Wonderful place to go. Amazing food; great staff.

It was a lovely welcome , the staff were friendly , always smiling and really happy which made us happy. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t need to push our luggage as there was a concierge to help us. We were welcome with a buggy ride up to the entrance which really made us feel special and greeted with a cold plate as we got in late and dinner had finished which was considerate of them. By the time we arrived to our room, the luggage was inside. The staff were always kind and asked if we were enjoying ourselves. The atmosphere was great, and calm even with families which was really appreciated . The scenery was lovely. We got given water melon and cold towels if we stayed over during the day rather than going out. The first room we stayed in was split level which we found interesting, the adults had their own private space therefore which was nice and cosy. There was a smaller pool where we stayed. We booked late and had to move rooms so stayed in this room for 2 days. They made the transition between rooms really easy and helped us with our luggage. Food was good. The snack/lunch at the bar was great and not too pricy. Loved the club ssndwich. Things to improve : Possibly the main pool where the kids are could do with more shading as it got very hot at the main pool. Drinks could be in a larger cup as we were given small tumblers and too much ice so that didn’t feel like we were getting a proper drink. Night entertainment could be planned a bit better

Excellent Resort

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Esperides in Crete, and I can confidently say it is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. The hotel, or better yet the resort has everything you need. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The village area is very nice and full of restaurants.

Lovely resort. Helpful and friendly staff, great rooms and overall facilities. I also had a spa treatment that was outstanding. We were grateful for the late check out and that the additional cost also included lunch. Can't wait to stay again!

Ίσως το πιο καθαρό και ωραίο 5 αστέρια ξενοδοχείο που έχω μείνει , το προσωπικό πάρα πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό, κάναμε αναβάθμιση στο δωμάτιο και μείναμε στο δωμάτιο με το τζακουζι στο μπαλκόνι, πιστεύω καλύτερη επιλογή και από το δωμάτιο με την πισίνα, ο μπουφές για το πρωινό και το βραδινό ήταν πάρα πολύ νόστιμος. Στα θετικά επίσης το άνετο πάρκινγκ , η καθημερινή αλλαγή εκτός των πετσετών , των σεντονιων και ο καθαρισμός του τζακουζι Τα λίγα αρνητικά είναι , ότι ο μπουφές ήταν νόστιμος αλλά με λίγες επιλογές όμως , το μέτριο WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους του ξενοδοχείου και η μη επιλογή για all inclusive

Amazing stay!!! Would highly recommend

Wonderful relaxing stay. Everything was amazing! I would stay here again without hesitation. Only suggestion would be to offer free water with meals and maybe free soft drinks. I understand alcohol cannot be offered free but at least water? The hotel is settled in a small town that is walkable right outside the main gates. Lots of restaurants and cute shops. Not far from main town Heraklion (25 min drive) and also close to airport (20 min). Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pools were heated which was a lovely surprise. Very relaxing and peaceful

a waste of money-Not a 5* hotel, food was bad.

even though the dining staff was nice, the food was horrible! we as a family ended up eating just the sweet/dessert but it was still bad, not much choices, even though we had 1/2 stay, we ended up eating out & willing to spend in restaurant than to eat there. This place is not a 5* hotel is more like a 3.5*

Amazing friendly staff felt like family. The resort rooms are very well maintained and the cleaning is top! One of the best resort experiences.

Its vicinity minutes in most cases to the area’s activities and restaurants although their spreads and food choices at the resort were excellent too. The staff were excellent. Cleanliness of all areas. Lastly, the locals are just wonderful.

Lots of shopping and Dining close by. Staff were excellent.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional. We had half board and the food was delicious and had plenty of variety.

Very nice hotel with just a few touches that could make it so much better! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble - rooms under restaurant could get a little loud at times

Superschöne familiäre Anlage

Wir waren im August 2021 dort. Das Hotel ist sehr schön! Ich kann mich hier in vielen Details ergehen aber wenn ich ein Herausstellungsmerkmal nennen sollte, dann ist das die dorfähnliche Anlage, bei der man sich sehr familiär aufgehoben fühlt. Ganz anders als in einem grossen Kasten von Hotel mit 2000 Betten. Das ist das wirklich schöne! Alles Andere ist gut bis sehr gut!

The resort is well situated and the entire staff was awesome. A short walk or quad ride from the beaches. The town outside the Resort is full of pleasant shops and restaurants. Perfect for an evening walk. Perfect place stay and enjoy a vacation with the family.

New hotel, great location, friendly staff

Hotel is in a great location, 10 mins to the beach and less than 1 minute to local restaurants, tour booking office and mini market. Complex is new and looks modern. We had some issues on check in as initially we were allocated 1 bed apartment instead of 2 bedroom which we had booked. Hotel manager sorted it out by giving us 2 x 1 bedroom rooms, free meal and one of the rooms was honeymoon suite which was a nice touch. Great location, breakfast is decent (great fresh lemon juice for breakfast) and staff are all friendly and helpful

We had an extremely stressful stay, where we were so unhappy, we checked out several days early on 4 June. Having recently married in April, we chose a 4 star resort because this was to be our honeymoon and we expected comfort and luxury. We selected a maisonette with balcony when booking. Our maisonette was dark and cramped, with no privacy, on a busy street. The bedroom was upstairs, with bathroom downstairs – so annoying when you need the bathroom in the night. The balcony was tiny, without a proper door. It had no privacy, as it overlooked the other maisonettes. Only a small ledge for drinks and no room for a table. The only other outdoor seating area was a narrow terrace at the front door, unpleasant to use, next to the road with passers-by constantly looking in on us and a heavy volume of noisy traffic and petrol fumes. The pool area lacked privacy as staff continually used it as a shortcut! We were informed that an ‘upgrade’ would cost an additional 20 Euros per night but felt we had already paid over the odds. We were next door to a sports bar, with loud music continuing into the early hours, preventing sleep. We had an upsetting incident with an extremely rude waiter for which the manager apologised and sent wine and fruit to us, but then effectively undid the apology by allowing the same waiter to walk past our door using the ‘shortcut’ to the restaurant. Because of all this, we do not believe this accommodation merits 4 stars or the £800 we spent on it.

Amazing hotel, excellent amenities, great location

The stay was great. Was offered a private pool on arrival which we upgraded too! The breakfast and food was excellent quality and range to choose from. The local area has some of the best restaurants in town! It has recently been renovated and everything is up to date. However the down side was the poor quality bedding, no fitted sheets and every night my wife and I became tangled in a hideous mess of uncomfort and on top of the mattress.

Great villa we booked a junior Suite with a private pool, we wanted a relaxing holiday and got just that

Hotel in need of renovation.

This is a really old hotel that looks nice only in the pictures. Swimming pool is too small as a amount the beds around for amount of people that live in hotel. I have never seen such an old entrance door that is devided in two pieces and lokks really silly. HOtel is far away from main street so you need a car or otherthise walking distance is quite long. Noise from the big flyers in the trees wake me up in the morning.

Wonderful stay in an adyllic location

We have just returned from a 9 day family holiday at the Esperides Villas Hotel. This is a family run hotel and is very friendly. The location is fantastic !! It is right on the edge of a traditional village which has all the amenities you need... plenty of welcoming shops, bars and restaurants. The closest small supermarket is literally about 20m away from the entrance and sells lovely fresh bread daily. It's open early till late so is very convenient. Our apartment was near the road but that wasn't a problem. The view from our veranda was spectular, we could see the sea. For younger children there was a small pool and then a larger pool for older children/adults. The only downside of this was that the larger pool only had a small area where you could touch the bottom, so for any weak swimmers this might be an issue. However, the pool area was spotlessly clean with plenty of sunbeds. We never had to reserve beds, despite it being high season, there were always beds available. It was always very clean and it was handy having the pool bar available for drinks, ice-cream and snacks. About 1km walk down the hill from the hotel is "Star Beach" complex which you can go in for free. It has 6 huge water slides and for 8 euros for the day you can go on them as often as you want !! There is also a lazy river, with swim up bar which is free and you can hire sunbeds/umbrellas. There are also a few bars/restaurants to eat here too and for the more adventurous a Bungee Jump !! About 1.5km in the opposite direction you can walk down to Hersonissos harbour which is well worth a visit. From here there are boat trips available and also many restaurants line the beach. Beautiful at sunset !! Overall we had a wonderful time and I can highly recommend this. If you are looking for luxurious then this is not the place, but if you want somewhere traditional which is very friendly this is perfect !! I would definitely stay here again !!!

superfreundliches Personal, tolle Anlage und mehrere Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar

Great stay, lovely place and room was great. The only thing we did not like was a cat in the dining area every night. Apparently it lives there. Crete is full of cats and normally we did not mind but the cat kept on jumping on peoples laps trying to get food.

Das Hotel verfügt über zwei Pools: Einen großen ganz oben am Hang mit entsprechend tollem Blick, einer Poolbar und einem Kleinkindbereich und einen kleineren weiter unten in der Anlage. Dieser ist als „Quiet Zone - Adults Only“ ausgewiesen. Als Alleinreisender habe ich die Ruhe dort sehr genossen. Der Service und die Herzlichkeit aller Mitarbeitenden waren großartig. Es gibt ein Büffetrestaurant für Halbpension (keine kulinarischen Höhenflüge, aber durchweg lecker) und ein A la carte-Restaurant auf dem „Oberdeck“ mit spektakulärem Blick. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke sind für ein Hotel dieser Klasse recht fair. Die Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich in Ausstattung und Lage. Generell bieten die Terrassen und privaten Pools keine Privatsphäre; sie sind alle mehr oder minder einsehbar. Ich halte das nicht für ein Problem, aber man sollte es vorab wissen. Die Lage des Zimmers ist aber zweitrangig, da man die sehr schönen öffentlichen Bereiche nutzen kann. Wer frühzeitig bucht, kann wohl Wünsche äußern. In den Ort läuft man knapp 20 Minuten, allerdings ist es dort schon sehr touristisch - nicht mein Fall. Ich werde nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.

Bel hôtel au milieu d un village 👍

Hôtel et personnel rien à dire, au top ! Le buffet pas terrible gustativement. Prévoir une location de véhicule (voiture, scooter, quad...) A 30 mn à pied de la plage (5 mn en voiture) 2 piscines (une petite et une moyenne) Tous le confort y est autour des piscines. Les soins (spa, massage, hammam..) en supplément et un peu excessifs. Aucune animation (séjour en avril) Attention au choix des chambres, j ai réservé une chambre vue mer, et la mer est en 3eme plan (rue, habitation et mer). J ai fait une réclamation, on m avait deja surclassé, j ai demandé à voir la chambre que j avais réservé, elle était petite mais avec une vue dégagée sur la mer. Si vous recherchez de la tranquillité, c est celui qu il vous faut.

L'hôtel extérieur est très sympa, par contre l'intérieur des chambres l'est beaucoup moins. Nous avions une chambre duplex, hyper sombre, qui donnait sur un mur. La salle de bain, en souplex sans ventilation, était très humide. Les canapés lits pour les enfants étaient vraiment très inconfortables. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambres, mais on nous a répondu qu'il n'y en avait pas d'autres, alors que celle d'à coté avec une grande fenêtre sans vis à vis à été utilisée seulement 2 jours, pendant notre séjour de 7 nuits. Au niveau de la restauration, heureusement que nous étions en 1/2 pension et pas en pension complète, car la nourriture du soir n'étaient vraiment pas bonne. L'avantage de cet hôtel est qu'il est situé dans le village, et il y'a beaucoup de restaurants accessibles à pieds. Concernant les piscines, nous avions choisi cet hôtel, car les piscine étaient chauffées (indispensable pour nous, fin octobre), il n'y en avait que 2/3 chauffées pendant notre séjour et une seulement accessible aux familles, complètement à l'opposé de notre hébergement. D'ailleurs, hyper pratique avec des enfants de devoir traverser une route, pour se rendre dans la partie principale de l'hotel... Et donc, cette piscine accessible à tous, les enfants n'ont pas le droit de sauter dedans... Et il n'y a aucune autre activité pour eux. Donc, n'allez surtout pas dans cet hôtel en famille.

Hébergement au top, décor magnifique. A faire absolument

Struttura di gran fascino inserita in un bel villaggio tipicamente cretese. Sono stato deliziato dall'accoglienza di dimitra che mi ha fatto sentire subito benvenuto . Tutto il personale è stato gentile e amichevole. Le stanze belle le piscine fantastiche e il panorama dal bar davvero suggestivo. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci. Grazie a tutti voi e anche per la torta in camera il giorno del mio compleanno.

Super schöne Unterkunft und mit tollem Personal. Man konnte sich rundum wohlfühlen. Auch das Essen war echt klasse. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Es war ruhig und angenehm. Der Buffet-Raum ist ein wenig klein gehalten, allerdings ausreichend. Das Resort ist schön konzeptioniert.l

L’hôtel est clairement paradisiaque. Le personnel est plus qu’aimable, serviable et compréhensif. Une petite pensée au meilleur barman qu’on ai rencontré : Giorgos je crois.

Le personnel est tres accueillant et tres sympa,le site est excentré des plages, l hôtel est vendu comme un 5 etoiles publicité mensongère car c est un 4 etoiles en attente de sa 5 eme étoile donc prix des chambres surcotees par rapport aux prestations. Deçue d'avoir fait confiance à expedia par rapport aux recommandations de cet hôtel..

La piscine, la beauté de l hôtel je n’ai pas aimer qu’on paye la bouteille d eau

Wirklich seeehr freundliches Personal, besonders die Reservationskoordinatorin Vivie war sehr interessiert und engagiert. Bietet alles an von Massage bis zu den ausgefallensten Cocktails. Der Barkeeper hat total gute Laune gemacht. Sehr sauber und sehr ordentlich. Im Hotel gibt es so gut wie alles man braucht es eigentlich garnicht zu verlassen. Hat eine tolle Umgebung bei der man trotzdem spazieren sollte
