A great location for ease
Easy location between the airport and the town. The location felt a bit odd, but taxis were easy to get - good location for a quick stop over, but not for a longer Italian experience.
Good hotel but location is not grrat
Lovely hotel, nice staff and good breakfast. Family rooms are great but it is quite out from the centre and it looks like it’s an area not to be outside at night time. If it wasn’t for the location, I would definitely recommend it for tourists. I presume it’d be good for business as you don’t care as much?
Good location.
The customer service very good in the reception and the manager helpful and Well-mannered The rooms looks old and not clean also there is bad smell in the room
It’s far, hôtel was not well maintained, despite having a new exterior.
There were no amenities at all in the room. My luggage did not arrived until 2 days later, so it would help if there were amenities to ease the inconvenience as my flight was delayed and didn’t arrived till early morning 3am ITA.
Great hotel. Star was extremely helpful. Difficult to get to historical sites using the transit system.
Over all experience was good, the reception staff was friendly, very helpful. The evening meals was value for money if you hadn't had a chance to go out. The staff in the dining area in the evenings were excellent and very polite. On the other hand the fried breakfast was poor, the bacon was soaked in oil and the scrambled eggs was not cooked very well. The rest of the breakfast was very good.
Great front desk! Breakfast can be better
Business area, suitable for business travellers only.
Nice hotel on the outskirts of Milan - easy parking but not the best area - however if you have a car the area isn’t a huge concern since you can drive to where you want. Staff was accommodating and nice.
Staff was great, rooms were comfortable and clean for the most part. There was one incidence where we returned to the room and I’m not sure why but there was bathroom garbage on the main desk ( like just a pile without the garbage can ) I’m not sure why. Maybe maid forgot it? Breakfast was good. We parked on the street but the do have a garage for 20 e a day.
No metro stations
Amazing staff.
Hotel is in a run down industrial area. But tge tram that runs down town is only 2 blocks away. The hotel is older but in pretty good condition. Staff was excellent.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had great entree and well planned, Staff were professional, friendly and personable. Overall a great brief stay.
No bell service house keeping inefficient, poor supply of drinking water, very slow response. I will never stay, this is not Hilton standard
Thank you to the manager for 2 free drinks at the bar. Olde the bartender made our unexpected reservation an enjoyable evening. Pino Grigio and fresh strawberries from their restaurant garden was delicious. Stay away from the grilled chicken, overcooked and dry. Service was exceptional
Love the clean and spacious room. The concierge and receptionist are also very helpful and attentive. The cons is only the location. Over all, I will stay in this hotel again for my next Milan trip
Good option for business trip
Only stayed one night on a quick business trip to Milan but the hotel did the job.
Easy access to Milan centre via direct number 12 tram 2 euros each way. Lovely hotel comfy beds, kettles and tea and coffee in rooms, clean, really helpful staff we asked loads of questions. Free water in room.
There was a young boy working he only had good customer service. The lady on 29th august working afternoon shift, she was poor I waited hours for tea mugs, nothing came, I asked for towels notjing came… I called several times. She seemed lazy
Great stay!
Staff was amazing! Unfortunately we had to switch rooms since the first room had mold, and allergies were affected immediately. Front desk took care of switching I us to a new room in minutes which was very impressive. Agent was caring enough to keep us in same floor to avoid difficult move, sp caring. The 2 twin beds are so close to one another that feels like it’s a queen bed.
Very clean hotel with super friendly staff.
Perfect for a quick stop in Milan. Taxi or Uber to Duomo was approx EUR25. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Parking was easy and affordable. Would choose this hotel again for my next trip to Milan.
Everyone was wonderfully helpful and friendly.
Safe and Quiet
Comfortable & welcoming
The hotel was clean , staff was friendly & welcoming . I did find the location to be in an area that is not necessary ideal if you plan late nights ( the area around the hotel looks more like a industrial park than a homely friendly neighborhood ) but transport from central Milan was good ( tram 12 was 5 minutes away , there is also tram 1 around the corner & a train station 12 minutes walk away ) . Room service was good( the tiramisu was divine ) The room looks dated , it could use a coat of paint & a good deep clean around the grout on the tiles . It's ideal for people that want to spend the days outside the hotel , not easy to pop in and drop shopping off as it's 30 min away from Milan city centre
Great hotel.
Stay was great and the team were very accommodating. The rooms were cold and the hot water was not working! I know it’s not directly the hotels fault but disappointing to have this happen.
Nice and cosy hotel for busniess traveller. Hotel staffs are very friendly.
Great place to stay
Staff were amazing and so helpful. Loved the cleanliness and the service.
Good
Needs renovation
The place is dirty, never vacuumed and the rooms are impossible to control the temperature. Go elsewhere.
Pissed at Hilton
A great time in Milan. Only one negative detail: when we checked in we were charged an additional $20, being allegedly a city tourist tax. I was obliged to pay this in cash. The next day I went to Reception to pat a restaurant bill of 24 EU, where I was charged another 10 EU city tourist tax. Then when I checked out, I was again charge $10 city tourist tax. I really did not expect to be scammed this way by a Hilron hotel. I'm pissed and don't intend to ever stay at a Hilton again.
A very standard business hotel. Big disadvantage is distance from the underground.
Very unsatisfied
Shuttle driver and bell hop were very nice and accommodation however the front desk staff is incompetent and the hotel is in serious need of a remodel. Carpet in common areas is absolutely disgusting and the building should really be knocked down and rebuilt. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Italy and certainly does not live up to the doubletree name .
too far from anything
Transportation
It was a great stay. Just the things that you want to go see are a 10 minute drive and both the uber and taxi are a bit expensive. But besides that I really enjoyed my stay.
It was a nice stay , helpful staff, good facilities, nice gym But I do not recommend the breakfast
Starting with the positives: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's restaurant serves breakfast every morning, which was decent. Dinner menu was not extensive, but was OK. The main disappointing thing for me was the location of the hotel, which seemed pretty far from everywhere. Hotel's neighborhood was mostly residential and industrial, so it wasn't the best place for just walking around. Metro is not easily accessible. To get to downtown (centro), you would need to walk for about 10 minutes to get to the nearest tram station and then ride the tram until you get to either close to centro or a metro station. We ended up getting a cab from/to the hotel each time, which costs anywhere between 20 to 30 euros depending on where you want to go. The building was relatively new and the rooms were pretty clean. However, the bathrooms were not very convenient. Shower curtains did not cover the entire shower area, so no matter how careful you were, you would end up spraying water all over the place. To make matters worse, shower floor inclination was not sufficient, which means water would just sit on the floor until it dries.
Lovely hotel, just a bit out the way from the centre however they do what they can to get you to the main attractions (like providing a shuttle service)
Superior service
Excellent and great service. Definitely will stay here again
Was ask to pay additional cost to add more onions to my fired eggs for breakfast. My room 505 floors carpet needs changing has heavy water mark. Although all staff are well trained and of Hilton standard. I have been a HH member for over 18 years. I have seen better accommodations at Hilton world wide.
Great hotel. V comfortable and well located. Great breakfast.
Not the best location to explore Milan, but good enough if you’re coming for a fame at San Siro.
Breakfast needs to be improved but Hotel as expected
Nice hotel, good price, little out of town
Staye here for the design fair. Its a nice enough hotel, but outside of town as we couldn't find a hotel nearer to town as everything was booked. Clean, polite staff and functional hotel. As its outside of the centre, theres's not much around and the area is a little rough around it. Would still recommend it as hotel is good.
it was close to downtown Milan just a shot train ride on line 12. staff was very nice. room were nice but the carpet in our room was stained bad so it look dirty.
Clean and comfortable. Great service and good breakfast!
Very nice modern hotel. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant and bar prices are responsible. You must bring your own face towels though. It is not customary for European hotels to carry them.
I would go back
somewhat central to Milan city but the immediate surroundings are not nice. Good comfort and quite a newly built hotel. Room key using a card reader didn't work but that was rectified immediately. They could do with an extra front desk receptionist to help check out in mornings when its busy.
There was a HUGE problem with mosquitos out on the terrace - we repeatedly told the hotel staff about it and were told that candles would be put on the tables which was never done, asked again and were told that bug spray would be supplied, this was also never done. It was unbelievable. Not just a one time thing - we tried to address this several times and were told each time that it was being handled. NOTHING WAS DONE. We spent over $6000 at this facility and asking for this to be handled wasn't too much to expect. Would never stay at this hotel again.
Great for the exhibition fair ground
Really nice hotel, well positioned for the exhibition ground, great service
Great value
I travel for a living For me, and for this specific area of town I would definetly stay here again Good food, clean, great staff & great value
Good location
Spacious clean room
Dissapointed
Service wasn't great, room was of a decent standard but the hotel in general is quite underwhelming. The computers were apparently broke but the technition they sent had no idea about PC's got it to work briefly myself but it crashed a lot. Order a ceasar salad, which came without croutons (they bought toast once I asked where the croutons were) they also seemed to kiss the ceasar dressing which arrived after having to ask. Not the worst hotel you'll stay at but definately not the worst either. 6/10
No aircondition...dirty carpets
Very bad experience....no aircondition...blocked drains
Great visit to Milan
Very nice clean friendly hotel. Great value
Ok no 4 star though
No wake up calls for 2 days nearly missed my train back. Housekeeping left all dirty towels in room didn't remove dirty dishes no cups for coffee. And no care that no one called for wake up request. I won't stay there ever again.
Very good
Poor reception service, all else was great
Convenient & clean hotel
Hotel was very clean & convenient although not very close to city center & metro was far from hotel. But Overall was veryy please by stay. Internet service was very poor & slow.
Good Option at a Great Price...!!!
Stayed there for 2 days. Location is amazingly good at everything is just at couple of footsteps. Will recommend to all those who want Good Stay with a Amazing Location at a Good Price...
Comfy & efficient.
very efficient, modern. Mediocre breakfast. Pleasant courtyard for cocktails or lunch. Restaurant to be avoided. Very comfortable rooms, pleasant staff.
Very nice and closed to Milan
Upon arrival checking in was quite fast plus the welcome cookie really taste good. No hassle of filling of form's or other document's. The room looks great and very clean.....with the fluffy pillows sleeping was pleasant. I took the tram and metro to Milan city centre, very cheap way of moving around specially when buying the daily ticket @ Euro4.50 which is valid for 24 hours.
Must go to Duomo!
It was nice. Friendly staff and very helpful. My travel partner arrived before I did and they did everything possible to make her comfortable while she waited for me to arrive. Thankful for the private bathroom!
Over booked
Arrived just past midnight. Two rooms prepaid and booked a few weeks in advance. Only to know that they had no rooms for us. When traveling frequently in business this is not what I expected from Hilton. Last visit there was a nearly two day power out in this hotel, understand accidents can happen. Now with this I'm not intending to visit this hotel again.
Great hotel, not a convenient location
The hotel was nice and new with great service. But check the location carefully, it's outside Milan's beltway, almost 7km from he sightseeing areas. I noticed lots of business people too at he hotel, perhaps that's the majority of the clientele.
Comfortable, but nothing to do
If you need to stay in the bubble of American chain hotels, the rooms, service and food will satisfy you. There are no local restaurants, however, and nothing interesting within walking distance: typical Milan. The hotel is well connected to the tram lines, however.
good experience
a little further from airport than expected. Although only 11 km, took an hour to get there and $50 Euro ride
Convenient
I chose Doubletree as i am familiar with the Hilton brand and it was 10 minutes away from my business meeting. It's a lovely hotel with very friendly staff but as a woman i wouldn't feel safe going out in the surrounding area at night. I would stay here again
Average
Nice clean room and bathroom, bed is absoultely dreadful as are the pillows. Not a great location.
Clean, modern, comfortable
Very nice hotel to stay. I have used it at least four times over the past two years. However, it is not that conveniently located and you will need taxis to get around if you do not have a car.
the only hotel in a residential area
Nice hotel but location is not the greatest
Really Good hotel, just a bit out of the way
Really Good hotel, just a bit out of the way from the city centre, not much near the hotel apart from a small supermarket nearby.
great hotel
The hotel was great, room was very nice and spacious (specially for Europe). The staff was very hepfull and well trained. Breakfast was also very good, well above European standards, lots of choices and great tasting. The only bad thing is the location, it is little complex using public transport. However if don't mind paying a few extra Euros for taxis you'll be ok. Personally, when in Europe, I try to use public transportation so I wouldn't use this hotel again. But cabs take about 2-3 minutes to get there so again if you don't mind using the extra cash this is a great option.
Awesome Stay!
The DoubleTree hotel was amazing. The staff was great. The food was good. A 20 minute taxi ride gets you right to the Duomo. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
I stayed for only one night, but the room and breakfast were more than adequate and the staff on reception were very helpful
Great hotel but out of the town
Lovely hotel, great room. Breakfast a bit chaotic due to tourist groups.Hotel provides a shuttle bus to rail station and some other venues which helps
great price, great hotel
great hotel for business stays. nice service and clean rooms.
Affordable and functional hotel
The hotel is functional. It is quite far from the centr of town: 20 minutes by tram and 15 euro by taxi. It is an area with offices. Restaurants are few. The closest one is a good italian family restaurant (Imagine) about a 10 minute walk away. On the positive side the price iwa quite good for a for star otel in Milano.
Good Quality Hotel
The hotel is a little out of town but only a 10min walk from Milano Cetosa railway station, with frequent connections into the centre of Milan. A supermarket and Mc Donalds close by.
Good
The hotel is nice and clean. The food was just okay. The negative was that the air conditioner is controlled by the reception so we had to keep callung them to fix tge temp. on our last nught it stopped working in the middle of the night and they cudnt fix it.. They offered to change rooms but one of us was already asleep. Alot of reviews said there were "women of the night" but we never saw any.
pritty good
nice hotel, nice price, a little bit far away from center of Milan taxi about 12 euro.
lovely hotel, far from attractions
Lovely hotel. A bit far from the main attractions. Reception always ran out of tram tickets in the morning. Overall very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Welcome cookies were great!
A comfortable base for weekend getaway with car
Hotel was very comfortable and was convenient to public transport to central Milan. Location of Hotel was not great in that there was not a lot close by. A good base for accessing central Milan, or for touring out of the city by car. Free car parking was readily available on street outside of hotel, for ovenight and weekend.
middle of nowhere
Hotel itself is very nice, rooms well appointed (altho only English TV channel is news and there is no iron or ironing board), but it's at the bottom of the a long road of the kind that you see on industrial estates and is surrounded by a mix of run down buildings and building sites. Just don't expect any views. They will call taxis, which are expensive in Milan (watch out for the set 90 euro charge from the airpoirt) and you will have to use them because there is no other way to get to any of the places you might need to go to for either business or pleasure. The hotel blurb says it's in the middle of the business district - that just begs the question what business they were thinking of??
it's not Hilton. Staff was unfreindly
not good
Very nice hotel
The accomodation was very nice, the staff was helpful. The room is well equipped. Using electronic plugs was not a problem. The breakfast was very good with large range of food to choose from. I would definitely recommend the hotel if using public transport not a problem for you.
Great time in Milan
Great hotel for the price, the rooms were clean, staff were friendly. There was great street parking and it wasn't located too far from downtown. Would definitely recommend
very pleased with stay
this hotel was a very good find. The location was not ideal but was no trouble getting into town, with a tram going every 7 minutes. The local area had plenty of restuarants to go and have dinnier as the hotel restuarant is expensive, although it is a nice meal. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Will stay again
Terrible Scrambled Egg and Expensive Bar
The location is not too bad but unfortunately not near any train or underground stations, however, the hot buffet part of the breakfast is absolutely awful, in particular the scrambled egg tastes absolutely dreadful, clearly it is made of some kind of tasteless powdered egg, the bacon is poor quality and poorly cooked, it says a lot when I was tempted to have an egg McMuffin at McDonalds 250m away. The only problem was that the hotel is relatively new and 2 out of 3 taxis had no idea where it was. Other than that the staff were friendly and helpful.
decent - as it should be.
Well - the hotel is fairly new & well presented. The staff were very good - especially Mara on the front desk who looked after us very well during our stay. Room clean, breakfast good & the price was reasonable for the quality. There is not a lot in the surrounding areas & taxis are VERY expensive. On that note - as the Hotel is near RHO exhibition ground & that is the main reason for staying in that location they should really offer a shuttle service during the main fairs. It cost us around 40 Euro / day there & back for a 10 min ride.
Highly recommended!
This new hotel is not in downtown Milan, but taxi only cost us 15 euro from train station to the hotel or 10 euro from the shopping area. Staffs were very friendly to show us how to go from the hotel to downtown by tram, it was easy and cheap. First day check in, they welcome us with a big warm chocolate cookie! The room was extremely clean and comfortable, good side washroom. The bed almost kept me in the hotel all day. However, the restaurant seems a bit un-organized, there were a mistake on our bill and it took them about 20 mins to correct it for us. Also the shuttle bus service they provided was expensive, it was cheaper to take the taxi! Over all, I love this hotel, will definitely stay there again.
Nice Hotel to Stay, check for food specially if you dont like much of italian
Hi, Milan is a good place but i faced the issue of Food which is not good provided in the Hotel rest all is ok. There is a nearby Mcdonald which is better then what you get in this hotel and pay for it. KAPIL
we will never go back!
We wanted the Hilton next to the train station! This was miles to the train station and we paid more than 50 euro back and forth. Even the tram/streetcar was about a mile from the hotel. Cab driver didn't even recognize the address. We were totally disgusted with the location.
Good, but not perfect
Was pleased overall with the quality of the Hotel... though there were a few things that proved annoying. On the second night there was a fire alarm, and the staff had absolutely no idea what was going on. A number of us had made our way to the meeting point and the staff inside were going about their work as usual. No-one came out to tell us what to do and we eventually made our way back in. We had a number of aborted fire alarms the next day which we pretty much had to ignore. Apparently someone was smoking in their room... seems like it would have been easier to kick them out. Room quality was very good, and the bed was both massive (queen size?) and very comfortable. Only real negative was that for some reason the minibar fridge didn't work and I'm not sure the aircon in the room was working either. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the barman who was probably the most friendly and attentive staff member I've ever met in a hotel. Restaurant food was good... but ludicrously priced. We only ate there one night, as much because of the limited choice as the pricing. Service wasn't particularly good in the restaurant, a little too pushy, but you'll never find yourself without a waiter! 4 or 5 different ones in our case. Location initially seems quite out of the way, but Milan's excellent transport system means you're only a 10 minute walk from a major train station (Milano Certosa) which can get you to the main hub (Garibaldi).
Great hotel
The hotel is a bit out of the way but in an area where I felt quite safe. It's conveniently located in terms of the the city transit system. The hotel it self is very nice- very modern, and the staff were very helpful. As a non-Italian speaker I was made to feel welcome and didn't have any trouble in getting answers to any questions. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good both in terms of food and service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Great property, clean and great staff. Only bad thing is it’s a little far from shopping.
