Very nice hotel

A peaceful oasis in a sea of noise. Station opposite, lots of street vendors but the hotel was calm and quiet.

Great property and superior customer service. We had some miscommunication regarding airport pickup but the manager was very kind and apologetic about it. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent overall

A 5-star break at a 5-star venue

As expected of Hilton, service was very professional and business-like. Staff were friendly and super helpful. The only downside was that my travel buddy and I were assigned rooms on different floors. This would normally not be an issue had we been able to freely roam but with the strict and secure access of room cards being limited to the floor of the assigned room, it required coordination if we wanted to meet and hang out in each other's room.

The staff at the hotel go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after during your stay. The hotel is lovely, great pool and gym. Both restaurants are good. Room was quiet however the air con wouldn't set below 23°C which got a bit hot at night. We had to ask quite a few times for it to be fixed but they did offer to move us and give a complementary breakfast. The bathroom was overall nice however there was some mould on the shower head around the holes where the water comes out and there was a lingering musty smell after the shower had been used. There isn't so much to do in the immediate surroundings, suggest using My Bluebird taxis to get around.

Indigo restaurant & swimming pool

I would call it a great home base from where you can explore the rest of the nearby Jakarta area. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean. The crowning moment for my stay was the gym: four squat racks, assault bikes, full set of kettlebell, and the usual cardio strength machines. Definitely a great place to work off all the Indo food you will be eating. Buffet and restaurant was adequate, but it was pricier than the surrounding food. I would say eat the hotel food as a starting point for your culinary adventure as they have cleaner variants of what you would find outside. There are a few tourist attractions nearby as well as clubs and night markets. Of no fault of the hotel, traffic is a constant nightmare (remember to add 10-15 mins to any Google map estimate of travel).

Nothing is perfect, but very comfortable rooms, breakfast options were amazing. Staff friendly and overall a good stay. Not much outside the walls for good dining other than lots of street vendors.

Nothing to share.

The hotel is very pleasant and the room were clean. The front desk was attentive and helpful in securing rides and answering questions. The windows were a bit dirty on the outside--a cleaner exterior would have enabled us to more fully enjoy the view and cityscape. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is not the hotel to stay at during a holiday. It was overcrowded leading to 15 to 20 min waits for the 2 elevators on the property. We were woken up daily at 6am to children screaming and running back and forth down the hallway. We spent most of our stay out of the hotel. The manager apologized but there was nothing he could do to improve our stay.

It was a good choice

We were recommended to stay at the Doubletree Hilton by our friends who absolutely have had great stays in the past. We got two rooms. There are only two working elevators in the whole property and due to their full capacity, we were all waiting anywhere between 15 to 25 min for an elevator and even when it did come we were squished like sardines. Our second issue was the lack of supervision we were on a floor surrounded by young children and every morning we got the 6am wake up call of screaming little ones. Although the manager apologized, it would be a hard decision to try it again. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Jakarta that I was very happy with,

Warm and welcoming staff

Overall I had a great experience here. The room was very comfortable, but for me the standout was the friendliness of the staff, who were always on hand to help.

Hotel very nice, but you are reliant on the hotel for restaurants / bars as there is nothing in local area.

A great relaxing place

It was a great three nights in this fabulous hotel. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. The hotel is large as well as the room. All staff members were kind, polite, and helpful. Taxis were available at all time. Breakfast was a broad of variety. A very excellent choice. Thank you all

Our stay overall was very good! The staff were very friendly and would help in any way they can. Had a small incident where the bed smelled like food (maybe from the previous user) and the hotel staff were able to accommodate right away.

The perfect staycation place in Jakarta with breakfast buffet, gym, pool, and kids club available. Getting around with GoCar/private car was quite easy. The only thing that took down 1 star out of 5 was the broken light switch and bad lighting in the bathroom. I reckon the bulbs need changing. Other than that, everything else was great! Would still recommend. Thanks, DoubleTree by Hilton! :)

Excellent Hotel

The best stay I've ever had in Jakarta and I have had a number. The staff do seem to genuinely care about the guests. The room we had was clean and quiet. The amenities within the hotel and the swimming pool and outdoor area where immaculate and again staff we're very helpful. I would recommend if you are staying in Jakarta stay in this hotel you get a five-star stay that would probably beat any of the other five star hotels in Jakarta

When we call something for room service, it takes a long time, not once it happend 2/3 times.

Fantastic hotel and overall service

Amazing hotel, high standard of services, and very attentive staff. Hotel is also in a good / safe location in Jakarta for getting around the city.

The hotel overall are good. It is on the slope so is walking out and back a problem. When we took taxi back we have to paid extra for the parking even just dropping off. The breakfast first are super.

Excellent, clean hotel. Good location. Staff friendly, but extremely professional. Also, very helpful. Whatever questions we had, they gave us very useful and helpful responses and suggestions. It was like being surrounded by friends. They all speak very good English. We usually don't pay for breakfast at the hotels (as we like to sleep in on our holidays), but paid this time and did not regret it. Their buffet is absolutely amazing, with several huge tables full of different dishes from different cuisines, from toast to fully cooked meals. I even had a local specialty prepared by their chef, Steve, and I must admit that was the highlight of my stay. One thing I wasn't happy with was the pool hours. Finishing at 7:30 was way too early.

It was pleasant stay except Spa was kind of disappointing. For name of Hilton, they should improve the service of spa. Also quality of towels in the room.

Nearly perfect

Everything was perfect except for a minor problem during breakfast. They insisted that we only had 2 breakfast included, not including a child. So that I would have to pay extra. That was annoying as I made sure we had 3 when booking. But later I didn’t have to pay extra, I paid the same price I booked.

Nice an pleasant hotel to stay in Jakarta

This without exaggeration was the best property we have ever stayed in. A separate positive email was sent to the GM and Director of Operations. Staff were all impeccable, hotel was clean, and this gave an amazing perspective on our holiday. A must stay.

Still unable to get the room at 3.45pm even I checked in at 2.15pm. Counter staff unable to let me know when the room be ready. Breakfast, asked for coffee 3 times before being serve.

First stay at DoubleTree

Booked a Twin Room for a business trip, hotel breakfast was good with wide selections of local and international cuisine. The only complaint is the location, the nearest mall is Plaza Indonesia which was located 30 minutes away and the traffic near the hotel can be quite congested around evening peak hours.

Great scenic pool in the middle of Jakarta

Great place to relax in the middle of Jakarta with a very nice scenic pool. The Deluxe Suite was great with a living room that projected out from the hotel with glass on 3 sides overlooking the pool. The treats from the Executive lounge were great. The staff was very nice. Definitely want to stay there again. Great breakfast buffet that takes several days to try everything.

Nice swimming pool. Room was a bit stuffed if you stay with kids and poor soundproofing. Amenities and wifi connection are good. The breakfast area was spacious however food variety was not much and taste need to be improved.

It can be better

The hotel has a warm atmosphere and nice coffee shop Also have nice swimming pool which I couldn't use because of corona restrictions they close at 5pm which I think it's too much over.

The hotel is beautiful and calming, but getting in and out from it is a hassle. i wont go again if for the food.

nice location , new hotel and good crew over there

What stood out for us was the personal touch. We’re there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, the room was decorated with heart shaped towels and flower petals around it. There was a cake and a greeting card. All the staff members are courteous and helpful.

Over all hospitality is fine. No complimentary breakfast.

Reasonably priced hotel with excellent service

Great experience from concierge to check in. Love the welcome cookie which is warm, crunchy and delicious. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast spread is excellent and service staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. Value for money. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing stay.

Amazing stay at Doubletree by Hilton. The room(with fitness equipment), services and breakfast were great. The only thing that was not so good was the next room occupants were very noisy until early hours. Also If you are booking for a special event such as New Year’s Eve celebrations beware of the Meal and free flow alcoholic package, not worth it. Better just get the meal only package and make sure you confirm again at check in. Overall, fabulous and one of my favourite hotel. We definitely will be back.

Amazing hospitality with calm and prompt responses at concierge. We made the most out of staying at the hotel! Breakfast was also great with varieties from around the world. Chef was ready to tell us more about culture behind the food.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Great service staff. The restaurant serve very nice food at decent prices.

Aircon in most rooms dont work. Too few elevator.

I stayed in total 4 different room so far. None of the aircon will get near to say 23 degree despite setting the display to 16, and the fan speed to high. The beddings and pillow are materials that retain body heat and hence it is very uncomfortable. When I complained, I was upgraded to a suite and that aircon works. This hotel only has 2 elevator serving all the floors. In the morning hours, it is always a frustrating wait at the elevator.

Pros: good value for money, very nice pool, very nice facilities, tv had lots of channels, bed was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful Cons: bathroom smelled like sewage, shower floor and walls were no clean, furniture and carpet had a lot of stains and sticky finger prints, tv was very pixelated and slow, restaurant was way overpriced and the food quality wasnt that good for that price, double tree cookie was hard as a rock.

An oasis in the middle of everything

Great hotel with excellent service. The staff there was extremely helpful and service orientated. My only gripe, though no fault of staff, is the missing WiFi. Honestly, charging for WiFi should be considered draconian in this day and age. That aside, it was a great stay.

Need to solve ac problem

Well it has only hilton type property.Room ac is in very bad shape.It is so hot in day time that you have to leave the room and make your way somewhere else.

Could do better

I had to call the hotel to know where was the driver, waited for him a long time. Despite I asked a room for three, and paid for that through hotels.com, included my 8 years old daughter, the hôtel didn’t give me a room for three and wanted to charge me for an extra bed and breakfast

Outstanding Service!

What can say! What an experience in service! I think there are a many hotels (including other branches of the Hilton group of hotels) that can really learn a few things from the staff at Double Tree By Hilton, Jakarta. I have traveled to many places and stayed in varied types accommodations and have never experienced the level of attentiveness displayed by the staff. It would be difficult to single out any one member of staff for praise. However, I must mention Iqbal, who organized our change in room. And Shendy in the restaurant who had the most courteous mannerism. However, as with all my reviews, there are room for improvement and things other travelers may want to consider. A) The outdoor pool had a lingering smell from the drains. Which made the experience of swimming in the pool a little unpleasant. B) We requested a change in room as the bathroom in the room was separated by a glass panel which left little to the imagination from someone looking in from the room. We had an 8 year old with us, hence the request to change rooms. We stayed in various places in Indonesia during out summer vacation this year, and the food at the Double Tree Hilton Jakarta was the best – for range, quality and service.

Well its a little piece of paradise from a crazy world of traffic to calm and quiet ... very very safe food was great ....make sure you buy the breakfast buffet

The swimming pool was fantastic. Hotel is ideal for family with kids. Breakfast comes with lots of varieties. One particular staff, Karind, even escort us to our seats and brought over our coffee during breakfast. Excellent service.

It feels like an oasis in the midst of mayhem. Security is thorough. No vehicles can enter the grounds without being checked by a crew of security guards plus dog. Again personal security check prior to entering the building. Inside everything is polite friendly service from the competent staff. Food venues are excellent. The pool is expensive and tranquil most of the time. One slight issue is the soundproofing. Beds are excellent.

Check in was tough otherwise this is the most amazing hotel...would love to stay here again! A special thanks to Gita at reception for being so amazingly helpful.

All good except I had noisy neighbors. They were talking across midnight and early morning. So I think the soundproofing of the room is not effective.

Great big pool. Lounge chairs could use some sprucing up. But they put up new cabanas which you can use with a minimum spending of IDR 500k++ at the pool bar (a bit too pricey in my opinion). Rooms are nice. And free delicious fresh baked cookies at check in is always a nice touch

Great hospitality

It has been a wonderful stay. People at the hotel are with a never say NO attitude.

Entering the property makes you feel away from the city. Great pool and nice gym gives a resort feel. You can simply stay in the hotel whole day not getting bored. Excellent service!! Warm welcome from front desk, concierge, valet. Moving to the cafes, you can placed your order and food will be serve to you despite its a buffet breakie! Quiet executive lounge for work and chilling out away from crowd! Overall, we would to stay at DoubleTree by Hilton again during our next visit.

We were starving so we really appreciated the warm cookie reception. :) The masseuse at the spa wasn't as great. And the spa face pillows stank bad!

NOT 5* - 10 DAYS STAY

Stayed here for 10 days. NO upgrade for such a long stay as we went through a 3rd party (hotels.com). Not even able to use lounge - 10 days is a long time on a single booking. Toiletries, etc in short supply as given in tiny little bottles, shower not strong, fresh juice given but NO real squeezed orange juice as available in smaller hotels in Jakarta. Staff were really GREAT - especially at breakfast & concierge. NOT great value for 10 days stay.

Check in/out was speedy, rooms are great. Breakfast is a must try! Location is a little off from city center but it was perfect for me!
