Loved the staff! Especially William and Christian the valets. And Jose the bartender was also excellent.

My stay was nice at the Hilton everyone around was nice they had some good food choices around and it was nice walkable area the room was a bit small but otherwise no real complaints.

The service was excellent. Location was convenient. Property was clean and well-maintained. I would stay here again. Transportation to the beach was quick and easy.

We stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton, San Juan to relax and explore before joining our cruise ship. The Hotel provided an excellent base from which to visit the beach by shuttle bus and for taxis into the old town. The staff were excellent and the hotel was very good but we often found the air conditioning a bit chilly for us and the colour scheme lacks a wow factor. The staff recommended Bebo’s as a place to eat, just round the corner. It was excellent to eat there - a busy place!

Property is a drive or Uber ride to old San Juan, but we had a car so it was no big deal. Right across the street from a grocery store so super convenient for that reason. Also, don’t sleep on the pool - very private. Feels like a resort.

Would not recommend staying here

For the price you pay for this property, more is expected. Lack of attention to guest room readiness and cleanliness. Murphy bed had hair on it, sheets were changed on request but definitely makes me doubt if room was actually cleaned. Conditioner bottle was empty. pool area too small for the property.

I enjoyed everything about the property, the staff, room, walking distance to other stores, especially how convenient it was to a supermarket across from the hotel.

You will have to pay for parking and is $25 self parking to $30 valet. Plus tax. It shouldn’t be that way or that expensive.

Courteous service, convenient location when cruising out of San Juan. Spacious room, with a fabulous shower, stayed pre and post cruise, and would stay here again.

Hallway in front of the room smelled like poop. Spoke to the front desk but nothing changed during our stay. Room is very small for the price. Extremely overpriced hotel restaurant. Luckily there are alot of eateries close by. Would rather stay at embassy suites closer to the airport. Much nicer rooms and hotel amenities

My sister, brother-in-law, and I had a great experience when we stayed at Doubletree by Hilton San Juan. Staff was extremely friendly and always greeted us when we encountered each other. They were easy to speak with and contact whenever we had any questions or concerns. When we reported an issue with our room, just as a precaution not expecting anything out of of it, the manager and staff followed up with us, provided us with an update, allowed us to change our rooms, and gave us a complimentary meal. We were not expecting this at all! We felt very welcomed and at peace here. We would definitely book here again for any future trips to San Juan, Puerto Rico. I would also like to add that everything is centrally located here. From the hotel you can walk down Calle Loíza and try different restaurants and even walk down to La Placita.

Highly recommend the Double Tree. The hotel is clean, safe and modern. The hotel is in an ideal location near old San Juan. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The valet staff including William, James and jaison were fantastic. The front end staff including margarita were kind and supportive. We highly recommend !

This hotel is convenient and the best part is their employees. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We used UBER as a transportation and it was convenient, easy, fast and reasonable prices. The beach close to the hotel is very dangerous for swimming. The pool at the hotel is small but nice an is open 24 hours. The cafe at the hotel is great. Food is very good. We recommend this hotel

The Murphy bed was just okay but the room was good. The staff were so nice and helpful. The pool is so wonderful and pretty. Overall I would stay again.

I've stayed at this particular hotel a few times and we always enjoy it. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is great, the bar is nice and pool area has never been crowdy. It is centric and love walking to Condado and around. Plus, of course... COOKIES! RECOMMENDED.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was great and the oatmeal was delicious.

When traveling to Puerto Rico Double Tree is always my first choice

My stay was fabulous!! The location is great , staff super nice, the food at the cafe was delicious! I can’t not say anything bad about this place. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back. I have a house in Puerto Rico and would still return. The convenience of the proximity to everything is well worth it!!!

The Doubletree was a great hotel. The 24 hour market across the street, nearby beach and multiple restaurants on the area were all a plus. There’s an on-site restaurant that I didn’t try but seemed to have a constant flow of customers throughout my stay so I’ll assume it’s good lol. They also offered a ride to the beach which included free beach chairs and umbrella. The only small issues was 3 different holds being placed on my card (which was expected but as one charge not 3) and during our time of departure the valet couldn’t find our rental key for about 15 minutes which was a little nerve wrecking bc we had an early flight. Other than those two small things we really enjoyed the hotel and our stay at the Doubletree.

I have to say the staff were extremely courteous and professional. Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect. Worth the money. Food at Pierre Cafe was excellent it was very convenient.

Hotel looked great, very modern. Loved that I could walk over to the adjoining dining options. Had no issues with the room itself. Having a room next to an ice maker was a lot less peaceful than other areas of the hotel. If you’re on the ground floor the activity by the pool can be loud as well. Great for a short or longer stay.

Excellent place to stay. Only two problems: There was a mix up that a worker gave away our room to someone else after we told them we would be landing at 0200 in the morning. They put us in a downgraded room until the morning. Then when we tried to get our proper room, a clerk that acted like he was a manager didn't want us to get our room and tried to block it. His coworkers worked something out anyway (I don't think they liked him too much...) Wasn't the room we ordered (King bed /Balcony, but it was nice. rest of the staff, especially the night guys, were awesome. If it wasn't for the one jack@ss, they would've gotten 5 stars. Would've liked to have gotten our room though. We were thinking about returning for a birthday soon, but....

We always like staying here. Check in and out is always quick and easy. If there’s a problem, the staff is quick to fix it! Walking distance to “the strip” lots of things to see and eat right around the corner. They will drive you to the beach where you get chairs and towels. 24 hour supermarket across the street!

Pool area had a continuous fowl odor of mildew and needs more attention/monitored by hotel staff. Also, I suffer with allergies and smelled heavy mildew/damp orders in the carpet areas of the hotel, such as the hallways which is attributed to wet persons coming from the pool or beach. Because of allergies, I would not select this hotel again. However, Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Charged my card unauthorized

I stayed here for a week and truly enjoyed my stayed, everyone was very welcoming, my room was always cleaned. The lobby and rooms were clean and modern, Our bar tender Omar was truly sweet and made us the best drinks. They have an underground parking level which we used for our car rental, you are central to airport, 10 minutes from Old San Juan and la placita. We were close enough to the beach but away from the big tourist crowd, we had quiet nights and the pool was usually empty. I will return here again. Thank you!!!

Great place to stay.

Surprised my man for his birthday we barely made it out of the hotel within our 5 day stay. We didn’t even wanna leave everything was amazing down to the room service. We were playing pool, chess, ping pong & even in the jaguzzi from 3am until about 9am. The food was a 10/10 and we definitely made friends with the staff. Definitely will go again !!

I would definately come back there are always pros and cons on every hotel i LOVE the pool being open 24 hours a day i wish the bar would be open to at least 12 midnight and i thought rooms were a little small but either way it was a great place to stay ..that pool being open 24 hours a day made my decision

The property is clean, located centrally. The pool is small, no outside food and bar. The bathroom faces the beds with a silhouette glass, which I didn’t like.
