I had a great time in this place. The staff was amazing and very helpful, especially Khalil, and the young Kenyan man I'm sorry I cannot remember his name. Food was great. Room was great. My only complaints would be the noise of construction being done, no NETFLIX on either TV. Internet only on the TV in living area. Presidential Suite should at least have this. A few times I made some request from front desk, and I had to call multiple times to remind them, but I do understand that at the time, the staff was indeed very busy. They eventually did assist me. Other than that, I have no complaints. Ill indeed be visiting again in a few months. The place and the staff made me feel right at home. Very kind and very professional. I appreciate all of you.

Amazing

It was amazing. Everything went smoothly and I felt very confortable. Only downside was that sometimes after cleaning my room smeld like swet. But otherwise the cleaning and cleaners service was excellent.

Very relaxing hotel to stay. Clean and luxurious.

Staff was very attentive to our needs during breakfast if we wanted to order fresh crepes, french toast, pancakes or tea. Lots of options at breakfast and a 4 course meal for lunch/dinner, which was delicious. The rooms were very clean and when requested, we managed to get a family room. I would come back here again if I was visit Doha.

The staff were incredibly helpful in every way, no complaints there. The management are a little in some areas as is hotels.com. The picture on the booking site shows a beach and parasols. Nowhere near a beach. A shuttle bus at 10 and 11 am. My room had no bathrobe. I am gluten intolerant. Not catered for at all in the restaurant the bar.

Great Place to Stay in Old Town

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree in Old Town. It was extremely comfortable and the staff was amazingly attentive and helpful.

The room was lovely however the bathroom was not functional, it had low water pressure, and the cleanliness was not good. The service was generally very good other than breakfast which was absolutely appalling.

Excellent service, they were very accommodating to my needs and I was even able to have breakfast after waking up late. They made my stay very comforting and enjoyable as a solo women. I would definitely come stay here again. Location is also very convenient, really close to the airport and the National Museum.

DoubleTree by Hilton didn't disappoint. The hotel was quiet, the rooms were well-appointed and the staff were very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel was within walking distance of the National Museum and about a 10-15 minute walk to the metro station. I had a very pleasant 4 night stay and would recommend the hotel.

I arrived early in the day due to my flight and the desk manager was kind enough to find a room that was available before the formal check in time. I had been flying/layovers for around 30 hours, so this was greatly appreciated. And throughout my stay , the staff was always extremely friendly and most helpful. Much appreciated. And also, I found your breakfast to be excellent. Very healthy choices and everything fresh with great variety of choices. Very impressive.

Excellent 10 day stay at the DoubleTree, the hotel itself is nice and fresh - very clean, and room was great. Great breakfast with a lot of different options. The staff was superb, super helpful and kind. The people at the hotel really made it the best hotel experience ever.

The property and the staff were outstanding

The property is as clean. The breakfast did not have much choice and it was the same items on the menu every morning and not many options. The taste of the food in breakfast was not nice The lady at the reception who checked us in was very rude. Although we booked for 7 nights we were told we can only stay for 6 and had to book a hotel elsewhere for our final nights stay. Overall not much of a good experience i would not recommend this hotel for the price it cost. The pool was closed throughout out stay we were unable to use this. The nearest beach was 15 mins away. The hot tub was not clean at all. This hotel really does not live up to the doubletree hotel standards. Would not recommend at all and never booking again

It was not up to my expectations.

The hotel, in general, needs renovation for the lobby and reception, as they were never organized. When I first entered the hotel, I thought I was in the wrong place, especially with the café . The breakfast was very basic, with no wide selection of cheeses, olives, or other foods that should be included. As for the bedroom, it’s modern but small for my liking. Considering the price, I expected better furniture and design; it’s quite average in my opinion.

Well located hotel with great views. Restaurant lacked atmosphere and some of the food was served cold with first and second courses arriving at the same time. Great comfortable room and very good value for the price.

I booked this hotel for my husband’s birthday as he always wanted to visit Doha and he loved it. We checked in early and the hotel upgraded our room to a junior suite for a discounted price. On the night of my husband’s birthday, they provided a delicious birthday cake for my husband The staff were so attentive (special shout out to Naveen who took care of us every morning for breakfast). Breakfast was incredible with a variation of food options. We really appreciated the complimentary bottled water they’d leave for us in our room each day because the weather in Qatar is absolutely baking so it was a relief not having to worry about whether we’d be hydrated enough and have enough bottled water for a holiday My only gripe was that there isn’t washing powder provided with the suite that had a washing machine and there was quite a lot of back and forth about whether it was the hotel or maintainace that provided but in the end we ended up buying it ourself (which was cheap) All in all it was a lovely stay and it’s somewhere we would definitely come back again to

The breakfast in this hotel is good however the service staff in the dining area were not available and they served us cold tea and coffee. The reception and concierge staff are effective and helpful. The only thing that’s shocking about this hotel is the condiments put in the room and bathrooms. I had to call every 5 minutes for things like a shower cap , vanity kits etc. One would expect this as standard. In addition they have attached shampoos , lotion , conditioner and shower gels in these bottles on the walls. That was really weird when you had to use them. There are nuisance that made me wonder about their staff rating.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. It was in walking distance to the metro and many attractions. Room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. We would totally come back.

I spent 5 nights at the doubletree hotel, it’s a nicely decorated, peaceful and clean hotel. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. It’s in a good location, walking distance to the national museum and flag plaza, and short taxi ride to west bay. The pool was closed for renovation work, which was disappointing but otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was clean and nice but a small hotel. The breakfast was lovely. They served karak Chai every morning for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Overall we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend the hotel and would go back again.

Lovely spacious rooms, friendly staff, easy walking distance to the port and shopping areas, very clean. Although non-smoking rooms were requested one was not available but the room allocated did not smell of cigarette smoke and the staff did ensure we were happy to stay in that room. Breakfast were exceptional and well worth the additional cost.

I stayed for 13 nights overall great experience and most staff are welcoming and always ready to help. I would diffidently suggest and I will be will return in the future!

The hotel rooms and facilities were nice with modern decor. The staff looking after our room (Kamal) was very good and very aware of our needs and he replenished the supplies accordingly. The restaurant was always busy during breakfast and the staff struggled to cope at times. This resulted in having to wait around for a long time for orders. Overall, I’d give 9/10.

It’s a nice hotel with excellent services! Staff is kind and sensible.

Staff working on level 2 were great (Anna,Ismail and Ching). Special mention to Ismail who worked on level 2 dining, he was always so friendly and happy, and became a firm favourite with the kids. Showed genuine concern and acted so promptly when our daughter nearly choked!

The hotel is centrally located close to the National Museum, the corniche, and Islamic Museum of Art and Souq Waqif, which are major attractions in Doha. There is a metro station close by to go to farther places . The facility was very clean and well maintained. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and courteous. I really enjoyed my stay.

Had to get moved to three different rooms because of the non cleanliness. The rooms smelled and floors were dirty.

This is a good hotel but im surprised it is rated 5*. It is tired could do with some refurbishment especially in the pool/pure lounge area. Need to sort the tiles. Needs painting. Rooms are comfortable. Very clean but towels are not fluffy, curtains need washing and ironing. I expect that standrard for a 5*. Staff could not be improved on. They are so nice. Overa really enjoyed my stay but ... needs money spent on it to be worth the 5* price.
