Great hotel!

Great hotel! One of our best of our trip. Walking distance to town and great beach. Close to restaurants and food. Free parking! Breakfast was excellent!

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the little pool and easy access to beach and restaurants as well as the on-site parking. Breakfast was tasty and the service was lovely. The only thing I would mention is that our sink was clogged but repaired a few days into our stay.

Rooms were good and smart to use key for electricity, eggs were a little salty and room was not clean when i got back even though i left sign, they did have a usb port overall good.

We found the Elia on Expedia and all the reviews were excellent, I can honestly say the reality was just as good, if not better. The room was a lovely size, a massive comfortable bed, and a quite frankly brilliant shower. The greatest USP of the Elia is the staff, the lady who organised the breakfasts is really lovely and explained all the various breakfast dishes to us, lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and a spotless breakfast room. The reception staff helped us find great places to visit, where to find the bus the Chania and local places to eat. They are all a tremendous asset to the hotel.

Breakfast was very good they had many options, the staff was very helpful and nice. Walking distance to restaurants and view of the water. The reason I gave some 4 stars is because the room was on the small side and they didn’t have an iron.

Recomendation for this nice new hotel

Our stay in this gem hotel is realy pleasant. Hotel is brand new everything was excellent, personell is realy helpfull and they realy take care of you. We like this place as it is very clean, brand new and close to small town.

Amazing experience at this lovely hotel. The staff who work there are so friendly and polite and can’t do enough for you. The room was spacious, modern, clean and very well decorated. The breakfast was fantastic and the girls that worked breakfast were so lovely. Overall 5/5 experience and would definitely return in the future.

No surprises, budget hotel in a budget location

Service: TOP QUALITY. Everything else was FINE. This is a budget hotel, in a VERY BUDGET location. I was happy with the value I got, but note that this area is not the best in Crete and the hotel location while OK is not the best if you are staying for more than a couple of days. Having said that, facilities were fine and room was very nice and clean. So, overall I think I got what I paid for so I believe if you know what you are getting then go for it.

Great all around

Lovely and part of the actual town as opposed to too touristy. The beach is 100 metres away and the pool is really nice. The rooms are really big and the bathroom is lovely with a great shower. The best thing about the hotel is the staff though, especially Eleni who was making breakfast for us every morning (different stuff every day!) She is the nicest, most helpful person. Always smiley and trying her best to make our stay better. She even brought us fruit salad when we were by the pool around midday, and always made sure we had enough iced water before she left. I'd go back just for Eleni! What a beautiful human being!

Nice small hotel

Very nice hotel, room was amazing, staff very friendly and serviceminded. Breakfast was very nice. On the things that could have been bettet is that the size of the poolarea is very small and pool the same. I rate it 8 out of 10.

La struttura è ben tenuta, la zona è tranquilla ed a poca distanza da chania . Lo staff è molto gentile , le stanze sono ben arredate pulite ,la colazione è dscreta, presente anche piccola piscina ben tenuta . Il soggiorno è stato piacevole buona base partenza per scoprire splendide spiagge di Creta.

Tout est propre, bien agencé, le l’œstral très agréable et serviable

Exzellentes, nicht zu großes Hotel, neu und in gutem Zustand, außerordentlich freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück und eigener Parkplatz. Schöne Zimmer, geräumig und sauber! Alleine die Dusche ist eine Wucht!

Excellent et pas loin de la chania en voitue

Super hotel a taille humaine, literie super confortable, balcon agreable pres de la mer et avec piscine et transat. Propre salle de bain propre et assez spacieuse et bien équipée. Peignoir de bain pantoufles et produits de toilette de bonne qualité. Un seul bemol la reception est vide il est important d'avoir un acces à votre mail pour connaitre le code de la boite à clefs et recuperer votre carte de la chambre Le petit dejeuner buffet est assez copieux avec du jus d'oranges pressées et d'autres jus. Tres bon hôtel

Nice hotel close to beach

The staff at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super 😋 Very good location on quiet street close to Kalamaki beach. Easy connection to Hania city and other close by beaches with local bus line 21. Rooms were modern, clean and the bed was comfy.

Séjour inoubliable dans ce petit hôtel chambres très agréables avec rangement, très grand lit, très bonne literie. Salle de bain avec gel douche, shampooing, lait pour le corps,kit avec coton, coton tige et lime. Brosse à dent avec dentifrice. Peignoirs et chaussons tout est parfait!! Petit frigo et coffre fort. Tout est moderne et propre Petit déjeuner avec des produits frais salés et sucrés avec beaucoup de choix en buffet, le personnel et les femmes de chambre sont très serviables et très gentils Piscine et transat Bref tout était parfait nous reviendrons !!

New and easthetic hotel

We had the hotel almost to ourself the first couple of days and enjoyed being pamperes both by the sweet manager and the energetic breakfast-lady. The buffet is fresh and whats to be expected, but the freshly squezed orange juice every morning makes it a WINNER. The two-person room are a bit tiny, but the Four-person rooms are on the other hand were spacey. Both rooms were spotlesly clean and either the hotel is brand new or just remodeled, cause everything was REALLY nice and easteticly furnished. During these days all Corona-restrctions were also enforced which was nice and gave a sence of Security. The last couple of days unfortunately the hotel filled up, which meant crowding all around, no tables available for breakfast, and several of the new guests (sounded like many of them were from Easten Europe) didn’t follow Corona-rules about face-masks and gloves at the breakfast-buffet, which made the crowding an actual problem. The lokal take-away restaurent right across the street makes cheap but good food, the grocery-store next fore is really convinient, and Beach us quite close by

Belles prestations!

Bel hôtel, chambres spacieuses avec balcon, piscine ok, très bon petit déjeuner et personnel aux petits soins : je recommande ! Seul point négatif : localisation un peu éloignée du centre (voiture indispensable)

En couple, nous avons réservé une semaine au sein de l'hôtel Elia Kalamaki. Séjour plus qu'agréable : le cadre est très sympa, au calme mais bien situé (à 7-8 min du centre ville en scooter), le personnel est adorable, que ce soit la réception, la femme de ménage ou encore la personne qui s'occupe du petit-déjeuner. Beaucoup de bienveillance. Du choix dans ce qui est proposé au petit déjeuner (chaque jour, une partie des propositions change pour varier un peu). De plus, l'établissement est très propre. On recommande pour un séjour à la Canée !

Ottima la posizione come punto di partenza per visitare le principali spiagge e a 5 minuti di macchina dal centro di chania. Comodo parcheggio. Struttura nuovissima,moderna e pulita. Buona la colazione sia dolce che salata. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile. Camera curata anche nel design, anche se un po' piccolina. Super consigliato!

Tout d’abord la réception : l’accueil est très chaleureux et à l’écoute et vous donne pleins de conseils et des restaurants ou bar à Chania. La chambre est très propre, une bonne literie. L’hôtel est bien situé à 500 m de la plage et propose une piscine qui est nettoyé chaque jour. En face vous avez une Pita grill excellent ! Le petit déjeuner est varié et le personnel sont au petit soin avec les clients Je recommande cet hôtel et j’y retournais sans hésitation !

New hotel in convenient location. The staff is so kind and helpful. Special thanks to kitchen staff. However, the noise isolation of the rooms are poor. We've been waken up after the midnight by noisy group of guests having joyful and loud conversations in the lobby for more than an hour. The receptionist was too much kind to ask them to be quiet, so we ourselves had to go down and ask for some peace.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Elia Kalamaki, mit Abstand das beste Hotel auf unserer Rundreise. Wir hatten das Budget-Doppelzimmer gebucht, da leider kein anderes Zimmer mehr verfügbar war. Dennoch können wir hier nichts beanstanden. Das Zimmer war zwar etwas klein, aber sehr modern eingerichtet, alles war sauber und ordentlich. Einzig und alleine eine Ablage für unsere Koffer wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind spitze. Sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch im Frühstückksbereich. Alle sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben viele Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants in der Umgebung erhalten. Sogar Pool-/ Standhandtücher und Sonnenschirme stehen den Gästen auf Wunsch zur Verfügung. Der Pool ist klein, aber als wir dort waren, hatten wir diesen oftmals für uns allein. Um eine Liege kämpfen, muss man nicht. Nun noch zum besten Teil des Aufenthaltes: Das Frühstück ist phänomenal. Das liegt nicht nur an der ausgezeichneten Auswahl (Toast, Brot, süße Teilchen, Käse/Wurst, div. Kaffeespezialitäten, frisch gespresster Orangensaft, French Toast, Pancake etc.), sondern auch am super freundlichen und aufmerksamen Team, das einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen abliest. Zur Umgebung: Gegenüber vom Hotel befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, ein weiterer in einer Entfernung von 2min zu Fuß. Der Strand ist nicht sonderlich schön, allerdings ist man ebenfalls in nicht mal 5min dort. An der Promenade befinden sich sehr schöne Restaurants. Alles in allem: TOP!

Stanza in stile moderno; fantastico bagno con walking shower. TV di grandi dimensioni e macchina per il caffè/tè; impianto per l'aria condizionata ottimo. Personale gentilissimo e colazione abbondante. Unico difetto la totale mancanza di cassetti o cassettiere; c'è solo un piccolo armadio con 4 stampelle.

Great hotel with extremely nice staff, great breakfast and modern premises and room. Close to beach, food shops, cafes and restaurants, easy access to city center. Only negative occasion was one day without electricity, whole part of the city was down.
