This is my new favorite hotel in SLC! I will book this hotel every time I go to SLC now!

Everything was top of the line. You could tell that quality and cleanliness were priority. Everything about our room was beautiful. Bed and bedding were so comfortable. Front desk was so friendly and helpful. All other staff were friendly as well. We will definitely choose Double Tree whenever possible for future stays. Cookies were tasty too!

Love this Hotel.

Wonderful Hotel. Amazing Atrium elevator up. Nice Swimming pool for the kids, restaurant and coffee shop and the service was outstanding.

The facility was lovely! The staff was friendly and helpful from check in staff, to housekeeping staff, to staff in the adjoining restaurant. The attached parking ramp made accessibility a breeze.

Excellent place to stay

This property was not up to the standard of the brand. The thermostat in the room didn’t work, the sink was clogged upon arrival, the internet was weak, parking was an additional fee that was not clearly advertised before checking in. Overall the property felt a bit tired and in need of a touch up. Paint was chipping throughout the hotel and in our room. With all the other options in the area I will likely not choose this property again.

It was ok, and pretty.

Was a great place and we loved the warm cookies. That was a five star move for my wife!

The beds were too hard and pillows too soft for my liking. I could never really get comfortable enough to get a good night sleep. There was also someone's hair all over the shower curtain/tub and the bathroom sink took too long to drain. I addressed the issue with the front desk before I left for the day, and the issue was resolved before I got back. I did discover the next morning that not all of the hair was gone.

Amazing location close to downtown and a beautiful hotel. Parking was difficult however. They have a parking garage but it fills up in the evening and not alot of other places to park nearby.

Excellent service, in house restaurant with fresh food, the room was soooo comfortable! Had an awesome stay for our last leg of our long trip. This we will be returning too!

Hot tub and pool were nice

Central location, close to a lot of good eats. Staff was friendly and made good recommendations to places to eat. Several great restaurants within walkable distance. Room were spacious and clean. However, roof was leaking in main lobby for two days of our trip.

Convenient location, generously sized suite. Cleaning service not the greatest as replacing coffee supplies and paper goods was lacking.

The hotel was beautiful

Fun place to stay!

Beautiful building. Fun experience. The inside tends to echo and is loud when there are a lot of guests. Parking is $18 and that was not disclosed during check-in. Would likely stay again but park somewhere else.

Wish we were notified that this property was hosting players from a children hockey league. It was extremely loud and kids were running everywhere unsupervised around the hotel and the pool area. We let the front desk know there were about 10-15 young kids in the pool messing around but they did not seem to worry about it.

Wasn’t bad but I expected better appliances in the room. Views weren’t as described in the booking process but the room decor was nice.

Nice room, older hotel

You can tell this was an older hotel, however they did a good job making it feel clean and welcoming. We weren’t able to utilize the hot tub, which is the main reason we selected this hotel. We got in, only to find something brown and floating in the water. We got out and let the front desk know. It was also a bummer that if you decide to add on the breakfast after you book your room it’s a lot more expensive. So if you want the breakfast option select it now! Would stay there again.

Convenient, Clean, and Courteous!

I always enjoy staying at this property. It’s conveniently located near the freeway and close to local attractions. While there is a fee for the parking garage ($18/night), it's worth it for the downtown space and easy access in and out. The rooms are spacious with a great layout, and the views are lovely. The amenities are modern, and the overall feel is clean and comfortable. I ordered room service and really enjoyed the pretzel bites, though I’d skip the hummus next time. I also had a pleasant drink at the bar, but the wine pour was a bit skimpy for the price. I also waited a little over five minutes at a vacant bar before being attended to, which was a bit odd. Other than that, the stay was wonderful, and the staff was very polite. This will likely be my go-to spot for all future SLC stays. I love this place!

We were there with 10 of our grandchildren and we loved everything about our stay there from the warm chocolate chip cookies, the pool, the spacious rooms, etc. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

My go to stay!

My friends and I chose to stay at the same hotel.We wished the restaurant was still open after the concert. We ended up eating chips from the hotel gift shop.

This hotel was beautiful. Staff was great. Our room was wonderful. Such a great stay!

We didnt have hot water just barely warm. Parking you pay PER night. Oh but they give you cookies, service was good.

I came here for a convention that was happening and was able to hop on the free tram every morning no problem and get back and forth in a few minutes. The property was great and my room was STUNNING.

Clean and friendly staff

It was good, clean, and wasn’t bothered by other guests or staff. There was a false fire alarm that definitely startled us but that didn’t last long. We had an awesome experience with the night front desk staff, Rick, he was an absolute gem! Would definitely come back to see Rick!!

It’s a great place to stay

Everything was very nice and clean, large open lobby area to hangout in was very cool. The only issue I saw was that it cost over $200 for one night and they still charged us $20 to park. Parking, the restaurant in the lobby, and the hotel were all entirely too expensive but it’s a nice hotel

The staff were 10 stars! Rooms cozy, clean and quiet. Very good breakfast buffet. Stayed for 3 nights and will come back again!

Excellent place, very comfortable room. Unfortunately the heat stopped working and the last night was a bit chilly. We were offered to move to another room but didnt want to do it for just the one night.

The ac didnt seem like its working. Our room was a tad bit hot even tho it was set at 65 deg. The bath tub doesnt have a stopper. Shower kept dripping water even tho it was off, as well as, the sink. I hope the TV has video subscriptions so we have a few options to watch. The workers were very friendly and accomodatng. As for food, we ordered breakfast room service. I ordered eggs benedict-eggs were overcookee, the bread was very soggy with oil, hollaindaise didnt taste like hollandaise. Potatoes were undercooked. Overall, just dont expect too much from this place.

Hotel desk had our reservation under the wrong name and took over an hour to get it figured out and get us checked In then our bed was dirty and they had to switch us rooms. That room was not remodeled and was outdated also was not cleaned properly and we found items from previous tenants in it

It's a beautiful, clean and comfy property

The property was very clean and the staff was excellent, but safety was a concern. Several homeless people walk by the front of the property on a regular basis. Was approached by a female asking me for money as soon as I exited the front door. Also had an incident in the parking garage where a male on a bike was casing Automobiles. He startled my family (have small children) as we got out of our car after dinner at 10:30 PM. I alerted The front desk. Be very careful in this parking garage, especially in the evening. They need to increase their security. Definitely felt unsafe.

The DoubleTree downtown is a nice hotel with spacious rooms and is in an accessible location. The rooms were clean and had plenty of amenities - we stayed in a one-room with a separate living area with a table and large couch as well as a fridge. The pillows and bed were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The hotel is located just around the corner from Slat Lake's shadiest Motel 6 where seedy activity is going down hourly, so I wouldn't be prone to let kids walk near the hotel, especially at night. But the hotel itself is nice and clean and large and has great amenities. It's just outside of what i would consider the heart of downtown, but still within very short driving distance or Uber distance to some awesome eateries and things to do.

It was absolutely fantastic! I've never felt so safe in a hotel! There were so many options for food and a bar at the hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing! We are already planning more trips to this hotel!

Checking in and out was a breeze! Staff are super nice and friendly. We love the breakfast buffet and Elham is a rockstar! Amazing service from her, very nice and hospitable. We also love the cookies and refreshing ice cold water in the lobby.

I stayed here for a night with my big family. I love everything about it. I can’t complain will stay here again.

Great location - easy to walk downtown. Room was very spacious - we could not hear the tv in the bedroom from the living room. Nice to have that separate room!

Great property

Bathroom sink drain was broken and dirty. Shower wouldn’t drain so we had to stand in our dirty water. Living room sink wood panel fell off almost took out my wife. No QR codes to order food when we called front desk they were less than empathetic and said I quote”oh well we don’t have menus”.

If you stay at this hotel, be cautious of overcharging and carefully review your credit card statements to ensure you aren't being charged for things you didn't purchase.

The Front Desk Staff, checking in and out was Gracious, knowledgeable, considerate and professional. My stay was great. However I could not understand the reason for only 1 roll of tiolet tissue left in the room

Check in staff was amazing!! Room was clean and as advertised. As a female traveling with kids I felt safe and well informed.

Their air conditioner didn’t work well even after having asked to fix it several times. The room temperature was never below 72 degrees!

Not to pleasant

Original room we had got wasn’t ready still dirty. They gave us a different room which was good, but while we checked the beds there was a can of nicotine under the mattress and a box of condoms that my toddler found in the drawers.

I had a great stay, the pool has adult only hours which is very nice. Staff were friendly but a little distracted at times. Parking was $18 a night as well which I wasn’t aware of before I got there. Overall nice, clean, and safe though. I would stay again.

The hotel is located in downtown Salt Lake with easy access to other activities. Traveling with a dog, the location was close to some walkable areas. Overall, this was a nice stay. The room was clean but had that older carpet smell. I ordered room service and it was quick and tasty.
