It was good

Loved it!

Good accommodation half way between Harare and Sandton. Good value for money.

Easy and authentic

Older property but well maintained. Good wifi, excellent restaurant on the property.

We had an initial hiccup with a different room being reserved than what we actually booked on expedia so I recommend confirming with the Inn via phone which room you have booked but they sorted it out for us and we had a really nice stay. Stayed a night each in the deluxe family and the family rooms and both were clean, nice, spacious rooms and had everything we needed. Both restaurants connected to the Inn had great food and service. Thank you.

Restaurants and shops within short walking distance. Weekends can be noisy at night because of street parties and music nearby

The hotel's restaurant was excellent but no nearby alternatives.

Does the job

Stayed at Digger Inn a number of times now. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Had very little interaction with staff beyond collecting keys but they are friendly. Wifi system is a little arcane and patchy. Food in the restaurant leaves much to be desired. The Thorn Tree is much better than the hotel bar/restaurant. But overall, for Francistown, it works. I will stay there again.

Business trip to Francistown

Online booking was easy and efficient, the staff were very friendly, our wifi did not work all the time causing some frustration.

Home away from home...

My trip was amazing great food and great service....

Colonial and friendly.

I like Diggers. Stayed a few times and it suits our needs adequately. Colonial style architecture and design feel. Friendly staff and good food next door. Clean rooms and usually not too busy. Good hotel.

A quiet place in the city

The hotel is quiet and secure, a comfortable and clean place for individuals or families. There are two restaurants available with excellent food and reasoable price. There is a gym and the neighorhood area is safe for walking/jogging.

Short three night stay

The property was well cared for and clean and most of the reception staff were friendly and competent. There was ongoing confusion about whether we had paid in advance, and at first how many nights we were staying. One of the managers knew there was a confirmation email from Hotels.com but evidently that didn't get communicated to the rest of the reception staff as I was asked to pay again upon checkout. However a nice well-maintained room and good amenities. My third stay in Francistown and next trip I will probably stay there again.

Nice hotel for a good price

The hotel is in a good location and has secure parking - great for travelers passing through Francistown on the way to somewhere else.

First impression on parking the car at the back was OMG !! On being shown the available rooms we were very impressed. The novel set up of the restaurant and snack bar was enlightening. Only there for one night but will certainly use again

Probably best place in Francistown

Peaceful break from lots of driving in comfort

The hotel is unfortunately situated above a liquor shop and a restaurant/pub. People drank at the restaurant until late in the night and made a huge amount of noise which could be heard in our rooms.
