It was a great place to stay
Hotel was beautiful and Staff was great except one girl lied and said there’s no taxi in inti Raymi festival so we missed it bc we had to walk to festival. She worked on 6/24, absolutely awful customer service
Beautiful, low key stay
Beautiful patio, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Most places don’t seem to have heat but they were able to provide me with a water pad bed warmer and space heater. The place was very peaceful and you can’t beat the view.
I loved staying at Encantada! The staff are amazing, kind and helpful. It’s at a great location and I watched the fireworks from the terras.
We rented an apartment adjacent to the property and enjoyed having enough space considering most places were much smaller. Would have enjoyed art on the walls would have made the place cozier but plain white walls made it less appealing. Also, kitchen was empty, no glasses, no plates, no cutlery and we ran out of toilet paper on the second day. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
The massage therapist is amazing! Walking distance to San Blas Cuzco. Beautiful gardens and friendly English speaking staff.
Great Views!
Amazing balcony & view! The spa is a highlight and laundry service is a bargain. Bed is comfy.
Amazing view from the balcony room! Staff was great, and the location was perfect!!!
We love staying at Encantada Casa. It’s only a 10 to 15 minute walk to Plaza los Armas, and we were in a nice quiet part of town where we can get a full night sleep while leaving the window open the breakfast. It was really delicious and the omelette station was so fun to wake up to every morning. The staff is so nice and helps with anything that you will need. We did laundry at the hotel too, and they brought it back beautifully folded and smelling great
This hotel was above our expectations. Great location, great breakfast, amazing and courteous staff.
Perfect location, beautiful property
Loved, loved Encantada! The service was fantastic! Always helpful & friendly. Beaitiful property overlooking the city inna wonderful and safe neighborhood. Restaurants nearby. Would stay again!
Stayed at the property twice and each occasions, I felt like being home Special kudos to Aaron The hotel is a gem in San Blas neighborhood.Small but cozy. Well kept. Super breakfast and I took advantage of their restaurant menu every time , I returned late from my tours Use their spa facility and it was awesome too. I felt renewed after leaving the spa. Overall, I ‘ll stay @ Encantada if return to Cusco
The property is beautiful and the view is amazing. But the room is tiny, there no place to walk when the luggage is on the floor. Also, on Expedia, the photos for the room category is not correct, it shows all room category photos for the ones I booked and I found it very confusing.
The only thing that could improve is the need for more hot water , the water temparature is slightly warm.
LOVE
I had such an amazing time staying here. The staff are warm and friendly- the check in was seamless and they had a nice, hot coca tea waiting for me. The hotel has a magnificent view of the city. The cafe/bar/restaurant serves yummy drinks and room service. Breakfast is decent and plentiful. If you get a chance, get a deep tissue, hour-long massage from Elvira! The best massage I’ve ever gotten in my life! The staff go above and beyond to make sure the guests are comfortable. Every night, they would leave an enema bag filled with hot water to make sure my bed stayed nice and warm all night. One morning I couldn’t make it down to breakfast and the manager actually brought food and juices to my room before the kitchen closed. Another time, I had to leave at 4am for a tour and the staff packed me a nice breakfast. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend. :)
Great location!
Great room with a beautiful balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The staff is so nice and accommodating, couldn’t ask for better! The breakfast is very good and the staff was so nice about making sure that you got down there before they stopped serving it. It’s in a historic area so not the most comfortable bed, not the greatest wi fi and didn’t always have hot water. The San Blas district is such a cool area and has an incredible view of Cisco, just be ready for lots of stair climbing!
This property is located in the cutest neighborhood with so many restaurants and shops near by. The staff is the kindest and so helpful! I will definitely stay here next again next time!
Highly recommend! Great location. Walking distance to everything you need. Friendly staff. They were very helpful with everything I needed including PCR testing. :)
Baby llama’s are the extra special touch
This place is incredible! They cared for my every need, helped me with my Covid testing to get back to the US, the literally got a mobile company to come and give me the test there. They made sack lunch breakfast for me everyday that I was leaving early to go hike, and they put a baby llama in my bed every night.
A super cute hotel. Breakfast was great and had a decent amount of options. Were able to help us get cabs as well as made sure we had breqkfast befote we left early for michu picchu. We required early check in as we arrived at 630am and the room was ready for us, which after a 9 hour overnight bus was amazing! This hotel is a bit further from the city centre but provides quietand great views. Would reccomend.
Location....dificult access to cars
The place with the stunning over view of the Cusco city, friendly workers and excellent chef. Turely makes me feel like home🎈🌈 I will come back here next year!
its very good
Amazing
Amazing hotel and service... I would definitely stay here again
Great staff. Very helpful with coordinating taxi and helping with arrangements with my other guest. The breakfast was average but did the job! Beautiful views from balcony rooms.
My room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was terrific and there was lots on offer. I had a massage at the spa which was a great post Inca Trail treat. My only complaint is that there was a large women's travelling group (25 +) so they were quite loud (spiral staircase is open through all floors so noise carries). I guess I should have expected this given one of the ladies asked me why I was allowed to stay at "their hotel." Guess they figured they ran the place!
Excellent choice
Fantastic place to stay with helpful staff and great views of Cusco. Comfortable beds, good breakfasts and dinners. Stayed before and after our Inca Trail hike and they stored our bags while we hiked and had them waiting for us in our room when we returned.
Lovely rooms but so tiny. Messed up extra days that I wanted in favour of a large group
Boutique heaven.
Really nice hotel. Some rooms are better than others, some need the showers updating and beds renewing. But it didn’t affect our stay. We loved the hotel. Personable and touches like hot water Bottles brought to your room on an evening. Breakfast is really good, staff are lovely and helpful. Couldn’t really fault and would definitely go again x
The staff are very friendly, picked us up late in the night a few blocks away while our driver couldn’t drive in. Welcomed us with the coca leaves tea. They also helped to book a restaurant that made our reservation painless. The breakfast is also top notch.
Nice place
Beautiful small hotel. We loved our stay!
They were very accommodating and friendly!!!!! I would stay again
Their attention to detail and curtesy was the best of any of the hotels we stayed in while in Peru.
A little piece of paradise
The Encantada was lovely! Right from the start everyone there was extremely helpful. Rooms were clean, food was good, & massages were great. Consuelo was an angel & was patient with all my questions. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location and awesome service! We had the 2 rooms on the third floor which was like our own private suite withe the amazing balcony.
The experience at encantada casa was great, we were very well looked after and will highly recommend the accommodation to others
not to far from La Plaza de Armas, the view is very nice, every night they put a hot water bag on your bed (winter) you can feel : everyone wants things to go well.
Property has a really nice view. Really clean and very friendly staff. Easier to walk to and from Plaza de Armas. Really loved how quiet and relaxing this place was.
Balcony view worth the stay alone. Panoramic view of Cusco! Big comfortable bed (altough pillows a bit flat), hot shower and nice breakfast. They gave us a hot towel upon arrival which was a nice touch. Room we had was a bit small but the view from the shared terrace is mostly where we spent our evening overlooking the city. It is a bit of a climb uphill from the main square but that was not a concern for us.
Great location, just outside Urubamba town. Very quiet and tranquil and ideal after a days hiking Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!
The hotel was charming and the staff were amazing. We stayed for two nights. The grounds are extremely pleasant, with several areas to just relax and enjoy, in addition to the spa. The restaurant was reasonable, and the breakfast was great. The property was clean and the desk staff were efficient and spoke almost perfect English. They were also very helpful with taxis, information, etc. The first room we got with our Expedia reservation was clean and had a great view, but was tiny, barely big enough for the queen bed. The shower was missing a door, and there was a broken piece of wood, presumably from a piece of furniture, lying on the floor. HOWEVER, I called the desk and related my disappointment, and they were absolutely gracious and quickly arranged to move us to a FABULOUS room, with a breathtaking view and a private balcony, a king bed, and everything in perfect working order. I would definitely recommend this one without hesitation.
This place was perfect for what I needed - just a place to do Machu Picchu. Staff very nice , wasn’t able to make breakfast am I left because my flight was really early and they made me a snack pack to go . The walls are thin tho and there was a dog barking a night in neighborhood so if a light sleeper may not be best .
Very good hotel experience!
Very nice hotel, although the location was pretty deep into the upper San Blas area, so it's bit more difficult to get in & out of given the narrow one-way streets that access it. If you walk, you'll be winded but you can get there by cab. I could say the room was a bit small, but they all are in that area, and we had a wonderful view! You access you room via stairs, so there's a bit more work to do after you get there. Having said all that, the people and service were exceptional and very helpful, the breakfast was wonderful, the staff were second to none, so overall this made up for whatever inconveniences I personally had with the location. Overall, a very, very good hotel experience and I would very much recommend this hotel as it is one of the nicest hotels in the very interesting San Blas area!
It was an amazing hotel!!! the bed was just perfect, we arrived completely exhausted and freezing from outside, and we found under the bed sheets a bag of hot water ... it was just perfect! Locations is amazing, breakfast was delicious, staff was very friendly at all times. We had a great experience!!!
Beautiful views from the hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. However, the room was quite basic with broken plugs, no ventilation in bathroom, lots of noise coming from other guests/stairway and the spa which was above us. Overpriced for what you get.
It's a nice place, fantastic location and a good breakfast compared to the usual Peru offering. I do think it's a little overpriced and the Tv's weren't working (Not the end of the world)
Great place and staff
I absolutely loved this hotel the staff are all so friendly and the service is fab. You even get a hot water put into your bed and a couple of sweets. The food is good.and the view of.thw city from.the terrace is lovely.
Great experience
This hotel was really nice, top class service. The reception, Diego and Angela have been amazing and room service was awesome too. It is located upon the hill so will need to walk a bit but the view is great and can’t ask anymore
Great views of Cuzco from the hotel!
Nice hotel situated not too far from the city centre. Friendly staff always willing to help. They even packed us breakfast for our early start to Machu Picchu.
Great experience
Great, little boutique situated in a good neighbourhood, with amazing rooftop views of the city. The staff were wonderfully helpful and were very informative.
Really nice hotel brilliantly located. The lady who checked us in was lovely and knowledgable. The only improvement could be in the bathroom.
Great views
Great views and close to town.
June Stay
Lovely experience at Encantada Casa Boutique Spa! Really enjoyed the neighborhood and beautiful rooftop views of the city. Especially enjoyable were the massages in the picturesque top floor, small boutique feel of the hotel, and nice details (hot water bottles on cold nights, little welcome pisco sour, and pretty sitting area with fire in the fireplace).
This hotel is beautiful -- really aesthetically pleasing and not cliche at all, like some seem to be in town. It is up on the hill, a little further from the Plaza Armas but still super close (around 10 minute walk). We stayed in a room with an amazing view of Cusco. The room itself was really clean and pretty. We used the jacuzzi at one point and it was a super relaxing and enjoyable experience -- you get a drink at the end and the spa room has an amazing view too! It could be loud at night but I think that's just Cusco, nothing really the hotel can do about it, and you want to be close enough to Cusco to walk. We had ear plugs that made for a great night's sleep -- I'd just recommend bringing some no matter what hotel you choose. The staff were really helpful and sweet here... and breakfast is amazing. Would 100% recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Cusco.
Terrific experience
I stayed in three hotels whilst in Cusco. I only moved about because of room availability. I gave all three a 10 out of 10. This one was a beautiful building, had a very friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast every day.
GREAT deal in Cusco!
We stayed at Casa Encantada before and after our trek and it was lovely. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was AMAZING.
Amazing in every way!
The hotel is like a boutique hotel with a really home like feel. My girlfriend and I loved it and would definitely stay again when in Cusco
Best view
Very clean hotel; beautiful location with best view and necessities near by; staff extremely helpful and pleasant!
Lovely clean rooms, a beautiful roof terrace which we spent loads of time on, and really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great - eggs, fruit, cereal, bread, juices and even a different cake each morning.
Stay here!
The staff is amazing. The view from the garden and terrace is amazing. After running around the bustling city of Cusco daily it was nice feeling like coming back home. Quiet neighborhood and close location to the ruins above the city (10 Min walk) also a quick walk to the city main square and I can’t even say enough about the hot water bottles in the bed at night
Boutique hotel, but dated
We booked this place as our treat as we thought it would be as the name indicates. However, it wasn't as good as the other hotel we stayed at in Cusco, which was disappointing. The complimentary Pisco sour is a nice touch, and they offer massages on request. However, we found the room had a really small shower that was extremely low flow, the hairdryer didn't work and the tv was really small.
Excellent experience at casa Encantada
We booked to stay at casa Encantada for 4 nights while visiting the area around Cuzco. We learn Cuzco offers more than what we expected and we decided to stay in Cuzco for the rest of our trip and we didn’t doubt about extending our stay at Casa Encantada. The staff is wonderful, kind people, very friendly and helpful, they accomodated all our needs and provided tips and informations. The rooms are clean and every night a cozy hot water battle was placed in the bed. The Cusco’s view from the terrace is fantastic. The hotel is located 10-15 minutes walk from the main plaza in a very quite area. Every morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast.Highly recommended!
3 Wonderful Nights at Encantada
Service was incredible. The staff made the stay an amazing one. Can not recommend it enough!
Awesome! Well worth the stay. Quiet location, great staff and nice little touches like a hot bottle to warm up your bed.
A gem in Cusco
I loved this little hotel. The staff, views, & breakfast was everything I like in a boutique hotel. There’s soothing music as you enter with welcoming staff. Turndown service include a fuzzy hot water bottle in your bed. Super clean.
Fantastic positioning, near everything but still quiet & cozy. Staff very friendly and helpful
Nice small hotel close to main plaza.
Very friendly staff helping with everything needed from taxi to dinner delivery.
Nice stay in Cuzco
Enjoyed the stay very much, nice room, great staff and close to town core
Quaint quiet European style room on the edge of a garden overlooking the city and below the Inca ruins at Christo Blanco. The staff was friendly, helpful in so many ways including teaching us how to make our own drinks.
Friendly helpful staff and lots of nice little added extra touches
Great service, great people
We stayed here before we made the Machu Picchu trek. The people and service were beyond excellent. The staff kept our bags during our 4 day trek, they even brought the bags up and down so they were waiting for us when we got back. They made sure to call us shuttles to and from the airport. The food was very good, breakfast was hot and free, dinner was very good too. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy and night, but there is a gate for added security. Overall, we thought very highly of this place.
Encantada Casa Boutique Spa | Hotel in Cusco | Travala.com
We had the most wonderful stay at Encantada Casa Boutique Spa! The rooms were spotlessly clean, the grounds and view of the city were so beautiful, and I cannot say enough about the quality of the staff and manager. I highly recommend them!
