Great helpful staff.
I have stayed in Homer many times and somehow missed this gem. The staff were helpful. The property has beautiful views right off the beach. The room was comfortable and there were multiple dining options nearby. We’ll be staying here on our next trip.
It is what it is. An old building with small rooms, narrow stairway, shared bathroom. There is nothing to complain about, we enjoyed the one night we spent and are grateful they had a vacancy. Its just not a 5 star facility, but plenty good for the price.
Close to sites we were interested in.
Enjoyed the character of the hotel, though not offering the largest of rooms, everything was clean, lobby was quaint. Bathrooms shared but clean. Pleasant staff.
Showers and toilets are common use. 2 bathrooms to a floor. Each room has a sink.
It was nice
Staff are great. View of the mountains amazing
Excellent!! Super kind and helpful staff! Highly recommend
Really nice and quiet place and very warm.
Lots of unique and nice touches in the room and around the property. Superb and kind staff. Felt more like home than most hotels — in a good way. Memorable and enjoyable stay.
Staff was very pleasant, upgraded our room at no additional cost.
They upgraded us to a house on the property that was amazing!
Quiet location, great for roaming around & exploring, close by dining & stores, quaint rooms & facility, extremely friendly staff.
It was a good location. The view was wonderful.
We visited Homer in August of 2022. Driftwood was cozy and home-like. It seems to be family run. Homer is gorgeous. If you go there, the Driftwood Inn is a good choice.
What I didn’t like was being woken a 2am by someone playing the piano when I had to get up at 5 to meet my charter time
The staff was very friendly, the lobby is cozy. We loved ocean view and sounds of the bay.
The room are tiny good services The location is excellent The team workers very nice. We had a very good experience
Good accommodations with all needed amenities
The bathroom in my room was very small.
The staff was pleasant, but the property itself is dated, small, and really was one of my last choices… unfortunately we were desperate for lodging, having taken our trip to Homer spontaneously on a whim and almost everything else was sold out for the night.
Clean - good enough for last minute room. However, Tiny room, thin walls, , when sitting in restroom the people in next room could hear me as well as I could them.
Very charming room
Love the mermaid tiny house. Just no shampoo and body soap.
The floor in room 6 was so uneven it left a huge gap under one end of the door and left you feeling unbalanced when getting out of the super high bed. The bedding was clean and soft but the picture over the bed was not covered in glass and had spots on it.
A very pleasant surprise. There was a large common area with a couple of seating areas and a full kitchen. The individual rooms were very well appointed and clean. Reminded us of a small B&B.
Great location to stage your Homer adventure!
Excellent stay in Homer
Very quant family run hotel. A great value, super view, nice deck and grill. Super homey feeling. Really comfortable sheets and such awesome vib..
Very friendly and nice. Room was clean and pleasant. Tiny rooms but if you want max room camp on the beach! Which btw beach nearby very cool.
Great place to stay.
Wonderful, helpful staff. Called to see about activities we were interested in and availability. Made a reservation for us at a local restaurant.
I loved the location of this property. It felt very home like.
Cute and rustic property by the beach. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Delicious restaurants within walking distance.
Amazing stay!
Grace was amazing. Thank you for all your help!
Everything was fine, slept well. Not much more to say.
Driftwood.... would drift by again...
Great little room in the old Inn. Right next to beach.. super friendly.
Since the building we were staying in was populated by a large extended family that pretty much took over the entire first floor and most of the second we felt like we were living in someones house. Not the most comfortable stay.
The staff was excellent and the facilities exceeded all we could have wished.
The perfect get a way
It was an amazing place to stay. We usually stay at a different place but the Driftwood sold us on a new place to stay. It was clean and the staff was great. Beautiful rooms with TV channels to choose from. We loved it!
Good place away from the crowds.
Good place away from the crowds. Chose one of the one bedroom apartments that is in a six apartment building a short distance from the main hotel. Comfortable with room to spread out.
This is my favorite place to sray in Homer. The price is fair; staff very friendly; located in an area with many options for food.
Excellent customer service. Sandy checked is in and was very pleasant and helpful!
Nice historic hotel near the beach
This historic hotel is not fancy, but well kept and quaint. I liked relaxing on the back porch and taking a morning walk along the beach just down the hill a very short distance. The bunk beds worked great for the kids but I wouldn’t recommend them for adults. Staff is friendly, helpful and always have a fresh pot of coffee brewing in the main lobby. There’s a coffee maker in the room too. Restaurants and attractions are close by foot or car. I’d happily stay here again and my family says I’m way too picky.
Nice hotel with great Eateries close by.
This was a new hotel experience for me. It advertised "shared bathroom" so I wondered how that would work. It worked fine. Two bathrooms were at the end of the short hall. , not next to your room. There is no continental breakfast available. However, very nice, busy restaurants are near by. The double bed was just fine for me. Although, it was so high from the floor I climbed into bed with difficulty..
Beautiful hotel, we stayed in the large house in a king room. Awesome view , friendly staff, close to everything you need. The view is excellent!
Welcoming environment.
Very homey environment and very welcoming lobby....close to ocean. Plan to stay there again. Cute litle captains rooms....!!!
Very good choice!
Very special athmosphere, cozy, very friendly stuff!
Quaint Place
Great view of Kachamek Bay, excellent restaurant across the street and it has entertainment at certain times. Always clean and neat for the customer.
Location, Location, Location!
It is hard to review the accommodations at Driftwood because there are many different options. I spent one night in a tiny converted trailer which was fairly nice except for water/hot water issues. My second night was in a basic upstairs room in the main building. It had bunk beds and shared restrooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Room rates are low for Homer but, beyond coffee, nothing is free. The property is virtually on the beach with a great view of the fjords.
