The Drawing House allowed me to check in early which was much appreciated. The superior room was very nice. Good size for Paris. Breakfast was good. Conveniently located near the Gare Montparnasse. Dining options are close by. I recommend.

Great stay!

Probably the best affordably-priced hotel in Paris, seriously. Modern, great facilities, great staff, great location. Best kept secret (Oops!). Couple things are starting to be in need of maintenance (filtered water dispenser on some floor, some of the gym equipment). Public ice water jugs with fruit infusion are nice for clients but risky from a food safety perspective. I am not a big fan of the menu at the restaurant for dinner but many good local options nearby, notably on Raymond Losserand just 300 M away. Check out the Turkish kebab place with great tasting "menu du jour" options (souris d'agneau, coucous royal, etc.). Another favorite is the unassuming "Bistro du Metro" which has great food and good beers on tap.

It was my second time at the Drawing House and I loved it! Friendly staff, clean rooms, great restaurant, and conveniently located by the train station. I will be back again!

I had an overnight stay before getting the train from Montparnasse station I checked in at 7, very easy and english speaking desk as you'd probably expect I had dinner in the restaurant, which was very nice and standard pricing. The room itself was lovely - the bed incredibly comfortable. Shower was good, didnt try the toiletries that were available. Breakfast in the morning was fine, not spectacular Walk to the train station was flat and 5-6 minutes I'd recommend to anyone who needs something close to the station

A cute & quirky hotel but beware no AC in October

Was in town for an art show and booked this quirky little hotel - a bit off the beaten path, but clean and definitely unique, with rooms and even floors designed by different artists. Very accommodating with converters for those of us who forgot and mini fridge if you ask. Of note - the air conditioning and even the fans had been turned off for "winter" (it was early October and the temperature was as high as 75 degrees) - the rooms were very hot and you had to sleep with the window open although they offered a fan to help. Overall though a great place to stay if you prefer a "non-touristy" part of France with a lovely market and easy access to the Metro.

This is my second stay. Incredibly convenient for gare montparnasse and a lot nicer than other hotels in the area with the same price. I’ll stay again for my next work trip for sure.

The location, staff, food quality and cleanliness is excellent. The facilities are very good. The online description was accurate, which when deciding on your stay for me is crucial. I recommend this hotel to the point of returning in 2025. Well done Drawing House.

Decent hotel for the price

The place is beautiful, clean and organized. The workers are very friendly and helpful. The food is great. We are very happy with our stay at Drawing House.

This property was perfect for me . It was at a walking distance from la tour Eiffel and Notre Dame . That is if you like walking. My stay was short but enjoyed it . The breakfast buffet offered many options as well. I am definitely coming back to try the spa and pool .

The hotel is new and I like the artistic concept of the hotel but the room is kind of small and sink is not very functional not easy to use it unfortunately. Location is good tho close to metro.

Good hotel, but tourists will have to travel a bit

Not the most "tourist friendly" area of Paris, but you can easily get to the tourist areas on the subway, 2 blocks away. Also, very convenient to one train station which is why we stayed here. A nice hotel. Good staff. Very pleased for our needs. We took a taxi, subway, or made LONG walks to the fun areas of Paris.

It was Just Perfect!

Perfect Paris Placement

Drawing house was superbly placed to visit the attractions of Paris being near the metro and one of the coolest suburbs. The breakfast buffet choice was brilliant and the room perfectly comfortable. We would stay again. The one slight downside is the staff are a little too relaxed, but that might be the arty attitude of the place. We didn’t have any specific issues with it.

Wonderful place. We really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful hotel, clean room, great location, great breakfast, superb facilities and fantastic staff. Lady Peggy was so attentive and nice. The only issue we had, was the drawing in our room. I didn’t like it at all and this is because of my religious beliefs but everything else was perfect. I will definitely go back but will request a different room and a different floor.

Stayed for 2 nights in May 2024. Very pleasant service at front desk and room was very clean. Metro links close by.

Absolutely Perfect!

This hotel is absolutely great! We had our first stay at the hotel for 3 months and we chose to stay here again for another long stay of 6 weeks. The hotel is very clean, rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel has nice gym area, pool and sauna, which feels like a retreat. The restaurant area has very nice ambience for both breakfast and dinner, or just to do some business emails during the day. Hotel location was perfect for us being outside of the main tourist area with plenty of local shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. The walk to the Notre Dame takes 35-40 minutes or one can metro (we never did as we like walking). Jardins de Luxembourg is 20 minute walk and is beautiful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris either for business or leisure. Great value for the money.

Gorgeous hotel, clean fun and quiet

A great clean hotel with alot of charm. Every floor is designed by a different artist, the food and cocktails are wonderful and the pool is a beautiful relaxing area, bring a book! The road itself at first seems a little lacklustre but you are a 2 minute from a metro snd 3 min walk from a very well connected train station (Versailles, Montmarte and all the usual tourist locations are 20 mins away tops). Very very quiet, really comfy beds and I would definitely recommend this hotel (and the breakfast was great.)

Lovely, Comfortable Hotel

Lovely hotel in a good location, near the Metro. The staff were lovely, very friendly & helpful. Due to the Rugby World Cup, it was very busy + they had several conferences. Despite this, they went out of their way to help. Only downside was that the bar ran out of draught & bottled beer & cider.

Great hotel with reasonable prices.

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are very clean and service was excellent. Also, the breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The location was also very good. Close to lots of decent restaurants and easy access to public transportation.

The room was big and comfortable! The hotel is really well situated. The only thing that was missing for me in the room was a mini fridge and microwave. If you are traveling with friends, note that the shower is kinda open and can be seen from the room. Overall, i would recommend this hotel.

My stay at The Drawing House in August 2023 was nothing short of exceptional. This boutique hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the helpful staff with stellar restaurant recommendations to the nice sauna and pool facilities, we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Our rooms were a true sanctuary and reasonably priced. Impeccably clean, it felt brand new with its modern decor and furnishings. The spaciousness of the room gave me ample room to unwind and spread out, making my stay incredibly comfortable. In today's tech-centric world, I greatly appreciated the inclusion of USB power outlets in the room. It made recharging my devices hassle-free, allowing me to stay connected and plan my adventures. A very nice hotel, well placed for the metro, offering easy access to the whole of Paris. Locally there are a wide range of restaurants & bars. It felt like a safe area to walk around of an evening The staff were really helpful. The rooms were made up each day, though bedding didnt appear to have been changed during our 7 day visit. The towels etc were of high quality, ^ overall room failaities were good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Drawing House. Just wished we were given a tour of the hotel when we arrived to know where everything was located. The AC and fridge were not that great. The staff were sweet and welcoming. Everything else was exceptional!

A great location to explore south of the river. Montparnesse cemetery, tower, catacombs all in a short walking distance. 30 mins to Musee D’Orsay and others. Cool area with great restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff, great facilities in the hotel. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding!

There's so much to say about this hotel. They accommodate us two times with changing our room. They also did not charge us for the late checkout. Two times I woke up in the middle of the night and requested bottles bottles of water. The staff at 2:00 a.m. in the morning brought the water to my room two times. The staff was all professional and polite. The cleanliness of the hotel was awesome. The maintenance of the hotel was outstanding.

Great place but just a few small drawbacks - no fridge in the room- I travel with medication so this was an issue. They also had no hair conditioner. The air conditioner made a rattling sound and that was irritating. Otherwise the room was beautiful and very quiet and well located near Gare Montparnesse.

Fabulous!

Beautiful hotel in a lovely area. Lots of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk with a greatnevening vibe, with loads of people sitting out, eating and drinking. Hotel staff were all very helpful, and spoke great english. Rooms were large and the pool and spa were a very welcome addition. All in all, we had an amazing stay.

Dont bother eating in the restaurant poor service and poor quality food if iwas better versed in french i would of argued qbout the so call rib of beef and my starter we ordered. I was tired and fust wanted to eat and retire to bed. Substandard food and service.

We had a great stay of 4 days. The location is close to Metro and several great places for meals. The room was a good size for Paris and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely return.

Clean, subway close, quiet

This hotel was gorgoeus! The room was lovely and had everything we needed. We only bought breakfast downstairs one day, but there was a great amount of options. (Only yogurt, ham, cheese and scrambled eggs and fruit if you’re gluten free but maybe they have have gf bread if you ask). The location isn’t the prettiest street but it’s only 2 blocks to a fantastic restaurant street, Rue de La Gaite, and down to a fun food hub. And there are metro stops very close by. We had to leave Paris from Montparnasse station early in the morning so it was an ideal location with a foot bridge across to the station only a 30sec walk from the front door.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to eat there as we preferred to go out. I don't love Montparnasse, but if I had to stay in that area again, I'd choose the Drawing Room without thinking twice.

Unique, stylish and extremely comfortable.

Stayed in the Drawing House for 6 nights. The hotel is fab...bedrooms very comfortable and serviced each day. The hotel is convenient to Rue de Gaeite where there are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from. Metro and bus stops inle minutes walk away. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Three Star Hotel maybe, not Four.

Rooms extremely small, barely large enough for 2. Bathroom sink area large enough for 1 at a time, just barely. Bed, sheets, towels were all high quality and comfortable, but that's the best thing I can say about this place. No mini-refrigerator and you couldn't open the window because the metal coat box was in the way. All tv channels in French, but whatever. Location was good and about 10 min from the big train station where you can get a train or taxi (recommend taxi). Breakfast was ok, nothing special, powdered scrambled eggs, fruit mix and bread selection every morning. Not sure what makes this hotel a 4 star. Desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast staff not so much. They seemed annoyed to be there and not very friendly to any of the guests. Seemed like they were working this job a little too long and the quick smile was quickly replaced with a look of disgust as they dealt with customers. Disappointed in this hotel and would not stay here again.

Most staff members were bilingual and very welcoming. Very family friendly. It’s located in a super accessible area with everything you need within its proximity. I would definitely stay there again.

One of my favourite hotels I have stayed in. Unique design and is clean; it looked brand new. The location is excellent; a 2 min walk to the train station. It took us 20 mins to get to the Louvre museum. I couldn't recommend it enough!

when I registered I ask about my room and the receptionist assured me this is one other best room. I have been traveling around the world and I have never ever been put in this small;l room looking at a housing block and I am sure they have used part of the corridor to build my room.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Located right next to a subway station and Gare Montparnasse so many public transit options available. 30-40 minute walk from the Seine so you can walk to many of the "tourist" attractions.

Located very close to subway station Gaité, and walkable distance to Vavin and Edgar Quinet where there are a lot of great dining options. This is a beautiful hotel with a very unique concept: each floor has been decorated by a different artist. The rooms are very ample for a hotel in France, everything is new, very clean and has been designed for comfort: the bed is very comfortable (and bigger than a double, perfect for a couple), sparkling water is available at all times, the room is quite warm, the TV is easily configured to use with any content from a cellphone, the WiFi is fast, the shower is great... Location is also great, with a metro station about 6 minutes walking, and walking distance from great restaurants and shopping in Montmartre (without the craziness of the downtown areas). Price is more than fair, for all the great things it includes (there's even a pool that we didn't have the chance to use, but appreciated having the option). Honestly, we enjoyed our stay here so much that we decided to stay in Paris a few more days and reserved another room here.

I'm traveling a lot and have to say, that this hotel is a gem. Fantastic service, very clean, comfortable bed, very nice design, good location.

Wonderful, friendly staff, lovely room, brilliantly located for everything. Had the most wonderful couple of days with my daughter. Twin room was lovely - clean and has everything you need. Breakfast is expensive for what you get - but thats to be expected in any hotel. The staff were incredible - going above and beyond. Train station just round corner. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris.

Booked this property just a few days out from our trip as our other hotel plans fell through. I am glad they other plans did. This place was great! The staff was great, we don't speak a lot of French, and it seemed like everyone knew more than one language! They were super friendly and the rooms were super nice. Not a single complaint about the room or staff. I do wish they had a better selection of food for dining in or room service though. The bar was great though, and the bartender, was super nice. Overall, I would recommend this place in a heart beat, and when we do come back to Paris, we will book here again! No second thoughts about it!

Cool Artsy Hotel

We spent two nights at The Drawing Room while in Paris. It was a lovely hotel; you can tell it is new because it was very clean! I loved the art influence in the décor and the art displays in the lobby. I did not have a chance to try the sauna unfortunately. I was told at the front desk to call to schedule a time to use the pool and sauna; I guess they want to keep it from being too busy. However, when I called in the evening, they had no more times open for that night or the next morning. Oh well! So if you are interested in using the sauna, make a reservation when you check in! We enjoyed the breakfast in the lobby lounge as well. The rooms are quite large for Paris hotel standards but the toilet room was tiny. The shower is wonderful! The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Gare Montparnasse, which is why I chose it. Definitely would recommend a stay at the Drawing Room!

Modern and clean in a great neighbourhood (Montparnasse) that was perfect for our trips into and out of the city by TGV

I was very impressed with my stay here. The front staff was exceptional and catered to all my questions and needs. Only a block away from the Metro, which was perfect!

A very nice modern hotel. Location is really down to yourself and what you need and want, its far from the most obvious sites. Its on trend and similar to places like Mama Shelter in terms of the rooms etc

Nice quiet and calm hotel with inspiring art and lovely staff. More catering facilities on site would be amazing.

Great location, artfully rendered property. Staff was warm but inefficient, especially with calling transportation to airport, following up. One employee did a fantastic job communicating but others were rather hands off. Queues can be quite long at busy time and staff were limited on their availability to meet demands -- more a management issue than front line staff.

This is a clean hotel with the best shower ever. The pool looks like it's stainless steel, really nice, but indoor. The staff is super nice. I enjoyed my stay.

What an amazing experience!! I loved all of the staff who worked there and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The decor and ambiance was amazing too and I wish I could have tried out the pool! Next time, for sure. My only complaint would be the food selection, especially for dinner. I wish the menu would have been a little larger with more of a selection. Thank you for everything! I will definitely be back!
