The location is pretty good. I just didn’t like that there’s too many doors inside the room like a door in the washroom them cabinets against the washroom door and then another cabinet on the other side. I felt like the layout was off. But the balcony was very nice!!! It was facing the road and we had a great time during our Christmas Party! Foods were amazing!!!! *chef’s kisses*

Great location! Minutes from downtown and close to walking trails. Smells good and they have cookies at check in! Room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. Great workout facility. What more could you ask for?! My new favourite hotel in Calgary.

No hot water

Great service, but overall our room was disappointing (5th of 10 floors).only 1 of the 2 elevators were operational during our stay. There is no clock or alarm clock. The patio door does not seal and let a lot of cold air into the room. Additionally we did not have hot water during our stay. We ran the bathroom sink tap for 10 minutes without hot water and ran the shower for 5 minutes still with no hot water. While the bathroom looked nice. Without hot water it was totally not functional. Would not recommend.

had to run hot water into sink for a long time to get warm enough to shower . person going through garbage and astray outside front door after dark made a person feel unsafe in parking lot and the mess left behind still on walk outside front of hotel still there at 9:oo AM

The staff and the property was quite nice. The pool area was clean and warm. They had a decent happy hour. I did not particularly care for the food at the restaurant and neither did my family member, but the drinks were good. I also liked that they had airport transportation to and from the airport, but it did cost five dollars, which is better than an Uber ride. All in all had a great Stay. I would come again

Centrally located to everything we wanted to do, zoo, science center all kinds of shopping and food options within 3.5km. 24hr restaurant, and liquor store in the same parking lot. We were facing out the back so not much of a view considering the other side would have mountains and city, if we stay again I would request the south facing side. Bottom line, best all around experience I’ve had in years. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating for eco-friendly is because I really didn’t pay attention to that but they were spot on with everything else, so assumed it would be at least a 4. Pool was very cool with an uneven bottom and over 5’ at the deep end with hot tub and nice beach style chairs and tables made it very relaxing at the end of the day.

10/10 amazing staff and very immaculate

This hotel is usually our go to place to stay. Looking for a new alternative. At 2am, Dead asleep, Received a phone call from the front desk saying that they had a complaint that we were jumping up and down in our room. Very unhappy.

It was a great stay. We felt really comfortable and safe. We also enjoyed their welcome warm cookies 😍 How I wish they could make some more!!

Convenient as a stop on route to our destination. Beautiful looking property and could eat there without having to leave the hotel. Price was reasonable.

Other than Tolit sound, all services are excellent

The sound of the continue non-stop running water noice heard in the Tolit was annoying although the sound is not loud and after closing the Tolit door such minor sound would not be heard.

No surprises. Have stayed in the past and it has been consistent and pleasant. The only annoying thing was the air conditioning would not let the room get cool enough. I set it for 18 degrees centigrade and it would not go below 24 degrees.

Upon check-in I was offered an upgraded room (for a $25 fee) and accepted. I proceeded to the room which was still being tended to by cleaning staff. I returned to the front desk, explained the issue, and was instructed to return to my room in 15 minutes. I waited in the hotel's adjoining restaurant for 30 minutes before making my way to the room. Once reached, I could see that the cleaner(s) were still present. At this point, 45 minutes after my initial check-in, I returned to the front desk once more. The agent then contacted another cleaning staff overseeing my floor (by handheld radio) who appeared moments later. The front desk agent then proceeded to berate the cleaning staff right in front of myself and other guests which made for quite an uncomfortable moment. I was then instructed that the room was now ready for my arrival. I returned to the room and, in fact, the cleaning staff was STILL working in the room. The young man assured me he was finishing though he was hurriedly in and out several more times before I finally had the room to myself - over 60 minutes after my initial check-in time. Most surprisingly, nowhere along the way did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. Upon checkout the next morning, the front desk agent who had initially assigned me the upgraded room asked me how my stay was. I recounted the issues to actually get into the room and, while she expressed surprise, once again she offered no further assistance or apology. Very disappointing.

Extremely friendly staff with clean, spacious rooms. Location was also a convenient distance to the airport. The bar and dining on site was well above average. This was a pleasant surprise and perfect place for the price. And that’s not even considering the free, warm cookie provided upon arrival. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Rest from the Rodeo!

I was booked in for 2 rooms with my 2 cousins. We were meeting for the weekend mainly to aytrnd the Stampede. It was a convenient l9cation. Breakfast was good. Rooms comfortable but the AC wasn't easy to manage so it was a bit too cold. Enjoyed the free cookies!

Customer service is normal .

Was a lovely motel. Staff was very nice, especially the young man who checked us in. He was able to answer all out questions and tell us things to go do.

Finally got the famous cookies and they lived up to the hype. Too many smokers near the entrance but staff was friendly and accomodating to our pet.

Awesome stay

Everything was good except air conditioner didnit work right maintenance came and looked at it 3 times the third time the maintenance manager came a said it was running perfect and 18 was the lowest it goes which is fine but the room never got lower then 22.5 which was terrible made for bad sleeps. I asked the roo 2 down how there temp was and theres was 17 the whole time. The front desk lady the Saturday morning. Said if they couldn't fix it. They would move us rooms, but they only had ones with double queens which was fine with is So we left for the day came back and it still wasn't working. Then the manager of maintenance came and said it was fine, but I also know that there wasn't any rooms available. So it was in my eyes just trying to push off the fact it wasn't working correctly because they couldn't move us rooms anymore because they were full and again. I asked the people 2 doors down from us and their room was able to maintain 17°. But again ours couldn't get below 22 and a 1/2. Beautiful property, very nice staff just made for terrible nights.

Room was clean and served it’s purpose but wish we could try one of their famous cookies. Everytime we asked they were all out.

the room that we got smells like cigarettes and sewage went to the front to complain and it seems like the lady in the front desk is not happy that I'm complaining about it. They only sprayed air freshener in our room and when I went to the washroom in the lobby all of the stalls has poop on it.

Overall very pleased with my stay here. Only small issue was the area didn’t have many amenities, but downtown was a close Uber ride. Parking was also free, which is nice.

Room was very modern and clean. They never had the cookies at the front desk they promised though haha The breakfast restaurant was disappointing - we decided to order off the menu and the potatoes were very dry and bland and the service wasn't great

I absolutely loved my stay. I loved the fact that the rooms were more sound proofed and private than other hotels because I'm a night owl and dont want to disturb others or have my morning sleep disturbed by other early birds The only thing i was sad about was that there was no bath tub in my room and there was no spa at the hotel. But i still made the most of my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Understaffed - Any interaction with staff felt like an inconvenience and the poor cleaning and restaurant staff was obviously having trouble keeping up. Surrounded by highway and not very walkable. (We ate mostly at Denny's next door. The staff there was fabulous and surprised by the quality of the food.)

Helpful friendly staff, nice and clean hotel.

The hotel is clean and staff are super friendly. I forgot a couple items in my room and was able to retrieve them a few days later; I’m very thankful for the housekeeping staff for that!

Think twice before booking

Booked 2 rooms for family, put us in different floors. Rooms not soundproof and hallway noise interrupted sleep. 1 room next to security door which buzzed every 5 minutes till 2am due to event at hotel. Other room next to ice maker which had a lot of traffic early and late. Desk staff unhelpful or uninformed. Airport shuttle was not available and no information on why or compensation for $60 Uber cost we weren’t planning on spending.

Lobby was gorgeous. Room was clean and spacious. Had outlets for everyone (family of 4) which is surprisingly hard to come by! Zoo was less than 10 minutes away. Staff was super nice!

The room was clean and a great ambience

Third party reservations and rates were passed seamlessly at check in. Lobby fresh and clean and staff on point. Rooms are new feel and fresh with all expected amenities. Many restaurants and conveniences within walking distance of .5 miles or less. Would stay everytime in the area.

The staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Easy acess to major roadways and bus transit if you choose to use it.

Return after 25 years

I stayed here for 18 Months whilst on business 25 years ago but was called the CrossRoads Motel back then And it’s a big improvement it,s a pity the cowboy bar had closed down at the back of the hotel as that was a great venue

This is gonna sound weird but i liked that they werent a super green facility. I liked that the air conditioning worked and didnt stop if there was no movement. So you didnt wake up sweating because the sensor didnt sense movement. And the sheets were very soft. Weve all had rooms with scratchy sheets so you know what i mean. I fully plan to stay here again.
