Lousy hotel

Quite a lousy hotel. The lobby almost no aircon, very stuffy. The wifi sometimes have connection, sometimes no connection. The breakfast has limited choices, there's no swimming pool. The lift cannot press, need to trial and error, see luck. Also don't know where's the exit and entrance as the roads were blocked. The staff also serving with an attitude.

NOT UP TO EXPECTATIONS

Compared to our stay last year, noticed that conditions & service was slacking and bad. Toilet bowl & basin choked, lights not working (flickering) in rooms & living room, 1 of the unit air-con not cold even after servicing (rooms should be checked that it's in good working condition before check-in), no air-con at lobby, wifi connection bad as get disconnected every now & then and need to re-login after leaving & coming back to the room, confusion during check-in, had 2 units 2 bedrooms but was only given 1 unit. Told staff to look at the print-out of my booking which was handed over to her but she could not find it and claimed I did not give to her (told her there were 2 print-out as there was an additional deluxe room booked) and eventually found it in the thrash can as she had thrown it away even before my check-in process was completed). However, the FOM was helpful and apologetic and was told there is a recent change in management and hopefully they can eventually resolve all issues and improve. Breakfast spread limited and lousy, coffee machine too slow and seem lots of things need to be replaced/repaired. Parking fee supposed to be included in booking but due to change in management were charged a fee for daily parking as was told parking not within the jurisdiction of the management.

Overall ok just that far apart from Jonker Walk.

For the price nothing much to complain. Just that the drainage has a foul smell in one of the Rooms.

Smooth check-in and check-out..room is clean but no plastic for dustbin..aircond, tv, bidet, plug points all good condition..the price for room and breakfast is too pricey for 3 star hotel and have to walk to Hatten Hotel for having breakfast. Strategic location for shopping, tourist attractions and meals.

A 3D2N holiday stay with my wife at Estadia Hotel was an average satisfaction with this property. Things were alright, just that some maintenance was not put in place where 1 of the bedside light bulb was not able to light up, the 'emergency' torchlight battery was flat, ... Very little walking space in the bedroom as well as inside the toilet. Last but not least, the hotel lobby at the ground floor (1st floor) that is leading to the Hatten Hotel was very warm without the 'AirCon' turned on....

It was clean, safe, and right by the coach parking so you don’t need a grab to get to your Singapore coach. There was 7-eleven nearby. The historical places and Melaka river were in a walkable distance (around 15 mins). There are a few shopping malls nearby. I just didn’t like the breakfast service - very crowded with people (I had to queue) and food options not satisfying.

Very nice stay. Eventhough the hotel seems a bit dated.

Convenient location to shopping, massage and food. But shops at level 2 and 3 are all closed. Level 2 is inaccessible to the hotel, management should have blocked off that area.

Dining was not available on-site. To access breakfast at Hattan Hotels Chatterz buffet service, have to find your way thru a maze of elevators and car park. if you have chemical sensitivity, this property is not for you. Hallways & main areas such as check-in smell overly of a fragrant. It stinks. This place needs an upgrade.

Nice room!

The bedroom wall/door maybe too thin,because we can hear the next room guest snoring and what they were talking.

The deluxe suite at Estadia hotel is tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Large bathrooms. Good facilities. Overall clean. Good customer service. However, we suspect that the carpet was not vacuumed (alter last occupants) and had hair on the floor all over (the only regret). We enjoyed our stay there and hopefully the hotel will look into improvement in this area.

Hotel location is very central and within walking distance to shops and shopping malls.

There were a few broken items like tap, drainage choked but were fixed after we reported it. The included breakfast was not available at the hotel, we have to walk a distant to Haten Hotel for the breakfast, the breakfast buffet was value for money though.

excellent service. Arrived at hotel earlier by one and half hours. The staff on duty at reception counter alowed me to check in early without any delay. They are very polite and helpful. During check out they allowed me two hours late. Location of hotel five minutes walk to Shopping Mall and food courts. Very convenient to get taxi just door step of the hotel.

Overall is ok but the room not clean,so dusty over side window area when you roll up curtains. Need improvement for cleaning.

Check-in was easily done at the reception on the 3rd floor. Parking can be done on the 4th to 6th floor. The access to Estadia can only be via Hatten hotel after 10pm. Accessibility to Estadia was a 10mins walk due to various walkways being closed. Hope that it will be opened later on. The room was quite a good size. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was as described.

Some issues with the rooms like safe was locked, water tap broken and drainage choked. The breakfast was value for money.

all the shower rooms in the toilets are chocked. the hotel looks old with no shops and no food. breakfast is only available at the hotel next door. over all it's clean and the beds were comfortable

Very valued for many stay at the 2 bedroom deluxe suite, place is rather well maintained and clean, however, we do realise that the hotel feels like it have aged a bit, with the finishing of the bathroom to be improved as the water get stuck at the shower stall due to the flooring for water drainage not done properly in the room I staying. Wifi was really bad and when we feedback to the hotel, they say they have some issue with their wifi. As I drove there, it was easy to park as the parking is the same as Hatten Hotel and is complimentary once you give the front desk your TNG card. Good location, walking distance to many amenities and food, good size room. Will definitely consider to stay here again if I am coming with my extended family again. However, do hope the shopping in the area will come back to live as the connected shopping areas at Hatten's property itself is almost totally bare and vacant with all shops' shutter closed.

The hotel room very clean and staffs are friendly.But the toilet condition is very old. Feel very disappointed due to no swimming pool. The hotel directly link with Pahlawan shopping. Can see all the stall from hotel to shopping are closed up. The only nearest shopping mall is Parkson.

I have a pleasant stay in the hotel but theres a few things that make me and my family feel so inconvenient. 1) The proceess to pay the hotel room. I understand the idea of cashless is good but at the same time its hard for me without credit card as i prefer to have cash when on oversea 2) The breakfast. No complain about the food but to going to the next hotel is so inconvenient. I and family need to take the link lift at the carpark. Most of my family is having knee issue and hard for them to walk there. Afterall i like the design of the hotel. Hope the hotel can improve on this.

Room itself is very unique with peranakan theme and good for family of 4 ppls

GOOD BUT NEED UPGRADING

Overall the stay was good except there was issues with the key card when using the lift as many times unable to press the floor level as the sensor not working well. Also there was no aircon at the ground level and air very hot and stuffy whilst waiting for lift and our other family members. The breakfast was good and value for money.

They have switched off aircon at Hotel Lobby to conserve operating costs(?)

A hotel with a small Coach station.

We had a pleasant stay at Estadia without any fuss. But I still noticed that most fittings like furnitures, bathroom fixtures and tv set need much revamp if possible. Overall I will rate it a 7 out of 10.

The location is really convenient. The breakfast provided by Hatten Hotel is really nice. The hotel staff is friendly. However, the hotel is really dirty. I found a cockroach 5 mins after I stepped into my room and we had to change to a new one, but the new one has tissue papers below the bed. Never book this if you are a light sleeper. It has the worst soundproof ever. We can clearly hear what my neighbours were talking.

As the building is going through an upgrade, it was a little inconvenient to cross over for breakfast buffet and the lobby was a little stuffy as well.

Parking at Hatten Hotel. We drove round and round trying to locate the hotel as the lane toward to hotel is not very visible. Good location but sad to see that the shop spaces were all empty at Estadia

Over the months, the restaurant at the hotel itseif still did not open, needed to walk over to their sister's hotel at Hatten for breakfast. The walkway from carpark to hotel check in is still very dark and warm with no ventilation and eerie, this need to be improve immediately. Finally, there were too dusty for all desks in the room, house keeping standard too poor.

The hotel is nice and clean. However the surrounding building too quiet and shops closed, feel like a ghost building. anyway the condition of the hotel is nice . Good price

Room is spacious. Buffet breakfast spread is satisfactory but can better. Would even be better if its at ESTADIA itself rather than to go to HATTEN Hotel. Sofa is dusty. Bidet is leaking and safe box for both rooms unable to use. Hotel is quiet not many guess even though its weekend.Musty smell in one of the bathroom needs to be looked at. In general stay is acceptable considering proximity to shopping malls and the room size.

Thin walls - I can hear the toddler screaming and crying in the mornings and evenings. Thank God these next door inhabitants checked out earlier. Breakfast provided at Hatten Hotel where there are many people queueing up to get in. Food that is finished (e.g. Roti Prata) is not replenished. The staff only replenished selected items, so the food diversity is poor. But this hotel is conveniently located to the malls and the neighbourhood apart from noisy guests next door is generally quiet. I feel safe in the area. So this hotel is good for short stays and if you prefer to eat breakfast outside. It could just be my bad luck for next door guests where parents ignore their screaming/crying kids.

The only issue was the door lock didn't function well due to being out of battery. But staff could fix it quickly.

Although toilet small but the the shower water is strong and good, at least room carpet is clean and prompt service from staff. Except when take lift from carpark walk to hotel reception it’s very quiet and secluded as all the shops closed down

The parking for the hotel is quite far and inconvenience for elderly since you have to walk far and change lift. But a lot of parking available.

The drainage of the shower room was terrible. The whole bathroom got soaked in water after taking a shower.

The property need a little upgrade. We booked a suite for a family of 4. The tap in the utility area was leaking and when we came back to the room, part of the carpet was wet!

Once you open the door, there is a big brown stain on the carpet. Then there is garbage on the table beside the sofa and a lot of dust on it. The carpet is dirty. Luckily the beds and bathrooms were acceptable. Need some remodeling soon.

Friendly staff. A pity many shops still shut. Hopefully the cafe will open soon. Nevertheless we had a great time.

Hotel located at Great location

Room is huge and hotel location is great.

The master bed room's toilet is not clean, we have requested the clean, but it's same when we come back in the 2nd day. Lack of manpower at reception, need to wait even as always one person at reception. Hope can add more manpower at reception desk especially in the morning time. The location is good and easy to access the tourist attractions and the local food store.

Overall the experience with Estadia hotel were good. Service and location were fantastic as its centralised to most of the attraction and place to shop However, hope to see more improvements of their maintenance of the rooms . Could see wallpapers peeling, bedsheets with slight stains and poor signal for both the WiFi and television. With all that say, breakfast was good as the breakfast was at Hatten Hotel which serve breakfast buffet.

Very conveniently located, right where buses will stop (707’s terminal), mega malls & many restaurants nearby. A very short Grab ride to Jonker. Room: clean & neat Staff: ok Wifi: weak, intermittent, terrible. So end up better off using own network.

The family room I stayed in was big and spacious, but hotel is a little dated.

Good location in the centre of the city surrounded with many eateries and shopping malls. Walking distance to Jonker street. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby is on 3rd floor, a little bit inconvenient but overall is great, definitely will come back. Highly recommended.

Rooms are a great size but the state of the rooms are fast deteriorating. Aircon control falling off the wall, toilet tiles are turning color, curtains are torn, walls are cracked. The rooms need a fresh makeover

The faucet in the bathroom was not fixed completely, and there were a lot of splashes every time I used it.

Enjoyed our stay in Estadia as we booked the Suite which was very clean and spacious!

Housekeeping need to improve. Facilities need to upkeep (Gym electronic counters 80% not working, the machines still usable)

3/5 for Staff as the staff attended to me was not flexible. We are tourists and did not have any cashless mode of payment for the tourism tax - insisted on paying via card. Management should have an alternative if guest does not have cashless payment.

You get what you paid for. Due to the many shops’ closure from the pandemic, this hotel is a ghost town. For buffet breakfast, we had to go over to their sister hotel (Hatten Hotel) as the restaurants are not opened.

The fridge in the room didn't work well, and there was no stencil provided.

Front desk excellent. Rooms dirty.

Dust all over the all the window sills and behind curtains. Obviously it was not cleaned. Leftover food stains in fridge. Both bathroom ceiling was water sogged and leaking. It seems like the hotel is struggling to keep up. Aircon and bedding was ok.

It could be nicer if there was a spoon for a tea set in the room. The fridge didn't work.

Dirty and disappointing

We tried our best with this hotel but in the end checked out a day early and booked another hotel. The room was poorly maintained: hair on the floor, thick dust and an old sun glassess left behind the curtains, the inner curtain was badly ripped, the shower didn't drain properly so flooded every shower we had, the toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom floor had hair on it. The first morning we woke up our room stunk of smoke, which to be fair wasn't the fault of the hotel, but it made for a bad start to our day. The hotel doesn't have breakfast facilities and the gym was ultra basic. One positive is the location as everything was within walking distance. I'm sure at some point this was a decent hotel but unfortunately it was so bad we regretted not going somewhere else immediately as we found a considerably better hotel for a similar price.

Wished that business would go back to normal. Hotel still rather quiet. Stayed here 3 times in a row for my Malacca trips. Love the location and family rooms. Need some sprucing up and minor mai tenance.

Safebox in room was missing. Spoke to front desk at about 1430hr who said will get a safebox done, as such left 2passports for safe keeping. Back at 530pm still nothing done yet, eventually security got a box fixed.

A bit pricy for the conditions and facilities.

from carpark lift level 3 to lobby that corridor is dark. The last visit was dark too. Seems like they don't bother to turn on the lights. Feel a bit spooky at night. the room was small. Despite requesting double bed during checked in, all 5 rooms are twin bed. no breakfast at the premises, you have to go next building. The phone not working, we found out on last day it was plugged out. Toilet no ventilation fan.

Disappointed, breakfast was no longer available. The cafe was closed. Estadia used to be my choice hotel. Really need to consider before making my next booking

Location, cleanliness and friendly staff. If the number of lifts for Car Park access could be increased at least by one, it would be great. Currently, only two lifts serve Car Park access.
