Small basic rooms. Better if away from the street.
Like easyjet
It's cheap, so not a decent hotel at all. Room was cold, very small, and I could hear all the noise in the street (I was on the 2nd floor), cars, people talking etc. single glazed window.
Comfortable
A very comfortable room a nice size. Clean and good facilities. Close to city centre
Great area, staff friendly, beds comfy. Issue with loo fixed no problem. Although I knew the rooms were small please please please don’t underestimate how small. You physically could not get to the second bed without climbing over the first.
The hotel is like a storage facility. No hot water in the shower. Staff are only there to charge for early check in or late check out. Not even the tea/coffee are included
Amazing value for money. Outstanding staff.
Good for a one night stay
Good location for city centre. The receptionist was friendly. Although the rooms are basic it was fine for a one night stay. Stayed to visit the Bridgwater hall for a show, only 10 minute walk away. Morrisons local and McDonald’s less than 5 minute walk. Not ideal if you needed to work as poor lighting and no desk or dressing table but fine for a clean bed for the night.
Nice place. Decent price. Very minimal and rooms are too congested. Very loud outside room. Can hear all noise from people walking on the street to those in hallways and in adjacent rooms. Ear plugs are a necessity.
Compact and clean room in a convenient location. Only issue is pillows are a bit too flat for my liking.
They Might Be Giants
My only complaint is that the day-of price went up drastically in the two hours I lost wi-fi on the train.
Does what it says on the tin.
Does what it says on the tin. No frills. Clean and comfortable.
Tiny rooms, Terrible shower - No Pressure.
Room was very cosy, very limited storage, apart the floor! No toilet rolls had to ask twice TV not working correctly was flickering all the time when you stood in entrance Cheap and cheerful for the price we paid any higher £60+ would go elsewhere
Really noisy both outside and inside the hotel, could hear everything and kept me awake most of the night
Great location. The hotel itself is nothing to rave about, but it did the trick. In-suite washrooms are separated only by a pane of glass. So you can hear everything, and partially see if your roommate is using the facilities. Better off taking a walk while they do their business. The hotel also has a rather poor plumbing situation. Poor drainage in the sink and shower, along with a lot of noise from pipes thanks to their exposed nature throughout the building. Great location though which is good enough for me.
Okay room in a pinch
Good room not a lot of space at all there was only a bin in the bathroom and the pillows were almost non existing. Other than that is was a fine room for a one night stay
Loved my stay at Manchester easyHotel it’s super central to the city and train station and the staff are wonderful and always willing to help!
Cheap but good hotel. Clean and staff were friendly
A really great hotel!! Loved the room with the exposed brick interior, super comfy bed, great location and a fantastic price!! Will definitely stay again
.as expected, good 'no frills' hotel - room new and clean and tiny - suggest moving the toilet paper holder so it is not right at one's left knee!!
City Centre Bolthole
Ok, clean but cramped for space, and a noisy building and area.
Great place to stay - would definitely consider returning here
Hotel staff very helpful & polite. Room a bit on the small side, tea & coffee facilities would have been a nice addition to the room.
We are on a night stopover from Manchester airport. Great location, secure, quiet and a great night's sleep. Great value
Very reasonbale price for the centre of Manchester.
It was clean and staff were very helpful i loved the shower Only thing was the room was small And one of the lights wasnt working
Very clean but noisy
Small, neat, very clean, well maintained and very clean
it was great will definitely come again
The coffee machine in the hallway was great.
Nice staff, clean place, really warm and couldn't sleep well!
Does the job for a 1 or 2 night stay. Especially if you just need a place to sleep for a couple hours.
for some funny reason the hotel have adjusted the ac to turn off every hour and the weather was hot .so a very uncomfortable sleep
For what I paid for a double room 177, it was too small didn’t look like what it should of like what was shown on the internet
It’s everything you need and that’s it. Not the most comfortable bed but gets the job done. Great nice staff and a good location.
Everything you would expect from a hotel where all you need is to sleep / shower . However, I wasn’t expecting no wardrobe space and I think a communal hand towel was needed for the bathroom . Isabel on reception was amazing and provided me with extra pillows as I told her I never sleep well away from home - I tend to get migraines without my own pillows ! Isabel was great and very understanding and have me extras which I’m really grateful for !
Glad I gave Easy a chance in Manchester
A good value stay in central Manchester. Comparable with the Old St Hotel I'm very familiar with except smaller rooms and slightly noisier
Cheap, Cheerful and Easy
Stayed here with my son for a trip to an exhibition, so i didnt need anything fancy, hence booking this place. It was great value for what we got and well located. The reception is small but welcoming and they looked after our bags for £5 instead of lugging them around for 5 hours. The room was basic but comfortable, with two single beds, a small tv, and a toilet and shower behind opaque glass, to give some privacy. Despite being on a noisy street, we slept fine and felt we got value for money. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, but apparently some available somewhere. A few hangers for your garments, so dont be expecting to unpack numerous outfits! This is not a luxury or 4 star hotel, and it doesnt pretend to be. It gets 4 stars for cleanliness, doing the basics well, location, friendly staff, and value for money.
Nicely placed
Nice Small Accommodation
Nice standard double room with TV and AC/Fan. Bathroom had all the requirements. Accommodation was clean. Friendly and helpful staffs. Hotel located within walking distance of shopping centre and plenty of restaurants. It would have been nice to have a bigger pillow or 2 small ones. The room could do with a shelf to place bags. Nice for short stays.
Pros and cons
The downside was the lack to soundproof both from me and from others. Impossible to sleep if I didn’t have noice cancelling earplugs. 2 night stay - first night I didn’t and had a terrible sleep, second night - did and had a super sleep. Not worth £60pn but I’d go again if it was less than £50.
Tight little space.
This is a small bare bones room. The staff here makes it 5 stars. Asif was cordial and really helpful from directions to fixing tv volume. All the staff were helpful and I felt very comfortable staying here.
Very close to northern quarter in a great location! You pay for what you get.. can hear everyone's morning phone alarms, people cough and people having ... paper walls. Very very thin walls. Also if you want privacy in the bathroom there's no chance because it's basically touching the bed and the glass doors are 2/3rd's of a door. We couldn't walk past the bottom of the bed without touching the wall even if we shimmered lol. Very comact.
Don’t mind a small room as low price, however very noisy as the rooms are pods within an old building and not sound proofed. Beds hard too
Its the first time my friend and I have stayed there, it was for only one night, could not have managed a few days there. For the money we paid it was ok because we paid half each. If i was to stay by myself i would not pay that money for such a small room with no drawers, only 2 sort of hangers attached to the wall. The beds on the other hand were a perfect size apart from having to waddle at the bottom to get to the other side 😄. The shower room and toilet were spotless and the shower was very good. Other than that for a one or two nights stay with goodnights sleep. I would recommend it to my friends, especially for its location.
Good
Good budget option
Very clean, lovely reception staff, genuinely comfortable bed, good water-pressure in the shower. Also a great location and cheaper than other hotels in the area, (or even further out). I will stay here again if I have 1-night stopover. Things it's useful to know before booking: The room is super-small (i had to walk sideways to get past the bed to the window). There's no kettle. There's no surface to put a kettle on! (i.e.no shelf, no desk etc.) There are 3 hangers affixed to the wall for your clothes, take your own hanger if you want to hang up any clothes beyond a suit jacket. There is a niche on each bedside for you to put your watch or phone or a takeaway coffee cup, and a socket for your charger. Shower cubicle is small, but the water-pressure was good. Handsoap and shower-gel are provided (and smell pretty good too). The TV & remote work fine. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm going to a gig, or just need a stopover. I prob wouldn't stay for a long weekend though TBH. I forgot - I only saw when I was leaving but I think you can get Tea/coffee at the reception desk.
It was difficult to sleep as it’s so noisy with other guests close doors, flush toilet etc Needs soundproofing Thanks
Great basic hotel in a good location.
A cracking small basic hotel in a good central location. Perfect fo a solo traveller wanting a short stay Would come again if staying in Manchester.
A great, budget friendly find
An absolutely lovely stay - perfectly compact rooms and they looked great considering the cheap price
Building doesn’t look too bad and the shower facilities were good but the bed was rock solid with a ridge in the middle, i could hear noise coming from the hallway, streets and the room above me. You have to crawl over the bed to get to the window too. Overall i wish i had spent a little more for a nicer hotel as this one was overpriced.
Good
Always impressed for the price point
Great for a solo traveller in short stay
Pretty nice and decent hotel. My room was in the basement… in general I think they provide a very good service. Some major points are: 1) super good location- close to the Northern Quartier and the Piccadilly train station. 2) really reasonable price 3) Good culinary offer in the surroundings- there is even a nice Café that gives you a discount if you say you come from The Easy Hotel… My room (I don’t know about others) was ideal for a solo traveller in a short stay… in my case I was there only for one night. I think it is a really good option if you are travelling on a budget and with friends or solo… or merely as a transit stop (1 or max 2 nights)… if you want to visit Manchester for a few days, with family or significant other… I would consider other options…
Okay if you just want a bed for the night
Generally fine but room was quite tight for two people, you had to squeeze around the beds to get around them. Windows and doors should be improves to reduce noise levels, you could hear people outside and doors shutting
Could hear everything from 4am which wasn’t good at all, not just people but running water not from our room! Bed was small and so uncomfortable, one small pillow
New mattresses required
Not suitable for a person with mobility issues or of a larger disposition. Bed very close to the wall making it near impossible to walk past. Had to clamber over bed. Matress was terrible, no support at all. We both had a terrible sleep.
Simple and effective. Clean, well kept and excellent reception staff. Highly recommend.
Please stay here!
Amazing staff beautiful "accessibility" room for disabled ♿
Perfect for a short stay
Realistic Hotel Room Review
The room was so small, no cupboard. No space to open suitcase. Shower pipe broken No room service or was told had no replacement towels, shower leaked into corridor. Couldn’t walk around end of bed. Curtains chain broken and unable to close blind. Reported faults twice and nothing was done. Bathroom floor had hair and was dirty. The right wall sockets were not working. The Bed Mattress was like sleeping on a stone. I opened the door and I couldn’t believe how compact the room was . The Room was described for 2 Adults, But was impossible for two of us to inhabit. We stayed for 4 Days. I didn’t sleep properly and the windows were not sound proofed. A Budget Habitation for an expensive Price. I’m sorry but I’m not Impressed.
Great hotel for a one night stopover and convenient for the train stations and concert arenas
Well situated near the AO arena and local bars restaurants. Lots of 24hr parking near
.
Tremendous, gorgeous staff, just book!!!
Outstanding, especially the room for those requiring accessibility.
Horrible service
I made a mistake in my booking and when I tried to contact for help, everyone gosted me like I didn't make a payment
Very central but was quiet. Room was very clean and comfortable. Easy access to great cafes just across the road which served a great choice of excellent breakfasts. Would stay here again Excellent value for money
We payed £160 for a double room for 1 night, what we got was a small double, the bed was a small double with only 1 pillow each. The room was tiny, and the bathroom for some reason had what can only be described as a shower door, it was glass, with gaps at the top and bottom, which gives no privacy at all. Overall very very disappointed with the room, it had no kettle or iron, nowhere to sit (other than the bed), however it was clean
Does what it says in the tin!
Good place to stay for a night - basic, good location and friendly receptionists!
Not good
Good points friendly check in staff and clean On arrival we were allocated which I can only describe as a cupboard no separate bathroom just all in a tiny room with just enough space to walk round the bed and allow one person into the shower/toilet area at a time. Building covered in graffiti with an out look of scaffolding . We decided to just make the most of it and just use it for sleeping. We returned to the room around 11 and got into bed the walls were like paper. A couple in the next room were watching television and talking etc , we heard every word until we think they left around 4 am !!!! We had booked as we were to see a concert on the second night and after our disastrous first night decided to go straight home.
Great location
Friendly staff, great location. The room I’ve stayed in was quite tiny however very clean and comfortable. Good value for money!!
Functional and clean. Fittings too basic - at least a coffee table and chairs would be nice. Ground floor so it was quite noisy at night and in the morning.
Living In a Box
I didn't realise that easyHotel was linked to easyJet. Oh dear! The smallest, worse room I have ever stayed in. No where to move, no fresh air, no space, no cups, no pleasure whatsoever. We even had to evacuate for a (false) firm alarm.
A budget hotel very close to the city centre of Manchester and Piccadilly station. Very convenient for shops, sights and restaurants.
Staff was so helpful with getting around the city. Location was excellent and only walking distance to everything. Overall great value for money. Would highly recommend
The room was tiny, not enough to swing a cat, let alone to put a bag down to unpack it.
EasyHorrorHotel
Probably the worst stay at a hotel ever. I could hear every conversation in every room around me word for word as well as outside. Cleaning staff made no effort to be quiet too. No hot water came out of the tap and had company in spiders crawling on me through the night. Fair to say I got zero sleep. I had to leave a day early… requested a refund as I had to book a hotel room in order to sleep. No response so customer service is just as poor too…
Just what was needed
Tiny efficient space that got the job done for a solo traveler!
Manchester for Bank Holiday
Good location
Walls were paper thin, sound transferred easily through the ceiling, and the pillows were unbearably uncomfortable
They did not let me cancel my booking 2 days ago.My trip with daughter to Manchester was cancelled dto cancellation of Olivia Rodrigo concert at the new coop arena
Review. :)
It was amazing. :)
Loved it!
What it says on the tin.
A very handy location for Manchester's Northern Quarter, where I was attending a concert. Check in was simple and quick. Room was small, so I wouldn't have liked to spend much time there, but the bed was a decent firmness and I didn't hear much from my neighbours. Bathroom was perfectly decent and was supplied with hand wash and shower gel. Overall, a good experience for somewhere to throw an overnight bag down and go for an evening out.
Room very small
Great location. Bad night's sleep as only one pillow, which was flat and hard. More like a hostel than a hotel, which I quite liked as I never need a hotel breakfast, but I felt it was expensive for what it was. No complimentary drinks or hot water either.
Love Manchester
Perfect location, basic but everything you need. It's not a hotel for people who want to spend a lot of time in their room, but close to the centre of a vibrant city like Manchester you should be out enjoying yourself!
Helpful guy at check in
They gave one of our reserved rooms to someone else, so had to share a tiny bed in a tiny room, and they wanted us to have to change rooms on the second night of our stay. They only offered us a late check out to compensate for their error. No coffee cups ever for the hallway station, and thhey acted like it was a big trouble to give us another toilet paper roll, even though there was only a 1/4 roll left when we arrived. Staff was feiendly eniugh, but i definiitwky would not stay here again.
Basic but clean room , worth the money for a city centre location
Great value, quite noisy
Staff were great, central location and good price. Street and internal noise a bit too much for me.
Excellent for what we needed at short notice. Staff friendly and helpful. Would use again for short stay. Good value.
Ok for one night
We only stayed one night, room was tiny, on avival looked like we was staying in storage units! The room was clean but not much room to move about.
this is my go to Hotel, for ease, cost and position. Staff always exceptional.
So central!
Staff friendly and so helpful room brilliant just needed facility to make a hot drink when you wake up and needed cups or glasses to use for your own drnks location fantastic
compact, clean, comfortable
Great location. Very compact but perfect if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel room, just want a good location to dump your bags, explore the city, then get your head down at night.
Right next to noisy road, cramped room and poorly soundproofed, could hear everything around me.
Overall good but in the middle of Northern Quarter so definiately not super quiet and could maybe feel unsafe in the dark if you don't know the area well. Overall a good stay and ideal place to stay for a quick work trip
Value for money, quality stay
Great location for us in Manchester's Northern Quarter. For our stay it was just what we wanted, priced very reasonably, a clean room with good shower & a decent bed. Room little on the small side but it certainly wouldn't stop us using easy hotels again. Great service, definitely recommend by me.
