We always stay at the Nirebo when we are in Echuca the location is so convenient and it is off the highway so no trucks going past at night.

Nirebo

Review of Nirebo I was 5 mins early, greeted in a very surly manner, given "upgrade" after asking for room with view. Initial room I was sent to had no view & not ready, Second meeting very much improved demeanour & request met. on requesting again room with view was given my initial booking- better room by far, however no drinking water (not offered but would have been a thoughtful touch!). Something in bed felt prickly , & back ached , pillows were uncomfortable. But room was quiet, clean, no offensive odours, pleasant & its location super convenient , nice view.

The motel was right in the centre of town which was good for us and there is a cafe/restaurant on site. The rooms were a little tired, but good value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay in quality room, the only negative was the renovations occurring in the Reception area - confusion re where it actually is now. Contractors' vehicles making access to unit difficult.

A comfortable 2 night stay

Very clean and tidy rooms. Wasn’t wrapped with the nightclub music keeping the kids up till 2am.

Close proximity to everything. Rooms very clean. Have stayed before, and will stay again.

Great location

I did not like the bathroom sink being in the kitchenette area, not in the bathroom. Very unhygenic that dishes were to be washed in the same sink that hands are washed in after toileting, :( Also, holes in the carpet & very musty smelling, definitely not worth the money. Wouldnt recommend staying there.

Great for a night or two. Beds are comfy enough and room is clean. Motel is right next to one of the busiest pubs (great for walking to pubs/into town) but think twice if you’re wanting a quiet place to stay.

Stress break for two nights I chose this hotel for it’s convenient location. It was a great location however the room was far smaller than I’d expected. We actually moved the bed away from the wall to enable us to get out of bed in one side. Apart from that the bed was comfy enough and the bedding was adequate. Bathroom etc was clean and fine. Light sleepers might find the music next door an issue on weekends however earplugs were supplied … yes truly! Overall we had a pleasant stay but the little things like, no toaster in room , which was rectified on request, the tear in the carpet at the front door and general tired look might convince us to not choose to stay a second time.

Door loose , loose concrete

The rooms were very clean however very outdated. Need for a major renovation. We stayed in a room which backed onto the band stage of the pub next door. Loud music could be heard until 2am. We were told about the likelihood of some loud noise once we had checked in. We were offered some ear plugs which did little. As it was the long weekend we couldn’t book anywhere else. On the up side the staff were fantastic, very polite and efficient.

Our room was located very close to the Hitel next door which had loud music playing until late. This didn't worry us too much, but if you had children the noise could be too loud for them to sleep.

Our room was very clean with crisp white linen and fresh towels. Although on the small side we were comfy and had everything we needed. Great location with very easy walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, shops and close to the Port of Echuca.

Bedbugs!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! I stayed here Friday 12 April for a wedding nearby. Firstly there are bed bugs! I got bitten all over my neck and back and woke up to find bed bugs under the sheets. I spoke to Linda at reception and told her there were bed bugs and I had been bitten and I had photos to prove it. Her immediate response was “so are you going to post the photos online” which threw me off completely as I was already feeling panicked about the situation. I felt like there was lack of care factor to help. I really doubt they will do anything to fumigate as the issue seemed so minor to her. I was given a refund/not required to pay but that was about it. I asked for a garbage bag to pack my clothes in and given that and pretty much left. The place is also so noisy at night from the pub next door. There is no soundproofing and also lots of people frolicking in the motel carpark at all hours making noise throughout the night. Would avoid this place as there are other cleaner and quieter places to stay around the area.

Property is located next door to a pub / niteclub which is open till 2-3am on the weekends … extremely noisy due to patrons and the music from the pub. Convenience location just not a quiet peaceful location if you are looking for rest.

great value for the price. We really appreciated early access to our room, seeing as we had a lot of gear that we didn't want to leave in our car after being on a houseboat.

Location and parking

Carpet needs cleaning not vacuuming & toilet cistern won't refill & needed 8 × bin buckets to flush it , of course office not open till 7am . Too late.

Weather was amazing! No sleep due to the hotel being so close to the pub! Music went until 2am in the morning. No sound proofing at all.

Overall, the hotel was nice. It’s in a great location. Although the pool was quite dirty so we were unable to go for a swim.

Property was appropriate for my stay, the room and bathroom was clean & tidy, the bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was excellent. Only detriment was the poor reception I was receiving on the Fox TV stations.

We liked the location, staff and amenities We were not aware of the loudness of the Hotel entertainment through the night. Might be worth mentioning for future bookings.

Loved everything about our stay. Clean friendly staff a lot of information about the area and helpfully staff and a very comfy bed. The only thing I would pick on is the music coming from the live band next door on the Friday night.

The staff were good, location very near to everything but make sure not to stay on a Friday or Saturday if you want any sleep. The pub next door plays loud live music till 11.00 and then a DJ takes over until the early hours of the morning.

Easy location to town.

We alerted the receptionist that the tv wouldn't come on. She stood on a chair and fiddled with the plugs. It came on but the channel couldn't be changed or the volume couldn't be altered. We all agreed that the batteries were probably flat in the remote. No further action was taken so we had no tv while we stayed

What a truly wonderful motel…. Loved every second of this stay! The room was lovely, facilities great, the staff member exceptional. To have my favourite restaurant as a possible room service option…. Incredible! Uninterrupted morning swim and great tunes for sleeping

The air conditioner was so noisy and 10x dead flies throughout room and bathroom and at least 6 counted still flying around in room. No wonder I found a can of fly spray in cupboard. 🙁

Location was perfect! Walked everywhere! Staff welcoming and friendly. Rooms clean. Had a great time!

Overall, for a quick stay- where you were just sleeping it was fine but I wouldn't stay there for more than 1 night- too small and very noisy.

Room was basic, neat & tidy. There was a DJ right behind our room til almost 2am both nights. I couldn’t get any sleep. I was offered a room change or refund but we still needed somewhere to stay. Pool was pretty dirty
