Booked 2 rooms and one was clean and nice, the other had blood stains on the bedsheets and was not clean, dust on the fridge, and around the apartment. It was loud outside because of the local bar down the street making it hard to get a good sleep. The AC remote did not work, and even with the heaters being off, the heaters were still running. It was uncomfortable.

1st room we were in was disappointing. Air Conditioner was not working. Also found a creature crawling around so was moved.

Easy, convenient and comfortable!

I liked the fact it had mire of a home feel than just your regular hotel. Even came with pots and pans and dishes. Not as elegant as your usual hotel but I find that helped get rid of the repetitive hotel feel.

Great option for a reasonable priced accommodation while visiting Gatineau and Ottawa. Great location. Comfortable beds. There was an issue with a strong smell in one of our rooms and lack of air conditioning.

I enjoyed my stay.

It was easy to walk to the bars area and also to the Ottawa side, the bridge is a couple blocks away, clean room.

You have to pick up the keys from a different location. The AC was not on and the property was hot and humid. It took so much time for the AC to make the room a little bit cool so we were able to sleep after a bit.

The property is clean, has great parking. Walkable distance to restaurants and pubs.

Very clean

Clean & comfortable. Not too old. The place is an apartment building. You check in at another place (motel) 2mins away (the gentleman that evening was clearly not having a good day, his sarcasm was rude rather than funny). Parking is limited during the day when the area offices also park in that lot. Stove is a slow burner but kitchen is decently stocked. Had only 1 glass, maid said it was being ordered. Has a street with bars/restaurants close by but not many were open since it was rainy. Good overall, could've cost less though.

I recommend

There's no one on site to check you in or go to if you have any problems. The main hotel for this, Les Suites Victoria is just a block away. A small inconvenience, but for the low rate I paid for the room, that was OK. The kitchenette was equipped with everything, but they didnt have any spoons. The TV channels were accessibile for about 2 hours, but then stopped working. Had to call a number to fix that, but I decided to sleep instead.

No air conditioning in bedroom so had to put mattress in living room and sleep on the floor as there is only air conditioning in the living room.

The inside of the unit was clean and fine however, the hallways and the stairwells and no by the way, no elevator for a second floor were dirty carpets were dirty. It didn’t feel good. Then when you did get into your unit, which was clean and lovely unit had a mini split that did not work so it was a boiling hot in there so that was a problem. The next thing was there is, a bar outside so Friday night and Saturday night the two nights we stayed were very, very noisy and he didn’t really wanna open the window because that increase the noise so there was that so overall the inside of the unit was all right, but there is no there is no air conditioning there hall were dirty. The stairwells were dirty. There’s no elevator so really overall not a great choice.

Such an amazing place , the entire apartment with a king size bed was mine . The people were so helpful . My car didn’t start at their parking spot and they helped me sort out the issue . Would rate 7 star for them

Dirty

Property fairly clean. Good for short stay and price was doable. Downside was no reception (felt abandoned)and check in a block away. Overall not too bad for short getaway.

Pas en été

Le lit était propre et confortable, c'est le principal. Le tapis du couloir qui mène au studio sent vraiment mauvais. Les chaises et le divan sont usés et tachés. Le salon est très sombre, on y trouve qu'une seulement une lampe sur deux qui a une ampoule. Le wifi est faible. Le bar La P'tite grenouille joue de la.musique tellement forte qu'on l'entend, fenêtres fermées, jusqu'à 3h du matin, sans compter les clients qui s'attroupent dehors, parlent très fort. La nuit dernière, les policiers ont même dû disperser un groupe qui commençait à employer un ton plutôt agressif. Bien situé au centre-ville de Hull. Je n'y retournerais pas en été àcause du bruit.

La réception se trouve loin des chambres. Il faut trouver l’endroit via Google maps. C’est pas le même bâtiment. Quand je suis arrivée dans la chambre, l’air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas. (Il faisait 33 dehors et très chaud en dedans). La seule chose que l’on m’a proposé était une grosse fan qui faisait un bruit intense. La personne qui me l’a apporté m’a mentionné que plusieurs air climatisés étaient défectueux. J’aurai aimé le savoir sachant que j’avais beaucoup de travail à faire depuis ma chambre et que j’ai passé une nuit horrible avec la chaleur.

Air conditioning wasn’t working very good…everything thing else was just as expected…very clean and close to the attraction…

Room was good, clean and nice, as was hotel. Breakfast a bit meagre. Reception was severely understaffed, lots of waiting. Our door stopped working, it took 3/4 of an hour to get the only staff-person up to open it for us with a key.

Room darkening and noise dampening

The accommodation itself was excellent, very spacious and of good value. But it was impossible to sleep at all as there was noise all through the night coming from the nightclub just behind the building. When it was finally possible to sleep after the club had closed, the absence of proper curtains let in a lot of light which then made it impossible to sleep. Proper room darkening and noise dampening curtains would really improve the quality of stay here.

The service was good and clean

The photos on the reservation site differs from the reality, first day I dealt with some spiders and cockroach. Kitchen pans are old and scratched

The isolation between the rooms are terrible. I couldn't sleep for consecutive two days until my the other tenant turned the tv off after 3 am. The doors between the suites should not be there, or they should be sounds proofing.

Bad scent as soon as you enter the room. The furniture is so old. Needs a major Reno. The door is hard to lock with a traditional key. Overall icky feeling. It’s a dump.

Terrible experience,avoid at all cost

The room was fine. Furniture was a little dated though I don’t mind that. Room was clean and complimentary toiletries were nice. The building left a lot more to be desired. The floors were not labelled well and in searching for our room the floor below ours stank of cigarettes and the carpets in that hall were very ugly and appeared very dirty or were stained. The same carpet was on our floor but looked cleaner. Door was labelled clearly and lock was secure. Kitchenette had more than we needed so we didn’t use everything; it seemed well-equipped. Bathroom was clean and shower worked well. Front desk staff (at the partner hotel) was very pleasant and patient with me having trouble understanding his accent. Gave a map and directions to the other hotel and the parking situation. I still had a bit of trouble finding it but once I was there I knew I was in the right place. The building didn’t seem to have any elevator and so we dragged our suitcases up 3 floors. Thank goodness my daughter is strong and I’m able bodied because it was a bit of a workout. You also can’t go from the parking lot straight into the building (have to walk around to the front door).

Close to venue

The rooms are huge, quite well appointed. The thai restaurant round the corner was outstanding.

The nearby Bar was very loud at night. One night until 3:00am

There’s no hot water in the shower ! The reception is rube and refuses to communicate!

I was able to cook for myself, however I wish there was a stove instead of just 2burners. Overall, I was comfortable.

The location is in Gatineau, a 30-minute walk from downtown Ottawa. There is no front desk at the property and the check-in and check-out are done at another hotel located nearby. The free WiFi connection is very good. The room is spacious and has street view. The bed is large and comfortable. The heating system in the room works very well.

For the price it was ok. The bathroom was not super clean as well the room. The bed was too soft but the major problem is that the hotel is beside a bar/club. There was a lot of music until late in the night.

Very good studio suits ,all inclusive with kitchen appliances. Unfortunately the mattress was too soft,not convenient for the body. They need to change the pillows and mattress in the hotel.

they don't have 24/7 reception as is mentioned in the ad. The reception is located in another place (it's not fun when is cold and tired, that you need to go somewhere), and there are no instructions. I found that out when I arrived. Rather than that the place is comfy and clean.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. A few issues: the blinds in our room didn’t fully close and so all the morning light would come in, wifi is very slow, no smart tv and the whole check in reception situation is not convenient. There is no reception at this location, you need to go to another hotel down the street to collect your key and return it there after the stay. But overall a decent place

Decent room, poor hospitality.

The room was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. The back door from the parking was difficult to open using the key so we went to ask about it and he rudely said that no other guests had problems getting in and that we should keep trying. We ended up using the main door instead.

We had a problem with the doorman from where we had to pick up the key, he was very rude I reserved the room for my employees but put it under my name because I did it trough hotel .com I called him to tell him to let the girls in he was very rude to me and them! Not the first time!

Confusing location and poor communication

The staff wasn’t friendly at all…the lights weren’t working…ac wasn’t working… the communication wasn’t good at all.

There’s no check in the property and I never received any warning about this. The check-in desk is one block away, in another hotel called Victoria. No idea how to get there, no map was provided. My phone helped somehow. It was a rainy day and didn’t have a car. Had to walk with all my luggage to the other hotel. Upon my arrival to the check-in desk I was informed that Expedia should’ve sent this warning upon my reservation. I never received such warning. This sort of miscommunication can affect Expedia credibility. Watch out! Once I enter the hotel, couldn’t believe how dirty the hallways were, stinky carpet all over the hallway with stains everywhere. Do not recommend this place.

Had to go to different location to check in without notice (as far as I know) except when you get to the place on the main entrance door. Hallway is rough. Suite is ok, dated but cleanish. There were a bag of about 8 small rotting red onions left in the kitchenette drawer which was weird and smelly. I mean you get what you pay for I suppose haha
