Fantastic location loved it

Excellent hotel located in a great location close to shopping / restaurants / cafes. The area around the hotel is very walkable.Acropolis’s and City views from the 10th floor restaurant were breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back next time we visit Athens!

The perfect hotel

Hotel is centrally located and very accessible to central areas. Very impressive dining room and the service of the employees is exceptional, excellent, the guest is at the center. They work hard and whatever is requested is answered happily and courteously, with a smile and a great desire to serve the customer. One day I went up to the dining room with a cup and a bag of soup to give to a friend who was with me. The waiter came with a jug of hot water and said you will certainly want hot water for the soup. It was WOW ❤️. Everything is clean and tidy and during the day the room was cleaned twice. At the reception there was a lovely manager named Atina, she solved every issue, she was very kind.

Nice hotel, good location, nice view and breakfast. However, we were very disappointed that the pool was not warm at all. We chose this hotel specifically because we planned to relax in a warm pool and jacuzzi at the end of each day but we could not enjoy it at all because it was cold..

This beautifully appointed and quiet hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of Athens--from Syntagma Square to Plaka to the Acropolis, most things are in walking distance. While the hotel has many amenities, the high point is the Parthenon view from the 10th floor restaurant where a copious buffet breakfast is served each day and where drinks and dinner are available each night.

This is an excellent property with good facilities, excellent staff. Alexia in reception was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful overlooking the Acropolis. The spread was good and the service was great. The location is perfect to go around Athens. The transport to and from the airport was efficiently arranged. We would love to come back here in the future.

Hotel is in a great location with amazing views of Acropolis that you can enjoy while having breakfast or dinner. Breakfast is served buffet style and it is a really good spread with lots of options available! The staff was very attentive and helpful. Location is also really good as you can walk to many attractions, shopping, and dining. Definitely would stay there again!

This is my second time stating at this hotel. The hotel is great. The location is ideal. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Views from 10th floor amazing. A high end experience. It will be my go to hotel whenever I’m in Athens.

I would definitely come back.

They originally gave us a subpar room, not well cleaned & no view. We paid for a view. After speaking to them about leaving, they got us our room with the view we paid for. I don’t like the fact they tried to switch us for something else. Good location. Breakfast was ok, nice view. Would not go back.

The hotel is very clean, modern, and in a great location. The views are magnificent and the restaurant and bar was beautiful. The staff are professional and courteous, and we had the best message at the spa. We definitely plan on returning!

Stayed for the Athens Marathon - really great 'early' breakfast put on for marathon runners, and a spectacular setting. Great location, and concierge was excellent. Thoroughly recommended. Only small comment would be the rooftop pool is super-cold, which in the summer would be ideal, but in November wasn't quite as inviting as it looked! But that's not a criticism, more for awareness for other off-season visitors!

The perfect place to stay in Athens! Close to museums, the Acropolis, dining options and shopping! The hotel is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The best view of the Acropolis on the hotel’s rooftop restaurant!

The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop during breakfast was spectacular. Loved the location very convenient and we could easily walk around the centre. Close to plaka, thesion, kolonaki, shopping, and dinning. The staff was lovely and always polite and helpful.

The staff were helpful and professional and very kind and attentive. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast fresh and plentiful. Views from the rooftop we’re magnificent.

Athens is great!

The room was excellent but the view of the ramshackle building across the street was ugly. The restaurant for dinner was very expensive and both meals were odd and mediocre.

Incredible staff, view and food - this place excuses 5* from the moment you enter the lobby to check-out.

The property is located right in the middle of heart with tons of shopping and eating options at walking distance. The views of Acropolis is awesome and unobstructed. In addition to location, the property is well maintained and staff was great.

I paid extra for a room with a balcony but the balcony opened to an alley way with the view of a run down dilapidated building. I complained but apparently there was no room but suits left, which would have cost me an additional 200 Euros.

The Electra Metropolis is one of the best in Athens. Great staff, large rooms, best location. View from the rooftop bar is amazing and don't miss the breakfast buffet...one of the best I have ever had. Have stayed here numerous times and would never stay anywhere else in Athens.

Exceeded our expectations in every way

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We arrived at 8:45 AM after a red eye flight from JFK. We asked if we could check in early and they were extremely accommodating. They sent us upstairs to the roof top lounge for a complimentary breakfast buffet while we waited only one hour and ten minutes for a room. It was awesome to take a nap before exploring Athens. We returned to the rooftop lounge for an outstanding dinner with a view of the Acropolis. We loved the neighborhood around the hotel. A pharmacy, ATM, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. We bought some art at a great store called Kori across the street. The complimentary breakfast bar was off the chain. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, veggies, salad bar, bread bar, pastries, fruit bar, nut bar, honey, cold cuts you name it. Nice strong coffee and great service. We will return to Athens and we will stay at this marvelous hotel again.

Excellent all round experience - very central and well-located.

This place is absolutely fantastic for a stay in the city, but still maintaining European boutique luxury. My friend and I were able to book a regular room, and upgrade later to a room with a balcony, so my review will be based on that. First, I’d like to mention that the hotel conveniently offers transport from the airport to the hotel and vice version on the website. You can certainly call the hotel to arrange, but it’s just as easy to do this online. Upon arrival, check in was swift, with fast, friendly concierge service. They notified us of the included breakfast as well as the spa services and dining options within and around the hotel. Upon descending the lift, the corridors were a bit smaller than the American size with, but still passable if a maids cart was also in the hallway. We went to our balcony room and this place was spectacular! We booked a room that essentially was 2 spaces (a parlor area and a separate bedroom area). The room had two bathrooms, a sitting parlor, balcony that extended from both rooms, and a view of the Acropolis that felt like you could reach out and touch it. The room also came with macarons, a bottle of wine and fresh bottle of water (all complimentary). The balcony was carefully thought out because they had laise chairs and a table to enjoy the outside. We were on the 8 floor. Both bathrooms were wet bathrooms and each included bidets (yay!). The restaurant is delightful, and breakfast is buffet style. They also have a wonderful pool

I’m not giving this property 5 stars because it was not very luxurious. That said it was a solid, nice hotel that is in a good location. I would go back there. Pros- Roof has a great view of the acropolis Bookings seem to all include breakfast Indoor and outdoor pool Spa services- massage was very good there Rooms were clean, prompt housekeeping Firm mattresses Very central location great for walking Quiet Robes and slippers in room Guest relations female manager was super nice Rooms have bathtubs Cons- Beds could have use a better / heavier duvet Outdoor roof pool needs to have some tiles cleaned well on the sides Breakfast foods were not great, nothing super tasty or well prepared Rooftop cocktails very expensive compared to other bars in area Indoor pool and jacuzzi were cold Steam room out of service I booked a room thru hotels.com that was pay at property- hotel would not honor that and charged my credit card full amount a week before (I called and proper wouldn’t adjust) Rooftop dinner menu boring, basic and super overpriced Food at hotel had little to no vegetarian options TV was not a smart TV and only English channels were two news ones Some of the furniture seemed old/dated But overpriced overall Overall solid 4 out of 5 stars

This was an absolutely amazing property! The location is excellent as all of the main attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. And the view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar/restaurant can’t be beat! No doubt I would stay here again!

We had an amazing time at the Electra Metropolis! We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect first stop on our trip. The room was fantastic, and the service was great from everybody we met! The best part of this hotel is a delicious breakfast with incredible coffee on the rooftop overlooking the city and a beautiful view of the Acropolis! We also splurged on a rooftop restaurant dinner and it did not disappoint! Incredible service, food, and drinks! Thank you Electra Metropolis for a very wonderful and memorable visit!!

We love staying here in Athens. It is so close to all you want to see in Athens. It provides a great breakfast overlooking the Acropolis and all the staff are wonderful and attentive. My only criticism is the WiFi is not strong and drops out sometimes. Otherwise, a worthwhile hotel to stay.

The location is excellent. All staffs were very nice and helpful. The breakfast room is a delight with great Acropolis view. The only deficiency was two of the electric outlets did could not be plugged in even with the correct plug.

We spent so much time researching hotels and were very picky about what we wanted. This hotel is fantastic so we made the right choice. The breakfast is so good, its ridiculous! The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. It's an easy walk to the Acropolis. There's so much shopping and dining around. If we find ourselves back in Athens, we will absolutely stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable. The rooftop bar staff was really good, fantastic views of Acropolis. The dining attendants a little slow, including hostess, seemed a little disorganized. The room itself, very good, clean, comfortable. The hotel is in fantastic location, convenient to Plaka area, great dining options around, safe, great walking.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. I wish they had more options of movies to watch in Dnhlidg and other languages. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The rooftop and views of the Acropolis were outstanding and the buffet was very delicious.

Staff were very pleasant and the facilities were top notch.

Wonderful hotel, centrally located

I like the property but didn't realize the bar was nearby. We didn't sleep at all due to the loud noise all night long.

We have been staying at the Electra Metropolis now for several years. The staff is amazing very friendly and very accommodating. You cannot beat the location and there’s easy access to amazing restaurants, tourist, attractions, and sites.

It was beautifully decorated, with very comfortable bedding and bath amenities and our view was wonderful. Lovely staff greeted us upon arrival and the location was perfect.

From the moment we entered the lobby the service was impeccable. We arrived a few hours earlier than our check-in to drop off our bags, and they gave us the room on the spot. Room was spacious and elegant with a very generously sized balcony. The rooftop restaurant with amazing views of the Acropolis was the icing on the cake for our stay. We loved our time there and will return again.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel. The room was very clean, and the facilities were very modern and sleek. There was some noise from the street outside quite late into the night which could be an issue for light sleepers. Otherwise a wonderful stay!
