (max 4 stops).
