Great location , very modern, excellent people at the reception
The location is close to metro, and to train station. Staff speak several languages. Some bars and restaurants near. Property starting to show it's age. I would go again.
One of the best hotels ever!!
Wonderful clean , modern property with central location close to Atocha. The staff was fantastic helping me with lost luggage and other matters. Thank u.
I like the location since its close to the bus station. The staff were very friendly and help me figure out home to get around and where to go.
Overall, my girlfriend and I had a great stay. The room was clean and livable for four nights. The hotel is located 3 minutes walking distance to the metro, which was extremely convenient. Our room was cleaned each day while we were out, and we received new towels every day but one. Vending machines on the first floor were very a great addition that we frequented as well for water and other late-night snacks. My only complaints would be that the room had some damages in need of repair (seal for shower was worn, meaning water spilled onto the floor with each shower; mirror was cracked and repaired with some sort of foam tape?; other minor aesthetic damages) and we were only provided two (very cheap) pillows.
No restaurants in side de hotel
It's a two star hotel, can't expect much, place is clean clean clean, I gave it a 4 star because the HVAC control panel was very confusing and they get a bit stingy when I was asking for an extra banquet.
Nice place to stay in recommend
The room I booked was very small with minimal furnishings; just a bed and some hooks for clothes and a very small desk. For our purposes it was okay. Very quiet and friendly staff.
Overnight stay
Overnight stay for going to the airport very close to bus terminal and at Ochoa train station for access to get to the airport. 2nd time we have used this hotel.
Hotel / cost pretty good
Very simple, convenient stay in a property booked for easy access to Atocha train station. 15 minute walk up one road to the station - couldn't be more direct. Very little interaction with staff but what I did have was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Only gripe would be a complete lack of anywhere to put anything on...no desk, no chest of drawers. Not a big thing and I know it's 'no-frills' so not a huge issue.
Fine for a short stay
First time sleeping in an easy hotel. Pillows was a little light - too thin but was able to get additional in the reception. Unfortunately, found long black hairs in the bathroom and blood stain under the bedsheet.
Little far from the city but is a good location with easy access to transportation
It was an ok hotel. The only positive- cleanliness. Room was ok. No phone in the room to call front desk. Needed to borrow a hairdryer as there was none in the bathroom. Shower door doubled as bathroom door- weird. No hand towels provided. No cups in the room/ bathroom. Had to ask for them. They only give you paper cups - not environmentally friendly at all. Weirdly designed room. I wouldn’t stay there again. Not good value for the money I spent for the room.
poor sound proofing between rooms
Excelente el hotel y sus alrededores
It's clean ,but it's more than hostal than a hotel. Very uncomfortable room. The basic of a hotel don't finder here. And the more moronic bathroom design i ever see on any place.
No air conditionning Dor of the shower no closing right
The room doesn't have a service phone. Hair dryer and air conditioner stated that is available for the booking room. However the hair dryer need to rent from reception only for 2 hours, and no air conditioner due to the central system is been changed to heat mode while the guests can feel air conditioner in the lobby and lift.
It was a nice experience, the only thing that i dont like it its about no fans on the room or A.C. but the weather was confortable so it was not necessary, also the door of the bathroom its not good, but I will put 5 starts, very good hotel with an affordable place. Muchas gracias a las recepcionistas =D See you next time
Three Days in Madrid
Staff changed rooms for us at short notice, and also gave hair dryer. Room small ditto shower/toilet. Near to metro and bus. Good range of restaurants: particularly mention Chinese down the street and for breakfast just across the road.
I enjoyed the cleanliness and simplicity of our stay there
We asked for AC since the room got kinda hot during the day and they said the hotel programed the AC for heating only, we had to open the window during the night to feel comfy and finally get to sleep.
Good choice!
A good choice for a budget stay. Easy to reach the city center via Metro.
Very helpful front desk people! Easy metro access. Roof-top terrace was nice.
Clean and safe area. A block away from metro
Lovely light room - well maintained and compact.
Good stay
For a 1-star hotel I was very impressed with this place. I stayed for one night but it was very clean, and appears to be relatively new. When you first get to your floor it kind of seems like a dorm layout but once you enter the room I found it very clean and perfect for my stay. The area is new so there’s not much food around or anything to do but it’s very close to bus stops and the Atocha train station.
It's like a Travelodge/premier Inn room. Functional basic. Our second stay in a week here. The blinds on the windows are crap people have broken them over a period of time. Staff aware! The bed was comfy but too close the wall to walk around. Pillows are too thin, like sleeping on a pitta bread. WiFi but it isn't easily seen, a tiny plastic notice on the check in desk. Wasn't given my room number. They don't tell you, you have to ask. Generally ok.
The place really clean but the shower door, the curtains and the toilet paper holder were on the verge of being broken or already broken. And if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because you can hear the other guests moving around their rooms.
Overall this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was somewhat spartan but clean, looked recently renovated and the AC worked. Strangely the latter is an issue I frequently come across. The only downside is the 30 minute walk to the art museums. There are buses the next street over but we walked. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance of 10-15 minutes. The bus station is a 10 minute walk. Atocha Station is 25 minutes away.
Good
Located 10 minutes away from the nearest Metro station Méndez Alvaro and 15 minutes walk to a nearby supermarket. Hotel is easy to locate due to its gigantic sign on the building from afar. Please be informed that hotel has no B&F service. Only cater to venting machines for guests. Of course, they do have two microwave ovens and an oven for guests to warm up their food bought from outside.
Bed hard as rock
Room basic. Out look terrible. Reception busy. Bed awful hard as rock and only one flat pillow each. No where to sit other than on bed. Stayed in seven different hotels on our holiday road trip. This was by far the worse so far.
No breakfast but multiple machines for food and snacks and drinks which take UK bank debit chip and pin. Convenient. Just one lond straight road from the railway station about 30 mins walk.
Ok
The staff was very pleasant the rooms stripped down. No glasses in the bathroom no air conditioning, but the beds were clean and the price reflected the lack of amenities.
The staff was great. The area is safe and has a couple of restaurants for breakfast. It’s easy to get taxis and buses. They also have a breakfast option with sandwiches, juice, and coffee for €5.99. The facility is clean and modern. No complaints
Staff is helpful and friendly. The Hotel is near to Metro, train and bus stations.
Nice breakfast
Cool and quiet
The hotel was quiet, air conditioning was amazing such a comfortable sleep, only thing I would like would be an extra cushion on the bed.
Convenient and reasonably priced hotel. Would recommend
Clean , comfortable, helpful staff
Friendly staff, room are comfortable and good location
Very basic. But ok for couple of nights, our shower leaked all over bathroom floor because the door didn't fit properly. Tv poor. Internet ok. Bed ok limited space for bags
Nunca olvidaré este hotel. Ya quiero regresar !!
La pasamos muy bien, mi novia y yo. Muchas gracias.
There was a self laundry nearby we use , very convenient. We walk to the Atocha station and used the free city bus 001 to get to the center.
Very plain room excepted more
.
An okay stay overall, very minimalistic. Must pay for luggage storage, no kettle or anything of that sort. Bedsheets were a bit dirty.
Never again
Evidently this is a hotel brand aimed at first-time travelers with zero expectations: 2 of 3 elevators were not operational (in an 8-story building), no bathroom door between the bathroom and bedroom (you better know your partner well), noisy hallways due to thin walls; you get the picture...
Hotel was handy for metro links and there were places to eat nearby.
This is a small and very basic room with almost nothing aside from bed and private bathroom. The location is convenient to get to Atocha station. Since Madrid is expensive, this is a good economic choice for the area.
Very good value for money
Great location and friendly staffs
Overall it was a great stay! Staffs are friendly and kind, facility is very clean and located in very convenient area. Only one thing to point out is that the bed was not super comfy, but that is only one thing. Thank you very much!
Great stay
Great stay, very clean, easy to find and helpful staff. Only downside was only having one pillow and a broken shower gel holder.
Muy cómodo para viajes como el nuestro, que fueron prácticamente escalas. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y podrían resultar incómodas para estadías más prolongadas.
City break
Staff really helpful. Good location by metro and local cafes and supermarkets. Cleanliness very good
clise to train/metro
Worst experience
Simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed. So small, no closet, no glasses for water, uncomfortable beds. Ants on the floor, rough towels, no hair dryer, no fridge or safe, nothing worse than this hotel!
It was convenient for Atocha station, comfortable and clean.
Everything bout this place was phenomenal
Ripped off - Hostal 1 Star.
Tiny room. Not even a college dorm 140 sqft tops. Just a bed. No other furniture. There were couple hooks on the wall w couple hangers. No night tables. To go one side of the bed to the other you had to squeeze yourself against the wall stepping on your luggage. Was clean though.
increíble experiencia super recomendado
Simply all you need!
This was a cute hotel. I arrived early as I thought they would be able to hold my luggage until check in. They only have paid lockers for you to store your luggage. One of the employees told me to come back at 1pm and my room might be ready then. I did and was required to pay 10€ for early check in. I paid it, I was so tired. They have vending machines in the lobby but nothing really substantial. There is a restaurant across the street but I am not sure what type of fod they have. You need to walk a bit to find any semblance of food that is open. The room itself was perfect. The bed was nice and firm-may have been memory foam but was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but had a nice shower and toilet. Everything you really need especially if you plan on going out and exploring the city. Buy a tourist travel pas so you can get on city transit as much as you would like or get a map and walk to where you need to go! I would definitely stay here again. I might even arrive early and pay the fee again so that I have somewhwre to store my luggage. Lastly make sure you pull the door firmly to lock it. A soft close does not do it. Slam it if you must.
The facility is not good.
There is many restaurants around the corner, metro, train and bus stations in two blocks away.
Staff was pleasant & very helpful. Property was safe, clean & within a 10-15 min uber from most places we wanted to go to. We had a twin room & it worked for us for a long weekend in Madrid. The rooms do not come with a blow dryer but you can get one from the front desk to use for 2 hrs. The only two things that would've been helpful was a couple extra hangars & a couple of face towels for the shower. Beyond that, all good!
Great stay!
Place was clean and in a quiet area.
Good hotel, some irritants
Brand new hotel. Rooms are spartan. It would be nice to at least have a chair or two. Very clean. Staff helpful. Shower door drips water out to the floor when opened.
Its a clean organized hotel, perfect for short stays between traveling. Not much in terms of amenities but located close enough to a few dining options
Conveniently located, close to Metro and South Autobus station.
Good
The neighbourhood is very quiet and nice. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Easy access to Méndez Alvaro metro station.
Clean, minimalistic. Not in Atocha, but near metro
Despite its name, the hotel is not in Atocha but Méndez Álvaro Coach Station, so handy for those travelling to Madrid by coach from other Spanish cities or from the airport. The hotel is basic, but the rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you need, including a tiny desk and seat, TV, hangers and a nice bathroom. Very light, modern and minimalistic. It is also very close to the Metro station and you can get to central Madrid by metro within 10-15 mins. I recommend it.
Buenas amenidades, limpieza y ubicación
The room is uncomfortable there was even a chair to seat, the bathroom is to small and all the water when you take a shower run for all the floor. For the price they charge I think I can get a better room
I chose this hotel for being close to the main bus station. The room was clean and spacious enough but very basic. It had no desk, a chair, or a luggage rack.
A five minute taxi ride from Atocha railway station The room was small but clean. Good use of space for the shower Metro only a couple of minutes away The surrounding area of the hotel seems set for businesses If you are looking for a quick stay , it covers everything
Convinient location, front desk staff very kind. The only problem is that after taking a shower the bathroom gets all wet. Shower door seal not working.
A pleasant surprise
We booked this hotel as a relatively cheap place to stay before catching our early morning train to Pamplona. As well as being close to the train station it was surprisingly in a lovely modern part of the city with lovely cafes and restaurants.
Thank to helpful staffs that allow me to keep my large backpack at their storage without need to spend money for locker. However the room without personal care (sad).
The Hotel is very good accessible with public Transportation. Close by are Metro-Station and a Suburb-Train Stop. Furthermore there are restaurants and supermarkets in few hundred meters away.
Pretty mediocre stay, the AC didn't work very well so it got quite stuffy at night. The washroom was basic but clean. For a budget stay it wasn't the best, wasn't the worst.
Room fit for 1 person only, bathroom not private. No lock, no fan, no fitting door to keep smells out of the bedroom.
Súper cerca de todo
Great
Staff is very good and helped is with early check in as we arrived early from Lisboa
El hotel está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila y cerca de una estación de metro, es un edificio moderno y muy limpio, pero la habitación es muy pequeña, sin siquiera una mesa donde poner objetos y la cama muy pequeña también.
Centric and very clean
Nice
Easy Hotel was affordable for my time in Madrid! It was perfect!
Staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Hotel is way too expensive for what it offers. Shower water went from scalping hot to cold which made me hit the wall with my foot and caused a cut on my toe. Area is ok and about a 20 min walk to the Atocha train station. Irene and Reynaldo at the front desk were great.
Convenient location to metro station. Clean and comfortable
Hotel was clean and close to train station
