Its value for money

The staff was friendly and helpful and for what is was is was clean however it was a dive.

For the money and one night, the Empress is fine! It's an old property but you can tell they take care of it.

Very nice customer service!

Washrooms was smelling gross, smells like weed or smoked cigarettes. And lock of the washroom was not even working at all, we complained about it but nobody took any action for that.

The family room was big, spacious for 6 people. The front desk staff were very nice. I have 3 complaints though. No hanger, no remote control for the TV and coffee is free for hotel guests but when i went to get coffee there was a sign saying the machine is out of coffee and the staff didn’t even made a new bunch.

We booked two rooms; and had both right next to each other. My friends had previously stayed at this hotel before so that’s why we decided to stay here… and around 12:30-1 I heard banging at my door, it was my friends in a panic because of bedbugs. We took pictures and checked my room and there was nothing in my room… so we contacted front desk and they argued about what it was and finally moved them into a new room.. then in the morning I tried speaking to front desk and zero compensation was given. I was just so very disappointed and disturbed with how this whole situation unfolded. I did get the managers email and have tried emailing them and I’ve yet to hear anything back from them…

Parking is chargeable and no water drained in any of our rooms. we booked 4 rooms all together under different names. Very bad experienced.

There was no mention of a required deposit until check in, nor the $10 parking fee…. When I questioned the deposit, and asked that since it was never disclosed what would happen if I refused to pay, she was very rude, said I couldn’t check in, and would lose the money I already paid. Since the deposit and parking was not disclosed I felt I should have been able to cancel. The bed area was clean looking, sheets clean but the bathroom had hair in the sink and tub the room was very outdated and could certainly use a makeover

$89 for three people for a night, seems a good deal. Perfect to rest up and taking a shower to feel refreshed. Although we didn't need to use the fridge, it was not working for a while. Complementary hot brewed drink. Perfect location to walk in to the downtown and Falls. Thanks.

Not clean enough

Value for the money / Lot of stairs to climb

The rooms are very old and dirty. We found rice all over our floor, dirty Kleenex under the bed and the walls have not been wiped down it seems in ages. There was also makeup on two of our face cloths and there was dust all over the dressers and night stand. It also smells like curry all throughout. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend anyone else does.

Need to pay additional 10 dollars for parking. Other rhan that, it's a decent inn for rhe price. Walkable distance to rhe falls.

Good sized room with 3 double beds. Mattresses were a little too firm. Not enough pillows. Noisy at times throughout the night. Toilet paper was very thin, not even sure it was 1-ply. A few lights were not working. Cable TV did not have many options. I would suggest investing in Smart TVs.

We were told to keep the noise down and we were only talking and not very loud.

I would rather stay on the street than to stay in this property again. The bed sheets on both beds were stained along with the pillow cases. I had taken my bathing suit, baited by the idea of a hot tub, only if we greeted with a giant sign reading "former pool area". walls and ceiling are paper thin, afternoon nap was regularly interrupted by people banging on them. Window frame was split and the carpet baseboard was falling off the wall. Charged $10 a day for parking, and then when I came back to the property late at night there was no parking left. The attendant directed me to park at the restaurant next door, with no clear signs that my car would not be towed away. Literally the only good thing I have to say about this property is that the air conditioning worked. Avoid it like the plague

Is a good place quieter good to relax

The room was nice and clean. But was kept awake with a group of people screaming and partying right outside my door, throwing water bottles off the balcony until 3am. When I went out to leave the next day, my vehicle (that I might add I had to pay extra for parking for) was vandalized. I strongly suggest having security available during peak days or busy weekends. To avoid losing potential customers or the trust of previous customers. I would not recommend nor feel comfortable staying at the risk of having my vehicle destroyed.

Overall great place to stay. Everything is nearby, walking distance. WEGO bus stop is 2 min walk. The only thing is tight parking over night.

parking is extra on top it was still an issue the rooms aee not as shown on pics minimial shanpoo soap and clean. there were hair in bathroom check in and out took too long.

Lack of electrical plugs to charge devices. Limited TV options. Very little privacy in room. Was close to food and entertainment in area. Staff was great.

Linen was clean and room was tidy, we stayed for 2 nights

Convenient place near the central attractions, staff were friendly. Shower tap switch for hot water was broken but somehow usable, they never clean the air-condition filters (same experience last year) so little hard to get fresh air from them.

This property charge for parking a vehicle. That something not mentioned before booking.

Very very dirty , hair fund on sheets , shower faucet wasn’t working , garbage all over the room , very very disappointed. I am solo bag packer traveler , I have been stay in so many hostels , 2 star motels and airbnb in my life , I am not luxury person at all , but this was terrible experience and if even they offer you some money to stay there , I would suggest to voice it .

Dirty Inn with Rude, arrogant and lair hotel Agent

As soon as we checked in we found huge stain on the sheets. Reported at the front Desk at 7:15pm, when we came back at 11:15pm, we saw someone opening the door with sheets. He cant open the door so he left the sheets on the chair in front of the door. We went in with the sheets but when we remove the top sheets, bed sheets and pillow cases has stain as well, plus the sheet he left in front of the door is torn. So we called the hotel to tell them to bring two sheets and pillow case but they said, they have to come to verify. The same guy who left the linen came by and we showed the huge stains, and he still insisted they are clean. He was so mad when i remove the pillow case and ask me where is dirty even after showing the stain. He said everything is clean, even looking at the stain and continued its HOUSEKEEPING fault. He continued he is the manager and he does not know how to change bed sheets. This agent is so arrogant, and rude. The next morning the front desk lady said no managers works at night! That guy was also lair. Never go to this inn again. Not worthed!

Totally scam by expedia . Actually, i booked hotel room in Niagra for 6 aug but after 2 hour expedia change the booking date to 8 August without even ask . When i reach to hotel on 6 August to check in . They refused me to check in by saying that your booking date is changed by expedia.

Was nightmare. It’s the worst motel I ever seen . I wanted to cancel my Rome but they refused. They charged me $873 for 3 nights for 2 rooms .in the picture shows nice room but when you go there it’s terrible. Bud bugs. many type of insect . Wet carpet. Shower top not working . Sheets dirty blood on it and different type of nasty things . Any one read my review do not book in this motel. You will be in nightmare.

Did not give me the 2 nights I booked for, had to move out and find another place to stay. Parking lot was too crowded and too close to the other cars which made it difficult to get in and out of your car.

I didn’t like the rude staff who was going to cancel my reservation on me cuz she was busy. the guy was nice when we got there who checked us in. rooms do not get cleaned there was old things under the bed. bugs in the room.

**Review of Hotel Stay** I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with the experience. The room lacked privacy, as the curtains were too small, allowing anyone outside to see in. Additionally, the toilet seat was broken, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable. Another issue was the unexpected charges. I was billed for extras and a security deposit, none of which were mentioned during the booking process on Expedia. This lack of transparency felt very deceptive and made the whole experience frustrating. Overall, it was a very bad experience, both with the hotel and booking through the Expedia app. I would not recommend using either.

Very dirty place I complained to the reception they changed the room again that room also dirty.

The location of the property was great and I liked that. The outside of the property looks better than inside. What I did not like is the property was unkept and smelled funny, also we saw bugs in the bed. We took a video and the owner said we brought the bug, after bringing it to their attention. while complaining to the owner, another customer said to her there was earwig in their room. They denied that also. Instead of an acknowledgement after taking them to see the bug, they told us to go home. It was a terrible experience. The furniture looks old and have stains. Its not worth going there at all.
