Good place to stay in the heart of Paris

The hotel is very cozy and nice. One of the electrical outlets in the room did not work and we could not seem to get the bathroom fan to turn on but otherwise it was a very nice hotel and only a few minutes to the l’arc de triumph and the CDG Etoile metro. The staff were very helpful. I would stay here again.

A beautiful, cozy and aesthetically-pleasing property. I felt very welcome at this hotel. The staff were so kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and stunning. Location was convenient with lots of boutiques, cafes and restaurants around. I would definately come back to this hotel.

The Doisy is a small boutique hotel in the17th arrondissement, discreetly tucked away in a charming side alley. Our room was on the small side, but elegantly decorated and appointed (it does look just like in the website picture). The location within walking distance of of the Arc De Triomphe and The Champs Elysees is very convenient, as is access to nearby Metro stations. The young service staff is very friendly and helpful. On the negative side, the elevator was not working properly during our stay. The inside stairs are also twisty and narrow, and could pose a problem for senior travelers who are mobility-challenged. Overall, the hotel offers very solid accommodations at a reasonable, but not cheap, price.

This is a small hotel with a big heart. The staff were amazing and bent over backwards to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Easy access to metro and walking distance to the Arc. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Doisy Etoile-Orso a MUST stay.

This was the best hotel stay during our vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small but for (2) people it was perfect. The room was very clean and offered plenty of USB outlets and even a desk to get some work done if needed. Our room was located on the street side of the hotel. The street noise is loud but once you close the window it's almost all gone, we had no issue going to sleep. The hotel location is great, just a short walk to the Metro and the Arc de Triomphe. This stay for us was definitively an A+.

I stayed at Hotel Doisy Etoile with my two sisters in June of 2024 and had a wonderful experience! As three young women traveling alone, safety was our biggest priority and this hotel delivered. There were metro stations in close walking distance and we always felt safe in the area of our hotel. The rooms are decorated very cute, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom was larger than expected. We also had a great expereience working with management at the front desk. They helped us work through a difficult travel situation after mutliple cancelled flights form the US. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Every time I go to Paris I am coming to this hotel. It’s small (everything in Paris is though) but perfect and tres chic. Staff very helpful with baggage.

staff who greeted us was nice however upon checking in noticed bedsheet has old stain, location is far from Arc like 15-20 mins walk , its in ordinary area, does not feel safe walking late at night. Bathroom is so so small even for a petite person

The staff was polite, pleasant and very helpful. The view from room #54 is horrible - roof tops and other buildings are all you see. The room had no washcloths, and the soap, shampoo and lotion containers were less than one-half full.

Weekend in Paris

We had a wonderful stay in Paris at the Doisy Etoile - great location and the hotel was clean, friendly and a great little boutique hotel option.

Rooms are extremely small. The elevator stops in between the floors and there are 8 steps that you have either up or down which will be challenging with heavy/bigger luggage. I’m wondering how this hotel got a 4 star rating given the amenities it has.

Friendly staff at check in. Central location. Easy to travel to by public transport. Clean and tidy room.

Friendly staff, great location, close to food places and Arc de Triomphe and Tour Eiffel.

The area was nice, the hotel is located in a very picturesque courtyard. Lots of nice shops around and a walking distance to Arc de Triumph. However, our room definitely needed some maintenance (there was a blockage in the sink and our bath). The only window was overlooking the breakfast room, so it was not possible to open it or even open the blinds without being completely exposed. I wouldn't recommend taking breakfast either, the choice was decent, but we didn't like scrambled eggs and orange juice didn't taste right. It's a pity, because the area was nice and staff was friendly.

Beautiful boutique hotel

My 2 friends and I stayed in this lovely boutique hotel and absolutely loved it. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Easy to walk around nice neighborhood with lots of nice cafes and places to eat. We took the metro and trains from here - both had stops within 5 minutes walking distances. We loved our stay here!

Nice, cosy hotel located near to metro station, Champs Elysees (shopping and food) and Arc De Triumph. Room and bathroom small but clean. Staff were lovely - professional and helpful. Be careful when getting out of lift especially with your baggage as lift is located right at the stairs.

Paris 2024!

We stayed there for a week! We were in Paris to see Taylor Swift, do some shopping, and play golf. This hotel is conveniently located near the Metro line (6 minute walk) and from Champs-Élysées. When I had a question, concierge was quick to respond. The hotel was very clean, staff was great, and the room was great as well! We did go to a bodega to pick up snacks and drinks. Overall, really great hotel in the middle of everything. It was really cool to get the true Parisian experience staying here.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We visit Paris for a very short three day. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is hard to believe how clean it is. The bedding and towels have no smell but super clean that is very hard to do since many 5 star hotels even cannot do this. The pillows are comfortable. Very important, the staff are very friendly! Highly recommended!

Clean, tidy and great service.

This was a nice little gem in the heart of Paris. Clean, modern, very classy. Breakfast was excellent with service. The manager and Kevin were extremely helpful. Walking distance to public transit and the Arc de Triomphe.

The Doisy Etoile was very convenient to the Arc de Triomphe and metro. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The only negative was the twin sofa bed - not comfortable. I stayed here 5 years ago and this was my 2nd stay and would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

A charming hotel for the price

The hotel was a last-minute booking. It is very conveniently located to both the metro and the Arc de Triomphe. The rooms are quite small, but that detail was fully disclosed prior to booking. The bathroom is also very small. The staff is very friendly, and they all speak English. A charming hotel for the price.

Walkable to many restaurants and stores. It takes about 20 minutes by walk to champ elysees and it felt comfortable and safe. Room is small but clean. You could hear noises from the hall and outside.

Avoid it in Summer season.

Basically it was good experience in Hotel Doisy for my family vacation. Location is good and I like the place we had breakfast. BUT I suggest to avoid this hotel in HOT summer season. There were issues in AC while I stayed. They tried to change the room but another room also has AC problem, then others were fully booked. Meaning I had to sleep without AC working for 3 nights. Unfortunately the week I stays in Paris was burning hot. I remember it was a new high temperature record. I complained the broken AC but nothing happened for two days. Eventually they put a portable one but it was not helpful. I think, the room condition should be checked and notified before check-in. And the hotel should keep what they told. When I recognised it, the hotel said they will change room tomorrow but told me fully book the day after. Not sure why they did not know the booking status when I complained about the broken AC. The next day the hotel told that a technician will come to fix it but the hotel said the technician will come next Monday which I already left Paris. I highly suspect that Doisy hotel already knows the room condition with broken AC. And the worse is that they kept changing words about my complains. Again the hotel is good but you should avoid hot summer season unless you love to go bed with sweaty body.

Lovely hotel in fab location

Our stay was great but we did however expect three twin beds and one was a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. During the booking it did not specify a sofa bed. I think this definitely should change to notify people before booking.

The location is amazing, beautiful views from balcony and wonderful decor (looks like the pictures). I enjoyed my stay. Although the room was small but was to be expected and the room also smelt a bit bad. Overall lovely hotel.

This is “the” niche boutique in Paris perfectly located to all shopping, restraints, rails, bus & tours near the Arc d’Triumph! Remodeled 2017, designer everything, premium linens, robes & slippers, delicious full breakfast & espresso bar, Full bar/Lounge, pet friendly $0.00, excellent-courteous staff. Booked one night, stayed another. My new favorite.

Staff at this hotel are lovely and really helpful. Hotel was nice and clean, fresh towels every day. Hotel is only about a 5-8 minute taxi ride to the Eiffel Tower and a 5 minute walk to the Arc De Triumph. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this hotel

Very nice and friendly staff! Great location. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. There is a nice flat screen tv, refrigerator and air conditioning which was a plus. The only downfall I would have to say are the rooms are pretty small, so the rooms are fine if you only have 2-3 people max in one room. But I would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely little boutique hotel in the etoile district of Paris. It is within easy walking distance of many resturants and cafes as well as the metro. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, typical for Paris.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel itself was pretty. We unfortunately did not have a working AC in our room during an exceptionally hot summer which made the small room a bit uncomfortable amd stuffy. The breakfast was very very good.

Beautiful, affordable small hotel in a great area

Overall everything was wonderful. The hotel is small but really lovely, in a great area, and very affordable. The rooms are really small but had everything we needed. The highlight of staying here is the design. The place is gorgeous with beautiful decor throughout. One small issue we had was when coming back late one night both doors were locked and we had no way to get in still the front desk wasn’t staffed. Someone finally cake down a few minutes later but it was troubling that there was no way to get in otherwise. Also the lights in our bathroom flickered on and off throughout our stay. Beyond that, can’t recommend this place enough!

Quaint beautiful and accommodating

Such an amazing hotel. The rooms are so cute and clean. The bed was super comfortable and I loved my view. The hotel is quiet and is a quick walk to the metro station. It's situated in a great location in the midst of pharmacies, many restaurants, and other stores. The staff are phenomenal-- impeccable customer service from walking in the door to my departure. Each member was so friendly and attentive. When my flight got cancelled, they allowed me to sit in the lounge area while I got stuff sorted out, and even offered to help. The next times that I come to Paris, this will be the only place I'll stay. Mercí!

Perfect for a quick trip to Paris!

This hotel was perfect for my sister and I as we travelled to Paris for three days! The location is fantastic, the decor and atmosphere is great and the staff was very helpful with everything we needed!

Great convenient place w helpful staff

Very convenient to access from public transportation, local area has a few cute bistros and sidewalk cafes. Not adjacent to tourist attractions (good or bad depending on your needs). Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful with luggage, directions, and spoke English very well. The 17th arrondisement is a fun place with energy. If I am traveling solo, I will definitely stay again!

In large part, we chose this hotel because the list of amenities included free parking. In reality the hotel is centrally located near the Arc de Triumph, a plus, but only pay parking is available. The underground parking is clean, well light and secure but costs about 30 Euro per day.

Super clean, the perfect hotel

I definitely recommend this hotel and when I travel to Paris again I will book at Doisy Etoile. The room was small but that was excepted, it was super clean and the bathroom looked amazing. I can’t stress enough how immaculate the hotel is. Perfect location, minutes walk to Arc De Triomphe and from there you can walk to Champs Elysees Quarter. Ternes is the closest Metro. There are plenty of restaurants and bakeries around the area as well as nice boutique shops. The staff at the hotel were so lovely and friendly. Highly recommended.

Receptionist are extremely friendly and helpful. Always available to help and answer any quiestions you might have. Place is a little small, but very clean. Elector is extremely small. Can only fit 2 people with a large suitcase. Dragging suitcases up and down the stairs to your room is a little bit of work.

Despite being under renovation during our stay, the Doisy Etoile was clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our three days there.

don't waist your time looking for another Hotel.

location is perfect, service at the desk, amazing, ( the lady at the desk was really good, well I have to say everybody was good. Also the lady at the kitchen ( breakfast) was so efficient). I never slept so well in a hotel bed. Very confortable. I recomend this Hotel 100%, and I am very demanding. But I have to say, very impressed with the Hotel and the service.

Nice hotel with aircon

Room was tidy but there were some food stains on the table and on carpet. Very small rooms but at least they have aircondotioning and wifi. Staff was friendly, but knows limited English so we need to speak French to her. The left comes in between floors in between stairs so if you have a heavy luggage it's not ideal for you.

Brilliant staff who were able to make sure I could shower after a very slow marathon. Extended my late checkout, which was greatly appreciated. Only loses a point for the air con pumping out heat, even when set to cold. Shame when it was so warm in Paris!

It was good, in all respects such as staff, amenities, cleanness, locality, access to public transportation, location.

Second time staying in this hotel . Had to change room as when we arrived we were given our room key and the room was a mess . Bedding was all over and McDonald's wrappers and rubbish . Room had not been cleaned . Manager apologised and gave us another room . Second room was the exact room we were in the stay before . Nice room . Had a bath which is a plus . We locked ourselves out the safe and a lovely gentleman who works there came and let us back in . Overall good stay . Would like to see a kettle in rooms but overall stay was ok

Nice hotel. Bummed around Europe with my 6yr old for a couple weeks. Spent a night here. Great price. Spent less than $40. Room was really nice. Only downside was the night manager was clueless. Think he was new. I would stay again for sure.

CONVENIENT LOCATION

I chose this hotel for location only. Close to shopping, metro, restaurants. Otherwise just an ok hotel.

Excellent location for our 6 night stay.

The Doisy is a good 3 star hotel wee located in the mainly relaxed residential district of Ternes. The hotel is within 5 mins walk of 3 metro stations and using RER B and A from the airport can easily be reached by train from Charles DE Gaulle as long as you do not mind a little walking between lines. The staff were very helpful but not intrusive. The room (Comfort) is a little bigger than the basic level but well worth a little extra as Paris hotel rooms are generally very small. The bathroom was a good size also. Would recommend and definitely use this hotel again if we wished to stay in this area of Paris in the future.

Stayed during a large conference. Hotel convenient as it's 10 minutes walk to the bottom of the avenue.

Nice hotel close to the arch

I was pleased with my room and the location of this hotel. Although it didn't provide a view of the Arc de triomphe, as it stated in the promotion, I was helped by the staff getting around the city to my events and dining out. The room was small,but it's Paris, and it was clean. If you want good value and not break your budget give this hotel a shot.

Great accomodation in the heart of Paris

I had a lovely time with my husband, good rest in comfortable and clean room. The staff was speaking perfect English and they were very friendly and willing.

Very good service, small, nica and cute. The only two issues are the smell of the room and the sound of the church's bells. Tolerable but is what we got used to during our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located close to metro and RER stations. It's a perfect location if you are arriving from Beauvais Airport. The staff at the hotel is very nice and very accommodating. The bathroom was super big and nicely renovated. The bed and pillows were also super comfortable. The whole hotel is renovated and you will definitely enjoy your stay in this boutique hotel.

Location, location, location.... Normal size for European hotel ...Small room, small bathroom ... Helpful front desk ... We did have a weir event ... A man got in to the room with a key with no identification on him... And nobody knew who was it ... The hotel has a safe, so that's very helpful....

Hotel facts

Its a small and old hotel that needs some reconstruction insede. The table in my room had some scratched. And closet has dust on the upper section and etc. Breakfast was normal but the lady responsible for breakfast can't speak english. Hot water smelled coffee! Because maybe she uses same for making cofee. Receptionists were kinda helpful especially Jeremi but most of them covers for hotel when something wrong happens in their hotel ( instead of having hospitality and helping passangers Rights). Its near Arc of Triomph and near supermarkets.
