Great view! Heart of Tofino. Walking distance to many local stores.

The property has a beautiful view from the rooms and is super convenient to walk into town for dinner or local shops. The only thing to be improved would be to add more parking as the parking lot was often full just after dinner and difficult to find a spot. We had a lovely stay!

Our specific top floor unit had an incredible view. Everything in town is easily walkable in a couple of minutes. Staff was wonderful and accommodating.

Walkable to many restaurants the pier (for boat tours). has dedicated parking for hotel. I believe all rooms have a view of the water - sunsets were incredible. this was one of the lower $ options in Tofino and worth it!

A beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the eponymous cove. It’s impossible to overemphasize the relaxing feeling of falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore.

Beautiful views and very comfortable rooms. Could use a better common area outside for people who want to bbq and eat outside.

The room was very nice, but for the high price, small touches were missing such as USB charging for phones, and no EV charging. There was no cleaning service between the nights we stayed. Overall it was very nice, and with a bit more attention to detail, would justify the high price.

Costs more but worth it if you want privacy and a view.

Lovely staff, great room, pet friendly. Very accessible to town. Less than 5 min walk to Co Op supermarket, shops and restaurants. But still very quiet. Check in was very efficient and friendly. Would stay here again.

I loved the big window and the view! Nice balcony too. The inside was bright and roomy, the shower is amazing! The only thing we could have used was a chest of drawers. We stayed for 3 nights and a suitcase gets messy. Walking distance to town was great. We only used the car to leave town. I would definitely recommend Duffin Cove to anyone wanting to visit Tofino.

We stayed in one of the A-frame cabins which were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our kids loved the loft. Tide pools were right outside the door at low tide. Great location in town walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at Duffin Cove. The view and location was wonderful. The rooms were just a bit small and there was nowhere at the lodge to get together to see our friends (like a common area or outdoor fire pits). Would’ve been nice to have daily housekeeping service. The beds were extremely soft, and the pillows weren’t the best. It was a beautiful property though 😊

It’s a beautiful property with wonderful views. But it’s also very hands off, staff wise. Checking in was hard because the front desk girl didn’t come to the front desk for about 10 minutes. Then (with her air pods in) claimed she was busy doing laundry, and that’s why she didn’t hear us call for someone. We even tried phoning the hotel twice to see if that would coax someone to come out, and it didn’t. So that was frustrating. There’s also no restaurant or kitchenette, so you have to find somewhere in town to go for breakfast. Also, one gripe with the room was the bathroom sink was huge, but there was no counter space. So nowhere to put your toiletries or makeup or anything. Beautiful, but not functional is how I’d describe this hotel. For the prices they charge, I’d expect a more luxury experience.

Very noisy when on the first floor could hear everything from above and they started cleaning the room above at 9am woke up to a vacuum cleaner bashing around

The hotel was beautiful inside and out. Stunning views of the ocean from the balcony. The staff were friendly and responsive and you could them reach by text which was very convenient.

The view from the balcony out over the water was gorgeous. The property is located minutes from all the main shop’s & restaurants in town. The location is much more quiet just tucked minutes away from the busy Main Street of Tofino. They service was excellent and staff kept us updated by text and even emailed prior our trip to explain about the highway closures to be expected. Would highly recommend.

Loved room 104. There’s no closet but there’s great balconies

The secluded waterfront view from my room was amazing, and the location close to town was very convenient. Staff were very helpful, accommodating a late check-in and regularly checking in via text throughout my stay. Loved having the in-room Nespresso machine. My room itself was nice and simple but had some signs of wear (perhaps one of the rooms that hasn’t been renovated yet?). Overall a great value though, as the view and convenience were the most important things for me.

This was the highlight stay off my trip around BC. The staff were wonderful. Loved the fact that I could go and get more coffee pods for my morning coffee, I’m a coffee drinker and when a hotel only supplies you with 2 or 3 is never enough. Not here , they allowed me to get pods when I needed them. The views are just magical, The cozy blanket kept me warm on the cool evening watching the sunset . Within walking distance to everything in Tofino . Great stay, I would come back here over and over. The balcony views will be worth every penny .

We had a truly remarkable stay. The room had a large balcony overlooking the ocean with amazing views. It was so quiet that it seemed that we were the only ones there even though there were other guests. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with its double sinks and rain shower. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, a grocery store, restaurants and local attractions. The people at the front desk were friendly and provided us with necessary information as to what was open and closed given the fact that it was low season. If In my travels, I find myself back in Tofino, I would only stay at the Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging.

Absolutely stunning north cabin stay. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, and retail stores. Only negative was hauling suitcases up and down many flights of stairs, but understandable considering the set up of the property. Just something to be aware of.

Our stay at Duffin Cove was simply magical. Perfect location, right in town and walking distance to literally everything. We stayed in the eagle cabin and the view was absolutely breathtaking. We had a few issues with the tv and fireplace, but the staff were so responsive and helpful - they made it their mission to ensure we were having the best time. You could easily visit Tofino and not even leave this resort - absolute paradise! The beds were comfy, the nespresso pods were stocked, and you can’t put a price on that gorgeous ocean view. Thanks for having us! 10/10 recommend

Loved it!

Great location for walking around town. Views were amazing, wish we had better weather. Dana at the front desk was super recommending places around the area and even retrieving our postage stamps that had blown away. Would liked to have had a table for the deck.

Great location in a very modern hotel. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Good bed and great views.

The hotel is fairly new (1-2 years) but it is in a fantastic location in Tofino on the water. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants, galleries and stores in town.

Power failure. Generator running but no power to hotel rooms. When asked we were told the generator was not for guests.

Beautiful, great..room was very nice and needed some more pegs or towel bars to hang towels . A second blanket to sit outside on cool mornings would be great . A place to hang a dress and the ability to make a cup of tea … some small things to make it better..

Great location. Easy check-in and check-out. Helpful staff. Exceptionally clean and modern. Staff is very communicative via texting (almost to a fault). The rooms are a little tight with a king bed, two suitcases and no closet, but overall it worked quite nicely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Stayed two nights and had one really stellar sunset on the deck!

Loved our stay here. The rooms are nicely updated - simple but comfortable. Loved the location, looking at the ocean but right in town and steps away from some great food. It got a little hot on the last night since there's no AC.. the cross breeze from the ocean helps to cool things but we had to close the patio door due to the mosquitoes. Would be nice to have a screen on that door so that we could leave it open all night.

Duffin Cove is beautiful and very peaceful. Rooms are great, spacious bathrooms, beautiful views.

Right in Tofino, so walking east is the town, south 20 min is tonquin beach. King studio with a great view but a little tight

The stay was great in terms of the view, cleanliness, and friendly staff. My only wish was a little more space in the room or little table so I can eat. Some counter space would be nice in the washroom.

Great place in a great village

Great location. Room was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Tofino is an awesome little village and everything is walking distance from hotel. We will return next time.

Duffin Cove was clean and exactly what was in the pictures. beautiful location. Would be nice if they had a hot tub on site. A nice addition to the rooms would be a microwave to heat food and a small dining table. But we understand that by not having these facilities in the room, it encourages us to go out to the local community and spend at the local diners. (not sure if it has always been expensive or if this is an effect of covid) two 6 slice pizza = $67.00 :(

Perfect location and the views were amazing. The staff were so helpful, informative and friendly. The room was beautiful, quiet and spacious. Loved it and will definitely book it again!

Clean, modern and quality finishings in renovations done in 2020. Bathroom had heated floors and bed and pillows very comfortable. Good sound proofing in our unit. It seems all units are ocean front (so don’t pay extra if it is an option. No elevator (had to lug two 50lb suitcases up a set of stairs, so pack light!). Smaller rooms and no bar soap available. Unlimited coffee and friendly front desk staff (only available from 10:00a - 6:00p). Great location in the townsite!

Nice and quite place with lovely views. Only issue was the bed frame was much wider than the mattress so we hit our shins on the edges often.

Great view and location

Had such a great time in Tofino and enjoyed Duffin Cove. Location is ideally located in town but out of the way. Views from the balcony couldn't be beat, especially for the pruce point. Only things that would have made it better would be a tub in the bathroom to warm up after storm watching. Also, the shower was cold the first night.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Duffin Cove. First off, the views from the room are excellent and not to mention just the smell and the sound of the ocean are truly relaxing. Second, the location to downtown (eg. shops and restos) is ideal and everything is within walking distance, especially during good weather. With respect to the hotel itself, couple of things to keep in mind when considering your stay: 1) the front desk is only maintained from 10AM to 6PM but I believe staff are available by text (you should check on this). When staff were on site they were attentive and friendly 2) there are no amentities on site such as pool or laundry but there are some nice communal outside chill spots 3) the newly renovated rooms are great! They have everything you need including a nespresso machine with free pods. Overall, good experience and would return

Fantastic location right at the side of the sea, however bear in mind that not every room faces the open sea - ours didn't so we had a primary view of the trees lining the cove. The sea could be seen if if stepped onto the balcony and looked left. Excellent quality building, which appears relatively new. Very short walk into Tofino so very well located.

The view was great from the north aframe. Loved the cabin itself and the property. They should mention the tricky door lock and how to lock the door on check in. Also, tge fire doesnt stay on in the cabin. Clicks on tgen shuts off once finger is released. Some on came to show us the day before we left but front desk already told me that was just the way it worked.

beautiful views, great location. loved the little food shops across the street. super convenient. can be a little noisy at night (thin walls/floors) but honestly cant even complain much about that. had an amazing time and will absolutely come back and recommend to others!

Quiet part of town and oceanfront views. Private small rocky beach on site. Fabulous resort.

Just a suggestion the bear being part of your business you should promote the facility at the cove and maybe give customers a voucher for discount or a fee toward a meal to get patrons to use the bear. another suggestion is that the cove is a first class lodge it would not be a burden to supply a few bottles of water in the room due to the heat in summer, other that that the lodge was great.

I can’t say enough about this place. Location, views and accommodations are stunning. Bring everything you need with you, because this hotel operates more as a condo. Ex, no staff on site after hours / restaurant. Will stay here again at my earliest chance. It’s beautiful.

Not worth it

Overall the hotel doesnt deserve to price to a value provided. there are lot of areas this hotel can improve a. Room cleaning service b. Towels are missing, constant reminder c. Lack of UBD Ports d. Guests parking but parking not available

The most beautiful views! Beautiful room and amazing service. Right in the heart of tofino this is a must stay we cant stop raving about it.

My bedroom view was amazing! I was in awe of the beauty. The room gave me Bali, bora bora vibes, I felt like I was on a tropical island. I would not be more impressed. The rain shower, the bedroom, balcony, the lights in front of the room at night. It was so peaceful and romantic.

Beautiful views

The room we stayed in was in the older section and very close to the water. We heard the sound of the waves the whole trip and it was lovely and exactly what I hoped for. I was a bit disappointed with the customer service

Redone building right in the town of Tofino within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. However, when you get back to your room, the view on the ocean is so amazing and it feels private. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay again.
