Love Element hotels. My only complaint this stay was that I couldn’t get hot water for my shower and the water went cold in the middle of it.

Great experience staying at the Element, very nice spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast was quite nice. Staff are very friendly. Area around the hotel slightly rundown and some construction.

Will stay here every time I’m in San Antonio!

The food was pretty good on Sunday, the food on Monday was OK, the staff was super nice, the rooms were nice as well as the hotel, the location is horrible with the construction, hardly slept, some of the downtown buildings surrounding it are abandoned and boarded up. Man, for construction to be going at NIGHT they should be handing out ear plugs at check in. The price I paid should have been non construction prices. I was not aware when we booked. There should have been a steep discount involved.

Everything was good ! We got a room facing to a construction site ! We can’t sleep all the time there ! Next time ask if they have construction around !!

Nice hotel & location. Very loud at night with music from outdoor celebrations going on until 1:30 AM

We were placed in a room 5 feet from construction. We were woken at midnight by loud construction on 12th floor. Hotel staff moved us to a different room. But all this could have all been prevented from the moment we checked in.

Cozy & Nice

The hotel was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The staff was great, always helpful. The elevators were slow but not horrible. The breakfast was great.

I went hotel at night check in due a lay over we got there late, unfortunately we were having issues with our debit card the older white lady she believe was training so rude. Thankful we had other arrangements at Somenta reading reviews already had me questionable!! I total agree she rude and tried make like we broke but hasn't I already was frustrated arriving late then on top of her BS I would visit bask and tip her on customers service glad we choose another stay!! If you must know when you out town the bank freeze your card but her body language let me know we wasn’t welcome!! Thanks 2-7-25 around 9pm host

Super clean, nice amenities, literally right outside river walk!

The perfect stay

I love everything except the expensive parking. But staff was excellent. The room was perfect. My husband and I would definitely be returning. The continental breakfast was ok. The coffee was perfect.

Front desk fail

Front desk person at check in was not very informative. Failed to mention we would need a room key to enter building after a certain time. Failed to mention we needed our key card to use the elevator after a certain time. Failed to tell us where the restaurant and bar was. Failed to tell us whitch elevator would take us to our floor. Only certain elevators went to certain floors.

Lots of construction around the hotel. We had a huge crane outside our window. And when you walk outside the hotel your hit with run down out of business or going out of business businesses. Had to ask for towels a few times before I actually got them. The AC/heater was kinda jacked up in my room. It ran constantly and if you turned it up any higher than 73* the heater came on. So it was either freeze or be hot.

They don't have free parking

Amazing hotel! One of my absolute favorite! The staff were so kind and helpful, the hotel and the room were so clean, the area is safe and it is so close to everything! Love it! Definitely I am planning to come back!

Great stay I will be coming back

Great stay I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends. The valet and front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. They do charge $45 for valet which is a lot but most of the hotels in that area do charge around that same price. The free breakfast is very good !

The hotel was in the middle of the city right next to the riverwalk. The PERFECT location. The hotel is quiet, SUPER clean, and has an almost full kitchen (which I loved for my leftovers). The staffing were all very kind and helpful. The service was super quick anytime we needed something.

No on river but definitely would book again. Food in walking distance.

Nice

The room temperature was set by the hotel. Not able to change it. Couldn’t had a restful sleep. Either you paid a Valet service or parked your vehicle in a public parking lot.

My daughter and I both enjoyed staying here so much. It was so quiet i questioned if anyone was actually staying there until we went to breakfast. It was a short distance to the Riverwalk and it wasn't far to the Majestic Theater where we were seeing a play. They also had the best complimentary breakfast I think I have had at a hotel or motel.

From the moment I arrived Tanner was very nice and informative. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful as well. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Looks very new/sleek, the room was great and specious! The staff at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop bar next door, great views! Hotel is walking distance to shop and restaurants. Parking was only valet it seems. I parked at the structure next door, bit cheaper.

the room was very noisy. there was a club in the area blasting music until 1am. we could hear every noise in the hall and outside. every honk every car. valet took 40 minutes in the morning to get us our car. we will not stay here again.

Trash can in kitchenette area was full & smelled. Was corrected promptly.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to share my thoughts on Element. The design is thoughtfully crafted down to the smallest details, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Plus, its proximity to the Riverwalk is a bonus. Highly recommend!

The property is good and convenient to the river walk. Valet parking is $45 per night which is better than other hotels in the area

Beautiful hotel, amazing room with kitchen and utensils. We got a Riverwalk view so it was incredible. Morning breakfast buffet was great too. I left my clothing there and those guys found my item and safely mailed it to me.

Spent six nights here, five people in 3 rooms. The facility is less than two years old. We found all three rooms to be well stocked, clean, comfortable, with extra amenities such as flatware and a toaster not often found in other hotels. The location was incredibly convenient. We walked to the tower of the americas, the Alamodome, the Alamo, mall, shopping centers, and the hotel is literally fifty steps from the riverwalk. Staff and housekeeping were attentive yet not intrusive. 1 Watson rooftop provided terrific views. Breakfast was very good for an included amenity. The Uber ride to and from the airport for five passengers was about 30 dollars each way. There is no need for renting a vehicle here and I’m glad we didn’t because it appears driving and parking nearby are best left to locals. I am actually kind of shocked at the quality and location of this hotel given its reasonable price. This is my go -to now and I have previously stayed at the Valencia, the grand hyatt and the embassy suites. I would choose the Element over any of them in a heartbeat.

Close to the river walk and all that area. The place was clean and modern. Great breakfast. Great for “upper-middle class” who doesn’t want to spring the $400 a night price tag.

10 minutes walk to the Riverwalk, Room is clean and neat, Right next to the parking lot.

Christmas visit.

Christmas visit with adult son. Staff persons were all, exceptionally friendly and service driven! It was so pleasant. I only gave "comfort" a 4/5 stars because I didn't find the bedsheets to be as nice as others, though I for certain would come back to this hotel!!

The front desk doesn’t know we have free valet and told us that we needed to pay until we showed them the itinerary. It is not pretty frustrated. Also, I booked 2 rooms but the front desk did not aware of it.

I got the suite, our room was right next to the elevator. It was so noisy, we can’t even sleep. We complained but they couldn’t move us to another suite bc it was all booked.

We loved our stay at the Element Riverwalk. The breakfast was amazing, with options for everyone. The room was comfortable. We will definitely highly recommend the Element Riverwalk.

The property was in a great location. You can walk to all the areas you want to enjoy around the Alamo and Riverwalk. The only downside was the abandoned restaurants and buildings directly across from the hotel, however, you quickly get through that and get to the good stuff. Breakfast was awesome!

The hotel is fairly new and clean. The staff was outstanding. I would rate it a perfect score for that alone. Complimentary breakfast was a favorite. Nice additions like complimentary fruit and coffee in the morning at the lobby. Also, cheeses and bread in the afternoon and hot fresh brewed high quality teas in the evening. Lastly, complimentary adult beverage in the evening at the rooftop bar.

Close to historical church and River Walk.

It was a great stay but the only thing that I’m upset is they charge me twice for a deposit which I think it’s really wrong

Loved the Element!

We LOVED the Element! It is quite new and beautiful. Everything was clean, the service was super friendly, there was convenient and reasonably priced parking, there were some special extras (free drinks, etc.), and most of all, the locations was SPECTACULAR. We were a block from the River Walk, a few blocks from the Alamo, maybe half a mile from the Tower, and right next to the whole historical district.

Would stay here again!

We arrived earlier than check in but Abbey at the front desk was kind enough to get us into a room ahead of schedule. We came for our sons birthday to have a movie night at a nice hotel but the TV volume was stuck at max (for whatever reason the remote wasn't working for it) but after a quick txt to Isabella, she had a knowledgeable service engineer come up and fix it for us. Breakfast was well done by the friendly staff there and we all got a great start to our morning. Oh, the valet worked quickly and were very friendly, definitely worth it. In all, it was a great visit.

Hotel was perfect. Some of the most comfortable beds/pillows/blankets. Only downfall was it seemed the AC wasn’t working well so the room would get a little warm.

The 8th floor hall carpet needs to be cleaned, as it has stains. Overall, we had an excellent stay. The breakfast staff is wonderful. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

Wonderful stay, the room was nice and clean. The staff was professional, the breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the AC didn't turn on often and it did get a bit warm. We could only get it to turn on by turning the main light on. Overall good stay though

The hotel was new and we loved the amazing free breakfast! Best options ive ever had! The rooms were wonderful and comfy bed and loved the filtered water spigot in the room!

Excellent hotel. Great location, newly constructed building. Rooms are very nice and extremely clean. Morning breakfast is good. The rooftop restaurant has a limited menu but the view is gorgeous. Only minor issue is that some of the rooms give directly on a busy street and there is a lot of noise that can be heard at time. Overall I strongly recommend, I would stay there again.

Wi-Fi was out a good portion of our stay. Staff was great. Room was great.

My husband and I decided on a weekend getaway at the San Antonio Riverwalk to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. I am so happy we chose to stay at The Element hotel, the staff was exceptionally kind, room was clean, bed was comfy, it was right in the center of everything so we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go on the river walk and best of all it was affordable! We will definitely be back!

All room face either a very noisy street or construction area- all which start at 5 am. The location was a little sketchy and parking is scarce. Valet parking is a flat fee of around $50/day. The extras are nice - happy hour, nice gym, breakfast - but the noise starting at 5 am is a true bummer.
