We really enjoyed our stay at Doubletree By Hilton. The staff were excellent. The spa was fabulous. We got a facial and hair spa and it was fantastic. Special shoutout to Sourav. He made our stay absolutely worth it. He ensured our needs were taken care of and made us feel valuable guests of the hotel. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Snipla at the reception was exceptional and so helpful. Had a nice chat time with Acharya. Lovely place highly recommended

Hotel was ok, coming areas are nice, but rooms are a bit tired and weren’t very clean. Pool is under refurbishment, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Breakfast was just average. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times though.

Staff couldn’t of been any better excellent at everything

It was very clean. The room was big and we liked the bar area.

Being a Hilton property, I found the hotel and the room especially extremely outdated and dirty. Our toilet smelled and the room was damp, including the bed and bedsheets. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Overall I would not return due to the cleanliness.

Well kept

Great place but no one delivers food here. Otherwise its a great property and the breakfast was really great. It was our anniversary and these guys made it super special.

Well meaning staff but either overworked or mistreated by management and/or customers. Western leaning customer constituents, and inadequately localized. Food very subpar, service was objectively poor. Management made a strong attempt to make up for it but there are systemic issues that will take along time and investment, likely procedural changes, training, attention to detail. Currently I would rate this hotel as a 4-star at most.

Overnight stay in Agra

This is a good hotel for foreign tourists. The property appears to be new and is well kept. We stayed one night and had dinner and breakfast buffets included in our tariff. Food was great in both cases. I did feel like the service was on a learning curve but they make a good effort. Only issue I had was that they gave us a room below where construction was happening and we had to let them know several times to have them stop it until it finally stopped.

Very clean and modern hotel. Rooms were spacious and the breakfast had a wide selection to choose from.

I would of liked to have rated our stay better because the staff were nice and the hotel is nice but the housekeeping did a really poor job cleaning or not cleaning our room and leaving it completely unlocked for the whole day once they were finished. We were shocked and worried upon trying to open our door after a long day of touring to see it open. We left our luggages open on the floor with stuff completely hanging out and were very uneasy to know the room was left open. The manager did check the cameras as per our request to see if anyone had entered the room after the housekeeping left, and he did report that noone had entered but still the feeling left us very uneasy. For that reason and poor housekeeping we feel our stay was not so good. Aside from that, the room and bathroom were spacious, beds comfortable, breakfast and service good. We ate out at the restaurant one night and food was also good.

Beautiful property friendly staff

Doesn't deserve to be a Hilton property. Untrained staff who are not fit for hospitality industry. We were made to kept awake for 45 minutes in the midnight for their bathroom door lock problem. Linens were dirty and disgusting.

The hotel is close to the airport with complementary 24 hrs service to the airport. The restaurant have one of the best food in India. The hotel overall was clean, well maintained and decorated. My only complain is that there were some mol spots in the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel!

This has been the best experience for myself and my friends. The staff are the best in the world. Friendly and attentive from start to finish. Akash at the front desk has been more than exceptional. We will not only remember the Taj Mahal but the hospitality from the staff at the double tree, Namaste

OK but wouldn’t recommend

It’s a big hotel that had a lot of events on during our stay. Very busy at breakfast- on our last morning we had to sit in a cold bar as restaurant was full. Rooms comfortable enough but rest of hotel freezing cold during our January stay - most guests are dinner in coats and hats! Check out delayed by errors in the bill.

Nice hotel but consider eating elsewhere

Nice hotel with nice facilities but the worst buffet dinner I had in a month of staying in India. Limited options. Very average. Otherwise nice room and comfortable stay.

Check in with Esha was excellent. She is truly a top notch professional. Abhishek at the breakfast buffet works at warp speed. Lobby is nicely done. Rooms are very comfortable and washrooms are excellent. Water temperature and pressure in the shower is excellent. We did see one or two small cockroaches. Also, there hotel lobby and the floor hallways could have better ventilation. Curtains could be better as well. Gym was great. In room dining service was good. Breakfast buffet is good - but not great.

The Double Tree Hilton Agra provides all of the features one would normally associate with this brand. Akanksha at front of house arrange two tours and we had a first rate guide for both of them. Vishnu’s warm greeting each time we entered made it feel like coming into a warm and friendly home. Very happy to have chosen this for our first night in India.

The night we checked into the room there were dishes on the hallway and the next day they were still there. The front look beautiful and clean but once you left that area is a different story.

Very comfortable stay. Good location to find restaurants and street foods. Several minutes to the Taj mahal and Agra Fort.

This is a nice hotel with somewhat old decoration in the room. It was clean, except for the carpets in the corridors, which looked old and dirty. It has a nice pool and a nice view at Taj Mahal (from far away though). I had mixed experience at the hotel restaurant. In the evening, the Indian food was excellent. However in the morning, after lengthy waiting (40 mins) I got uncooked tandori dishes: paneer still full of water inside and chicken tikka with pink uncooked meet inside. Indian beer was not available this evening, and I could not order Margarita because the hotel run out of tequila. Three small beers and two Indian side dishes in the evening were 50 USD. One whisky sour and two Indian side dishes were 35 USD in the morning. The hotel booking without food was 68 USD. I believe that a restaurant that charges so high should be of really good quality. I was disappointed.

Excellent service!

Does not deserve 5 star rating in any capacity. First got a room with a broken air conditioner. Then a room with a broken exhaust. Then the water kettle was broken. The room is quite dirty. Then ordered a cup of tea and toast. It was 500 rupees and was delivered without a knife. When asked for knife it wasn’t delivered for 20 mins by which time both tea and toast were ice cold. Zero apologies, and nothing was done to make it right. Just appalled by the service and the attitude of the staff. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very nice place to stay if visiting Taj Mahal. Dining options are excellent. Staff is very helpful and polite.

The management staff, especially the front desk assistant manager Amit, were awful. They were unaccommodating, rude, arrogant, unhelpful, and misogynistic. The rooms were just okay - shower didn’t drain, you can’t actually watch anything on the TV, etc.. The breakfast buffet was decent and the staff there were good. Overall, it was so shocking to be treated so poorly that I will never stay in a Hilton ever again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, and it was a truly memorable experience. The luxurious accommodations and exceptional service made my stay nothing short of perfect. The hotel is conveniently located just two kilometres from the Taj Mahal, which can be seen from the hotel at a distance. However, what made our stay stand out was the attentive and courteous staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. From the moment we arrived at the gate to our check-out, every touchpoint was well-rounded, from the front office to the food and beverage and engineering departments. We especially enjoyed the dinner and breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of delicious cuisine. The staff was wonderful, and the hotel was well-maintained. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled. I must credit the management for creating such a professional work culture that gives the staff autonomy to make the necessary decisions to make guests comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Agra for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable hotel experience.

My experience at this hotel was horrible. A tupperware company paid them to use one of their halls for a venue and this group blasted noise so loud all night. When I approached the front desk, the lady lied that they had no other rooms available to transfer away from the noise. After going back up to the room and again hearing the super loud noise and base, I went down again to complain. This is where I asked for management. They said they'll move rooms and to call 0 when I'm packed. I said I've tried calling 0 many times before already tonight and that no one was answering. They said that should now be fixed. Huge red flag. THEY WERE IGNORING THEIR GUESTS because of the loud music that was coming from the venue. I will never go to this hotel again. For the management reading this review, here is a pro tip: don't be in the venue business and also hotel business where you serve guests rooms for people wanting to you know, like sleep at night.

Beautiful property , amazing staff , delicious food . Overall great service

Gorgeous Staff very friendly and welcoming

One of the most beautiful places we have had an opportunity to stay at. As you walk in, they have the scent just perfectly tuned for a fresh feel. The music and ambience pulls you in and makes you want to stay here every night. As beautiful as this Hotel is, it is equally astounding with the hospitality of the staff. Not a single person acted snobbish and instead were as humble as those welcoming guests into their own home. There were many who I wish I can name for their excellence in customer service and simple human kindness, but unfortunately I only can recall one name who is Preetam S. She was wonderful in every possible way to our family. An incredible person who is beautiful on the outside and in with generosity I wish all people had. We thank her, all the wonderful staff, and this beautiful Hotel for a wonderful stay. By the way, for all visitors, this place is located a really close distance for a visit to the Taj Mahal. Absolutely recommended!

Very close to the Taj Mahal. It was like $1.50 USD Uber ride to it. Wonderful staff. The 2 bellboys who were deaf were so kind and helpful. I really enjoyed staying at a hotel that includes all people. Great room and breakfast. Will definitely stay here again when coming to Agra.

Great staff and food but room let it down

The staff and food were excellent but although the room was large and comfortable it was a bit dated and could have been cleaner. We discovered several large stains on the mattress topper clearly visible through the sheets. It was too late (and we were very tired) to complain and although I’m sure it would have been rectified if we had, it should not have occurred in the 1st place. I’d love to score higher for the staff and food alone but have to base my review on the whole experience.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. It was so helpful for the hotel concierge to arrange transportation for us.

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by Sonal at reception. She was friendly and courteous and made checking in very easy and was so welcoming. Sonal escorted us to our room and explained how everything worked and when we had difficulty connecting a phone to the WiFi sent someone to take care of this. Her service was above and beyond what we had expected. We were a little late for check out and Sonal graciously did not add a fee for this. It was more than a pleasure staying at this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be staying in Agra. If and when I return to Agra, I would definately stay here again. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at this hotel!

Price is good for the over all experience. Surprisingly my booking was not confirmed in spite of me calling them and checking the same. Had to wait 30mins for the check in because of this issue.

The Doubletree was amazing! The moment you enter the lobby you are overcome by the beauty of the high ceiling and well furnished facility. The breakfast was awesome and the staff very accomodating. Would highly recommend for couples, families and single travelers. You will be wow'd by all the amenities including the room. Wow,WOw,Wow!

If you visit Agra, stay HERE! It is worth every penny above the average cheap hotel/motel/whatever. In a city that is dirty, messy, and where literally everyone is out to get you and squeeze you for money at every turn, staying at an international chain with standard amenities was a boon! You'll sleep well, the staff is amazing, the food is great, the ambience is wonderful. We had no complaints.

Good hotel, quiet location, good food (v nice dinner buffet). Attentive and polite staff. One issue was fire alarm going off at 7am due to member of staff having too hot a shower. Had to leave our rooms.

Lobby was uncomfortable and cold !

The lobby was too cold and so was the restaurant.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The hotel was calm and cozy. The food was good. However, the best thing about this hotel was it’s staff. They were very attentive. We particularly liked our driver, Mahesh. He drive us for four days for sightseeing, airport pickup and drop. We found traffic to be very challenging but Mahesh drove the car very carefully. Five stars!

Wish we could have stayed longer

Only spent one night after visiting the Taj Mahal. Very nice hotel. We were traveling with a large group. They accommodated us with an early breakfast, good service and good selection. Did not have time to try either of the pools.
