After 4 days staying we get just for 4 people 4 capsules of cafe 🙈 5 stars hotel And they charge us for the soap which the bottle was broken and we put to garbage and we had to pay 35€. I am traveling a lot but this happened first time on my life. And they charge my credit card after 8 hours when i check out

We stay in the big apartmant with 4 people and we stay 3 days and we get just 4 coffee caps they never bring on the next day and they told me in the reception it was just for all one week 🙈 And they charged me 35€ for a soup which was broken and i put to the garbage. Hotel was very expensive but i will never come back there.

Room was fantastic but poolside was boring , badly laid out and depressing . Reception not very welcoming , hotel grounds bare and needing a lot more green .. gross dead which looks awful

We had an amazing stay at Dunas Douradas. The property is beautiful and clean with easy access to the beach and a wonderful pool area. The accommodations were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We are actively trying to determine when we can visit again!

High quality property and resort.

The staff were very friendly, and all "customer-facing" staff spoke excellent English. They were engaging with us as we asked dumb questions about the country and local area, and tried to learn a little low-level Portuguese. The pools areas were very good.

Great place to stay for the value. Definitely has the 5 star amenities. The restaurant was really good and the pools were really nice. The rooms were very well kept and the views from the top of the apartment were gorgeous. Also a short walk to a very nice beach. Was a great place to spend our final days of vacation in the Algarvae!

This place was so awesome! I would definitely stay there again. The rooms, the pool, the food and the beach were all terrific.

The grounds and setting are spectacular, and the individual units are well maintained and supplied.

Very well equipped property with great views. The restaurant is top quality and staff are very accommodation. Recommend for both families or groups of friends. The access to the private beach surpassed expectations - beautiful beach.

Holiday Bliss.

Dunus Dourados is a lovely place to stay.Perfect for families and Couples alike.School holiday time is busy but that is because it’s prefect for children.The staff are very friendly and helpful if sometimes over stretched.We have stayed many time and will continue to do so.It has a small shop so if you are going to self cater you will need to shop at the supermarket.

Had a great time at DDBC. Lovely very clean 2 bed suite with hot tub. Setting and pool were lovely. 1 minute walk from beach and Maria’s restaurant 👍

Fabulous

We came from another 5 star hotel in Albufeira and we immediately loved this one, it is all the other one wasn’t. It is classy, quiet, the apartments are very large and comfy, the kitchen has every single detail and the bathrooms are clean and modern. The toiletries are from Rituals! The garden is very big, has a large barbacue area and a jacuzzi. The hotel is on the beach and has 3 pools (1 indoors) and a nice restaurant. The restaurant is a little expensive but the staff and food are great. We loved it so much we booked another 9 nights immediately.

Fantastic resort!

We had a fantastic stay 3 night stay at Dunas Douradas. We had a family wedding to attend at the venue, which the resort did a fantastic job of, and the staff were so attentive the entire trip, as well as making every effort to help the wedding run as smoothly as possible. The villa was superb- spacious, comfortable, stylish and clean, and was very well equipped. We only wish we had longer at the resort to enjoy the lovely pool area, the villa, and the restaurant! We had an excellent stay at Dunas Douradas!

Super stay

A super stay. We felt very comfortable with the social distancing measures and cleanliness. Great pool service and lovely food at breakfast and dinner. Wish we had been there longer to make full use of the aparment’s roof terrace!

Excellent. Proper 5 star resort

Absolutely pristine. Apartment was more like a villa and had everything you need. Saudade restaurant was excellent and the close access to other great restaurants like Maria’s and Julia’s was a bonus.

Great stay, albeit too short. First time here but will be back. Lovely quality contemporary apartment with excellent kitchen, bathrooms and decor. Sky / BT on TV. Verandah with great view and sun beds, dining table and gas BBQ. Wonderful pools and well organised sun beds. Location also excellent, just next to Maria's at the stunning beach. Would have booked to go back next June but price seemed massively high for 2 per night unfortunately.

Really great 4 night stay. Place is in great condition. Only down side was too many kids in pool area - adult pool or area would be a great addition. Beach in-front and sunbeds were used daily (although have to pay for sunbeds). Supermarket is 10mins away. Shop in hotel is very limited.

Beautiful location, property. Easy to check in and out. Apartment very comfortable with everything that you would need. Next time we’ll stay a bit longer.

The apartment is immaculate and so much better than the photos show. The finish and comfort levels are very high. Great location for the beach pools abd kids club. The kids club is excellent and very well run. The one restaurant Saudade on site is ok but its well worth exploring the many places to eat in the area.

Great resort for the family

Very nice resort on the Algarve; great complex and nearby beach. Very helpful staff. A great place for a family vacation. The only negative is that the Food on their onsite restaurant could be better to match the 5 star rating.

Great luxury apartment with everything you need

We’ve just come back from a week’s holiday here. The location is great with the beach on the doorstep and lots of good restaurants nearby. We had a 3 bed apartment which was huge and had everything we needed for a great relaxing holiday including a large balcony with sea views and a BBQ.

Nice family hotel

The apartment was very well appointed with everything a family needs including a washing machine, dryer, great kitchen and plenty of seating areas inside and outside. We stayed in a first floor apartment which had a fantastic roof terrace and BBQ. We had a great holiday, the children made lots of friends. The pool area works well having an indoor pool, children's pool and two standard pools in the same area means it works for everyone. The only things that could be improved are the restaurant service/menus - there didn't appear to be enough staff although when the food arrived it was great and the food choices were limited so getting out and about or having your own bbq is definitely a good idea. The other thing that could be improved is the children's entertainment and club - the staff were friendly but there was not enough going on so most of the kids stayed with their parents by the pool.

Expensive U.K. Enclave on the Algarve

The Beach Club is a collection of private condos in a gated community on the Algarve... nice grounds, great beach access, multiple central pools, efficient staff ... but very limited amenities on site. Less of an authentic Portugal experience and more of an enclave of U.K. couples and families away on vacation. A car is a must - if only to go and get groceries. Ask for a condo that has upper level hot tub for better sea views. (Not all condos have sea views as advertised.) Furniture in our condo was very tired ... especially given the premium rates charged. Good place to get away from everything. Maria's is the go to restaurant on the nearby beach. Expensive but the views cannot be beat.

Amazing large 1 bedroom apartment fully equipped with everything you would possibly need. Lovely pool area and a short walk to the beach.

The Beach Club Apartment were excellent and we have booked to return in October. Everything was spotless and so handy for the beach. Weather excellent as well and can't fault the resort, apartment and the whole experience.

All the staff who we encountered were exceptional. Our room was excellent and the complex was of a very high standard.

This was a last minute break which exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, beautiful apartment with sea view. Ideal for a relaxing week to recharge your batteries.

Excellent location

We holidayed with family including twin granddaughters(almost 5 years old). It was a perfect location, only 2/3 minute walk to the beach. For a mid-February holiday the weather was excellent.

Exceptional place for a family holiday. On the beach, great pools, superior accommodation. One opportunity- the service in the main restaurant is appauling- something that will no doubt be improved by future visits.

A lovely place to stay

We had a one bedroom spacious apartment which was very well appointed, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The thing that made our experience so pleasurable was the staff who could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We will certainly be returning and friends are already looking at this option for golfing holidays in the future. The food in the restaurant is very good and the patio overlooks some inland water which has the most magical array of birds and it looked like work was being done to ensure everyone can enjoy this extra bonus in the future. Of course, it is only a two minute walk to the beach and ten minutes drive to the golf courses so everything that you could want is on hand. The cocktails are not bad too!!
