The place is very clean the cleaning staff are great. Food is expensive and little variety. Should train the staff to greet and welcome guests all the time.

Super close, although it is the farthest from the park. Staff are excellent, and exceed our expectations. Food at the breakfast buffet was a little cheap, but had a Disney character in everything. The experience at the buffet was great, although younger children might not like mascots in their face at the table. Overall, their food has room to grow, but the hotel was great!

Absolute disappointment! Having travelled from abroad to experience the joy of Disneyland with wife and two kids we settled on Hollywood Hotel DIsneyland. I should say this was a very disappointing experience, false advertising of so many things. 1. Pool apparently closed for maintenance not mentioned anywhere on Expedia's website. When asking cast members about using another hotels services was given a rude abrupt no in broken English. 2. Cast members (staff) rude an unapproachable on most occasions. 3. Dining options extortionate and false advertising of dining with Disney "friends" when only one character ever in the restaurant for evenings. Paris and America there was plenty more Disney Friends to experience dinner with. Lack of options for gluten free guests, western kids. 4. Beds are as hard as a rock literally better off sleeping on the floor. Tread with caution as you are literally just seen as a monetary transaction nothing more which is bitterly disappointing as this was the worst experience we've ever encountered at a Disney Property. What was meant to be a joyful and magical experience for two milestone birthdays had been ruined by such a poor experience. Disney doesn't create memories it creates nightmares of such distasteful experiences!!

Great experience at marvel room

Though my wife and I had a beautiful experience living in a Disney feel environment, there are a couple shortcomings. The outdoor pool was closed due to “bad” weather. In our 3 day stay, it was all blue skies and no clouds, with barely a hint of a freeze. So, we couldn’t take a dip in the water, which is every tourists first option in any resort. Secondly, the limited beverage and dining options. There was no water in the room except the water dispenser, nor could we even order them. In a 4 star resort, there should be the luxury to one of the basic essentials to life, which is water. In speaking of dining, the food and cuisines were delicious, however, ridiculously expensive with limited quantity of food in our plates ( unless you choose buffet ). There were only two dining restaurants, and only a 7 eleven that was at a distance, which would require an uber just to reach there. We loved the 4 star resort environment, luxury and beautifully designed Disney themed wall, floors and ceiling and the kind employees, but if they fix these issues, we got the true 4 star vibes. My Hotel Disney Experience

Hotel is very clean and nice inside and out. Staff are great. Only down fall is eating inside hotel is very expensive and no english speaking on regular TV channels.

It's a good hotel for families, my only criticism is that food is very expensive and there is nothing around to have choices, for money value you get nothing, even have to pay for amenities.

Wonderful stay. Very clean. Great service. Most staff were bilingual at a minimum. Nowhere to eat outside the Disney resorts. Tap water not great.

The property is very convenient for people talking kids to Disney however the area does not have any options to eat off site and the prices on site are quite expensive. There is a little 7-eleven within walking distance for snacks. The pool space is great.

I have tried to communicate with the location property for almost 2 weeks and have not heard back once

Big room, clean, nice staff

We stayed in the updated Marvel room and it was nice and well-themed. It has a small fridge and a hot water maker (that’s kind of a hot mess) for coffee or tea. The Avengers slippers were a fun addition. The bed was on the firm side, but still okay. We had to ask for a few extra pillows, which were quickly supplied. They send you an email saying they don’t offer travel shampoo/soap/conditioner anymore, but that you can buy some - they even stated this at the front desk at check-in. What they didn’t say was that they still have all of those items available in the room, they’re just the kind that have to stay in the shower/counter, so buying any isn’t necessary. They are even kind enough to provide bug spray outside at the park shuttle area. Speaking of the shuttle - it comes often and is very convenient. The two restaurants on site are good. We had breakfast at the buffet (and got to see Chef Goofy) and dinner at the Archivist (Marvel themed atmosphere and food and drinks). Food at both was good. Overall we’ve been very pleased with our stay and I would put the hotel on par or higher with any mid-level hotel at any Disney park.

Great place to stay after a long day at Disneyland. The whole place continues the whole magical Disney vibe.

Perfect for a day at the Park

Super convenient to the park. The bus ran every few minutes. There were plenty of taxis to get back to the airport. Room was huge for Asian standards and the bed was actual not hard. Will stay there again!!!

What I dislike about the property was the dining options also TV constantly went off very annoying they do not compensate you in any way only say sorry sorry is not good enough you pay good money to stand a nice hotel and they only want to take your money never want to give you anything back from any inconvenience I would recommend staying far away from this hotel if possible

Overall the hotel was great, staff were friendly n tip top service. Only thing is nearby hotel do not have any shops to buy snacks and drinks. The cost for food were also quite expensive especially the room fees exclude breakfast and we have to bring our own toiletries. I think its overprice.

Rooms were clean and spacious. All the staff were very accomodating, patient and respond fast when you need something taken care of in the rooms. My family arrived early and they have a drop off luggage service and they even bring it to your room once your room is ready. You also don't have to wait too long for the shuttle service to and from the park.

Services had cut down compared to our last stay a year ago altho decoration and details for Marvel room is amazing. With plastic reduction remember to bring your own toiletries (except shampoo conditioner and shower gel). Customer service line always busy and impossible to get thru.

The place is family-friendly, I have appreciated that there's no wifi access in the toilet, which I like most because my teenager daughter could not stay long in the bathroom; I hope that the hotel has a bidet, it is necessary.

The Disneyland Hollywood Resort was excellent in assistance with our every need, making it extremely convenient. The staff were multilingual and very easy to communicate with. The only negative is that it costs much more than other hotels outside of Disneyland

Stayed for one night after visiting Disneyland HK. Recently renovated. Food was great in hotel. Ate at ink & plate twice with Kids.

Disney Hollywood Hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-kept. The food at the hotel restaurants was very good. The breakfast buffet was great, and Chef Donald made it even more exciting for the kid. The ocean view was beautiful. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable.

Spacious hotel and they have a dispenser in the room!

Having stayed at all 3 hotels at Disneyland, this is my and continues to be my go to. The services offered, the friendliness in staff and the general atmosphere make it my first option of choice.

AMAZING!

Amazing hotel! The lobby was spacious and inviting. The bedroom felt large and was incredibly clean. The slippers were a nice touch! The shuttle service to the park was frequent, reliable and easy to use. We absolutely loved our stay here. We wish we could have spent more time in the pool! Would absolutely stay here again - we had a great stay!

it was a lovely hotel. Just sad we dont get to enjoy the hotel, mostly because we stayed there for the purpose of going to disneyland and to be able to rest for a while so we can come back at watch fireworks but due to the heat and crowded situation in disneyland pretty much exhausted us that we just needed to rest in the room and used it as a sleeping place.. overall, it was a good place, very easy to go to disney park.. lovely staff.

Overall wonderful experience. Watched fireworks every night at 9.30pm from Disneyland from hotel room. Staff service was excellent, and property is well maintained. Only negative was dining was expensive in hotel and not many options around area. But overall still an excellent place to stay Thank you Disney - hollywood hotel staff. Please keep up the good work!

The property was very nice and clean but the staff were rude. We were asking where the pool was and they were upset that we asked and told us that they’re very busy.

Fantastic stay at Hollywood Hotel. Our cases got lost on the way so arrived with no luggage, staff super helpful to help locate it and delivered to our room. My mum required a wheelchair during our stay and staff were so helpful with this letting us hire from the hotel so she didn’t have to walk to/from the park. We had reservations at the other Disney hotel Restaurants on property and the bell desk arranged staff to take us up instead of walking which was very much appreciated. The remodel of the lobby and restaurants has been done exquisitely and I can’t recommend the hotel and it’s staff highly enough.

It was a bit luxurious hence the price. Lovely decor throughout. I wish there were cheaper breakfast options. We did not want to spend almost £100 on breakfast buffet for 2 adults and 1 child.

We felt at home. Housekeeping, especially Angel from Nepal, is fantastic. Option to have some cup noodles and sandwiches incase you missed the restaurants' opening time.

Nice hotel.. up to Disney standards. Only problem is that only 1 restaurant was open and quite expensive buffet breakfast ($120 USD) for family of 4!

We've stayed at several Disney Hotels but this is the most well cost-performance hotel. The reception can get crowded at check in time. The room is clean, amenity is good. The staffs are very friendly. The piano pool was superb! Not too clouded and safety guards are always on duty. The restaurants are bit pricy but it is not only for this hotel but also for all the areas in Disney resort. Free bottled water for the number of the guests everyday was a bonus. A highlight of the hotel is Mickey and Disney designed statue, picture, amenities everywhere. I cannot forget to mention that Goffy was roaming around at the lobby to greet you! We will definately come back :)

It sort of isolated from amny thing as you have to travel to hong kong for more selection.

A really nice hotel. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Made our trip to Disneyland easy with the free shuttles. A few small glitches with the staff but management was quick to help us out.
