Hotel needs renovation.

A welcoming member of staff checked me in quickly and valet parking was free . Everything looked fine until entering the bathroom . The latch on the door didn’t work , the bottom of the door was falling apart . The shower was difficult to use as water cascaded onto the floor . It was so run down I got the room changed . The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation and was not worth the 140 odd USD to stay there. There are plenty of better hotels at a similar price . Won’t stay again .

Great breakfast! The staff serving breakfast were the best, they were very professional and very attentive. I felt I was in a luxury restaurant.

I Had such a very lovely stay & I was a lone, single American. Woke up to inexpensive wonderful Room Service, everything so fresh & would order tea & dessert in evening in the room. They even delivered a beautiful cake on my birthday. I felt very safe & walked to the Bazaar, clock tower, Pier waterfront, shops & restaurants. I just kept situational awareness. I tripped once on street & 3 men happened to be right there (2 in uniform like security) & they insisted in helping me up, seated me at cafe & got me a tea. I felt so cared for. Front desk so kind & taxis always waiting. Wonderful stay!!

Lokasyon olarak iyi bir yerde ama odalar bayağı küçük. Bu anlamda memnun kalmadık. En üst kattaki havuz açık değil ama zaten açıkta olsa o da maalesef çok küçük. Adı Hilton ama bu paraya civarda daha iyi otellerde kalınabilir diye düşünüyorum.

I forgot my phone charger in my room I noticed after checkout. When I called the hotel and asked for my charger, they said it was not there. but I'm sure I forgot room number 511 on the right side of the bed.

Awful place. Pool is closed, co communication anywhere. Staff are actually disgusting with no ability to think for themselves or use Initiative.

Great location, food and service.

Fantastic location very central but a little noisy due to location. The breakfast was sooo good and fresh, delicious Turkish breakfast. We all loved our stay here, espcially the kids.

Excellent Service

The hotel offers excellent service from the time you hand the keys and start check in. Very helpful. Would have loved if the hotel had interleading rooms as we are a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 young children) but they did put our rooms next to each other. Very kind and willing to chat as to which sights to see etc. thank you.

Excellent service, needed maintenance for a new light bulb & TV which was prompt. Room service and food excellent.

Family with teens

The front desk staff were so incredibly helpful and spoke such wonderful English. They even helped teach us some Turkish phrases, which we had been saying incorrectly. The room was perfect for our family of 4, two of which are teenagers. We really enjoyed the view too.

The quality was not As much as good as name of Hilton.

Izmir

Room was small but functional. Breakfast facility extremely crowded and busy in the 0730-0830 period with tour groups. Breakfast variety excellent. Very helpful front desk staff (air conditioning questions, left luggage, etc.) - efficient and friendly service. Good central location - tram stops within easy walk. Taxis readily available.

On the plus side, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, and the service is good. On the downside, the rooms are small... really small.

One Night to Forget

Amongst my stays at Hilton chain hotels, this stay was a disaster. Arriving late in the evening, we had a sleepless night. After unpacking, we discovered that one of the rooms had a disfunctiong air-condition. We reported this issue to the front desk and wasted time waiting to to resolve the AC problem. Then they moved to another room. Unfortunately, we found out later that the AC was not working as well. I must mention my disappointment with the rudeness and unprofessional treatment of the reception staff called “JEHAN”. I approached him and requested help to make an urgent phone call, but he refused to assist. He claimed that he would be busy helping the other guests waiting behind me. I stepped aside for thirty minutes and then went back to him. He impolitely shouted: I can not help you.

Hilton Doubletree Alsancak Izmir

Very disappointing stay here. This hotel is better described as an overnight stopover hotel for tours not a holiday hotel No doubletree cookie offered despite pictures of them everywhere! . We booked a non smoking room but did not get one and they would not change it only provided an air freshener which spoiled the room stay. At the pool there were no sunbed or chair cushions and the area was hardly ever manned so very uncomfortable to use. The breakfast was adequate only with warm water to drink or squash offered, no orange juice. The room was never made up until after 4.30pm so we couldn't even relax inthe room in the afternoon. We booked for 7 days but left after just 5 as the stay was too uncomfortable and not relaxing, Reception were not interested as to why we left so early. We chose the Hilton Doubletree to stay as we had recently had a great experience at their hotel in Aqaba and this one was well below the standard of that one and so disappointing. as the standard is inconsistent we would now reconsider staying at one of their hotels again or recommending them.

Oh my God the hotel staff in this hotel are so amazing, down to the person who does house keeping, you can see they clean your room with pride and dignity, the breakfast selection is so huge and the property is so clean

Just so-so. Not the Hilton chain that I was expecting. People are nice though and always try to help. Not very proficient in English barely sufficient.

Pleasant stay and nicely located

Apart from the pool not being in operation the hotel was satisfactory. Bed was very comfortable and the rooms clean and well stocked with what you would expect for a business traveller. Breakfast was good with a fine selection.

steer away from this place

I had a terrible experience. I did not feel welcomed and the electricity kept going out, not to mention the hotel is under renovations and the room that we were given should have not been let out.

Very nice hotel with very helpful staff, who where very happy to help with a couple of minor issues I had. They even served me food in the restaurant after 23:00hrs as I arrived late. Very comfortable beds and quality linen. Very happy to stay there again. :)

Font staff a bit careless. We apply membership of hilton by writing and they put our name switching i got the email from hilton but under my friend name. I complaint them they said they will correct in system or apply the new one for us. Until now no email from hilton membership system. Poor hilon for this kind of service.

Visit to Izmir

It would be very difficult to fault this hotel. Welcoming , comfortable, good price. The rooms are small, the shower is great, comfortable bed. Beautifully clean. Great mushroom omelette for breakfast.

Would not stay there again

Just a 2 night stay while visiting partners family near by. Checking in they asked for my card to charge for the second night as apparently it hasn't been charged yet to which I showed my proof by email and they soon retracted. The carpets in the room were covered in stains, I took pictures of it as it was that bad! Just for proof it was already in that state before we were there. On the first night some alarm from a building near the hotel was going off all night long until we went to breakfast the next morning. The luggage assistant said he called the police 3 times and they arrived just at breakfast time. It was very disturbing as we couldn't sleep properly through the night. The next morning my partner and I tried to take showers and the on tap was extremely tough to turn on and the hot/cold valve didn't go cool at all. We both had to take boiling hot showers and report it to the front desk as we left the hotel to which we were assured it would be looked at during the day. Late in the evening we tried to shower again and it was still exactly the same. We called reception to which she admitted no one had looked at it and said she would send someone up immediately. It's was then fixed in around 15 mins max. Terrible quality for a Hilton brand. Would not stay there again, simply not worth the money paid.

Poor quality

The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel as a whole is falling apart. It smells like mold throughout. The customer service was extremely bad. Our TV and phone did not work in our room. I asked the concierge 4 times if he could come up and fix the TV and no one ever came to our room to help us. The neighborhood is grotty and loud. Would not recommend.

Easy to go anywhere

Everything is good except the air conditioner was terrible because it's didn't work so the temperature at my room is quite hot like turn it off.

Staff was friendly and was quick to provide special requests. Overall, room was pleasant.

Stayed last year for business and will book again for next year, great food and rooms are huge, highly recommended.

hello all the hotel staff was very charming and helpful. They went the extra mile, on how to get the bus and not get lost. we also decided to rent the car at last minute, they arrange it all and even the car was delivered to the hotel. Very good breakfast buffett. excelente place

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days over Christmas. Can't speak highly enough of the staff. The location was very central and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean.

I travelled with girlfriend on a two-night stay. As I was a hilton honor member, I got a room on the 8th floor. Room is small but seems to be recently renovated. Bathroom is clean and functional. The only disappointment is stained carpet. Water temperature was also a problem on the first night. When reported to the ftont desk the followingmorning, it was quickly corrected. The neighborhood is good and a short walk to cafes and restaurants. All in all a great stay but I would choose hilton next time for a much larger room.

Fantastic service

Excellent service from friendly staff, great location, within 10 minutes walk to the coast with scores of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Walking distance to Konak. A delicious welcome cookie was provided on arrival and a complimentary bottle of water was waiting in the room. If you are a member of their HHonors scheme you can get more water and a fruit basket and Silver/Gold members can get free WIFI. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The bathroom was large with a nice shower and decent quality shampoo/shower gel etc were provided. The breakfast was buffet style, with a wide variety of hot and cold food, with a chef making eggs to order.

friendly and helpful staff

Overall pleased with my stay. However, not too amused having the wedding right above rme on Saturday as well as having the newlyweds next to my room. Very loud!!! And no use of the pool and roof lounge then. Some customers obviously also did not respect the non-smoking rule. Even though the 10th floor was non-smoking, there was cigarette smell in my room. Mini-bar was well filled with a nice variety but not cold enough. The complimentary coffee and water were highly appreciated.The staff at the reception as well as in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. They definitely deserve a 'thumbs up'. As for the cleanng staff and staff who refills the mini-bar, they should be informed that, when a customer replies to the knock on the door with 'one minute' it does not mean come in but give me a minute before you enter.

Classy, stylish and central

We had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree Hilton. The staff were extremely helpful and we were greeted with warm chocolate chip chookies - which were very welcome after a long day's traveling. Our double-aspect room had windows overlooking Izmir bay and the city. Breakfast was a real treat. The hotel pool on the roof is a major asset and is open until 11:00 pm. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the waterfront. We loved our time here.

Nice hotel very well located. Rooms are very clean and spacious. There is very nice restaurant with a great view on the city. I was disappointed by the swimming pool that looks way bigger in the pictures. Also the prices of massages at the spa are excessively overpriced, considering the costs in Turkey.

War in Ordnung, Frühstück sehr gut und zu empfehlen. Eines der besten Frühstücks in der Türkei. Frisch und Lecker. Zimmer ok, aber manchmal wurde das aufräumen vergessen.

Schade das keiner deutsch spricht, alle waren sehr freundlich. Hamam war um vieles teurer als am Telefon zuvor vereinbart, dass fanden wir nicht o.k.

Der Name Hilton steht mit drin hat aber kein bischen abgefärbt. Lage schlecht, Bad schlecht zum Teil alles kaputt und einfach so widerlich das ich nicht duschen konnte. Ein Stern hätte es verdient mehr nicht.

Odamın küçük, basık ve yerlerin koyu halıflexle kaplı olması iç karartıcıydı. Ama oda temiz ve işlevseldi. Kahvaltı servisinin hızlı olmasının yanımda doyurucu ve lezzetli bir kahvaltı sunmaları hoşuma gitti.

Hotel trés bien placé et bien agencé. Parking appréciable. Seul point négatif : la piscine fermée en raison du Covid. Mauvaise surprise lorsqu'il fait 40°C. A cette période, la piscine était l'élément primordial qui m'avait fait choisir cet hotel. A aucun moment cette information n'a été communiquée même au check in...

Otelin ve odanın temizlik&düzeni çok güzeldi, çalışanların ilgi alakası süper ötesiydi. Tek olarak seyahatimde 1 gece kaldım ve çok memnun olarak ayrıldım. Tavsiye ederim.

Hayal kırıklığına uğradım. Odaya giriş yaptığımda , Banyodaki çöp kutusu doluydu. Yastıklarda kıllar vardı. Yüksek fiyata rağmen, hijyen yoktu. Zincir bir otele güvenemeyeceksek, bundan sonra işimiz çok zor.
