Excellent stay in Catania

Very good stay. Super helpful host. Thank you heaps!

The process for getting into the property just didnt work. There is nobody there, communication was poor and no consideration is given to the customer. Nothing was explained in the booking of how you get access. I was not given the facilities booked and felt very dissapointed and angry.

On arrival the property owner was unreachable. I had to wait outside the entrance for 30 minutes before he finally responded to tell me the code to enter. There were strange awkward messages from both the owner and his wife; they clearly were not communicating with each other about anything. Furthermore, This property was so incredibly unprofessional I called the police to get assistance to retrieve my things when I switched accommodations because the owner illegally entered my room at 8:30 pm, unannounced, to desperately search for his city tax (supposed to be collected at the end of your stay and wanted more than the stated amount on Expedia). After the owner arrived & finally opened the door he stood in front of it aggressively motioning for me to go inside while blocking the entrance so I had to step in sideways to get through the door way. Then he stood outside and asked if I would open the door or if he could open the door. He forced me to open the door and he repeatedly told me, ‘this is my wife,’ as if that was relevant to the issues. The insistence on telling me this multiple times made me think that he’s a terrible person who uses his wife as a human shield to prove he is a good person. There was zero respect for my privacy or personal control over the room as my own space. This was the most uncomfortable situation I have ever been in on vacation. This property should not even be on Expedia. Words cannot describe how terrible this experience was.

Highly recommended

Saved me from awful stay in City-in hostel. Bernardo is great host, friendly and supportive. The room was clean, big and with a little breakfast prepared by host, free of charge. The distance of city centre and Catania Centrale is 20min on foot, lots of restaurants in neighbourhood.

It was no a/c however they did provide a fan which help throughout the evening

ok for short stay. Far from airport 25euros 1 way. Walking distance to metro. Owner is helpful. No front desk staff.

Majoituspaikkaan oli ihan sopiva minun ja poikani vierailulle. Huoneisto oli siisti ja vuode myös ihan OK. Yhteisessä keittiössä oli hyvä varustelu. Ainoa heikkous oli huono WI-FI-yhteys.

Prima verblijf, maar zonder airco niet te doen.

Rent og rolig

Var kun innom for en natt sen ankomst og reiste videre tidlig neste morgen. veldig rent både rom, bad og kjøkken. Rolig område. Store luftige rom. Veldig bra med personale som snakker engelsk.

Bella localizazione ed estrutura. Tutto pulito. Colazione sufficiente.

Buona esperienza di soggiorno.

Bed&Breakfast senza troppe pretese, pulito, discreto con cucina e area colazione comodi e utili anche per autogestirsi. Non tutte le camere sono con bagno, la mia lo era e devo dire l'ho trovata ampia e pulita, cosi come il bagno e un pezzo di corridoio adibito a disimpegno utile sia per la colazione, che ho potuto fare in camera, sia per il lavoro personale. Parcheggio nei paraggi a pagamento sulle strisce blu, area tranquilla e vicina al bellissimo corso Italia.

I profumi di casa!

Sono stata molto entusiasta del Bed & Breakfast! Mi sono sentita a casa! La biancheria profumata e tutto molto pulito e ben organizzato! Bravi!
