Excellent quiet location perfect for my purposes. Compact quiet pleasant room and very positive reception. It was two good firm pillows from excellent and I should probably have asked for them.

Friendly place with jolly bar in the evening. Very much a biz hotel. Service understandably slow at quiet times. Sadly my room was noisy at times during the day owing to repairs.

Great stay on a work trip

EXCELLENT HOTEL IN THE SUBURBS

This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed here. Eppendorf is a very pleasant suburb to the north of Hamburg. The hotel is close to parkland and about 20 minute walk from the upmarket Eppendorf town centre where there are restaurants, bars and cafes as well as a U-Bahn link to the city centre. The airport is 15 minutes away by taxi. The hotel is comfortable and the rooms a decent size, clean, and well-kept. Service was also very good. Self-service breakfast is superb with masses of choice. There is a terrace to the front of the hotel for eating or drinks. I would highly recommend.

I was disappointed that the refrigerator loses power when away from the hotel room(keycard required for power to the room). Causing my food and drinks to all get warm while gone for the day.

Wonderful hotel except for the employee person knocking at the door to see if everything worked? Why bother me for such a question? I thought it was weird. They can call, email or inquire when I’m in the lobby. Everything else was lovely including afternoon desserts and drinks in the bar.

The Blonde receptionist needs to work on at least pretending that she likes having guests over at the hotel, From the first day she was very abrupt and rude the other days not so much, maybe she is not used to having Latin guests over, The rest of the staff and the people at the bar were extremely nice as opposed to her.

Really a lovely hotel in a quiet area of Hamburg. Several restaurants in walking distance. Quiet with a great breakfast and fantastic parking. I have stayed there several times… not close to “downtown” as more of a business hotel

Stayed once in 2015 which the experience was great. In 2022 this hotel maintained quite well, same experience as what I had before.

I like this hotel - the staff is really helpful, rooms are the right size,modern, clean - the only point: the pillows are too soft (for me)

Essentially liked everything. Room servicing every morning, air conditioned, recently updated with fitness center. Included buffet breakfast is wonderful. Situated in quiet, high end area. Only drawback is distance from U-bahn, but busses are right there on site. Tremendous value for cost.

Comfortable and well appointed room close to the hospital. Appreciated the pillow menu service as the pillows provided were very soft. A shame that there is currently no room service or restaurant offering at the hotel, as there aren’t any restaurants close to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel next to UKE hospital. Check-in went smooth. Fridge is removed from room due to corona. room otherwise totally fine. Breakfast was served at the table, selection was ok.

The location was fabulous for us, so near town and bus services which we used a lot as was visiting our friend In hospital. Hotel exceptionally clean and very warm, in fact we turned our heating off. Only one small thing, I would of liked to be able to open a window

Close to the airport. Handy for public transport (bus and subway) to city centre and main attractions. Bus No.5 turn right as you leave hotel and less than 5 minutes walk to X roads and bus stop takes you to conference centre and city centre. Hotel very comfortable and excellent breakfast.

Great suburb to stay in to visit Hamburg

Our first time in Hamburg. We has read that there was not much in Eppendorf but let me assure everyone it is a great place to stay. Easy to get to from the airport and great and inexpensive links to get into the city which is brilliant. The hotel itself was very good. The service was brilliant and the reception staff helped us considerably with how to get around the city. The bar experience was good and it was impossible to fault our room. Eppendorf is an up-market, quiet, leafy suburb with some very good independent shops and a good array of bars, cafes and restaurants. Nothing not to like.

The hotel was in a great location for our stay in Hamburg! We were visiting family and it was a short and walkable distance to their place! Also very comfy and quiet. We were expecting breakfast to be included with our stay but it was 21 Euro per person. We felt it was too expensive and wished there were possibly cheaper options. Overall though, very nice hotel. I would definitely recommend.

Smooth easy checkin. The room was nice and had a working air conditioning system with thermostat! Very important when it's hot out. The only surprise was a bit of smoke smell in the hallway. Even though the room was non-smoking it didn't mean there might not be a room with smokers further down the hall. Overall, though, an excellent place to stay. Skipped the breakfast so cannot comment on it. Liked the walkable neighborhood.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, professional and courteous staff. I stayed there because it is close to UKE hospital, otherwise the area has nothing much to offer. Wasn't unsafe or anything like that, just nothing notable.

Lovely Hotel next to University Hospital

I had an appointment at the Martini Klinik and this hotel is within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and quiet. I will stay here again if needed no problem.

Convenient and clean hotel

Enjoyed my stay...only thing was that breakfast wasn't included in my booking and it was quite expensive. Staff wasn't very flexible in trying to accommodate a customer. Other than that, was quite good!

Good but was better

Have stayed at this Dorint in the past -- it was better then. Now no smoked salmon for breakfast, no individual toiletries in bathroom, sauna barely warm (steam room was good). Everything felt 'less' but it is still a decent, clean hotel with good service with a couple of very good restaurants within 5 blocks.

Nice Hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights. This is a nice modern hotel with a good buffet breakfast. It is not near the U Bahn but there is a bus stop right outside the door. There are not many full service hotels serving this area, and this one is well located for local hospital and businesses. But there is not much of interest in the area for tourists.

Nice modern hotel-had cheap mid week rates. Quiet area in leafy, georgeous eppendorf. Nothing in immeadiate vincinity (except hospitals and clinics), but on two bus routes which rapidly get you to nearest underground.

Nice hotel, disappointed with Check-In

The hotel itself was very comfortable, however the check-in experience put a damper on the entire experience. The hotel was not entirely at fault as the discrepancies arose from the differences in wording by Expedia and Dorint. The one thing I found surprising was that we were not given fresh towels daily, and there was a considerable amount of dust on the floors.

City Break - Quality Hotel

Stayed at the Dorint Eppendorf for 3 nights over New Year. The hotel and staff are first class. It is a little bit out from the city centre but the area of Eppendorf itself is very nice and there is a good selection of shops & restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk of the hotel. Access to the city centre is very easy using either public transport or taxis.

Good hotel in a pleasant part of Hamburg

The staff are attentive, speak excellent English and were always helpful. We stayed for three nights and breakfast, which was sumptuous with a good variety, was included. The bed was comfortable and we both had good nights sleep. The only disadvantage is that it is about 15 minutes walk from the metro/subway, but there is a good bus service into town. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the standard of cooking was high and the food well presented. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel

This seemed like a newer hotel so everything was quite nice. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Located in a very nice suburb, about 10min walk to U-bahn and 15 minutes into HBF. Can reach hotel from Airport with public transportation and a short walk. Would certainly look for a Dorint Hotel in other locations I may visit.

No brainer hotel for a business trip

The hotel is clean, efficient, simple and business oriented. The room has a desk to work on, good internet and the bed / bathroom are clean and convenient. I also enjoyed the gym with sauna and steam room in the basement to refresh after a day of work.

Windows that open!

Lovely hotel although in the typical modern chain-hotel style. Interested and caring staff. Room windows actually open fully which is wonderful and sadly rare in my experience. Restaurant closed on Sunday, but you can turn right out of the hotel, walk a hundred metres and come to a nice high street with loads of bars / cafes / shops. Nice safe surroundings. I'd certainly recommend it particularly for business travellers.

Kurzaufenthalt im Zuge eines Fußballspiels

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, bei dem das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung ist. Sehr sauber und modernes Zimmer, alles wirklich bestens, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Pro: Frühstück, Zimmer, Regendusche mit genug Druck. Kontra: Kein Parkplatz (direkt daneben ist eine Tiefgarage, aber 35€ für 24 Stunden) Bar macht viel zu früh zu (24Uhr an einem Samstag) Zimmer hatte keine Minibar, allerdings den Schrank dafür Fernseher viel zu klein.

Sehr schönes Hotel, Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet, Hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Einziger Nachteil ist das Parken. Tiefgarage pro Tag 35€ , auf der Straße vorm Hotel 11€

Parkplatzbetreuer unfreundlich und forsch

Das Parkhaus beim Hotel, welches extern unterhalten wird ist sehr sehr teuer. (38 euro). Funktioniert der Geldautomat nicht, wird man ganz frech und unfreundlich von einer Dame bedient, welche erwartet, dass man 30 Minuten warten muss bis ein Techniker kommt. Ansonsten 2 km pro Weg laufen um an einem Bankomaten Bargeld zu beziehen. Keine Möglichkeit zur Ausfahrt. Dies ist ein absolutes no go. Wir waren geschäftlich in Hamburg und hatten Termine wahrzunehmen. Die Parkplätze azf der Strasse sind von 09.00 h bis 20.00 h 3 Euro pro Stunde

Gut, war aber schon besser!

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und von angenehmer Größe und Ausstattung. Die Suitepads funktionierten in beiden gebuchten Zimmern nicht, ein Zimmer hatte einen Kühlschrank, eines nicht - schade! Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Fantastisk hotel. Lækre værelser, lækker morgenbuffet og servicen var helt i top. Vi var så uheldig at miste vores parkeringsbillet, men hjælpen fra hotellets personale var helt unik.
