Just a nice place

One of the most powerful showers I have ever had in a hotel.

The Motelier was rude on the phone, not cool.

Spacious, spotless clean and comfortable. Great location. Train ride or motorway direct access to the city. Small mall 200 metres away. Variety of takeaways for those looking for something on the run. Great value.

Central, clean and tidy

Close to what we wanted,would stay again if we ever made trip again.

I liked that the owner rang me about my room preference and kept in contact about our arrival time. The room was spacious for a studio. The level of cleanliness was good. The bed was a little hard but I managed to get some sleep.

Gary in the office let us check in before two as we had to go on the shuttle bus at 1pm to Kapiti concert. I arranged beforehand and he said he would phone on the day to confirm which he did.

Unit clean and tidy, but bathroom area looked tired. Could do with upgrade. Ha the basics for an overnight stay. Person at reception grabbed the incorrect guest form and almost overcharged me. It wasnt until i questioned the price, he looked up in his system and saw he handed me someone's room. Time to retire?

Everything was great the only thing we had issues with was the "free" wifi was so limited.

Quite motel, rooms back off the road. It had a lovely court yard out the back of all the rooms that was nice to sit and have a coffee or meal.

Units were clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. A hassle-free stay.

We got a phone call on the day to see what check in time would roughly be which was a nice courtesy. Nice little unit, no issues with noise or facilities. Fyi One light doesnt work above dining table Nice shower with good pressure, lots of mirrors for us ladies to get ready to go out. Comfy bed and pillows. No complaints. 10/10 would stay again.

It was not clean so did not stay

The bathroom flooded when having a shower the bathroom door was broken down the botton there was no kitchen sink to wash our dishes the only cooling system was a ceiling fan which didn’t do much and it was wobbly

The customer service was exceptional, and I absolutely loved the room's amenities, which made my stay incredibly enjoyable.

Brilliant. Had everything we needed

Friendly host, balcony room with spa bath (didnt use it), milk and bottled water provided, lovely clean room and comfortable bed. Great stay. All used crockery/utensils are taken away and washed in their dishwasher and replaced with clean ones which is really nice touch not relying on previous guests' standards of cleaning that sometimes aren't the best. Would definitely stay again.

The motel studio unit was modern, clean, and quiet, but there are no cooking facilities. The check-in was very muddled. My friend arrived before me at 5:30 to check in while the office was supposed to be open. The office was in fact closed by then so he used the self check-in facility instead. At 6:30 I received the 3rd phone call of the day from the motel while still in transit, this time asking where my friend was! It was all a bit patience-testing.

Was a cool stay just the noise with rooms above can hear them Each time they walk to toilet which is quite annoying early hours in the am while trying to sleep

Great value for money. Housekeeping came in daily and replaced dirty crockery, made bed etc. just across the road From train station and bus stops so easy commute into Wellington. Beds comfy, spa bath a bonus, nice outdoor area to sit in the sun. Very quiet, spacious room.

Well. Suffice to say we would not stay there again! Owner?? rude, grumpy, arrogant and voiced more than once his annoyance that we'd booked through your online portal. Time he gave up reception duties! Not suited to front line, both in person and on phone. Grumpy 'bleep' !

I had a fantastic 6 night stay here. My room was clean, quiet and spacious. The motel was very close to the railway station and to the shopping mall and bus stop. The host and staff were friendly and polite. Highly recommended!

Quiet . Easy location

Nice spacious room. Beautiful linen on the bed with such comfy big pillows. Two complimentary water bottles nice and cold in the fridge. Highly recommend.

Dated rooms and bed was lumpy. Room was tidy and no obvious dirtiness to note. Water in the fridge was a nice touch. Receptionist was un-necessarily inquisitive when seeking specific details for arrival times. Seemed there was not the flexibility to arrive “any time after 2”. Perhaps that’s there policy however not stated in the Expedia page.

The only unfortunate part of the stay was the roadworks outside the motel on the old main road. This made it difficult to walk anywhere. The motel itself was quite and avery nice room. We enjoyed the spa bath. Great stay.

Good location for train station. Accommodation comfortable. Staff/owner could do with going a customer service course though as a bit rude. Fire alarm went off at 1.30am and the fire brigade turned up - eventually went back in and then briefly went off again around 3am so clearly faulty and not the best nights sleep - maybe just unfortunate timing for us (felt like we were in an episode of Fawlty Towers). A shame as could be a decent value place to stay. Note to owner, being nice to people doesn’t cost anything.

We arrived after 6pm and were greeted warmly by the gentleman on reception. Our room was clean and comfortable, it contained all that we needed for our stop over night. Parking onsite was great.

Great price. Handy location for what we needed, clean, tidy, good amenities, the twin room gave us lots of space and everything we needed.

A perfectly adequate property. Very good disabled bathroom. Surprised that the bed was a Double Booked & paid through Expedia, owner/operator phoned to ask if we were checking in on time siting they had had several people late checking in (in Compendium comment was made that late check in’s and self check in’s were available). I indicated that we thought we would be there around 2 pm. After not arriving at 2pm we had another phone call basically asking how long we would be! (Wanting to re-sell the room perhaps?). As it turned out we were going to be at least an hour to an hour and a half later. Although checkin time was 2 pm was phone

We arrived at 7pm and left at 9am so didnt have time to look/drive around but would highly recommend this place to stay as you can see by our ratings

Very dingy unit

We were in unit 3 and it was so dark with only 2 small windows! Unit was nice and clean though

Spotlessly Clean, plenty of room, Unit number 7 we stayed in was very quiet, fully equipped for our 5 night stay. Cant fault it. !

The property is walking distance to many restaurants and Coastlands mall. Property is tired, but kept up well, grounds tidy. All very clean

Lovely place to stay and we had nice quiet room at the back of the motel. Wallking distance to Coastlands and the cinema. Clean and comfortable. Lovely spa bath and powerful shower. Nice kitchen facilities. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

Enjoyed our 3 nights here, the room was big with a couch and kitchen, staff were helpful even did our laundry! Very clean and quiet.

Man at the front test was very organised and friendly. Was really nice that he checked the time we were arriving.

We loved our stay at the lodge it was quiet convenient to everything the receptionist male was great . Just an enjoyable and comfortable stay .
