Only the parking was a bit remote but everything else was perfect

Centrally located, exceptional receptionists, pleasant stay overall, highly recommended for Varna.

The hotel’s central location is great, which is a boon for travelers. But in this case, it doesn’t end there; Efbet Hotel is surrounded by almost anything anyone might need - restaurants, bars, abbonda shopping, a theater and an opera house. And as if all that wasn’t enough, the beech is only minutes away, as is access to the railway station, buses and taxis. The hotel itself has a games saloon, bar and restaurant. The security arrangements are laudable, as is the easy access ironing board and free internet. The cleanliness standards are excellent as the staff, who are very discreet, polite a nd professional. All in all, Efbet Hotel is a rare find , even for an experienced traveler like me. Impressive.

It's conveniently located in the Nezavisimost square and in walking distance to all kinds of options of restaurants, shopping places and cafes, as well as to museums, opera house, and sea garden. Very affordable price for such a place to stay. It's very quiet. The breakfast is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. The single bed room is a bit small but it functions fine once you are used to it. The only downside when I was staying is the sink smelled but they fixed it after a couple of days, and the 1st floor is a casino so it has a strong cigarette smell but the upstairs where the guest rooms are are fine. Overall, I like this place and would choose it again if I go back.

Great location and renovated building. We loved the service and the experience. The only concern was that the rooms had funny smell the first night but it went away after! Also they provide some coupons if interested in gambling in the downstairs casino ;)

Nice central location

Efbet Hotel is conveniently located right in the centre of Varna. The Efbet Casino is in the same building, so convenient if you're interested in gambling. On check-in, the front desk gave us a free "Pay 10 Lev, get 20 Lev free" coupon for use in the casino. The check-in staff were fine, spoke good English, and were very helpful. The single room I had was small, but space enough for one person. The décor is kind of old, but still functional, although I felt the room was a bit dark. The bathrooms seems to have been modernised and are quite good, with modern fittings. The only problem we had was with car parking near the hotel. The hotel is located on a pedestrianised area, so you can't drive to the entrance itself. You have to find a parking space in streets further away and then carry your bags some distance to the hotel. We found a parking lot about three minutes walk away which cost 12 Lev for overnight parking.

Good hotel on the main pedestrian zone

Good hotel in the middle of the city on the pedestrian zone. Very spacious room and friendly staff. The entrance is shared with a casino, which is on the ground floor. But otherwise its good value for money (i stayed there in peak season)

Pleasant casino hotel in central Varna

Convenient location in central Varna, large comfortable room. The hotel was very quiet when we were there, I think there were hardly any guests, the staff were falling over themselves to help us. The receptionist was very friendly and offered us Bulgarian Easter cake. We were given vouchers for free bets in the casino which we used and made a small profit on :-) The casino was also very quiet and the croupiers looked very bored whenever we walked past, but were lovely and friendly when we did go inside. My only complaint was that, being a casino, it smelled of smoke, including the bedroom.

A pleasant 4 nights stay

The hotel was very nice and very clean. It would have gotten top marks but there were renovations going on which meant it was a bit noisy at times and the restaurant wasn't open so we had to go to the cafe on the corner for (included) breakfast. Other than that, it was a nice hotel and the delux twin room was very nice and a really good size (the beds were v.comfortable) also had a nice bathroom

Perfectly Located on the Main Square

The hotel location was absolutely perfect, right on the main square with a view of the fountain. The staff was lovely, the breakfast good, the room excellent, no complaints.

Very pleasant stay

Hotel is well located for walking and shopping. Breakfast is pleasant and satisfying. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very pleasant and speak English very well. As I worked at the computer in the evening it was difficult as there is no hard back chair to set on. One was furnished from the Bar/Lounge for the remainder of my stay. I would definitely go back.

3 Star Hotel, NOT 4 Star

I was really amazed when I arriveved at the front of the hotel, It was just 3 star, not 4 star. I looked for and reserved a 4 star hotel and I should stay at a 3 star hotel !!!

Good quality hotel in the centre of Varna

Overall a good experience, with facilities such as a communal iron and ironing board in the corridor. I would have preferred not to be told that I cannot take the iron into the room though, as I had more than one item to iron so coming in and out of the room was a bit of a nuisance considering one of the items was a formal dress. The only issue, which we eventually discussed with the hotel manager was that we were turned away from the breakfast room during normal breakfast hours. There were plenty of tables available, but because they use some of the tables for betting, the member of staff was inflexible to set up an additional table in the betting area. We received an apology at the end of our stay from the hotel manager, though it did not really make up for the day we were forced to have breakfast outside the hotel.

good location for the beach and sightseeing

The only problem was breakfast after my first night at the hotel. I even had to ask for butter to make toast. However, the second day's breakfast was well prepared.

Excellent value & great service hotel

Excellent value hotel in great location in centre of town, having stayed at several hotels in Varna I would recommened this one and will stay there again. Girls at reception were exceptionally helpful, room comfortable and modern with good shower and for a short trip was a great choice.

Simply amazing!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff is EXTREMELY polite and knowledgeable, the hotel is recently redone and just flawless. It is located right in the central pedestrian area of the city, so not on the beach, but right next to shopping and dining.

Excelente atención me facilitaron el early check in, aunque mi esposo había sido el que llamó un día antes para preguntar y le habían dicho que no había problema pero la nueva señorita del día en que llegue al parecer no le dejaron nota entonces estaba extrañada por la petición. Pero al final lo consedieron y estoy agradecida después de un viaje de 20 horas necesitaba el cuarto urgentemente! Todo limpio , no había ruido. Solo la cama era muy dura y el cuarto un tanto oscuro sería bueno una renovada en colores para que se note más luz en los cuartos! Todo perfecto, buena localización! Gracias

Absolument pas la chambre réservée, la réceptionniste n’a rien voulu entendre disant que tout était complet. Une vue dur ville qui se transforme en vue sur toit. Pas de parking,comme annoncé, se garer quelques rues plus loin et venir avec les valises une vraie galère comme pour trouver l’hôtel. À l’arrivée, On tombe sur un casino !!! Le petit déjeuner est bien. Et si vous n’avez pas de voiture l’hôtel est central

Zentral in Varna gelegen, kein Partytourismus in der Nähe. Rezeption zum Teil deutschsprachig und sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück sehr gut und preiswert (10lew). Kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm.

Emplacement central idéal, l'accueil et le service très professionnels, petit déjeuner à choix multiples copieux. Par contre une odeur persistante dans la chambre sans doute due à des clients précédents indélicats ayant fumé .....

Saubere zentrale Unterkunft mit sehr nettem 24 Std. Service. Mit sicherem Parkplatz 200m vom Hotel. Parken ist gratis man muss den Parkschein aber vom Hotel stempeln lassen.

Mukava, siisti pieni hotelli kävelykatualueella aukion laidalla, ei liikenteen melua, vain suihkulähteen musiikki ja katusoittajia. Osa henkilökunnasta ei puhunut riittävästi englantia... Lähellä monia ravintoloita ja kauppoja sekä tuomiokirkko. Aamupala tilattiin listalta eri vaihtoehdoista ja oli riitävä, alkuepäilyistä huolimatta. Ranta on mukavan kävelymatkan päässä. Myös puistoon ja museoihin on sopiva kävelymatka. Bussit kulkevat tuomiokirkon luota ja sieltä löytyy myös takseja.

Good location

Location was excellent, in the very citycenter. At the pedestrian area, close to shops and restaurants. Not far to walk to the Seapark and to the beach. The bed was comfortable and my room was very quiet. The breakfast was rich with different choices. I can recommend the hotel and would like to stay there again.
