The room is small, but the property’s amenities make up for it and it’s clean. They have Onsens, free noodles and ice cream at night, probiotic drinks in the morning. Close to a train station. Staff are kind and helpful.

The facilities were superb! We enjoyed the onsen and massage chairs very much! We also had chances to try the free noodles and popsicles at night. They tasted really good! The drink bar was also great. We could get hot water there which was so important in this cold winter. Location was fair. It was within walkable distance to an Osaka Metro station or a 20 min bus trip to the closest JR station. There were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores around and there's a supermarket in a nearby mall. The double room was spacious. We could open a big luggage and a small luggage completely inside the room and still had sitting and walking space. The two mini sofas were highly appreciated as we always don't want to sit on bed before our bodies are washed. The bed was on the hard side. For people who are lightweight, sleep quality may be sub optimal but not bad.

Grocery stores in Kitahama Sq and LIFE Tenjinbashi are near by. Hotel is right next to Sakaisuji Line. The hotel seems to cater more towards Asian clientele. The free amenities were fantastic.

Very nice!

We loved Dormy!!! But BEWARE of the super hard king bed mattress!! My wife and I stayed in a dormy back 7 years ago in Tokyo and came back with our daughter in sort of a "pilgrimage" to this cute hotel chain. The room was clean, the amenities including the onesen, relaxation area and breakfast were amazing! BUT the mattress in the king room was a brand called airweave and was truly so incredibly hard we could not sleep- like my entire body ached and my hands fell asleep it was so hard. At 2 AM I went down and tried to get us in another room but it was all booked up. The beds in the non-king rooms are normal and more comfortable. The staff was great and let us cancel and I appreciated that. We ended up moving to another hotel because even though everything else about Dormy is great, at its core, a hotel room is for sleeping and we were not able to...so we left, but with a heavy heart.

This felt like a very Japanese experience to me. Lots of interesting stuff come as part of your stay - access to the onsen, freebies… The area was kind of sterile, it was the/a business district. Convenient for Shin-Osaka.

We loved this place. This other was totally designed for travelers. Each amenity was carefully thought and created for the guest comfort. Yakult in the morning, ramen at night, onsen either in the morning or at night after long walks. Laundry room next to the onsen so that you can use it while relaxing. And if it was not enough, they have massage chairs. We really enjoyed our stay there and there was no other hotel in all our trip with the same service and amenities as this one! Totally recommended!!

Like being in a canyon

Our room was on a lower floor with another building just feet away. Needed to use artificial light day and night. Otherwise hotel is very nice.

The hot springs facility is good & clean. The complimentary soup udon and ice lollies are of good quality, the hotel is very generous. The breakfast is very good & has wide variety of choice also.

Great hotel with nice onsen on top floor. Good breakfast range and a few freebies included at various times of the day. Only issue we had was the pillows - very low, however staff provided us with another set that were higher. Would stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Dormy Inn in Kitahama, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, and the prices were very affordable. The location is super convenient, with easy access to both the Yodoyabashi Line and Kitahama Station, making it perfect for getting around Osaka. One of the highlights was the spa – it was a great way to relax after a day of exploring. And the free noodles after 9 PM were a tasty delight! This hotel offers all the amenities of a five-star hotel at a fraction of the cost. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Osaka!

Good onzen, room nice and free ramen at night. The library at the cool zone is really a plus. I was really disappointed with the staff that is not understanding a word of englis.

Nice quiet hotel. It would be nice if Dormy hotel onsen would have a cold plunge bath for women equal to the one available to men.

We stay just for a few nights, and wasn’t that hard to get to the main attractions. Lots of little pleasant surprises in the hotel, like the massages chairs on the 13th floor

Conveniently located near Kitahama station, the hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Room size was adequate for 2 adults, the bath area on the top floor was excellent. Will stay here again if we come back to Osaka.

I have stayed in other Dormy Inns and this is probably my favorite. Loved their hot spring and the complimentary noodles for dinner. Not really much action in the area but the train station is 1 minute walk from the hotel and you can go anywhere in Osaka very easily. Exceptional hotel and stay, loved it.

The hotel is clean and the onsen is fantastic! Also very good price.

A little bit dated compared with other modern hotels but there is a good room size and hot spring baths with laundromat and other facilities available for guests

Overall an excellent stay and i loved their breakfear(pay) and late night ramen(free). The 7eleven is one block away and the metro 2 blocks. I only had 2 real complaints. One i didnt realize that the on sight hot springs was a no tatoo one (expedia page doesnt mention and it didnt occur to me at booking it could be an issue). Two the bed and pillows were extra firm to the point of me buying my own pillow and sleeping on covers to rest. I didnt expecty comfort matress but that the worst bed in dozens of motels, hotels and b&b vacations ive ever experienced.

Clean and well kept hotel. Like the additional touch like free beverage from 3pm and the supper of a bowl of noodles.

When I checked in there were hairs on my bedsheets. I called the front desk and they had a hard time understanding at first, but eventually sent up new sheets and pillow cases. I had to change them myself. My bath robe was also too small, I left a written note in my room and they gave me larger robes when I returned, so that was nice. There are two massage chairs but one is broken and the other is always occupied, maybe unless you go in the middle of the day. The area it's located seems to be a financial district with not much going on.

Pretty good hotel with some of the largest rooms I've seen for the price. Room did have a slight musky smell and changing room for the men's hot spring smelled very strongly of sour feet. Laundry facilities were nice. Good amenities. Location is very quiet. Overall a pretty good stay.

Overall is good, Dormy inn is our favorite chained hotel group. Staff is a bit cool this time, maybe the overwhelming tourist visit.

Nice accommodation with hot spring and sauna. Breakfast is already included in the room charge and is surprisingly delicious. Location is very close to the metro station.

We enjoyed our 4-night's stay in this three-star rated hotel recently. The facility is modest but excellently maintained. The service was also excellent. We liked the natural hot bath, sauna and free ramen party at night. Adding a few fitness machines would satisfy my desire.

Great hotel. Provide popsicles at night after the hot springs. Late night ramen as well. The room are on the smaller side, but not a big deal.

Service at hotel was amazing. Soba, drinks and ice cream service is a massive plus. Hot springs are well maintained, clean and well spaced out. Will definitely be staying again.

Overall excellent stay. We loved the ramen in the evenings! The pillows are very thin though which is the only real complaint however we were able to get extra pillows to help with this.

Rooms are pretty small, but this is Japan. The people are friendly. enjoy your stay.

Overall decent hotel. Pillows are extremely hard, normal for Japan but hard to adapt! Spa was nice but always very busy. Note not tattoo friendly. Lots of free amenities including ice pops, yogurt and ramen during certain times of the day. House keeping available for a fee. Transit is nearby; however, it is about 8-10 minutes walk to the main line. Area is quiet, a few places to eat but mostly large corporations. Would recommend a different area if your visiting Osaka for tourism.

部屋はきれいに掃除されていて、気持ちよく過ごすことができました。ただ少しだけシーツの汚れがあったのが、残念でした。気にはなりませんでしたが。施設も新しく、よかったです。また、温泉も最高で気持ちよかったです。風呂上がりのアイスと乳酸菌が何とも嬉しいかったです。

離車站近 附近有7-11 lawson 車站還有fresco ， 飯店可以泡湯，還有免費拉麵和冰棒可以吃，小朋友住的很開心

the hotel is close to all amenities. However, staff are not very helpful and they don't speak English so there's problem in communicating.

Everything at the hotel was superb, except for one issue happen on Saturday, my Japanese friend came to visit me around noon, within 2 minutes of sitting down, front desk called and demand more money, because my room is for one person, some how a friend visiting for a few hours is breaking the rules, I tried to explain that my friend is just visiting, not staying, but staff's English skill is minimal, I ran out of patience and told them it is fine, whatever they want to charge. My friend left around 5pm after drinking sake and talking with me. I dont mind paying more if thats rules, but the staff come off as greedy and disrespectful, that will stay with me for a long time and impact my decision for hotel on my next visit.

Stayed here for 5 nights! Very nice hotel. Very close to subway station. I love Onsen on top floor with Laundry machine on the same floor. I love the details in each room, especially the bathroom and sink are separate. The light next to my bed is very nice too! Would recommend !

My room did not have a microwave which would have been nice to have. My friends and I were not allowed in the hot springs, which we didn't know until we got there. We only stayed one night.

Comfortable hotel in a quieter district but very close to a subway station. Loved the massage chairs and the ambience of the environment. Very friendly and helpful staff. The complimentary ramen in the evening was a plus!

Onsen and massage chairs on top floor were very nice after long days of walking around and sightseeing. Room was a little unusual with toilet, sink and shower all being in separate areas, but good space for the price. Would recommend.

Only is breakfast choices not much as at kyoto Dormy Inn, but the hotel room is bigger than kyoto, for breakfast need to improve.

I have a pleasant stay in dormy inn. It was very new and clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Impressed by the free drink and ramen at night. Love the hotspring at the top floor

Good location, within 1 min walk from Kitahama Metro station. Provides free beer and some alcoholic drinks in the evening, and even free noodles in the late evening. Near midnight, you may even ask for instant noodles from the front desk. Hot springs available on the top floor till 10am every day (go at night!). Room was sufficiently large for two, and a sliding door separates the washroom and sleeping space so light from the washroom can be shut out if necessary.

The hotel is very new. Steps to Kitahama subway station and Fresco. Free drinks and ramen every night. Onsen is good too. Friendly staffs and good service. The room is a bit small but still decent comparing to other hotels. We will recommend to friends who will go to Osaka.

The property is very clean. Excellent customer service. We had an early arrival, the hotel has luggage storage service and our luggage was put in our room when we checked in later in the evening. There are freebies like free alcohol and ramen for night snack. It is very close to the subway station. Restaurants and convenience stores close by.

Onsen was awesome

The onsen was awesome. We really liked the amenities with the hotel. The only thing is that the bed was more the traditional Japanese style which is firm; good for back sleepers but not so good for side sleepers.

First family trip to Japan!

Stay was comfy....beds were a bit firm...but the room was clean...any interaction with front desk was pleasant and friendly and it was super close to 7-11! Perfect for a stat on Osaka!!

My fave local Japanese Hotel chain

One of my favourite small scale hotels in Japan - the rooftop onsen/spa is always enjoyable. I love the free supper after 8pm as well.....ramen, pizza and even whisky/wine. Room is always clean and tidy and service at the hotel is always excellent. This time, my location is slightly off the tourist trail.....but with the subway just a 5 minutes walk away.....it wasn't a major bother.

It's good and special that this place has natual hot spring. Very relaxing. It's rewarding after a long day of work or walk. One thing to be noted for other travellers is the location. Close enough to public transit pending what type of transit/lines you plan to take. Some public transit stations may be further than expected.

Enjoyed my stay

Seems pretty new as of Apr 2019 because they were offering free food and drinks during their evening restaurant service. Room was moderate sized and compartmentalized. Nice bathroom with plenty of amenities. Bed was firm. Bedding was nice with a comforter on top that was light but warm. The hot spring and bath facility was great with 4 different types of pools/rooms (men’s side). Staff was prompt. Location was good as it was close to Kitahama subway station as well as restaurants and convenient stores. It was worth the price if you take advantage of the hotel offerings.

Good location (close to Kitahama station which gets you to alot of main tourist sites). Quiet environment (but not busy if you prefer being in the centre of action). New hotel so modern rooms.

Your average business hotel

When we checked in, the staff didn’t remind us that breakfast ends at 9:30am, so we missed it because we assumed it was at 10am like the three other hotels that we stayed at before our arrival here.

A good hotel to stay again in Osaka

Overall it is a good hotel for stay in Osaka. Value for money. Good location, about a few mins to subway, and it is quite quiet as well. We enjoyed the facilities in the hotel, especially the hot pool. The staffs are friendly and helpful. We will be back to this hotel if going to Osaka again.

숙소 컨디션도 아주 좋았고, 13층 대욕탕이랑 서비스로 나오는 라면도 수준급이었어요. 그리고 호텔 주변에 관광객이 적어 의외의 맛집들이 정말 많아서 오히려 중심가에서 여행한 것 보다 좋았음

符合飯店固有品質，早餐有美味牛排是這間特色。但連續住了三晚房間垃圾都無人清掃

スタッフ対応も施設もよかった。 一つきになったのが13階の浴場でスリッパを脱ぐ所の段差につまずいたので斜めにできるやつを取り付ければいいかと。

初めて利用させていただきましたが、サービスの良さに大満足な宿泊となりました。温泉の利用時間も長く、ホテルに戻る時間が遅くても夜間も入浴できて嬉しかったです。朝食ビュッフェのクオリティも高く品数も多彩でオープンキッチンで調理した出来立てを提供してくれたら料理もあり、ついつい食べすぎてしまいました。また利用したいです。

ウェブサイト上に駐車場の案内がなかったことは不備かな

チェックイン前から荷物も預かってくれ、とても丁寧に対応してくれました。 朝ごはんも朝からお肉を食べられとても美味しかったです。 値段もリーズナブルで大阪に行った際には、また利用させて頂きます。

너무 만족스러웠습니다. 일단 9월 오사카 너무 더워서 돌아다니고 들어왔을때 온몸이 녹초가 되었는데 피로를 풀수있는 온천욕탕이 너무 깨끗하고 무료제공되는 아이스크림도 그냥 싸구려가 아닌 허쉬로 너무 맛있었고 휴게실 안마의자도 너무 시원하고... 밤에 제공되는 라멘에 조식도 훌륭해서 매일 2만보이상씩 돌아다녔는데도 살이 안빠졌네요. 위치도 난바나 우메다에서 좀 떨어져있지만 지하철역 바로여서 블편함 없었고 게이한노선이 바로여서 저희같이 교토 당일치기 하기에는 너무 좋은 곳이었습니다. 지하철역과 연결된 기타하마플라자 지하 슈퍼마켓에서 저녁에 도시락50프로 할인해서 그것도 좋았고 도보5분거리에 라이프 스토어도 있습니다. 직원분들도 한국어 되시는 분이 두분이 교대로 계시는거 같아 좋았네요.
