TravellerGood stay but a few things to iron out
Pretty good stay overall however unit 2 which we stayed in has an aircon controller that only allows you to turn it on/off. No control over temperature, fan speed etc. The pillows were quite thin as well. Apart from this, the room was great. Very clean and had a good kitchen to make simple meals.

The room and motel location were fine, but the service was not good. We never saw a person in the office and as far as we know, our room was looked at just once in our three-night visit. We had a leaky shower head that sprayed all over when turned on and reported it the first day, but it was never fixed. We also were given just tiny packets of shampoo that didn't last long and the garbage wasn't emptied.

TravellerWe enjoyed our stay, but there were a couple of negatives, one being the lack of space in the bedrooms for bags and the other is the lack of comfort with the double bed, it's well past it's life. On a positive note, everything was very clean, the aircon was wonderful and great packing for unit 1.

Clean, great bed, warm and cosy with everything we needed. We were so close to town and enjoyed the walk there. Would definitely stay again when visiting Taupo.

Far better than I expected. It was cute, clean and just the perfect size and location. Slept well. Super easy check in and check out. I walked to dinner and back at night.
