Great accommodation, great service with some free services given to the guests and great location.
Love the onsen, availability of kids amenities, free ice cream and ramen.
Best hotel chain in Japan. Equipped with sauna and onsen which makes the stay even better! Be careful with the buffet as it will likely fill you up for the rest of your day, making it impossible to enjoy the great food Japan has to offer. Very convenient walk to Tokyo Metro (subway) and JR Line stations.
Can't go wrong with Dormy Inn
Can't go wrong with Dormy Inn. We loved the onsen, free drinks and late night noodle. Location is connivence, it's close to different JR or subway lines.
Good location.
Great location. Right on top of a Ginza line exit. 7/11 right downstairs. Breakfast serves great tempura!
Wonderful
The room was very cozy and clean despite it being tiny everything was organized. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was another plus, it’s only within 10 mins walk from Akihabara and the subway stations, however the surroundings were pretty quiet. Will definitely come back
It was clean and near to stations and shopping malls. The staff are friendly and polite. The onsen gets crowded and they have a system to monitor the capacity. The price is the highest amongst the Dormy Inns.
Just beside kanda station, on the Ginza line, so access to Shibuya, Ginza area was really easy. The hotel room was decently sized, and it’s a real treat that we get onsen, ramen and cold ice cream every day if you would like. Walkable distance to akihabara- 5mins away. Will definitely recommend this hotel!
Have a great stay here!! Everything is good!!!
Excellent staff!
This good 👍 clean and safe will be back
They accepted me and were extremely friendly. Couldn’t ask for better service
We love Dormy Inns...especially Premiums. The breakfast is always a great way to start the day...and was excellent at the Kanda location. The nearby train was loud, but also kind of soothing. No problems sleeping. Staff was great. Onsen was great. Location was great.
A bit far away from JR, but the service and accommodations are top notch.
The room was clean and adequate. The public bath was excellent. It was convenient to have Seven Eleven next door. The JR station and subway station were within a few minutes' walk. I loved the breakfast.
Excellent
Excellent hotel and service. Love the public bath ☺️
This hotel was perfect for a Tokyo stopover. The staff were really helpful with everything. This hotel is exceptional value. The hotel rooms are great and the onsen a bonus. Didn’t get to see much of Kanda, I sense it’s a place you are going to other places from….as well as Yamanote line it has a couple of other metros that traverse Tokyo so pretty convenient.
Very convenient location near Akihabara. Easy access to Tokyo Metro and JR. There are a few convenient stores around if you look. Wish there was a supermarket near by.
I would absolutely stay again! Location is a short walk from the Akihabara core, 24h 711 in the same building for late night snacks, delicious restaurants and a killer burger place across the street and supee close to the train stations. I loved the amenities, onsen was super relaxing although i didnt have a chance to try their free ramen from 9:30pm-11pm. Service was also great, I had an issue with my first room and they handled it immediately which I deeply appreciated. Would highly recommend
Nice breakfast and snacks during night time.
What would have been an amazing accommodations was spoiled by the world’s hardest and most uncomfortable bed. 4 pillows should also become a standard, and upgrade those as well. They were flat and uncomfortable. I would also suggest revising the tattoo policy, allowing for waterproof covers to be used. Finally, Parking 🅿️ was very, very expressive at 5000 yen per night. I suggest reducing that price to 3000 yen as well.
The staff are very helpful
Many great services in addition to the stay. They have a sauna and hot baths, free ramen at night, free snacks, optional breakfast, easy check in/out. One of the best hotels i have stayed at.
Stayed in a Queen room for our second two nights. Much more space. Great for our last two nights in Tokyo. Convenient to the electric town. Great staff. Very good experience overall
Liked the rooms and the spa. Great for travellers. Ended up booking another two nights.
Service was very good. Location was very close to Akihabara and train stations. Cleanliness would rate as 9 out of 10.
Super clean and place nearly by the subway station.
Very good
oncen
Very convenient location, right next to Kanda station exit 6.
I am a frequent customer at Dormy Inn Hotels including the Kanda one. My only reservation this time was the location of the room. I’d say try to avoid staying on any floor with room number ending 16. It faces into the armpit of the building with the only view being machinery like aircon outlets very close by and it was very dark, no view of other buildings or anything. The rooms with number ending 16 are single occupancy rooms with semi double bed. Room itself was OK if small but dingy because there was little sunlight from the window
For those that like the onsen, great outdoor rotenburo. The hotel night snack is also a nice addition, free hot ramen or ice-cream are free and delicious. It a very safe hotel, monitored in all corridors and floor-locked. It is conveniently close to Kanda station in a 4-5 minute walk . Will be our choice again when going to Tokyo
Good stay
The property was an excellent location and very clean. The only downside was the bed was incredibly hard. I expected the communication in English to be easier based on the website and a phone call I made. Everyone was helpful, I just was surprised the English wasn't better. I am visiting their country and it is my responsibility to be able to communicate with them, just surprised.
I love the free washing machine and affordable dryer service. The breakfast and free soba are really nice.
This is my default stay in Tokyo, have been stayed here for a few times already. It is so convenient that just 5 minutes walk from Akihabara and 10 minutes train from Tokyo station
Location is great
good
I tripped on the way to the hotel, but kindly the staff gave me bandaids. The staff constantly cleans the onsen. The room is very cozy and comfortable.
Amazing
I tend to choose Dormy inn in any place as long as it exist. I like its public bath.
Amazing hotel for its price with sauna and hot spring! Very convenient location close to Tokyo and Nihombashi. Super nice staff and clean facility. I’d stay here again, for sure!
Great hotel with onsen onsite to relieve all the tireness from the walking in the day. Breakfast is delicious too, love their tempura and also the ramen for supper. Room is not big, but just nice and comfortable for our family of 2A2C.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The Spa was good.
Nice simple, affordable hotel.
Best breakfast
Very good stay. Convenient, professional staff. Bath was great. Free ramen.
Dormy Inn is always the best for my Japan travel!
Perfect stay
Perfect stay in Tokyo. c great location and everything maintained well Free ramen at night and public bath
The spa is good!
Large public bath area that is clean and easy to use on the top floor. Very convenient with many convenience stores close by, Kanda station exit 1 min away. Akihabara area is 5 min walk. Children are welcome at the baths, free ice bar after bath. Free ramen nightly.
Excellent service…hotel has an onsen and serves complimentary ramen at night.
Hot spring available at one of the Tokyo hub, a few minutes to Akihabara and 30~40 minutes away from Haneda Airport
Free sauna & hot spring…. Very good!
The room is very small, but we can enjoy free sauna and Hot spring on the top floor! Very relax! Not bad!
The free soba every night was enjoyable as a night snack. The view from the hotel was fantastic as well as the location was ideal for exploring all of tokyo.
Great location, great “big bath”, great staff. Very clean.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Spa area was also clean.
Value for money, breakfast and hot spring are good. Location of the hotel is close to the JR Station.
Convenient and relatively spacious double room. 5-8 min walk from from JR Kanda station (north exit) being one stop from Tokyo station.
Convenient, clean, good service. Will definitely choose Dormy Inn if I come back to Japan again
I like hot spring, sauna, breakfast and free noodle at night. I like shower room, toilet, wash basin which are separate and clean.
Convenient and comfortable
We’ve stayed in this hotel many times because of its excellent conditions and comfort. It’s still a good hotel but not as clean as usual. The public bath that used to be spotlessly clean became messy with wet floor and counters. Staff was inexperienced and not as helpful this time.
Great stay in Tokyo!
Dormy Inn Kanda was our first hotel for our 3-week long vacation in Asia. It's a great hotel with a nice onsen, free laundry and an awesome breakfast buffet. They even provided my daughter with her own pajamas :) We stayed in 3 Dormy Inns during our trip and this one was our favorite. The only thing that bothered us was the "rock hard" beds and pillows.
Good sauna & onsen
The hotel is in a great location close to Kanda Station and within 5 minutes walk of Akihabara and with great transport connections. The room was small, in comparison to others we had stayed in during our trip, but clean. There were some good amenities- a complimentary drink per person of beer or juice in the 12th floor bar area in the evening, and complimentary late night ramen on offer in the 2nd floor restaurant area. There is also an onsen on the 12th floor but we didn’t make it there. The staff were efficient and offered smaller sized lounge clothing for the children.
Excellent location near Akihabara station and stores. Great breakfast ( just not US style).
Staying at the Dormy Inn was a very pleasant, relaxing experience. I loved their Onsen facility and the room was spacious and very comfortable.
Great location, spa, free ramen, not cramped
Really nice hotel. Fantastic location next to train lines and the akihabara district. Rooms were decent sized for tokyo and the shower was spacious and clean. Had a nice sauna/spa you could go to and free ramen at night. Would definitely recommend.
awesome
Whaaaaa?? Free bowl of amazing ramen for din er everynight. It hit the spot even though was 90 out. Didnt get the free beer cuz always back too late. Staff super nice / helpful / called me taxi for Tokyo station. I will now only stay at hotels with onsen!! It was great!!I usually stay in Hilton Shinjuku but opted for this instead....not disappointed! Kanda is nice...quiet. close to Meiji University that had a good museum and i also went to Nezu Shrine in the area. Fairly easy to get to.... Theres a station entrance downstairs however its for the ginza line so almost always youll have to transfer
Very nice hotel and close to train station. Very convenient to get around. Nice public bath. Good breakfast.
Tokyo business hotel
We have stayed several times at this hotel. We like the location, nearby restaurants, JR Train Station, and subway station, near Tokyo Station, Hotel has Japanese onsen, free breakfast, free WiFi, free beer in the evening, free noodles late night.
If you are wanting a hotel to stay while visiting Akihabara....then this is the place for you! It’s not only within walking distance from the anime mecca but also great in terms of catching the train to anywhere else you want to go! The late night soba is yummy and the property is cozy. The 7-11 next door is such a bonus as my daughter ate tiger pre-made spaghetti with meat sauce every morning. :-) The only downside is the slowness/inconsistency of the WiFi but my cell phone had outstanding reception so I was able to use that as a modem instead. Easy fix! I would absolutely recommend this AMAZING hotel to any visitor to downtown Electric Town!!
Oh my god this has been by far my favorite hotel in Tokyo. Location is just a 5 min walk from both Kanda Station and Akihabara Station. There is a convenience store right next door in case you need to pick up snacks or forgot toiletries. The hotel is nice and quiet as well so you can get some great rest for a busy morning. It's also convenient to get a taxi from the corner (I used the JapanTaxi app and had zero issues) if you've got luggage and don't want to haul it to wherever you're heading next. The room is decently sized for Japan and it's very modern with a lot of electrical sockets. It's clean and has everything you need! Check-in is easy and efficient and they have a free beer and ramen in the evening. Check-out is just as simple. The only thing to note is that you have to take the stairs or elevator to get to the front desk which is a tad inconvenient if you check-in late and the doors to the elevator are locked but I imagine there is a simple way to buzz in or have them get you. Overall, I absolutely loved it and will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in Tokyo!
Good hotel
Good hotel and nice onsen. Could let you check-in a little earlier
Japanese bath is excellent at Dormy Inn Kanda. I had the larger room on this stay and it was also quite confortanle. Staff are helpful. Overall this has become my go to hotel in Tokyo for business travel.
Very convenience to go shopping, train station, and restaurant from hotel . It Is very safe and people are very kinds. Recommend to everyone.
Excellent location and clean condition. but the price is too high and the desk was too small.
Excellent hot spring and free asahi / juice afterwards with nice city view. Love the free noodle offered at night as well. The staff were very nice. Also the location was great surrounded by different route of metro station easily access to many places.
nice but ouch!
This is a great hotel in terms of location, right next to a metro station and many more within walking distance. Good mix of F&B around the neighbourhood. Onsen, ramen and Tornado beer are good additional thrills. However there is something about the bed. We were bitten probably by mites during our sleep. Asked for change of bedsheets, but we were still bitten. I was bitten around the ears, which means there were mites on the pillows too. Nothing much the staff can do. Hope they can improve on this one nagging problem. This will take the guests' experience a few notches up.
Quick Tokyo jaunt
Stayed at a Dormy Inn before so we had an expectation we hoped for. This Kanda location was great too. Classic Dormy Inn amenities like a good onsen (hot spa) and night ramen. What? Free ramen late night? -Yes and it was pretty good. Complementary beer (or soda) after the onsen was super refreshing too. Location is alright. Good spot if you are going to Akihabara... 5-7 min walk, easily. The onsen was larger than expected and even had a six person sauna. The breakfast was ok for a foreigner, probably awesome for the locals. Would stay again if we need another overnight in Tokyo.
A very relaxing and comfort place to stay in during the winter and spring period. Free beer and ramen at the night time is the best for the stay after a tiring shopping day at akihabara
Great location
nice spa and free noddle service was great. Room was too small
Very comfortable stay. Only minor points are if they can have another trash bin in the washroom & can change breakfast everyday. Then it will make the stay even for comfortable.
A nice place for our family of four.
This hotel is very close to subway. JR is only about 6-8 mins walk. There is a street full of good restaurants. Hotel room is big and comfortable. In a quiet area. Highly recommended.
Amazing value for money. The small details they provided: flashlight, toothbrush, hairbrush, full shampoo and conditioner, pajmamas, free ramen dinner, free glass of beer, onsen, fantastic breakfast buffet. All around highly recommended!! Also, 3 min walk to station and close to Starbucks.
The room is nice. (Much larger compared to other Dormy Inn) Staffs are helpful. Public bath and Soba at night are still great.
Here's what we liked about Dormy Inn Kanda: the room was spacious (we had the queen size), ports and wires for charging devices, internet connection was strongest of all dormy inns we have stayed at, spa/onsen was great. Here's what will make us choose another location: for us oldies, the Akihabara area was a bit too congested; although the Ginza entrance was steps away from the hotel, getting to other metro lines took more effort than we usually encounter. We've stayed at Dormy Inn Ueno and Dormy Inn Asakusa and those locations seem more suited for us in convenience in using the metro system.
Very pleasant, especially interesting area, only negative point was that, as most Japanese hotels, bed and pillows were too hard...
During our trip, our favorite hotels were probably the Dormy Inns. This location is no different. It boasts the same amenities as all their hotels, with a Spa / onsen on the top floor for use by guests. It has separate baths for both men and women, and late night access to both indoor and outdoor baths. This location also features a free beer in addition to the usual free Ramen, though the beer is only available from 19:00-22:00. The beds are a little bit firm, like most of the hotels throughout japan, but after a while you get used to it and sleep quite comfortably on them. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. My friend developed an upset stomach on the night we stayed, and the staff was not only able to suggest an appropriate medication, they also provided a dose from the first aid kit free of charge. I'm very impressed with the level of service you receive at the Dormy Inn, and will look to book them again in the future.
Always love Dormy Inn hotels for the extra perks they provide - onsen, noodles at night, drink bar, etc. The free tornado beer was especially interesting for this branch! Location wise, it's near to both Kanda and Akihabara stations. And I can see Tokyo Sky Tree from the onsen! Building is new and clean too. A very comfortable stay!
Excellent experience
Excellent as always! Me and my husband like to stay in Dormy Inn brand in Japan. They give us a reliable service especially we like the free noodle and beer in night time.
A great choice for Akihabana fans.
We stayed at the 24sqm room. Everything was great except wifi inroom was unstable. The problem was solved with a router from hotel.
Wonderful!
Everything was great! Location, Cleanliness, Staff, Room, Size (Twin), Water pressure & temperature, Freebies. Akibahara is just across the street. Kanda Station (Ginza Line) is at the doorstep. The other stations for JR, Shinjuku and Ma
Great location, everything you need, plus onsen
Free breakfast, WiFi, beer at 7PM, udon at 9:30PM, great location — easy walk to Kanda station (with both Yamanote JR loop line, and Ginza Subway), one train stop from Tokyo Station, and one from Akihabara (electronics area). Plus to top it all off a beautiful onsen on the 12th floor.
Outstanding Hotel
Great hotel. Friendly staff, free evening beer and late night bowl of ramen. Washing machines are free, dryers 100 yen per load. Wonderful. Bathing facilities, good WiFi. Highly recommended.
Great stay bonus hot spring and soba at night
It’s a pleasure stay for our family. Room is quiet small but the design of separating the room and hallway is great for us while our baby is just 9 months old. There’s 711 next door so it’s easy to get snack or drinks at night. Love the hot spring and free drinks/soba at night. Breakfast is simple but good to start a busy day! Only downside is the access to closest station is not very stroller friendly even there’s lift. You will need to have a long underground walk and there’s stairs and pass a gate (need to talk to the station staff) for the entrance next to hotel, so I would suggest to use other entrance or exit if you have stroller or luggages. Overall I have a pleasant stay and will surely come back if I don’t have too much luggages or stroller!
Easy access to transportation, shops. Very professional staff.
Given the accessibility room for wheelchair users as requested. Excellent facility and very fit for purpose.

Excellent location. Good service
