Would recommend

Our only issue was the outside light that made it appear like it was always daytime outside. The shade was not blackout quality.

Not so pretty comfort

Hotel staff was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. Rooms give hosiptal vibes, very small for the price. Just not visually appealing. Would not recommend for that reason only.

First the room were not clean. They did changes us to another room. They clean just fast the rooms. My truck window got broken and they didn’t care or just told us that we have signs all over the hotel. It was 3 trucks and 2 days later was another vehicle. The food service Personel were great. Those guys are a 10.

Great stuff

Always a great experience here

The property was fine and the area was nice but we reserved cribs and there were never any available. We did not get much sleep and my toddlers fell out of the bed. I did not know there was a possibility that they would run out of cribs or we would have made other arrangements.

Customer Service

The female hotel employee who checked me into my room displayed a profoundly negative attitude. It was evident that she was disinclined to engage with me and provide any form of customer service. She failed to complete the check-in process and abruptly departed, leaving another employee to complete the task. The original employee subsequently left the premises for the day. This behavior was utterly unacceptable and left a deeply unpleasant impression.

Dirty and Poorly Maintained

Just all around dirty and poorly maintained property. Further, they design and contruction of the building is poor as you can hear people walking above, all doors slam, and shake walls across the floor. Creates a very noisy enviroment. Did i mention the property was poorly maintained and dirty...

Great stay in Vintage Park

Hotel was incredible. The rooms were great, the breakfast was delicious amd the staff was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

The last visit the stay had a great breakfast. The eggs were great and food was cooked to perfection. This stay a was not as good. The bacon was very mushy and the eggs had no flavor. The hotel itself was very clean however the front desk person that checked me in seem to not be as informative about the hotel as the last trip. Something has changed and I am not sure what. All in all I would stay there again because it did feel safe however hopefully they get stuff back on track like my first visit.

There was bags of trash in the cupboard under the stove. Old food , drinks and trash. Floors needed to be swept and mopped.

Froze

I liked the size, the amenities, the staff were super great. Only issue was the thermostat was set to 65 & we couldn’t change it. So we froze. The bathroom light was super dark. Other than that was a great stay!

Very pretty

Needed 3 last minute rooms due to power outage at our house. The hotel staff was great and offered free room upgrades. Highly recommend

The stay was very nice. Could be updated but it was worth it & very convenient to my overall destination… literally across the street! I would stay here again! Just need better pillows too!

We visited the Element when our AC went out, and it was clean, well equipped, and in a great location. Check-in was easy and the staff was welcoming. I’d definitely recommend.

Hotel is older and they just rrenovated the lobby area. Rooms and hallways old and tired looking.

Gotta do better with cleanliness. Pillow was dirty but cases was not.

Houston - Element

Hotel was dirty and the elevators are in need of service. One was out of order and the other was a rough ride! Informed the staff of my concern about using the elevator again and they were dismissive. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable. However, overall the hotel was dirty and unkept. We will certainly not be staying again.

Great spot for a two night work trip!

I came here for a work trip, and no other hotels were available, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see there was a sink with filtered water and a desk that had a TV that squirt from the bed to the desk to view. The shower was also absolutely beautiful and the unit stayed. Cold is spicy, humid, muggy heat.

This hotel was do dirty, room smelled like cigarettes. I had to leave. Room rug had stains all over that looked like dog poop stains.

The property wasn’t bad compared to the situation of no lights. The main problem was walking up the stairs to the 4th floor because the elevator was down. the dog big dogs were so unruly loud and the owners had no respect for others. Also leave pee pads from their dogs in the stairwell. The washers didn’t really work well

Not a typical Marriott property. Definitely needs some updating, improved water pressure and a bar.

Keys were not working so if I needed to walk out I had to leave the door open because the keys didn’t work at all or the key pass

Every staff person we encountered was so friendly. Smiling, acknowledging you, asking if you needed anything just because they happen to be walking by you. Also very knowledgeable about the area. It was a great experience. And the hotel was very clean.

The location is good, near by shops and restaurants. The staff were nice. The free breakfast was okay, yogurt bar, cold cereal, egg with cheese omelettes, sausage patties, and potatoes. Muffins, bagels, pastries & toast. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower wall needs repair. The room could use a ceiling fan.

The Studio Room was really nice for my partner and I, I enjoyed it's compactness while having everything we needed.

Great Hotel, family friendly

Good, but I expected better quality. The fridge was making noise and I had to wake up after midnight to unplug the fridge because it was so noisy. Breakfast was fine regular not many options for fruit. They use clorox to disinfect which is good but the smell of clorox was irritating for me.

We had no house keeping even after making multiple calls to get someone to clean, front desk hung up when we called to get rooms switched. $700 for 2 nights for 2 rooms went down the drain. Excellent location, very close to SH 249 and very close to The Vintage Park

The employees are extremely courteous, cheerful and helpful. The floors are being cleaned constantly and the lobby area is well organized.

Wasn’t the cleanest hotel and called the front desk for an extra towel, but it was never brought to us or notified us if we needed to go down to get it ourselves. Breakfast was just OK.

The Element Houston Vintage park is an amazing place, the check in desk was pleasing and inviting. I enjoyed the experience with a quick and to the point check in, no issues with the customer service was courteous and respectful. the room was very nice, clean, and amentias was all in place. I liked that the room had everything in there, the kitchen, the living area and the bedroom was very nice and the bathroom was very elegant. I enjoy the stay it was worth every penny.

I don’t like the fact that there is no security I have stayed at this hotel many times and unfortunately they have broken into my van twice the area seems very quiet which is a great opportunity for thieves. It’s also hidden away.

First rime staying there. I really enjoyed it. Was nice and beyond my expectations. Will definetly stay again in the future..

I like the rooms are really nice and modern. The place reminded me of a resort with the nice option to cook. The breakfast was okay but could be better overall it was great.

I went to spend my weekend to he relax at the pool and to rest and sleep in my room . When we were at the pool the Bathroon at the pool was not flushing , I told the guy at the counter, during my stay my room was connected to another room and you can hear all the loud voices from the kids and their parents talking next to the door . To finish ruining my stay theres is a food truck doing delivery to the hotel At 6:am 😩 for a lot of time 😩? What kind of place is this???? I couldn’t go back to sleep!!!!! As soon as I picked up my things I went to the counter and I told the lady that can’t happen there where people are paying to rest and sleep!!!! I would like my money back as soon as you can since the lady at the counter didn’t do nothing for me .

Distasteful breakfast

I was disappointed in breakfast. The sausage links were a cheap frozen type, there was NO cereal and NO pancakes/waffles - but there was syrup out. And the elderly Hispanic man (he spoke Spanish to someone) that apparently put the food out, made a couple inappropriate/crude comments/jokes about a younger male staff member - something about the TV remote missing etc. The worst breakfast in the 6+ stays I’ve had over 10 years. So a bad ending to my stay. I may not come back.

We did have a power outage, which made it difficult to navigate the stairs with my elderly mother. Need emergency lighting in hallways and stairwell.

Dirty. Electronic keys did not work at all fornour two night trip. Room was not cleaned or even restocked. We were told upon chexk out we needed to asknfor for service. BS. Stay elsewhere.

We have stayed here plenty of times before. It’s always clean and comfortable! We will continue to stay here when we are in the area.

The area the hotel is located in is great. The lobby is modern ans you can tell is updated. The rooms are like stepping into the time machine back 10 years. They are old and smell like a wet dog. The hotel was booked through Expedia and upon arrival they charged my card additionally for a nights stay plus what Expedia charged. 1 month later and i still have not been refunded.

UNBELIEVABLE and not in a good way

I was really happy with the lobby and the girls in front but that was the last of my happiness with this place.....i would not ever stay there or recommend The Element to anyone i like or care about.

It was nice service was amazing the room couple have been a little cleaner and the tv didn’t work. But it was nice big and homey and the breakfast was pretty good

Beautiful rooms, we had the studio king and it was spacious, modern, and clean. Loved it!! Great location, with in walking distance of fabulous restaurants.

Rooms were great. Had mix up about reservations. Front desk was rude about the whole situation. Then woke up to someone vandalize my truck. Catalytic converters x2 were missing. Gonna cost me a fortune to get fixed. And the hotel has no security cameras. Nice part of town wirh crap security. One night there is gonna cost me $6000.00 to get my truck fixed. Police report filed. Called hotel... im sorry.

Good location and really cool lobby with outside seating.

I like the room size and cleanliness, but our blinds were electrically controlled & they were broken so they were stuck about half closed on the window. I asked the staff if I was doing it wrong but then they went and checked my room and said it was broken and that the maintenance can fix it in the morning, but that was not helpful to me because I would already be checked out by morning. The sun woke me up a lot earlier than I wanted which was annoying. Also, the tv did not work and the shower was handicap accessible but the shower floor lip is not very high so water got all over the floor and the toilet also was leaking water at the base. Overall very disappointing and I will not be using element again.
