Good useful hotel with excellent staff. Would use again.

A lot of pluses, a huge minus, good service

First the good: nice lobby, super good lobby and kitchen staff, very convenient to metro, great hot water shower, big bath tub. 100 meters to good grocery store and cafes. Clean self serve laundry right across the street. The bad: all hallway walls very dinged up and desperately need new wallpaper for ALL the tears, room wall corners and tub caulk very bad condition. The very bad: the room we were given should NEVER have been rented out. The ceiling hall had a huge (6 inches) black water spot on the ceiling. We didnt see it when we checked in as we were very tired from travel. We saw it the next morning but had plans for the day that were tight, so we didnt ask for a new room. Also the bath smelled of a sewer leak. The next night it started raining from the black spot. The very good: at midnight the front desk person quickly got us into a new room that was in 8/10 repair state (so a nice enough room).

We regularly use Eco Via Lusitana for family visits and always find the staff friendly and the rooms comfortable. The breakfasts are very good. There is an in-house cafe/bar with reasonably priced snacks, open through the day. The surrounding area is not great and access to the city centre isn't easy until you have mastered the bus and metro network.

Bad apple in the heaven

Overall the stay was almost perfect. Maria José, Nacho, Lucia were exceptionally friendy and went beyond to help me. The cleaners were patient and understanding and catered to my need. Hotel is 2min from metro and bus stops. 2 supermarkets within 100m. Almost excellent stay but 1 dishonest staff Nino tried to charge me for things I did not touch. I would ask the direction to remove him as he is tarnishing the good work of the other staffs. He wanted to charge me for all products in room fridge even though I did not touch them. Otherwise, the rest was perfect.

Not bad

Told we had to use their taxi service that they were under contract with. This taxi charged us twice the amount that other taxis we chose for the same mileage. To charge people 10 euros for such a minimal selection of breakfast food is crazy. We went and bought food at a local market to last 4 days for 17 euros. Finally, when we asked if there was a laundromat nearby, the desk clerk stated they handled it and gave me a charge sheet. One women's blouse would cost 7 Euros and the minimum of garments was three. Later we discovered a laundromat across the street in the same block.

Hotel was nice. Staff spoke English. Would stay again.

Pity about the air - conditioning

Clean and convenient but no extras like tea and coffee makers. Reception staff nice and breakfast good value. Would have got a smiley face if the air - conditioning had worked. As it was we had to sleep with the windows open.

Pleasant

Good hotel, typical Holiday Inn / Premier Inn type set up. Room was clean but would of liked tea/coffee making facilities but no big deal. Fairly quiet area located just off a main road but was not disturbed by it at all. Metro station literally 2 min walk away giving access to central Madrid. Supermarket literally next door. Staff very helpful and friendly and have good English speech and understanding. Overall fairly satisfied and would recommend.

Good value for money in Carabanchel, Madrid.

The room was fine, although the bathroom was a bit smelly. The bed was fine. WIFI worked well. The possibility of having breakfast there was good, including the more basic options. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was ideally situated for the conference we were attending nearby.

Clean hotel. But....

Old bulky furniture. Small room...tiny TV...no good TV channels...Very minimal aminities. You can hear what is happening in the next room.. thin walls... Electricity cut many times during my stsy. No security for room windows (if you have children) No high speed internet... Common Areas are acceptable. Far from city...

Great location for metro

Stayed at this hotel twice as it is perfect for getting metro. Metro station is only 2 min walk away. Takes 45 mins switching trains twice to get to bernebau stadium. There's a shopping centre few mins away with some good clothes shops. Only downside is no pubs, and I'm Irish lol

Too far from center

Very nice hotel with a metro stop pretty close and a mall. But that's it. Too far from central area Wouldn't recommend to anyone touring Madrid and it's on the opposite side of the airport too

not bad

Nice hotel...a bit far out of centre--but 5 mins from metro San Francisco. Decent bar, prices, nice staff, rooms ok All in all not bad at all. But I have to say, having been stuck in bed with the flu here for 2 days, the lack of ANY foreign language tv was a big disappointment.Even BBC world is better than nothing!

Great location in Madrid... Vents in my room were not working. The hotel needs to upgrade to overhaul its interior. Hope this is helpful.

comfortable and practical

Staff really went above and beyond to be helpful, really nice. Rooms were comfortable but not soundproof, so one can hear noise from both other rooms and passersby in hallway. Wifi was good and free, and price made it a pleasing economical choice for the traveller seeking a comfortable base. Would definitely go back, much better than other hotels with higher star ratings and twice the price.

The worst night ever

Smoke alarm light was blinking all night and the exit light on top of door was on all night. Walls were like paper and you could hear every word of the people next door. We couldn't sleep all night because people next door were speaking loud all night. We got the worse room next to the elevator so people were coming and going all the time. No privacy whatsoever.Bed was uncomfortable. Not worth the price for sure. Never again will we stay in that hotel.Only good thing was free parking next to the hotel.

Fist impression was 5 star hotel for the price of 3 star. The hotel staff if brilliant. You get there everything, is you travel just for a day or week you do not need to take any toiletries because they supply everything. They have safe in the rooms. I did not use I think you have to ask for the card in reception. They give you card to use Internet free of charged. I did not book breakfast so I don’t know how breakfast is. Hotel location is lit bit out of City, but by Metro is just 15 minute to SOL that is City centre. You have to take Lane 11 going to San Louise stop. On them website you can see map and is shows the Pan Bedito stop, but you go 1more stop and it stops just 2 min to hotel. If you take Metro from Airport is 50minutes to go. Lane 8 then Lane 6 and then is Lane 11 and there you are. Lovely hotel next time I go to Madrid definatly I book this hotel.

Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und gute Auswahl beim Frühstück. Das Hotel befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, aber von uns bewusst so ausgesucht. Sowohl Bus- als auch Metrohaltestellen sind in der Nähe und direkt nebenan befindet sich ein Supermarkt.

Estuvimos dos días y no pusieron toallas para 2. Sólo para 1 persona los dos días. Por Lo demás habitación es amplia y confortable. Cerca hay varios establecimientos para cenar, muy buena comida.

En líneas generales todo bien

El hotel es correcto, con un desayuno correcto, quizás se nota algo el desgaste en algunas partes del hotel. Pero en general buena experiencia.

La entrada del alojamiento con baldosas sueltas, sin luz lo cual da pie a que tengas un accidentes. En cuanto a la habitación, el precio no sé corresponde con lo que ofrecen. Pareces sucias, ventanas que no cierran, mosquitos en las habitaciones, techos sucios de goteras y muy muy muy ruidoso ya que por los pasillos no tienen ni moqueta por lo cual cuando pasa la gente por el se escucha todo. Paredes de pladur en el que parece que compartes cuarto.con el vecino. No se merece ni un punto.

Todo muy bien, los recepcionistas muy majos y se descolgó la puerta del armario y nos cambiaron de habitación a las Suite porque no quedaban más habitaciones disponibles en ese momento y sin coste adicional . Hemos ido dos veces a Madrid y si vamos más veces me seguiré alojando en este hotel sin lugar a dudas

El acceso a recepción intransitable y así lleva meses. El aire no funciona así como la caja fuerte. El desayuno sota, caballo y rey.

-Nos gustó porque nos pusieron las habitaciones contiguas, silenciosas y muy buenas camas. Dormimos muy bien. -No nos gustó que el primer dia olia mucho a tabaco en la habitación y hacia mucha calor... Tuvimos que dejar las ventanas abiertas en toda nuestra estacia las 24h.

Estaba muy bien comunicada y cerca del Palacio Vistalegre. Las camas eran muy cómodas y grandes. Además tenía una bañera muy espaciosa. La habitación y el hotel eran preciosos

El personal del hotel muy atento, sin quejas. las habitaciones de un tamaño correcto, pero los colchones y el sillon estaban muy gastaditos. el suelo tambien necesitaria una actualizacion. desde fuera se veia dejado, la puerta giratoria de entrada no funcionaba y costaba mucho moverla. Para una noche, suficiente. Metro y autobuses cerca del hotel.

It was convenient to move around because it was near the subway station. It was so unpleasant that I couldn't eat at breakfast. An employee was in charge of all the breakfast services, so he was complaining loudly as if he were throwing a tableware. It's a terrible hotel I don't want to go again.

Decepcionante. La wifi iba mal, la tele era muy pequeñita. Los enchufes pocos y en el suelo. El aire acondicionado tampoco iba bien. El precio no corresponde con la estancia. Decoracion años 80

Leia antes de reservar, quarto pequeno para 3

Péssima, o quarto pequeno para 3 pessoas, quando comprei pelo hoteis.com informei que eram 2 adultos e 1 criança de 16 anos. E no voucher veio 3 camas, porem o me cobraram a parte pela cama extra, a qual deixava o quarto intransitável. Não conseguia abria a porta do armário. A janela do quarto não fechava direito fazendo que ficasse gelado. O controle de temperatura não permitia ajuste para que pudesse aumentar a temperatura do quarto. Dormimos de agasalho. Outro ponto, o andar cheirava a cigarro e vi um hospede sair do quarto fumando,( Na reserva dizia não fumante) Não mudei por estar muito cansado e ser fim de viagem. Os funcionários são extremamente educados e prestativos, principalmente os da cafeteria e limpeza. Estacionamento pago a parte, porem fácil de utilizar. É afastado do centro, assim se for utilizar transporte publico vai gastar bastante tempo. Estação do metro perto, porem para chegar ao centro histórico são 2 trocas de estações e uns 50 minutos de percurso. Entrono muito bom, com uma pizzaria e dois restaurantes na frente do hotel, bem como 2 supermercados e um mercadinho de frutas muito bom. Lugar tranquilo a noite. Banheiro com boa pressão na agua. Possui geladeira no quarto e um cardápio básico na cafeteria. Achei o preço do café da manha caro pelo que aparentemente oferece.

Lo peor de la habitación son los colchones, son malísimos, muy blandos y se les notan todos los muelles y se te clavan en la espalda. Además el somier hacía ruido cuando hacías el más mínimo movimiento.

El hotel esta bien, hay alfunas desconchones en las paredes en el pasillo y alguna en la habitacion, yo pague 83 euros la noche mas 12 euros de aparcamiento. Lo veo un poco caro, pero estuve agusto, seguro que repito si la habitacion baja de precio,

Buena opción para quedarse en Madrid

Está muy bien ubicado, si vas en coche, la M40 está a cinco minutos, tienes metro y varias líneas de autobuses muy cerca. El personal muy amable, la habitación muy limpia, el desayuno tipo buffet con un poco de todo. Además al lado tienes un lidl y un mercadona por si hace falta una compra de última hora, y a cinco minutos el centro comercial Islazul. Tiene párking, pero en la calle encuentras aparcamiento relativamente fácil. Es una buena opción para quedarse.

Para su nivel necesita más mantenimiento y renovación. El personal, ademas de sonrisa, forzada, debe transmitir empatia y gestionar los problemas con diligencia y eficiencia, no resguardarse en las normas.

El trato del personal, cercano pero sin ser agobiante. Perfecto.
