A gem in Brickell

First class service, as always. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. A mainstay for me whenever I’m in Brickell. Close to great amenities and all the action.

I’m staying at EAST Miami for one night, and it’s been amazing so far! The staff is welcoming, the room is clean and comfortable with great views, and the location is perfect in Brickell. Sugar rooftop bar is a must-visit. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay

Poor service

Phoned to tell them my flight was delayed and missed connecting flight and that i would arrive the following day. They said no problem. Arrived, room canceled and they took a one day penalty. Then told them never canceled the room and to rebook, they were willing to do so but at more expensive rates then original. Even after agreeing to this as i was exhausted, it is was 1pm and then they told me room available at 3pm and could be earlier but for extra $100 charge. This is totally unprofessional, i paid for 4 nights, never canceled, called in advance to notify but they still did not honor anything. Changed hotel and went across the street, SLS Lux, service was amazing and check in was immediate.

We loved the location, friendly staff, and the hotel amenities. It would have been convenient if we could keep our personal stuff in the mini fridge without being charged for it.

Water smell in shower was really bad in all the rooms. Front desk said this is normal and they can’t do anything about. Room service was poor as they didn’t change the sheets only made the bed

I recently stayed at East Miami, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived, and the sleek, modern design of the hotel really stood out. My room was spacious, spotless, and had amazing views of the city. The pool area was one of my favorite spots—it’s beautifully designed and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. The gym was well-equipped and spacious, making it easy to keep up with workouts. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of fresh options, though a bit pricey. I also loved the free bike rentals—they were such a fun and convenient way to explore the area. The only downside was the bed—it was softer than I expected from a five-star hotel, which wasn’t quite as comfortable as I’d hoped. That said, the other amenities and the unbeatable location in the heart of Brickell more than made up for it. Overall, East Miami made my trip truly memorable, and I’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Miami!

Housekeeping could have been better.

wasn't a very VIP experience checking in, the hotel only had one person at front desk, I had to wait 20 minutes in line to check into my prepaid room.

The room was great. The view even better. Great service and the bar was amazing. The only thing I would change are the pillows. Too soft

Stayed here before and it was amazing then and just as amazing now. The roof top, Sugar was great, gets packed but it’s understandable as it’s one of the places to be, but as a guest you get to go straight up without waiting on any line.

Beautiful property and eco friendly. The amenities are amazing and the staff is very attentive. Perfect location and easily accessible to ride share services/public transportation.

Service was immaculate, as was my corner room. Large, spacious, and clean. Perfect location on Brickell, with a shopping mall attached. Dining options are plentiful. Perfect for my girls trip. Ellie at Front desk was so sweet and helpful.

Great location. Great amenities - loved the modern decor. Great view (30th floor). Decent gym. Multiple amazing food options from Quinto to Casa de Tua, and all very close by.

The worst service

A great place to stay. Friendly staff and accommodating. Water pressure could have been better and for some reason most of the electrical sockets didn’t hold plugs. Everything we had sort of fell out?

Usually I always stay at the East when traveling to Miami and staying at Brickell area. Definitely the best place to stay. Always very welcoming and rooms and comfortable. Gym is amazing. Thanks!

Good and beautiful hotel , rooms are a bit small and a little overpriced for what you get , but it’s very convenient location and staff is amazing

Rooms are dated. Yes, they look cool, but quality is low. Leaking facets, scratches on walls, etc. For $500 per night they could keep it in a better shape They say rooms can accommodate 3 people but they don't have sofa beds or anything. You have to pay extra for rollaway beds. Finally the service is at the level of cheap motel. They don't want to help you at all.

I loved the fact that the mall is within the hotel property. I also loved that many restaurants are in walking distance from the hotel and that the area is safe.

Great views and area

Such a cool hotel but the service and attentiveness of the staff was lacking. First rate property but hostesses, operators seemed like they were focused on other things or people. Too bad as it was a big trip and expenditure for us.

Good mall access, and for nightlife

In general ok. but seems a a hotel for a short term stay for local nightlife. People value much probably because of the bar(windy) at the top, that make it look busy and fancy. Probably may make some Staff feel important/indifferent (get confused who is the customer), with few with good intention; my observations; 1/room was good, clean and techie, need an easier toilet specific night light(not all open bath area light), and missed bath robe and basic slipper that is standard today in this level if hotel 2/We had our door lock dead that needed to change the batteries two times in four nights, and made us get late some scheduled activities, 3/ the grease smoke smell in the entrance of the hotel because of the neighbor restaurant is not very nice 24hs a day. 4/the Valet as any busy area/street due mix with the visitors, mainly at night may take time, need to plan in advance for that, probably would be better self park in the mall (or somehow prioritize hotel guests like the elevators). I do come a lot to Miami and have been in several good different hotels, including nightlife active ones that have similar challenges, but I like the mall that btw had good access, so wanted to try hotel. As I was on holiday, was excited to stay and was relaxed, but do not see as a business stay hotel. Thank you for the services

Birthday/Shopping Trip

This was a birthday getaway mixed with some shopping. I initially booked another hotel in the Brickell area but after seeing reviews and the fact that Hotel East is literally attached to a mall I made the change. I booked a high floor Corner king room and received exactly what I booked. This was also my first booking after becoming an Expedia VIP member and the hotel honored everything that expedia said I would receive without the need to feel like I was begging, this was a big plus for me. There are a lot of things to do within walking distance such as dinner at Sexy Fish but the hotel has excellent offerings as well even just drinks at the rooftop bar Sugar is a great time. The late checkout is also very convenient giving you the ability to leave as late as 3PM I will definitely be back again.

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. I have stayed in a couple MIAMI hotels and this is my least liked. The amenities are old even if it looks like modern it is not. The TV does not work properly, even the internet, or to connect my phone to my device it wouldn’t connect which is horrible. We were a big group and we were in different rooms. You do not have access to go to different floors because everything is controlled by your room key which was not conveniente either. The valet was decent, sometimes they took more than 30 minutes to bring out the car. Overall experience is 2/5. I would not stay again at this hotel.

Great location - Clean - Super Safe.. The hotel staff Is so accommodating, friendly and sweet always - and ALL of them! I would stay here again- just know you're in the center of the city- and you can hear the action in your room-- I was on the 36th floor and heard the car traffic and the boom boom :)

My stay was AMAZING! I will definitely be going back for a longer stay, the staff was very nice and made sure I knew the hours of the restaurants, what levels they are, all the information!
