I stay here regularly for business. It’s the best choice in jiaxing for westerners regarding comfort, food and service. Good breakfast buffet.

Disappointing Service

I’ve booked for 1 room 3 pax including my kid. But breakfast is only for 2. I can’t understand why then I informed the number of pax during booking. Paid for kid’s breakfast but the staffs at the coffee house was more interested in collecting the breakfast charges. Staff didn’t even bother to get us a place to sit. By 0900 breakfast almost all gone. Refill was slow. End up nothing much to eat.

Bathroom shower is moldy ! Just needs a good bleaching

Temperature control issues in rooms. Gym was sweltering hot miserable. Service has improved moderately but has s ways to go. Morning coffee flavor is very rough.

Good hotel near the ancient water village

Primarily a conference / MICE hotel it would seem, it is also very close (300m) to the ancient water village. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped for the price and all have a lake view I think. Check in was easy (even for a non-Chinese speaker) as the front desk staff speak good English. Little English was spoken in the main restaurant, but ordering by iPad was a) modern and b) made this painless. Food was excellent and arrived quickly. My only regret was that the hotel seems to have no bar / lounge to relax in at the end of the day, which is odd. Very good "art shop" in the foyer with good stuff at reasonable prices.

Great location and hotel

Its a great quite and beautiful location. If I am in this area would always stay here. Hotel should considering adding Nespresso machines instead of instant Nestle packs

This was one of the best hotel on my trip

Loved staying here. So clean and sparkling clean. Very comfortable bed. The staff was very nice. It was one of the most relaxing places to stay.

Taxis are hard to get. The staff English is at best, fair. The doorman who handles taxis speaks no English at all, how are you supposed to catch a taxi. The decor and architecture are superb.

Quiet Hotel, need improvement on Customer Service

We booked 2 rooms through Expedia and requested to be at the same floor from the beginning of our booking , even though it's low season with a lots of empty rooms, staff said it's not possible as we booked through Expedia. My friend and I were at different floor, as well as the end of each side of the building, very inconvenience for us. Started to wonder... if this really a 4 stars hotel... It's low season, when we dined at the restaurant we nearly had the whole restaurant to ourselves, but it's also in the cold season, heating system in public area and restaurant are bad, it's freezing even you're indoors.

Very good price and comfortable room. I checked out at 8:30am and only two receptionests at the front desk. It took me 20 minutes for waiting and 5 minutes for check-out, never seen such super slow check out process.

Great place in Jiaxing

A nice hotel with a big swimming pool and great luxurious rooms. The staff is trying their best to live up to the Hilton standards, good job! Very good impression overall. It would be nice to have Cappuccino or Latte included in the breakfast buffet, not just plain coffee.

The Best In Jiaxing

Other than the standards by its name, which is superb, compared to other local competitors, it has separate the smoking room and non-smoking room well and it gave me a sense of hallucination that I was in the states.

Best in town

I have to admit that I haven't been to Hilton's families a lot, but this place is absolutely the best in this small town. Just built in last year, the lawn was perfect, the food is way above standards, and the atmosphere remind me a little of the States. Probably is the only place I felt relaxing during my business trip. The best thing is that the price was approachable.

Beautiful new hotel in Jiaxing - nice atmoshere

We were very surprised to discover this very new, modern and beautiful hotel built in a park-like setting next to the canal in Jiaxing. 5 minute taxi or 15 minute walk to the "Mall". Not too far from the center. Coming from Shanghai -- it felt like an escape to the country. Breakfast was elaborate but very focused on Chinese style breakfast -- there was yogurt, fruit and pastry but mostly the hot breakfast was Chinese selections. Coffee was excellent. Overall a pleasant experience. It is right in the city but a little far from the main tourist areas (Moon River, etc.) but it is easy to get around Jiaxing and it is nice to stay in such a beautiful setting. The hotel is new and feels like a country club or rural resort.

Fab staff, comfortable room & attention to detail

DoubleTree by Hilton in Jaixing was an unexpected surprise. The staff were the biggest asset. All were very helpful and attentive. I stayed in two room types as I extended my stay by a day- and both rooms were very spacious and had large bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The Executive room had the added benefits of a generous afternoon happy hour with free snacks and drinks. The executive lounge on the 5th floor was a place to relax and also use amenities. However I feel the lounge could provide more snacks and not only basic coffee from a machine that should make latte, cappuccino etc. My excutive room was basically the same as the room I stayed in a couple fo days before. Only a little larger with basically the same amenities in the room. So the pluses are the executive lounge and the happy hour. The hotel has an impressive foyeur with a spectacular display of fountains in the evening- and it adds to the warmth and the experience. The buffet is impressive with a wide range of both western and Chinese foods. Highly recommendable. A down side of my executive room had bad ventilation and a bad drainage smell. The staff worked on correcting this the following day. Generally a highly recommendable stay not far from Wu Zhen watercity- so you can easily take a taxi to Wu Zhen if thats your primary reason for the visit.

Perfect Hotel, aand i never say that

Great location, just opened so it was in great condition. The buffet breakfast was excellent as was evrything about the hotel including the service. I only stay in 4 and 5 star Hotels in China and this fit the bill perfectly.

The decoration and space

They could not take my foreign Credit card (I successfully paid before and after at hotel in Shanghai) so I had to pay cash for my room. The room was not a non smoking room. After dinner they had used air cleaner so it was bearable, but people were smoking everywhere. Will only sty again because of the location and because there are no other good options

中国出張では珍しく市街地から離れたリゾートタイプのホテルを選びました。周りには何もなくホテル内の施設んを満喫しました。やることがないので早く寝て朝6時からホテルのジムで1時間走りました。 朝食のオススメは嘉兴名物のチマキです。

町の中心から遠く、周辺に何もないので非常に不便。3階建てのモーテルの感じで、どこがヒルトンなのかとがっかりしました。

Super fint hotel med masser af behjælpligt personale. Engelsk på et nogenlunde niveau, men man finder altid ud af det. Man mødes med et smil og de er altid klar med en hjælpen hånd. Det ligger lidt isoleret fra byen Fantastisk restaurant på hotellet
