Great location. Fantastic spacious rooms and excellent rooftop bar. Breakfast was ok, staff pleasant but not overly helpful Unlike a 5-star service but again location is excellent for travelers and large room, bathroom makes a longer stay far more fun and relaxing. Oh I must say WiFi was terrible in the room .. for all the folks who love to spend time browsing … you will not have any network lying down in bed!!

I highly recommend this gorgeous property in the most ideal location to tour Rome just steps from the Piazza Navona, close to numerous famous landmarks, restaurants and shopping. The staff was amazing prior to check in answering within minutes any questions or doubts, this impeccable service and attention continued during our stay and at check out. We were traveling with our teenage daughter and got a suite which had a separate room with a pull out sofa which was spacious with comfortable, luxurious bedding. It was made up prior to our check in which was so nice. We loved our room as it was so spacious, very clean, sleek and modern. A delicious and complete breakfast was served every morning which was a welcome extra bonus saving us time before touring. I highly recommend this unique, historic property as it was perfect in every way. I definitely will stay here again on my next trip to Rome.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 7 days and we chose the Deluxe Suite King Bed with Sofa bed. We arrived a few hours early before check in so reception was able to hold our bags until we checked it. We were so surprised that everything is so close! We stumbled upon Piazza Navona, Sant'Agnese in Agone, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain all within a few hours of arriving! We were simply looking for a good place to eat and ended up checking off some places on our must see list. This is a fantastic location to stay in! Hospitality is excellent at this location. Once we checked in we were blown away with our room. It was so spacious and it had a beautiful layout. The architecture was so amazing. As previously mentioned, everything is a close walking distance. After trying out many highly rated eateries, we found our favorite restaurant less than 5 minutes away! If you stay at Etich definitely make sure to check out Ristorante Pizzeria Navona Notte. The staff and locals are very friendly and accommodating. Back to Hotel Etich. We opted to get breakfast with our booking and their breakfast did not disappoint. It’s buffet style with so many fresh options to choose from. Their cappuccino’s are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel we have no complaints. We will definitely be back, thank you hotel Etich and staff for an amazing experience!

Hotel was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Service excellent.

This is a gorgeous property. The people at the front desk were wonderful. However, there were some HUGE problems. First of all, if you are a family, DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel hosted a rave wedding the night we stayed there. Literal partying, throbbing bass, people screaming until 2;30 am. What 5 star hotel would do this anywhere in the world? This is NOT a Hotel for FAMILIES or people over 22. Also, they did not bother to get to know us. I returned from dinner and was questioned at the door for entrance, which is very unseemly. I said, “Buona Sera” to the doorman and he responded with, “Are you staying at this hotel?” I said, “Yes,” but that should have been obvious. I am a middle-aged American Banker. This was unacceptable. Also, the rooms are gorgeous and gigantic, but also very institutional. You feel as if you are sleeping in a grand room at your university. The walls are un-decorated and the furniture is sparse. It is a bunch of big, empty, cold, spaces. The views are amazing, the location is amazing, the bathroom was very nice, the courtyard was gorgeous and peaceful, until the rave started. So if you have a family or value sleeping, do not stay here.

Right near all the night life

The property was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and sites. The room did not have any drawers to place our clothes from our luggage. However, the room was lovely.

Hotel is in the perfect location to walk anywhere in Rome. The staff is amazingly helpful and thoughtful. They make sure you have everything you need and feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful and the rooftop restaurant serves amazing food. We highly recommend.

This is a is first rate classic boutique hotel. Rooms are small but the historic character charm and attentive service feel very old world. Breakfast was fine and the rooftop bar is divine.

Eitch Borromini Palazzo Pamphilj is a gorgeous 17th century palace on Piazza Navona. The rooms and suite have all the modern amenities of a new hotel. Noteworthy…. The palace is on flat ground.

Perfect location right off Piazza Navona. Walkable to many restaurants. The hotel itself has a great history in Italy. You feel like you are back in time of the famous Palazzo's in Italy, yet modern day amenities. Staff is very helpful a must stay.

This was my second trip to this hotel and I would not stay anywhere else. This is an exceptional hotel right of the Piazza Navona, a short walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, and Castle San Angelo. The rooms are splendid and grand. The staff very accommodating and again you can’t beat the location. Love this place.

The staff was fantastic. They stored our bags when we got there 5 hours before check in and we were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included and until 1030 which was very convenient. They were excellent with taxi service, and overall, we had zero issues! Some minor issues were that the phone line didn’t work so I had to go all the way down and there’s only one lift so it could take time. We had a freak monsoon, the window slightly leaked. It wasn’t fully shutting anyway, because we could hear the music from the streets well past bedtime around 0030 or beyond. Overall beautiful view of neighboring facilities, the breakfast was on the terrazzo was beautiful and we truly felt at ease here.

Close to Piazza Navona and within 10-15 min walk from lots of things to see!

Very stylish building in the heart of Rome, that has wonderful breakfast either inside or outside on level 4 and a surpurb cocktail bar on the top floor. Very chic.

The absolute best attentiveness – the staff is incredible – Dragoz, Cristiano, Stefano, Manuel— Handled every little hiccup, provided a warm, gracious welcome, Breakfast Terrace was delightful; dinner restaurant exceptional; architecture was stunning; the location is the finest in Rome for being in the center of everything, Piazza Navonna!

Wonderful setting for a Roman vacation

Beautiful setting. The breakfast room and rooftop terrace overlook Piazza Navona and is right next to Borromini’s Cathedral. Room is spacious and has all the amenities.

The property is well located but does not meet the standard for a 4 star hotel. It has charm but it’s not well thought out. Tiny mirrors is the superior suite washroom that make it impossible to have two people use them. No make up or shaving mirror. No guides for the hotel or the area in the room. The staff were courteous but not helpful. Restaurant was average. Only ate there once. The rooftop bar is separately owned and managed and treats hotel guest terribly. It’s open to the public which seems to be their priority. It’s also only has evening hours. If you want to use it you have to make a reservation ahead of time. We did, got an awful bench seat with no view and waited 20 minutes for a server; we left.

What an incredible hotel and staff. Everything we expected and more. Breakfast was great. Beautiful terrace. Restaurants and shops outside your door. Staff was top notch and super helpful. World ass hotel in every way!! You will not regret this one!!

This hotel was really a perfect spot. I wanted to be near the Piazza Navona and we were right there!

My only comment is that this hoteldoesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel, rather a 3.5 or 4 star. The only highlight I’d say is the bathroom. We booked a suite with a view of Piazza Navona , and the bathroom was very large and nice . The breakfast is not very good, the food selection is minimal . A 5 star hotel would serve cappuccino’s at their buffet , have a decent comfortable lobby for waiting . The location is in the heart of tourist town . Our suite was $1000/night, not worth the money in my opinion. Staff was friendly , room was clean.

Amazing location. Steps from main city attractions. Property was ok for a 4-star hotel. Nothing extraordinary- just regular suit. It was clean and all but it was noisy at night due to all the crowd outside and cleaning people on the street (3-4AM). We found a silverfish on our bed!! Just one and never saw another one. That creeped my wife but I was ok— it’s just a bug. Breakfast was good. Staff were nice and helpful.

Not what you expect...and not in a good way

We had high hopes for this hotel but we're quickly disappointed. The room itself is beautiful with high ceilings and excellent lighting. The TV and extra large bed was nice as was the furnishings. But after that we really disliked this place. The bed while nice and big was very hard and springy. You will not sleep well unless you like uncomfortable beds. The noise from outside feels like it is inside your room. It is so loud at all hours of the day and night. The room had a dirty spoon in it when we checked in, which means it was not cleaned thoroughly. It was very hot in the room, the tech told us that in the winter the AC is turned off and to open a window, which means more noise. They also don't tell you that they have an abnormally small water heater. Shower quick or itis an ice cold shower, I got about 7 minutes of hot water. That was horrible. When they cleaned the room the second night they didn't supply more toilet paper. Overall, I thought this property was way too expensive for what you get. We will not be staying here ever again, save your money stay somewhere else.

Best place to stay in Rome

The hotel is or was part of a church. It is in an excellent location near Piazza Navona. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There is a nice courtyard, but the terrace is wonderful. Make reservations though. Well worth the view over Rome. Breakfast on the breakfast terrace was wonderful as well. The staff was very attentive, and the selection good. The rooms were very comfortable.

Staff was so kind and accommodating. The location was perfection. Easy to walk (Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon within a 10-15 min walk). A lot of dining options surrounding the hotel. We went during December, there was a beautiful Christmas market right outside. To be completely transparent it did get a little loud because our room was right under the restaurant. If noise bothers you bring some ear plugs. Overall, it didn’t bother us, but just wanted to be honest. 10/10 would stay again!

The service was amazing; the front desk was incredibly helpful and always willing to assist and/or answer questions. The response time over email was also really fast. Our room had a heated towel rack which was really nice. The location of the hotel was also quite convenient. It’s right next to the Piazza Navona, which is within walking distance of pretty much all of central Rome. Every landmark or tourist spot can be accessed in under 30 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience.

What an amazing experience at Hotel Eitch Borromini. Staff was super nice and very helpful in making recommendations. We really enjoyed the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to Pantheon and Trevi fountain area of Rome. Perfect place to stay while in Rome.

Disappointed with the stay. Nobody came to clean our room. After multiple requests for towels to be changed we finally got them 1.5 hrs later. My card was charged twice. They said I will receive a credit and I’m still waiting several days later. I most likely wouldn’t stay again. Overall disappointed as I was expecting better

This gorgeous hotel was once a church. It’s so beautiful. Rooms are very European. Extremely high ceilings. , clean, spacious, stefano at reception is a gem.

Great location to everything in Rome. The customer service was excellent at the hotel. The big plus for us was the room was well airconditioned and cold during the hot summer days.

Historic building and location where a plus. Close to restaurant, shopping and attraction were a big plus however because of this evening’s could become extremely noisy making it difficult to sleep

We stayed at the Eitch Borromini last year and had an exceptional experience, but this time while the staff were as polite and accommodating as ever, we were in a deluxe suite that didn’t really meet our expectations. The suite was in a private entrance that didn’t feel very safe as it was in an unguarded busy thru way, the shower only held about 10 mins of hot water, and then you’d have to wait 20-30 mins for it to refill, there was no view, except into other windows in the thru way/alley way and the room itself was not as nicely furnished as the other spaces we stayed in and observed last year. Lastly, the steps to bring baggage up were very steep. The property has a deep and rich history so it may be wasn’t the right room for us given we were looking for more luxury. Overall, the area is top notch and perfect for getting to historical landmarks, great restaurants and even a pharmacy and local store for all your needs.

We love our stay there except the towels not providing enough. Also not cleaning after left over coffee cups after rooms were made. WiFi was not stable where you have to call the front desk quite often. Other then those, front desk and bell boy were excellent to accommodate you; location was perfect and room was magnificent. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Gorgeous hotel in the most central location in Rome! Rooms were very spacious and luxurious with great bathrooms and showers. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was amazing with seating areas on the roof.

Best Location!

This hotel is situated in an excellent location for walking to many highlights in the city. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous.

The property was in a great location. Lots if great restaurants near by. Some of the staff was excellent. Drawback getting a reservation in the restaurant is impossible and no one told us we had to have reservations to even use the bar. This leads to no in hotel options to eat.

Central location

Beautiful hotel. Good central location for anything in Rome. The staff was okay, not great. The door greeters (bouncers) at the entrance never acknowledged us. Which is fine, but one time we left the hotel. In less than 30 seconds I realized I needed a heavier coat. When I returned to the hotel, the same person who just saw me leaving, questioned me about whether I was a guest. I just waved my room card at him. Good thing he was paying attention to who was coming and going? The shower is horrible. There is an attachment that doesn’t work well. Waterfall shower is fine, but I don’t always want to wash my hair. The rooftop bar is not part of the hotel. If you want to just hang out and enjoy the view, you will be kicked out. The breakfast in the morning was fine. But the coffee was lukewarm at best. I asked for the coffee to be microwaved. I’m not sure what the server did, but the coffee wasn’t much warmer when I received it again. I even asked for a cappuccino, and it was barely warm and almost all milk. The next day, same basically cold coffee. Despite the issues, we might stay again when in Rome.

Loved this hotel and location!

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was in a perfect location directly overlooking the Piazza Novona in Rome and we walked to everything. The staff was excellent, helpful and responsive. The rooftop bar offers a terrific view and although reservations are filled by outside Romans enjoying it, as guests we were given priority and did not have any trouble using it. The breakfast room is on an upper floor and offers and lovely view of the Piazza - what a fantastic way to being a day in Rome! The room was large by Rome standards and the bathroom was the nicest and largest of the hotels we stayed on our two week tour of Italy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely property!!

The property was so convenient to all the piazzas. The front desk staff were amazing. The rooms were so so small - no frills - no turn down service - Breakfast was very basic - it cost extra to get an orange juice and a cappuccino (really?!!)

Rooftop bar ‘very’ expensive. Staff cleaned room ok - room & hallway floors need upgrades. Elevator needs much more lighting. Room was too warm, even w heat & towel rack off. Front desk staff forgot to give us our requested 7 AM wake-up ph call - I called desk about this & was told they did not have a note about this - an unsatisfactory response. Breakfast was sufficient, varied, & tasty. Breakfast staff were Great - friendly & very responsive to questions & few needs we had. Open courtyard in building interior lacked good lighting & was not ‘welcoming’. Courtyard was being used to store construction materials - toilets, large tile, pallets, etc. Neighborhood outside of hotel was nice with lots of restaurants & relatively easy walks to a few attractions. Wonderful hotel

I love this hotel. This was our second stay with them. The rooms and the hotel are beautiful, wrt clean, well appointed and well air conditioned. The beds are very comfortable and there is a lot of space in the rooms. They have a lovely breakfast and breakfast area overlooking a piazza. The location is perfect. You’re in the heart of the city, but not in the heart of tourist traffic. Walking distance to all of the major attractions It’s a very safe area surrounded by charming little restaurants and shops; cobblestone streets. The hotel backs up to a beautiful piazza. The roof top bar (make reservations) is spectacular!! Our room faced the back of the hotel and it was a little noisy. Our children, who were traveling with us but in another room, didn’t hear anything, but my husband did. I would request a higher floor or a room not facing the back of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very early flight and they arranged for two cars for us. It really is just a great hotel and location.

The staff at Eitch were very friendly and accommodating our entire stay. We had one problem with the shower and staff stepped in immediately to address the situation and offer a solution. The hotel is an incredible and important piece of history and overlooks Piazza Navona. You will not be disappointed with your stay and will quickly experience the warmth of the Italian people when interacting with the staff!

We stayed for 3 days at the Eitch Borromini and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It is clean, well run and ideally located on the Piazza Navona. It is a rare treat to stay in a modernized 17th century masterpiece! ~Geoff
