brilliant hotel

I stayed here for a quick trip after attending a medical conference in Italy. I was quite happy with the hotel. My room was clean and ready when I arrived and comfortable. The view from the balcony Was lovely. The main pool was nice, and an important difference from Caribbean resorts is that any time you could walk up and find a lounge chair compared to making up at the crack of dawn to reserve chairs. The drink service was good, though not quite as attentive as I would have liked. My only concern was that I travelled here with friends/colleagues and one of 5 nights we were having a nice time on the patio outside bar. Another guest screamed at us and threw water off their balcony at us. This was before midnight at an all inclusive resort. Nobody was hurt. But this is completely unacceptable. And when it was raised to the hotel staff we were told that “it’s a quiet hotel” instead of dealing with the problem. Laughing on a patio bar before midnight while on vacation should not be considered inappropriate and the handling was completely wrong.

Fabulous winter break location !

Lovely room overlooking the sea from which we saw amazing sunsets. We took advantage of the half board with evening buffet. All food was of a high standard. The pool terrace was sheltered from wind, pool was heated and it was a sunny location all day. Lovely walks from the hotel in both directions. They used a company called Anamation, for aqua gym and various other events, all of which were very entertaining . Staff friendly and helpful around the hotel.

There was especially young lady,made mee angry.I explaned -and she wouldn´t understand.I hope she will explane,why.She was the manager,they told mee.She promised to answer,none came to my room to check neither.I got very good service from reception desk,and also after i moved to an apartment.Hope to get explanation for her behave.

Fantastic Ocean View in a Quiet Neighborhood.

Very nice hotel with view of the ocean from inside the room. Nice to see a full mini-fridge and the first supply of drinks were free. Quiet at night. WiFi worked well. Large shopping center across the street with taxis and bus stops. Breakfast was included, it was quite large and there was plenty food of every type. Asked for a king bed, got doubles. Watch out in the shower, the temperature swings between hot and cold rapidly. No wash cloths or tissues provided. Nothing in English on TV except BBC and CNN.

Perfect hotel situation

On our third visit we had a wonderful 8 days and was so good as staff were so pleasant and helpful always smiling and there when needed My sister and I enjoyed a restful happy week Patricia and Henrietta

Overall was a good stay. Was a little disappointed that the gymnasium was not open yet as the hotel website had advertised as open. Clean rooms. Great ocean view. Stupid rules about not wearing shorts to dinner, which is just a buffet. Rediulous. Staff is friendly enough but the majority of guests from Europe are a miserable lot. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Would definitely recommend - a fab hotel

I was very impressed with Dunas Don Gregory. The view from every room is fab overlooking the ocean, with palm trees and sunset visible from our room. The swimming pool and two sun terraces provide for all guests, we prefered the top terrace. But most of all the staff really made the stay very special indeed, they were always friendly and helpful. The waiters were brilliant on New Year's Eve, working tirelessly to ensure everyone was being looked after. The hotel created a very special occasion for New Year, with entertainment, live band as well as complimentary wine throughout the meal. Reception staff were also very helpful. They all seemed to be from the region itself and seemed genuinely to work as a team, as though they'd all been there for a while - creating a very happy ambience in spite of the hotel being quite big. Don't be put off by the horrid shopping centre nearby, which you see when you first arrive: once you're in your room that's not visible at all - and in fact proved useful at times to buy odds and ends. Once in your room, you have the wonderful terrace and ocean view to enjoy! I would love to come back - and just hope that after the refurbishment, the prices don't go up. We thought the rooms were comfortable and clean - in the eyes of some a little dated maybe but didn't bother us - hence the refurb I guess. In summary - wholly recommend this hotel.

Great All Inclusive ocean front hotel

All rooms are ocean front. This is one of the few hotels on the island situated directly on a sandy beach. The rooms are spacious. The 8th floor has some rooms that are town house rooms with beautiful views to the ocean from the living room, balcony and bedroom. The pool is heated. You can opt for all inclusive for a reasonable price. We choose breakfast and dinner included to have the afternoon free to tour the island. The dinner offerings varied from day to day. The beach board walk is a well manicured long stretch with shopping and restaurants. A supermarket with reasonable priced snacks is located across the street. The staff is multilingual. The area is safe to walk around day and night time. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. It’s an ideal place for a long holiday.

Hotel Dunas Don Gregory. Gran Canaria.

This hotel was just perfect in every way. The staff were fanastic and so nice. The location was perfect and close the beach, walk ways, bars and restaurants also busses and the taxi rank were close to the hotel. Their own restaurent was wonderful and the food was super. The heated swiimming pool and terrace views while having a coffee was just beautiful. Nice piano bar and comfortable rooms with great balconies and again lovely views.

Great hotel for a relaxing seniors holiday.

This was our first visit to the canaries? My wife and I are retired and just wanted a quiet week in the sun. The hotel was ideal. Most guests were older, mainly German. The staff couldn't have been nicer, particularly with disabled guests and the food was fabulous. The rooms are a little dated but all have a sea view and have everything we needed. The grounds open on to a promenade with walks in either direction and access to a nice beach. At the back is a large shopping complex with many supermarkets and restaurants. The pool is large, spotless and warm and the pool side bar and restaurant is a delight. We shall return!

Not a four star hotel

This hotel needs refurbished ,it may have been four star about 20 years ago but not now.

An entirely enjoyable stay!

Friendly hotel staff, a beautiful shady garden together with the proximity of the beach, very comfortable beds and the superb variety of the food all made our stay a very enjoyable one. I would certainly return to Dunas Don Gregory for another holiday.

Great hotel for family holiday right on the beach

The location of the Dunas Don Gregory is what attracted us to book this hotel, it is literally on a lovely soft, dark sandy beach which was perfect for a family holiday with a 2 young children. The hotel itself, although dated in some areas, was a pleasant surprise. From various reviews we expected to be the only family but there were plenty of younger couples and families with children of various ages along with the older clientele. Our room was spacious and clean, made up with 2 generous twin beds and 2 put-up beds for the children. We had a small balcony with amazing views of the beach, sea and Maspalomas sand dunes in the distance. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of free sun-loungers throughout the day. We stayed half board which worked out well with the children especially with the first dinner sitting starting at 6:30pm. The breakfast and dinner buffet was great. Dinner included lots of fresh salads, vegetables and selection of fish and meat dishes and plenty of choice for the kids who loved going to get their next course. The waiters in the restaurant were especially lovely to the children even though they were working extremely hard to keep the restaurant running smoothly with the large numbers of people moving through. We enjoyed our mealtimes and certainly didn't feel rushed to leave. The children did enjoy the acrobatic show one evening but be warned the music nights don't finish until 11pm so you may well be hearing the birdy song on a loop!

" Relaxing short break "

Went as a single traveller, hotel was fine for short visit. Positives : Clean throughout hotel, lovely location on the promenade. Food adequate choice, reasonable quality. Negatives: Small outside area and lounge area, would probably prefer a larger pool area. Gym was in the basement, smelly with dated equipment and not enough space between machines. All inclusive drinks not replenished, always had to go and ask someone for another glass of wine at dinner. No waiter service around pool or in lounge area. Other guests were mainly over 65 years old, not a negative just an observation. Adequate hotel, not luxurious but clean and comfortable.

more for older couples without children

Booked hotel for myself, friend and my 2 year old daughter. Wanted something quiet and close to the beach for a short break. Few hiccups at the start with regards to staff not being helpful and quite dismissive and breakfast not very good but the problem was resolved by the next day by the lady manager who was very helpful and apologetic. The location is ideal but is definitely for elderly couples we didn't feel very comfortable at meal times and around the pool as there were no children and we felt we were bothering the other guests because of my 2 year old (who is actually very good. ) We spent most of our time on the beach which suited us and it was an ideal location, close to shops , restaurants and of course the beach. The rooms are dated but comfortable.

It was a really pleasant stay. Relaxing atmosphere, clean and hotel’s staff very kind. Excellent view from the balcony (8th floor) which I enjoyed the most! I would definitely stay there again : )

Fabulous location

The hotel was practically on the beach in a quiet part of the island. You could watch the sun rise and set from your balcony. The staff were helpful and we had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Great place for a beach holiday

What attracted me to this hotel was it's proximity to the beach as described in the information I'd first read. Its short walk is ideal for holidaymakers who want to spend their time doing the "sand, sea or surf" thing. I also liked that it was a reasonable drive - approximately 15 minutes - from the airport. However, being rated a 4 star hotel, is overly generous as, in my view, it isn't up to that standard. In general, most of the staff tried to be helpful, although language was sometimes an issue, and questions/requests got lost in translation. My biggest issue, was with the room. My first impression on arrival was the off putting smell, which I think came from a damp/mustiness in the bathroom - but coouldn't be sure. The decor, could do with sprucing up and I certainly don't expect to see cobwebs on the ceiling! Another drawback was the basic TV set, limited number of stations available, and the only English speaking channel was a dedicated news channel. Not a particular problem for me, but may be for others, especially families. I took the all inclusive option, which is useful if you don't want the hassle of trying to find places to eat. The food was plentiful, if a little bland, their focus clearly on catering for the masses, and not on showcasing the food of the region. On the positive side, there was lots to encourage healthy eating, but what was with the cold beans! Overall, - not the worst hotel in the world, but definetely could do better.

Excellent stay at Don Gregory!

I have just come back from a 6-day stay at the Don Gregory, a hotel I can highly recommend. Rooms were very nice with beautiful view over the ocean (though one of our rooms did smell a little old). Staff is very very friendly, service is great, food excellent (breakfast and dinner buffet), pool area is nice and location of the hotel for a quiet stay couldn't be better. The hotel also surprised me with a bottle of champagne in my room as I celebrated my birthday - this was on their own action - customer focus! The location is great - nice beach walk only 15 minutes away from a small shopping center and about 25 minutes away from Playa del Inglés. The beach right down the hotel is one of the better in the area. Quiet and not so crowded. I strongly recommend this hotel. I will for sure be back if I am ever in the area again.

A very good hotel with good service and facilities situated right across the beach and with the shopping mall on the other side. 20 minutes from the airport with bus stops a few minutes away.

Good Hotel for fully inclusive guests

the Don Gregory Hotel is a fine establishment that has fine ocean view twin rooms. Food was good and the service was attentive and professional. My Only let down from the Hotel was the location of fthe baggage storage area post checkout. I requested a late checkout and this was not available. I put my bag in the secure area (Completely unsecure and open access to all. It was not overlooked by camera or the reception) Was told that there was an allocated room to change but this did not materialise and had to use a bathroom with filthy floors. Diminished an otherwise good experience at the Hotel

Sol- och badsemester

Relativt bra hotell i San Agustin. Rummet vi hade, "duplex-rum" hade fin utsikt över havet och privata solbäddar. Hotellets läge är perfekt med direktaccess till den fina sandstranden och havet. Rummen håller okej standard men känns inte alltid helt genomtänkta, ex. placering av dusch i sovrummet samt att nedervåningen på rummet upplevdes som det hade outnyttjad potential. Däremot är det mycket positivt att handdukar, vid behov, även byts ut kvällstid. Maten på halvpensionen består av en middagsbuffé som håller en bra klass. Det saknas dock en tydlighet i hur restaurangen fungerade och vid det första besöket fick man fråga sig fram av väldigt stressad personal. En stor positiv del var borden utomhus med utsikt över havet. Frukostbuffén levde upp till förväntningar med både stort utbud av färskpressade juicer och omelett på beställning. I övrigt fanns allt man kunde behöva i form av bröd, yoghurt och varma rätter. Poolområdet är ganska kompakt, men om man bor i premiumrummen får man tillgång till en solterrass med mindre trängel och mjuka solbäddar. Aldrig några som helst problem att finna en ledig solbädd - oavsett tid på dagen. Vi provade poolbar vid några tillfällen. Läget är fint med utsikt över havet och baren har även öppet kvällstid. Drinkarna var dock en stor besvikelse - som betalande gäst. Proportionerna på drinkarnas innehåll var helt fel och de smakade inte som de bör göra - alla drinkar verkade göras via en "maskin" som blandade ihop dem.

War sehr schön , und gepflegt, immer freundliches Personal

Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür und es gibt zwei kleine Pools. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht. Das Essen war lecker, jedoch ist man als vegetarische Person phasenweise etwas aufgeschmissen. Wenn man darauf keinen Wert legt, ist gerade Fleisch- und Fisch-Küche, die live zubereitet wird, empfehlenswert. Bei Halbpension muss man beachten, dass Getränke beim Abendessen auch nicht inklusive sind. Im All-inclusive gibt es dieses Problem nicht. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und wusste unsere Unannehmlichkeiten zu kompensieren. Auch beim Essen wurden wir nett und flink bedient. Du Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Bel hôtel au bord de la plage, très propre, deux piscines. Personnel très professionnel , souriant et agréable. Nourriture bonne et variée. Excellents cocktails ou pas en fonction du barman. Dommage que les transats et parasol soient payant à la plage.

Tolles Hotel mit tollem Personal! Auch das es so gut wie jeden Tag ein Abendprogramm gibt hat mir sehr gefallen.

Läget toppen! Rummen kunde vara mer ombonande ( bord fåtölj ) som ex.

Superior room med air condition? Hotellet må virkelig vurdere å oppgradere anlegget sitt. Tre besøk av servicepersonell og lekkasje fra fra taket. Umulig å sove med 26-28 grader i rommet

Flott strandhotell!

Vakkert strandhotell med perfekt beliggelse ved sjøkanten med nydelig utsikt over sjøen og snadørkenen i Maspalomas. Hotellet er et eldre 70-tals hotell som er vakkert renovert og oppleves som moderne og veldrevet. Kort avstand til flyplassen og god bussforbindelse inn til provinshovedstaden Las Palmas. Det serveres spennende og varierte måltider og samtlige ansatte oppleves som svært imøtekommende og vennlige. Hotellet kan sterkt anbefales!

Herlig strandhotell!

Dette er et utrolig hyggelig strandhotell som ligger sentralt plassert ved San Agustín med kort vei fra flyplassen og rett ved stranden. Hotellet er moderne og smakelig innrettet med hyggelig og service innstilte ansatte. Hotellet har alt man behøver for en avslappende ferie ved stranden.

Underbart vecka

Underbart hotell med det bästa läget intill Burras. Enkelt att välja poolen, soldäcket eller stranden. Allt lätt tillgängligt. Mycket trevlig personal som var hjälpsam. Mycket bra frukost. Gymmet var i minsta laget.

Bra, tyvärr lite störa av havets ljud främst på nätterna.

Great location but food was poor quality overall.

The hotel, room and pools were okay and I enjoyed my stay. However the food was not very good. I had breakfast and dinner included and the choice was excellent - however the quality very poor. Most meat/poultry was tough, sinewy and dry. Poor quality and food in general was not kept warm enough. That also contributes to everything being very dry. All bread was also very dry and did not seem fresh but stale. There was no direction or theme except for 1 day and all food lacked garnishes and flavour. Overall food quality could improve a lot. It was not very corona friendly either, with big buffet, tons of people in line and a lot of items lacked tongs so people had to use their hands. Breakfast juicebar was very good though. Overall I probably would not stay again because of that even though I did enjoy the room itself as well as the location.

Pent renovert strandhotell med perfekt beliggenhet til stranden. Vakker utsikt fra rommene, umiddelbar nærhet til strand og gode turmuligheter. Stille og rolig område med gode bruddmuligheter til både Maspalomas, flyplassen og Las Palmas. Vennlige og imøtekommende ansatte.

Fantastiskt ställe, precis bredvid stranden och vågornas brus. Trevligt rum med underbar havsutsikt och bra balkong. Fräsch & snygg anläggning. Allt var perfekt, enda undantaget var sängen som jag fann något hård. Hade fyra underbara dygn här.

Cadre magnifique et hôtel confortable. La suite détenait une vue sur l’océan sauf qu’il manquait de l’ombre sur le balcon donc peu profité durant la journée. Le personnel était très sympathique.

Fue una estancia corta pero agradable. A destacar el personal, servicial y atento. Nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos. Nuestras expectativas las superaron con creces. El hotel es bonito y reconfortable. Estar en primera línea de playa respetando el entorno no es fácil pero está más que logrado. Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Desayuno y buffet de cena más que notable. Sin duda, es un hotel perfecto para estancias en el sur de Gran Canaria. Enhorabuena a Dunas por este gran producto.

La situación perfecta, frente al mar, al lado de la playa.

Great hotel, service and convenient in many ways which makes it a great place. Highly recommend the restaurant outside by the pool where you can order á la carte if you want more Spanish style food. That is excellent! The buffet in the other restaurant is of good quality and you can find really tasty dishes and breakfast was great, but for dinner a lot is adjusted for Germans wanting to eat similar to what they are used to so not what I had hoped for when in Spain. At the same time primarily good quality and a lot of fruit and vegetables makes up. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Hotel mit toller Lage und Chance auf Verbesserung

Der Empfang war freundlich, aber kompliziert. Denn Gäste mit Vorauszahlung gibt es normal wohl nur bei Reisegruppen. Jedenfalls kann die Abwicklung nur der Chef der Rezeption machen, und der hat viel zu tun. Also, es dauert. Alle sind sehr freundlich. Doch im Restaurant/Barbereich sollte man Zeit mitbringen, wenn man zur Essenszeit einen Drink bestellt. Ungewöhnlich ist die Zuzahlung für die Nutzung des Tresors im Zimmer. Die Parkplätze sind sehr eng und müssen einzeln aufgeschlossen werden. Die Glastür der Dusche klemmte am Boden, also nicht zu schließen. Aber insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit tollem Strand (wenn man Zeit dafür hat).

Sol o Bad

Allt var toppen förutom att sängarna var för hårda. Vi hade all inclusiv men banden fick vi inte förräns 3 timmar senare, så vi fick betala dryck innan.När vi kom upp på rummet så var vi tvugna att be värdinnan boka safetyboxen, vilket hade varit bra att få info om när vi kom, liksom allinclusive men annars var allt perfekt.

Séjour magnifique. Grand confort dans les suites avec vue directement sur l'océan. Personnel très accueillant et souriant.

Haft en dejlig ferie på et skønt hotel, fint værelse, fine omgivelser, wifi overalt inde og ude som virker, med venligt personale og god mad og drikke. Havde all inclusive og det var fint. Kan varmt anbefales.

Echtes Wohlfühlhotel diretk am Strand

Direkt am Strand (keine 50m) weg - Zugang vom Hoteleigenen Poolbereich aus mgl. Man hört das Meer wennman die Balkontür etwas offen lässt - ich find das toll - manche stört dies aber evtl. Es sind günstige Parkplätze für Autos vorhanden gegen Zahlung 6€ pro Tag bekommt man Schlüssel für die Absperrung des dann eigenen nummerierten Platzes. Gegenüber sind Geschäfte und Supermarkt falls man sich mit Kleinigkeiten eindecken möchte. Die Buffets für Frühstück und Abendessen erfüllen wohl so ziemlich jeden Wunsch und es werden auch noch Dinge frisch zubereitet. Hinweis: Es sind keine Kinder zugelassen.

Excellent séjour

C'est un deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout est parfait. Amabilité du personnel, bonne cuisine variée, choix dans les plats chauds, les entrées, les desserts, les boissons.

Et nyrenovert og fresht hotell. Meget god service. Maten var som forventet, ved buffet. Nydelig beliggenhet ved stranda, perfekt for morgenbad. Eneste negative, for oss, var at gjennomsnittsalderen på gjestene, var mye høyere enn forventet.

Ikävää että illallisen hintaan ei kuulunut ruokajuoma, kuten vesi. Ruoka oli kuitenkin todella hyvää.

Mycket bra hotell med fint läge

Mycket bra fyrstjärningt hotell med perfekt läge direkt vid stranden och den trevliga standpromenaden. Utmärkta renoverade rum med fantastisk utsikt över havet och brus från havet.

Har varit på D Gregory många ggr .Nu är hotellet nyrenoverat o mycket fräscht o trivsamt.

Wunderschönes Hotel!! Atemberaubender Ausblick direkt aufs offene Meer von jedem Zimmer aus. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Getränke an der Bar sind nicht überteuert wie es sonst in vielen vergleichbaren Hotels auf diesem Niveau ist! Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr modern. Rund um erholsam, gerne jederzeit wieder!!

Don Gregory - Badehotellet i San Augustin

Don Gregory er et nyoppusset hotell, med en flott beliggenhet helt på stranda i San Augustin. Et ypperlig utgangspunkt for gjester, som liker lange gå og løpeturer langs strender og promenader. Neste gang er det vårt opphold nr 10 som venter :-)

Es la tercera vez que voy a este hotel y volvere. Tiene muy buena ubicación y la playa pegada al hotel, vamos que es primera linea de playa... más no se puede pedir ..... La playa Las Burras esta bastante bien ..., Te puedes ir andando desde aquí hasta el Faro de Maspalomas pasando por las diferentes playas que hay las unas pegadas a las otras, yo todavía no lo he conseguido, pero espero hacerlo la siguiente vez que vaya Los desayunos son fabulosos, la comida y la cena para mi gusto bastante flojas...... El personal del hotel es muy atento y simpático.... desde que entras en el hotel hasta que te vas te tratan de maravilla Se que me voy a olvidar a muchos pero quisiera mencionar a Rosa que es un encanto de mujer, suele estar en el comedor en desayunos y las horas de la comida.....Luego en los diferentes horarios tanto en comedor como en las dos barras que hay me gustaría mencionar a Sierra, Femy, Gloria, Rocio, Cristo, Ely, Zeus,Benedicto, Pedro, Agustin, Jerónimo, En la recpeción a Jose Gil, y Arturo, así como las animadoras Sandra y Desireé y a Teresa en las Habitación...... estos son una pequeña parte de la plantilla que hace que la estancia en este hotel sea una maravilla...... Perfekt hotell vid stranden.

Fint boende precis vid "egen" strand. Ett av de bäst belägna hotellen längs hela kusten. Kontrollera vilken våning du bokat. Vi fick "havsutsikt" från källaren. Satt långt inne innan vi fick byta rum. Annars jättefin service och god, omväxlande mat. Fint att sitta på altanen precis vid Atlanten och äta frukost.☺

don Gregory är ett bra val.

Nära havet och den fina strandpromenaden. Varmt vatten (+28) i båda poolerna. All inclusieve med trevlig personal. Vårt rum låg på marknivå, tyvärr gick ingen hiss dit ned. Vårt första besök på don Gregory men våra vänner har bott där 7 år tidigare, de saknar de trevliga danskvällarna från föregående år. Wifi funkade bra. Vi kommer säkert tillbaka.

Bra val

Bra val, nyrenoverad hotel med rena rum och fresh restaurang samt fin pool, tillräcklig solstolar, god frukost och mat.

Fint Hotell på en kjekk plass

Vi hadde all inklude. God og variert mat. Vanskelig å finne ledige solsenger, da mange okkuperte sengende veldig tidlig, uten å bruke sengene særlig.

Good choice

Hotel seems old and little bit shabby, but clean. Service was good, especially in restaurant, where waitress Rosa was real sunshine of the day (that drag service-points 4 to 5). Over the all worth of money.

Buena estancia pero muy masificado

Nos ha gustado pero su distribución hace que la piscina este repleta de hamacas y agobia un poco.

muy relajante, se accede a la playa a través del propio hotel y las vistas son maravillosas. La comida muy aceptable y variada. Especial mención a todo el personal, de recepción, bar, restaurante, etc. muy amables y profesionales. Enhorabuena

Jälleen kerran hieno lomapätkä don Gregogyssa! Kaikki hotellin huoneet luonnontannan välittömässä läheisyydessä, upea aaltojen pauhu yötä päivää.

Upea sijainti aivan meren rannalla. Todella siisti hotelli kaikin puolin. Ruoka hotellissa oli hyvää ja monipuolista. Hotellin vieraista 90% eläkeläisiä, joten meno oli hyvin rauhallista ja yöt sä kerrankin nukkua vain meren pauhua kuunnellen. Ainoa miinus oli, ettei Wifi toiminut laisinkaan koko vierailuni aikana. Sitä ei tulisi hotellin tiedoissa mainostaa, koska itselleni se on aina yksi valintakriteereistä.

Vi har tidligere hatt et opphold på don gregory, det var om vinteren og vi var kjempefornøyd med oppholdet. Nå var vi I juli 14 dg og det var skuffende. Hotellet var under renovering og opp pussing og det var støy heile dagen. Stranden som hotellet ligger på var full av lokalbefolkningen. Veldig støy til langt på kveld. Med helgene var det full booket av spanjoler og det var reine kaoset i spisesalen. Maten var god men personalet var så stressa at det var vondt å se. Anbefaler ikke dette hotellet om sommeren.

Desilusión

Atencion mala en la recepción, el resto del personal muy bien Habitación en ubicación muy mala sin posibilidad de cambio por parte de recepción. Por ahora no pensamos volver mas y no lo aconsejamos, los hay mucho mejores y por el mismo precio

Tolle Strandlage, Pool- und Liegen zu eng/wenig

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und einzigartig am Strand gelegen. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und gut. Leider gab es wieder die üblichen Probleme bei den Liegen am Pool. Es wurde zugelassen, dass diese ab 6:30 Uhr reserviert werden können. Da hat man dann um 11:00 Uhr leider "Pech" gehabt. Es ist unglaublich, dass dieses Problem - trotz Bademeister - nicht gelöst werden kann. Es muss doch nicht sein, dass man morgens eine Liege reserviert und dann in aller Ruhe erst einmal shoppen geht um sie dann evtl. (wenn überhaupt) Nachmittags für eine Stunde zu benutzen.

Rummet var till utseendet helt likt alla andra på hotellet men jag fick bo på gaveln med ganska lite havsutsikt.En mur löpte förbi den i och för sig fina o stora balkongen .Stark eftermiddagssol. En kackerlacka befann sig på nattduksbordet en natt. Man sa att det var inget att bry sig om , det skall vara vanligt på Kanarieöarna.

fick ett skräprum inne i ett hörn som vi betalade hur mycket pengar för som helst. vi fick dock flytta efter ett par dagar och då blev det bra. men de första dagarna hade jag inte bett någon att bo i.

Voor noppes op het strand liggen is er niet bij, omdat het vrije stuk strand bij de gemiddelde waterhoogte gewoon te klein is voor de hotelclientèle plus de overige strandgebruikers. Weliswaar is er een groot stuk strand gereserveerd voor ligstoelen (eigenlijk het grootste), maar dat wordt uitgebaat door een privé-ondernemer en hoort niet bij het hotel. Het terras van het hotel zelf, rond de swimmingpool gelegen, is overdag eigenlijk te klein voor alle gasten (in Napoleontische slagorde, rij aan rij). De kamers zijn van goede grootte met voldoende kastruimte. Goede bedden met fijne stevige matras. Het hotel zou langzamerhand gerenoveerd worden en dat is wel tijd; met name de badkamer met minimale ruimte voor de douche, waardoor na gebruik - wat je ook probeert - uiteindelijk een waterballet resteert. Gelukkig wil de señora, die de kamers verzorgt, helpen met wat extra handdoek/voetmatje. Voor de halfpensionners zijn de drankprijzen - voor Spanje - redelijk aan de prijs. Het eten en de drank: Zowel 's morgens als 's avonds ruime keuze; 's morgens met eieren/spek, groentes en yoghurt in a zijn variaties; 's avonds met hors d'oeuvre, soep, hoofdgerecht, nagerecht en fruit. Redelijk tot goede kwaliteit, hoewel de thee bij het ontbijt wel een graad beter mag in kwaliteit. Wat er echt bovenuit schiet, is de broodkeuzemogelijkheid, maar vooral de kwaliteit van het broodassortiment (compliment!!) is ver boven gemiddeld.

Suis entièrement satisfaite de mon séjour. Ai apprécié la piscine, l'aquagym, le stretching sur la plage.L'hôtel est très bien situé à proximité des commerces d'un côté et de l'océan de l'autre côté.Il est d'un accès très facile, proche des arrêts de bus.Les repas sont copieux et variés.Le personnel est aimable et disponible.

15 jours dans cet hôtel du 12 au 26 juillet 2014. l’atmosphère de l’hôtel est un peu vieillotte et les gens y séjournant ne sont pas très gais . ambiance tristounette.

En la llegada al hotel tuvimos un contratiempo, ya que, habiamos solicitado habitacion en las ultimas plantas y no accedieron a la misma. De resto muy bien

LA ATENCIÓN Y LA COMIDA DEL HOTEL SON PÉSIMOS.

Reservé una estancia de fin de semana en todo incluído como regalo de cumpleaños de mi padre. Qué mala elección. Desde la entrada todo mal, los hicieron esperar más de dos horas porque no tenían localizada la reserva, y eso que la llevaron impresa y llamé el día antes a la central de reservas del hotel y hablé con la persona encargada de las reservan on line. Les atendieron muy mal, sin ningún tacto ni cortesía. Por ejemplo, les llamaron la atención por ir a la hamaca con un café, por si se rompía la taza. Y les negaron comer en el restaurante de la piscina a la carta, cuando en su página web dice que los clientes con todo incluído puedes elegir entre comer en el buffet o a la carta en el restaurante en piscina. Además, el día que salían, desde las 9 de la mañana estaba una camarera tocando para limpiar la habitación para los que entraban luego. Y ese mismo día, encima, antes de las once y media, un camarero les trae una botella de cava y al decirle que ellos salían en media hora, sin ninguna vergüenza, se llevó la botella y les dijo que entonces no era para ellos sino para los que entraban a mediodía. La comida es más bien de baja calidad. Decepcionante....

Does not worth the price !

J'ai passé 7 nuits dans cet hôtel et j'ai payé environ 107 euros pas nuits. Points positifs: propreté de la chambre, piscine chauffée et situation de l'hôtel. Points négatifs: le premier jour, le réceptionniste m'a demandé de payé tout de suite (j'ai 28 ans), alors que son collègue lui a demandé: mais normalement il dois payer à la sortie? On m'a donné une chambre au deuxième étage (la réception est au troisième), c'était plutôt le premier sous-sol. La chambre est propre mais vieille, les éviers dans la salle de bains étaient tous bouchés, la télé (à tube cathodique !!!) ne faisait que 20 pouces, la porte du balcon TRES difficile à ouvrir, et de toute façon, le balcon ne servait à rien puisque tellement proche du chemin qui longe l'océan, là ou tout le monde passe, que lorsque vous allez sur le balcon tout le monde vous regarde, ca revenait à s'asseoir dehors. Le restaurant était mauvais, la nourriture froide et identique tous les jours ou des "remake" du jour précédent, d'autant plus que les pinces qui servaient à prendre la nourriture, traînaient dans celle-ci. Internet est payant, 18 euros (ou 6 euros par jour) pour une semaine et il n'est utilisable que pour un seul appareil, donc si vous avez un smartphone et un pc portable, faudra choisir. Aucune sécurité à l’hôtel, on rentre et sort comme dans un moulin ! Enfin bref, c'est pas du tout un 4 étoiles, vraiment pas ! C'est plutôt un club d'habitués d'un certain âge.
