Excellent stay and great hospitality. Very nice, charming little hotel with very comfortable rooms. Excellent service and great breakfast.

Wonderful!

Olivier was a wonderful host. He carried my bag upstairs for me! The pool/garden are and patio next to our room were very comfortable places to relax. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious down to the freshly made crepes with himemade compotes. Free parking right next to the house.

Great Stay

We stayed overnight before going to the Caminito del Rey in the morning.The B & B was awesome!! The hosts were great!! We had dinner and drinks out by the pool and it was really, really good. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We really enjoyed staying here and our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. Thanks Brad & Kris

The host, Olivier, was most welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. It was an incredible rustic building and our room even had an amazing vaulted ceiling.

Fabulous place

Beautiful place nestled at the base of Alóra very convenient for access to El Chorro and Málaga. Owner Olivier was very helpful. Breakfasts were lovely, and the garden/pool a refreshing oasis.

A Great Place to Stay

We had a great time here, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Oliver to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. Great choice of food for breakfast and they were happy to make us an omelette when we asked! We ate here on 2 evenings, due to not many local restaurants being open (Sunday and Monday) and the food was very nice. The pool is lovely and much bigger than I was expecting for such a small hotel. Sun beds would benefit from having shade provided by umbrella’s as they didn’t fall into shade until late in the afternoon. Our room was big enough and had an air-con unit which was needed. The hotel provides 4 hours of air-con use daily and you can top this up at a cost of €1 for every additional 4 hours. The bathroom was very clean and modern. We would recommend El Cielo Azul for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Wonderful, very friendly and attentive owners. Our room overlooked a train station - but it was not a bother and sort of charming in its own way. The family room was big, comfortable and clean. We felt really welcomed and looked after. The breakfast was a nice treat.

This hotel is delightful! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. We loved everything about this hotel. It is charming, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was superb. We enjoyed a night cap from the bar in front of a warm stove in the living room . The weather was cold this January so every comfort was provided. Olivier, the owner looked after us very well and we will definitely return. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the train station and there is a bus nearby which takes you to town centre in 5 minutes. It is also possible to walk up to visit the Arab Castle from the hotel. A steep walk but worth it! I cannot recommend El Cielo Azul highly enough. Be sure to stay there if you’re visiting Alora .

Great hospitality. Very helpful with local ideas. Nice relaxing space near town and train station. Owners couldn’t be better.

Everything is just perfect! We can’t expect more: the comfort, the kindness, the generosity and the delicious breakfast! We will certainly come back again!

You must stay here! What a gem of a place. These are the reasons: 1. Close to train line to Malaga 1hr ride.The then itself..lovely white pueblo with a castle to explore. 2. The owners.Very friendly , helpful with maps of the area. 3. The rooms . Huge with big bay windows. Really nice ensuite with a shower that doesn't throw water all over the floor. Lashings of hot water. Good lighting to see what you look like in the morning..sometimes maybe not so good. Tea, coffee , water in room. 3. The breakfast and ....THE BREAKFAST. you name it, it's there. Square toast finally, Fruit, real juice, pancakes and a small but full buffet cheese, meats, breads , 6 types of jams, 4. Their beautiful German Shepherd, Chung,(elephant in Thai). Gentle, cuddly,will greet you with a bark and then fall back into a coma. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF HIM. Looks tough but isn't. Two naughty cats who played with me in my room.

Excelente! Un paraíso!

De 10! Instalaciones muy limpias, habitaciones amplias luminosas, baños nuevos y muy limpios, cama y almohadas comodísimas, lugar silenciosos y el desayuno muy completo y rico. Además comimos allí y cantidades abundantes y ricas. Oliver cuida hasta el más mínimo detalle. El patio es precioso y la piscina soleada y al haber pocas habitaciones prácticamente dispones de las instalaciones para tí. Lugar para relajarse y para repetir! Muy recomendable!

Trésor caché à découvrir.

La beauté des lieux intérieurs et de la cours sont exceptionnels. B&B de grande qualité en commençant par l’accueil de notre hôte et de ses services. En plus il parle français qui est un plus pour nous. La cours aménagée en jardin et ayant une belle piscine ce décor nous a convaincu de prendre nos repas du soir sur place. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est copieux et plusieurs produits fait maison. Bon choix de bières belges, locales et européennes. Bien situé pour se promener dans la région comme le Caminito del rey. Avantage d’être accessible en train car adossé à la gare mais sans ses inconvénients. Coin très tranquille.

Das Zimmer war sauber, etwas eng, sonst aber in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war gut.

Location was great: close to train station and free parking for rental car. Rooms were impressive with high ceilings! Breakfast was excellent with buffet, fruit salad and crepes. In the evenings there was food and local Belgium refreshments available to purchase at the lobby. The entertainment was guaranteed by 3 lively cats and the calmest dog ever! We enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommending

We stayed in El Cielo Azul for one week in november. It was a really pleasant stay. Everything was clean and cosy, breakfast was good and the owners were very friendy and helpful.

Encantador

Un hotel precioso, limpísimo, encantador. La piscina muy limpia también y pudimos usarla por la noche. Desayuno rico y abundante. Volveré sin duda.

O atendimento foi impecável. Porem, pelo preço alto da hospedagem, a localização não é boa, o pequeno almoço ficou a desejar e o ar condicionado so pode ser usado por 4 horas. A pousada é aconchegante e limpa, mas o preço poderia ter sido equivalente ao que oferecem.
